The Master Of Thieves
Not sure what I'm doing here. If you've heard of Pleasure Bon Bon, then you'll get an idea of what era this is in. However, I might be adding in things from time to time, since I'm just plain crazy. Meh, we'll see what happens.
Prologue: The Promise

"Did you know, that if two people make a promise under a blossoming tree, that it will always come true?" She asked him, her purple fur almost shining in the moonlight.
"Come on, you know that's just a fairy tale. Why not believe in something you can see?" He replied, teasing her.
She smiled, her tail swishing gently, knowing he was only poking a little fun. "Well, I want to make a promise... with you."
"You're my closest friend, silly. Anything you want to promise, I'll make the same one," He stated, grinning.
"Promise me that no matter how far apart we are, that you'll still be my best friend, and eventually, when we're both ready...you'll take me as your mate." She spoke softly, leaning her head on his shoulder.
"Wow, you sure don't take this promise thing lightly," He answered, leaning his head onto hers. "Very well, I promise."
He smiled, his silver eyes gleaming as his dark emerald fur began to be covered in the pink blossoms from the tree they both sat under.
