Chapter 2

**Jake**

James looked angrily at Jake. "I asked you where you were going." Jake looked scared. He stuttered out, "Um..um..I'm going to ..um ...um." James punched him in the shoulder. "Answer faster you furfag." Jake held his shoulder, it was bruised. Jake thought about running, but then saw someone coming up from behind James, Connor and Dylan. Jake smiled and said, "I'm going where he's going." As he pointed at the furry coming towards them. Dylan was the first to turn, but only saw a set of claws slice his cheek. Dylan yelled, "Fuck!" Dwane stood there and said, "No thanks."

James got up close to Dwane and said, "You shouldn't have done that." Dwane smiled at him and said, "And you shouldn't have gotten so close to me." As took his claws and slashed at James' groin. James grabbed his crouch and yelled, "FUCK, MY BALLS ARE BLEEDING!!!" Dwane calmly responded "Well you have fun with that. Come on Jake, let's go!"

**Emma**

Emma was sitting alone in the empty classroom that her friends used as a meeting place during free period. She stared at the clock. It was like five minutes after the bell rang. Usually at least her boyfriend was here by now. She started getting worried. She heard the door unlatch. She turned and saw Alexis walk into the room. She jumped off the desk she was sitting now and greeted her, "Alexis! I haven't seen you all day!" Alexis ran to her and gave her a great big hug. "I've missed you too!" Emma asked her, "Did you see Jake on the way here. He is never late. Not even to free period." As soon as she said this the door opened and in walked Jake and Dwane.

"Emma!" Jake exclaimed as he hugged her. Both of their tails were wagging like crazy. Emma said "Hey baby!" she kissed his muzzle. "Umm..I taste something on your muzzle. Its kinda like, blood. Oh my god what happened?" Jake sighed and explained how he got hit in the face by James. "I'm surprised on how you noticed they taste. Dwane and I spent like 2 minutes in the bathroom trying to wash it all off." Emma rolled her eyes.

They talked for a few more minutes and then Soedi walked in, talking to Allie. Dwane ran to Allie and gave her a hug. She pushed away, "Not know, I'm not in the mood." Dwane looked puzzled, "What's wrong?" Allie broke into tears, which she normally never did, and fell into Dwane's arms. She stuttered out, "I was kicked off the swim team! All just because I'm a furry!"

The others comforted Allie as best they could, "It's alright! You're gonna be okay." Said Soedi. Dwane held her in his arms and said "I'll make you feel better." Allie punched him, "NO! I'm not it the mood for sex." They all laughed and Dwane's cheeks turn red. "I meant I'm going to take you to that café you really like." Allie giggled and said "Oh ok." Dwane said "But if you wanted to later...." She punched him again, "Ok maybe."

**All**

They snuck thru the hallways, careful not to let any teachers see them leave the school. They got outside and Allie breathed in the fresh air. "Thank god we're outside. I hate the smell of the humans in there." Soedi laughed, "Don't we all." They all got into Dwane's truck, He and Allie got in the front, and the rest got in the back. On the way to the café, which was a 10 minute drive, they talked about random stuffs. Half way there was some awkward silence and Soedi and Alexis started making out. Their muzzles pressed close together and he tried to force his tough into her mouth. She pushed him back and said, "No, bad boy! Sit!" They all laughed at the comment, but Soedi, who started whimpering.

They got to the café, The Golden Cup, and walked in, still laughing. They sat down and Dwane said, "Hey, can we get a few coffees?" They man working the counter said, "Sure thing Dwane!" He was Jordan, one of the only non-furry hating humans in the town. They got their coffees and started talking about their day. After a while they noticed some kids from school come in every now and again. Alexis shrugged her shoulders, "I guess school's out."

After an hour, a group of large, muscular guys walked in. They went over to the group of friends. The person leading the group said, "Well looky here. Looks like we got some furs at our table." Dwane rolled his eyes and told him, "Piss off, we were her first." The man looked shocked, "Did a fur, just tell ME what to do? Kid I will fuck you up." Dwane spat at him. The man grew red in the face with anger. He made a grab for Dwane, but Allie stood up saying, "Stop! He's just a little ticked that you don't respect him." The man smiled and said to the other men behind him, "Get the van ready." The rest of them went outside, leaving there leader with the furry friends. He turned back to Allie and said, "We don't respect any fur, you got that?" He then grabbed her and pulled her out of her chair. She screamed and hissed, "Let go of me you bastard!" The man laughed, "Oh not a chance. Your head would look nice over my mantle piece." Dwane and Soedi got up and went up to him demanding they let Allie go. The man pulled out a gun and pointed it to Allie's head saying, "Get the fuck away, or she dies." The other people in the café screamed and ran towards the door. The man said, "Everyone get back in your seats. If anyone leaves I will have my men shoot every single one of you." A furry demon tapped him on the shoulder and said, "Not today." The man turned around and got a pistol slapped across his face.

"Fuck you man!" shouted the man. The demon stood silently. Dwane took his chance to grab the demons gun and shoot the man in the leg. The man cried out and limbed out the door yelling, "I'll get you, you furfags!"

Jake, who was in shock the whole time, said to Dwane, "Remind me, why am I friends with you." Dwane laughed "Because we are both bat-shit crazy!" Jake tilted his head, "And how is that?" Dwane chuckled, "Your crazy because your friends with me, and I'm crazy because I just stole a gun from a demon furry, and shot a human in the leg with it." The demon gave him a cross look and took the gun from him. Dwane grinned, "Sorry."

**Jake**

Jake was still stunned about the near death of Allie. She seemed fine, but something told him that she wasn't, but hell if he knew. Trying to read Allies emotions was like trying to divide by zero. That demon furry, who Jake thought looked familiar, started putting his gun back into its holster. He was kind of a wolf demon, with black wings and a red trim. Jake asked him, "So, who are you?" The demon looked up and shortly responded, "Jason." Dwane asked, "Why did you help us? You could have gotten killed." Jason answered, "I've dedicated my life to stoping these anti-furry groups from killing any furries." Allie simply said, "Well thanks for saving my life!" Jason chuckled, "No problem." Jake asked, "Wait, are you that guy from the high school a few miles down? The fur that killed a few humans?" Jason nodded. Alexis squealed, "Oh my god you're THAT Jason? You killed like five anti-furry students. There was a HUGE investigation, I thought that you would kill all my non-furry friends, and..." Jason cut her off, "I said yes, didn't I?" Soedi stepped forward, "Oi! Don't be a dick to my girlfriend!" Jason backed up, holding his hands out, "It's all right man. I just don't like reliving my past." Soedi nodded.

Jake asked him, "So, I know I'm not that much of a fighter, but can I help you fight the anti-furs?" Everyone looked shocked. Jake was never a fighter. He was all about peace and shit like that. Emma went up to him and said, "What do you mean? I know you couldn't live with yourself if you stepped on a bug, let alone kill someone." Jake turned to her, holding her paws, "I'm not going to kill anyone, but I want to help this guy in any way I can. Aren't you sick of being treated like second class citizen? It's time we take a stand." Dwane clapped him on the shoulder, "That's what I'm talking about! If you're in, I'm in too!"
