Chapter 1: Second Chance
"Where am I?" I asked into the dark void I found myself in. I walked for what seemed like hours until suddenly I saw a light on the horizon. I ran towards this light which got brighter the closer I got. Soon I saw I was running through a barren rocky land. I eventually came to a pair of giant iron gates and in front of the gates stood a lone human. As I approched the gates the human turned and glared at me before he spoke "you don't belong here in Eltoran. Turn back at once or I shall slice you in half."
I stood silent. He took a step towards me, his hand reaching down until it was resting on the hilt of what I could only assume was a sword. I was still silent. He took another step towards me as he pulled out his sword, using both hands he rose the sword above his head and was about to bring it down when a wolf jumped down between the human and myself. "Kibaros Stop!!! That is no way to treat our guest. I'm sorry about that, but we must talk you have little time before your rebirth" spoke the wolf.
"Rebirth?" I asked in a curious tone. "The one you loved has been depressed ever since you died, the only thing that has kept her going this long is the child she carries, but I know for certain that there is no life inside the small body, she has prayed to me night and day that you would return. So for the sacrafice you made for her I shall grant you new life, but for this you need a body and I know the perfect one. The one you loved will be your mother" replied the wolf in a friendly tone.
"How is any of that possible?" I questioned. "Do you not know who I am? I am Aliceion, I can make the impossible possible. Although there is something you need to be aware of, one problem with the process of rebirth that I can't control" spoke Aliceion in a serious tone. "And that would be?" I asked Aliceion. "You will lose all your memories of your previous life, knowing this would you proceed with the rebirth?"
After hearing this I was presented two options keep the memories of my old life and never set foot on true earth again, or go through with the rebirth lose all my memories but get a second chance at life. To me the decision was a no brainer and I turned my head until my rose red eyes made contact with Aliceion's arctic blue eyes. "I choose to proceed Aliceion" I replied my eyes not leaving hers. "Very well the time is upon us we shall meet again on earth and know this Kibaros and I shall be watching over you. Now forget everything so you may be reborn...Forget everything" She spoke as my eyes felt heavy and her voice slowly faded as I fell asleep.
