Chapter 2: "Aliens."

The door hatch opened. I took in a deep breath and rushed out the ship's door. I was awestruck, the planet looked very much like earth. There were trees, grass, and buildings. I had landed in something that looked like a park. I looked around and didn't see anyone. I knew that there was life nearby. If a huge spacecraft came down in my park and destroyed some buildings I would take cover and hide. With a small amount of time before being confronted I pushed some buttons on my wrist computer to run a scan of the atmosphere. The computer beeped as it had finished the calculations. It was almost like earth with the exception that there wasn't any pollution. The oxygen was a little higher and the gravity was one and a half times that of earth. Feeling comfortable enough with the readings I removed my helmet. A cool breeze rushed across my face. My lungs were filled with the oxygen rich air. It reminded me of the pure country air, free from contamination and smog.

My mind snapped back into reality as two very large armored vehicles approached me. I steadied the rifle in my hand. The vehilcles stopped and people began to funnel out of the fully covered with what looked like body armour and guns. I held my ground. They came within 15ft of me. A few of the people looked very nervious. A strange voice came over an intercom like device. "kfine 'olik nert comni'fieg treng das" The voice said. It was obvious that they were nervious. I went to move and they all began to point their guns at me. I slowly bent down and put my rifle on the ground with my hands in the air. "Don't shoot!" I yelled out. The people looked at each other. Two of them started to argue with each other. Eventually three people cautiously moved towards me. They grabbed my hands and bound them together. I offered no risistance, I had probably already killed someone on impact and there was no need for more death. They forced me to walk. When I complied they were less forceful. I walked into one of the vehicles. They sat me down and the vehicle began to drive away.

Armed guards carefully watched me. After what felt like ten minutes we arrived at a facility. One of the guards motioned me to follow. I walked along several more guards and military looking vehicles. We walked into a building and down several different hallways. They opened a door, released my restraints, and closed the door behind me. The room was very well light and was all white. I walked around the room examining the different items. I must be their prisoner, no it would make more sense that they don't know what to do with me. They were obviously nervious. I walked up to one of the walls. I made a fist and pounded the wall with some force. The walls looked like they were made from white plastic but it was harder than steel. I looked around the room. It was adorned with some white chairs and what looked like a couch. It didn't look like a prison cell. I sat down in one of the large chairs. There was a glass like table in front of me with some magazines on it.

The door slid open and a large creature walked through. I pulled out the large knife I had concealed. The creature came through the door. I was baffled. It was a large dog, but it walked on two legs and was wearing clothing. The animal made a motion with it's paw and the room changed. The white plastic walls re-tracted into the ceiling revealing floor to ceiling large glass wndows with a beuatiful view of the sunset. I then seen that the animal was a large white wolf. The animal began to get scared as it seen the knife in my hand. I waited, the animal did not attack me instead it spoke. "Et vernis kom luk don chang vits?" The animal said cautiously. An animal that walked on two legs wore human clothing and spoke, what the hell kind of place is this? "I'm not going to hurt you." I said cautiously. The animal was awestruck when I spoke. I put the knife back in the sheath attached to my leg. It walked closer. It stared at me with the large blue eyes. It was holding some thing. I relaxed some as I realized the animal would not hurt me. It walked over and looked at my face, then began to croutch down looking all over my body. "Hey. Look!" I said staring at it. I began to point at me. "I need to go to my ship." I said while gesturing something flying in the air. The animal began to mutter and mimick me. "You need to bring me back to my ship" I continued. The animal began to understand what I was saying. "Um kat liknd dom vet nagh tuyo" It said pointing at the chair. I walked over to it. "Sit?" I said while gesturing. The animal nodded. "Kam und net." it said leaving the room. I sat down puzzled at what they wanted.

It was quite some time since I sat down. I picked up the magizine that was on the table and began too look throught the pages. It was full of these animal like creatures. It had clothing, ads for some type of food, and swords and guns. Close to twenty minutes passed before the white wolf came back through the door with another wolf and a calico cat. I got up and they other two jumped back the white wolf held it's ground. It had two black looking things in it's paws. It walked and put them in my hands. I looked at them, the looked like some kind of head set. The wolf pointed at his ear, they were all wearing them. I put them on and a loud beep came from it. After it made different pitched noises and soon stopped.

"Do you think it will work?" the wolf said to the cat. I looked right at them. The white wolf looked at me. "Can you uunderstand us now?" a female voice coming from her. "Yes wow." I said awestruck. The wolf and the cat began to jump up and down. "They work I can't believe it!" The cat said. "What are you?, where did you come from? Why are you here?" The white wolf began to bombard me with questions. "Stop, sit down now and one question at a time." I said motioning to the chairs. They sat down looking at me in awe. "My name is Johanathan Hawke, I come from the planet Earth. I came here because of the satelite that hit our planet." I explained to them. "You got a message? Wow i never thought anything would respond to those!" The cat said excitedly. "What do you mean?" I said. "Well we sent out a few hundred of those to see if there was other life out there, we were right!" He said excitedly. "What are you? I know that you are animals, but why can you talk and walk upright?" I asked. The white wolf began to speak looking at the others as if I were an idiot. "We found the files on your ship and were able to cross reference a lot of your information, that's how we got the translators to work. We are similar to the animals of your planet but are much more evolved. We call ourselves Furries." she concluded.

The Wolf and cat looked at me. "What exactly are you?" the cat said. "You've never seen a Human before?" I half laughed. "No, only our kind." the wolf said. "Are you going to kill me?" I asked them with a serious face. "No not unless you are going to eat us." The cat began to say seriously. "No I won't." I said. "Good now at least I can take off this damn armour!" I said pushing serveral latches to remove the heavy suit. I was wearing a T-shirt and some compression boxers. All three of them watched me, facinated at my every move. I sat back down. "Do you have names?" I asked. "Um not in your language." The white wolf said. "Well it would help me out a lot." I said. "Ok then we will look through your files and will tell you later then." the wolf said. "Thanks" I said. They left the room.

I spent some time in that small room. Eventually They came back. The white wolf spoke first. "Hello Johanathan Hawke." She said. "Just call me John." I said sitting back up from the couch. "So have you got some names?" I asked. "Yep, call me Krystal." she said. "The other wolf is named Red, and the cat is called Sky." she finished. "Good." I said. "So what is your mission?" Krystal said. "I was supposed to land on the planet, then find out if the aliens were peaceful or savage, If they were peaceful I was supposed to learn of the culture and record my findings, then after 1 year I am to return home." I finished. "I see." Krystal said. "Where are you going to stay?" She asked me. "I was going to stay in my ship." I said. "Um well that's not going to be possible." Sky said. "Why not?" I inquired. "Well they seized your ship and are further studying it. It was also damaged when you hit our buildings."Red said somewhat angry. "Oh I'm sorry about that, I tried to land properly but for some reason the landing gear was malfunctioning." I aplogized. "It's alright no one was harmed during the incident." Krystal said trying to reassure me. "Good." I said sighing a breath of release. "We are scientific researchers, we were brought here to study the alien." Krystal said. "Alien? You are the Aliens." I said. "You are the one that crashed on Our planet, that makes you the alien." She said. "I guess you're right." I said. "Wear am I to stay?" I asked. "Well since you are here to study us, and we need to study you, how about you live with me?" Krystal purposed. "As long as you have food, a shower, and a bed." I said. "What you think we 'savages' don't have showers and beds?" She joked. "Sounds good to me." I said getting up from the couch. I followed her out the door. "I don't like him very much." Red said to Sky. "You just met the human." Sky said.
