Chapter 2: The Celesteon Council
Within a large crystal cavern, countless white creatures were gathered around several other ones wearing colored crystals around their necks. These creatures are known as the Celesteon.
"Never before in my lifetime have I experienced the meeting of the entire Celesteon council, Jeremiah." The Celesteon wearing pure white crystals said to one next to him.
"Ezekiel, I am worried, announcing this problem may result in mass panic." Jeremiah said.
"It was my idea, Jeremiah." A celesteon wearing dark blue crystals stated.
"Me and Betruger have no objection to revealing this threat to the rest of the council, Solar." A different celesteon wearing deep red crystals.
"Lets get this over with Lucifer, I have a hierarch ceremony to complete and I refuse to wait another day for it." A celesteon wearing bright yellow crystals said to the red crystalled celesteon.
"Yes, of course Atomic." Lucifer replied.
"Celesteon of the council. If we may have mere moments of your time, we have a very serious matter to discuss!" Lucifer announced to others within the council.
Almost immediatly the crowd of celesteon silenced themselves turning their attention to Lucifer.
"We have a crisis among us, there is an immense increase of negative emotion in the region where the human's mockery of the gift of life, known to them as Bagi. She has lost all forms of rational thought and is now creating mass chaos. We must persue a way to contain this potential threat." Lucifer explained.
"What threat does this pose to us? We care not of the surface world's problems!" A voice among the crowd shouted in protest.
"If you must ask, there has been a new parasite implanted into the earth." Lucifer said shooting warning glances at any other protestors
"Another parasite? This is unheard of!" A worried voice called out.
"This is no ordinary parasite, this one has the ability to spawn formshifters, which can be deadly if they copy the creature known as Bagi." Lucifer said.
"Impossible!" "A super parasite?" "We are doomed!" Several voices were heard saying similar statements.
"Enough!" Ezekiel commanded, silencing the crowd.
"We are aware that this parasite has the potential to doom us all, humans and celesteon alike, but there is a solution." Ezekiel assured.
"What do you expect we do? Fight the parasite on our own? Most of us are pacifists! We would be destroyed!" Lucifer asked with a hint of spite in his voice.
"No need, I have located a guardian-" Ezekiel started.
"Preposterous! There is no guardian who can defeat a parasite of this level!" Lucifer argued.
"Allow me to finish, Lucifer." Ezekiel said calmly. "This guardian is none other than the twilix, Saiba. I have seen his skills and he is indeed worthy of defeating the parasite."
"This is an outrage! Why has no one informed us about a twilix here? We could have had this problem resolved before it even started!" The yellow crystalled celesteon said clearly annoyed.
"I was unaware until just recently, do not blame this on me or any other celesteon." Ezekiel stated.
"At any rate, we would merely need to help the twilix obtain the rice ball-" Lucifer started.
"Objection! What if this supposed guardian intends to use the rice ball for himself?" The yellow crystalled celesteon argued.
"Topaz, I have been observing the twilix ever since I was aware of his presence. He will not use the rice ball." Ezekiel countered.
"If need be we could send a few celesteon to the surface!" Lucifer said loudly.
"Herecy! No more than one celesteon is allowed on the surface! It is law!" Topaz shouted at Lucifer.
"Topaz! You are have no right to label Lucifer as a heretic!" Solar objected.
"He has the intent to break our sacred laws! If anyone deserves more to be called a heretic, it is you for defending this tyrant!" Topaz countered his voice rising in volume.
"ENOUGH!" A voice rang out immedialty silencing the entire cavern.
Shortly after the word was spoken a ghostly image of an old-looking celesteon with eyes a pale gray color materialized above the center of the room.
"By the gods...." Topaz said bowing his head, all the other celesteon doing the same.
"Founder, we are not worthy of your presence-" Topaz started.
"Indeed you are not. Which is why I am here, to settle matters." The ghostly celesteon cut in.
"Founder, Grand Master, this heretic-" Topaz started again.
"Heretic is a harsh word, and should not be used without proper reason, expecially to a fellow hierarch, you most of all should know how that feels." Founder intterrupted.
"He was suggesting we break our sacred laws!" Topaz argued.
"This is a time of crisis... if ragnrarok is to come, there will be no laws to break, and no lives to live." Founder countered getting a few confused looks.
"You are suggesting we break our laws? You are no better than him!" Topaz declared spitefully.
"I am not suggesting anything, Topaz... I am simply pointing out that there perhaps lies a solution where all compromise can be made." Founder explained as he slowly started to fade away.
"Grand Master!" Topaz called out too late before the ancient looking celesteon dissappeared.
".... So what do we do? Go on with the current plans?" Lucifer asked.
"You Heretics! can do as you please. We of the Crystallic Celesteon Clan, have better ways of doing things." Topaz replied spitefully motioning for his group of celesteon to leave.
