The sun was setting when we arrived at the massive hall. it was extremely crowded. pokemons and humans were everywhere. Screens with the sign 'Pokemon League Conference' were placed in every wall and in the ceiling.

"No wonder the town was nearly empty. You can't spit without hitting anyone." Amadea said. "Why would Team Ater come here? of all places." Keltorie said. Another door was at the other side of the hall, which everyone was squeezing through. As we made through the door, a colossal stadium bewildered our eyes. Rows of seats seemed endless, occupied by hundreds of people and Pokemons.

In the middle of the gargantuan stadium, there was a rectangular piece of land with two man standing on each end of the land. One looked like in his twenties and the other looked like in his early forties. "We are gonna find them in all of this?" Garomun asked with skepticism. I looked around and danger was already present. Mightyenas, Bisharps, Liepards and other dark Pokemons were already in the vicinity, all carrying the mark.

The two men in the middle of the stadium each threw a ball that I've encountered back in the bustling city. Both balls opened and Skarmory appeared on the left side of the land and a Blastoise emerged on the right side of the land. The two men started to shout at their own Pokemons, they seemed to giving them instructions. However, I could not hear what they were saying as they were too far away. The Skarmory flew up into the sky and the Blastoise started to shoot a powerful blast of water at the Skarmory from the cannons in it's shoulders.

"Guys, look at that guy." Amadea said. I looked to the right and a man, couldn't be more than thirty. He was wearing a jet black fleece jacket and a pair of brown jeans. The symbol was placed on the back the collar of his fleece jacket. "C'mon. He'll lead us to the rest of the other humans in Team Ater." I said as I briskly walked, following the man. I soon noticed that I moving too fast for Keltorie, Garomun and Amadea. "Nicarun, will you wait fo- Hey what you doing? Get off me! Stop it!" I heard Garomun' s voice.

I turned around and a bunch of children crowding around them. Playing with Amadea's ears, hugging Garomun's tail and stroking Keltorie's back. As I was about to rush in and help them, a voice came into my head. "Don't worry about us, go on ahead. Don't lose that guy." It was Amadea's voice. I looked at her and she gestured me to carry on.

I continued to follow the man. A few minutes later, I was still following him. Then, he entered into a room, guarded by two Bisharps. Realizing that I couldn't get through unnoticed, I slowly turned away. A Mightyena then walked passed me, he had a bangle on his right front leg. He showed his bangle to the two guards and they let him through.

I looked around the stadium, looking for someone else who had the bangle, that would allow me to get pass through the Bisharps. A Zorua then caught my eye. She was also wearing another bangle that I could use. She walked in the opposite direction from the room and she seemed lost. I followed her, and we went into another room. She was completely oblivious of me entering the room. The room had a few leather seats and a long window, showing the massive stadium outside. The room had the sign 'VIP' on the wall and the from was air conditioned. "Wrong one, darn it." The Zorua said. As she turned around, I lunged at her hit her with a confuse ray. Her eyes widened, looking in all direction. I grabbed her front leg, pulled out the bangle and wore it on my leg.

I left the room and head for the two Bisharps. They looked at me without upheaval and let me through. The room was exactly the same as the one that I was in with the Zorua, except with men, women and other dark pokemons. I stood next to another umbreon. He looked just me except for one big difference, his forehead ring was blue in color. He did not seem to be bothered by me.

The humans were discussing on something. "That Skyarmory would be a good asset" "That Blastoise is also very powerful." "The guy on the left has a Salamance, Skarmory, Rhydon and Walrein. The other has a Blastoise, Electivire, Nidoking and a Machamp." "We will take all of them, put them in the elite, objections? If not, then let's begin." The humans said to all the dark pokemons in the room, including me. "Start the raid. Do not screw this up." The humans then left the room. An Absol's claws glowed red, smashed through the window with a Night Slash. Every dark Pokemon in the room through the window, I had to play along. I jumped through the window with the rest.

Other dark Pokemons around the stadium came charging in as well. The dark Pokemons brought the same onslaught as they did in the forest home. Pokemons and humans running for theirs lives. Houndooms fired flamethrowers the whole place. Honchkrows from the air swooped in and abducted all sorts of small Pokemons.

Tyranitars smashed through the walls on the ground floor. They took the two men on the piece of land in the middle and battled the Skyarmory and Blastoise with ease. I searched frantically for Amadea, Keltorie and Garomun, ran back to the place where we separated.

They weren't there. I looked around, I got very worried. Then I saw an Espeon, Jolteon and a Flareon together running up a set of stairs. I looked beyond and saw another Umbreon. It was the other Umbreon I've seen in the VIP room. 'Oh no, they think that I'm that Umbreon.' I thought to myself. Immediately, I ran after them as fast as I could. I shouted at them, "Garomun! Keltorie! Amadea!" However, they could not hear me due to the explosions Team Ater was creating.

I was chasing after them and they were chasing after the other Umbreon. We all came up into the roof of the massive stadium. " Amadea!" I yelled at the top of my lungs and they heard me, but so did the Umbreon. They all turned around, looking at me. "Nicarun? But I thought that he was you." Amadea said. When she turned around and gasped when she saw the other Umbreon's blue ring on his forehead.

The Umbreon said with a worried voice, "Grand? Tomi? Fallon? You guys are free from Team Ater?" He took a few steps closer and growled, "Who are you all?!" He crouched down, ready to fight. I leaped over Garomun, Keltorie and Amadea and landed a few meters in front of the Umbreon. "You wanna back off, right now." I warned him.

Then, a man came into the roof, he was wearing an opal black long sleeved t-shirt and a blue track pants. He had the letters 'TA' on his t-shirt. He shouted at the Umbreon, "C'mon take them down! Waste them!" "I'll handle him! We'll meet back in the town! Get outta here! Run!" I said to Amadea, Garomun and Keltorie. They ran back down the stairs.

The Umbreon's claws started to glow orange-red. He lunged towards me, but I jumped rammed into him in mid-air. However, his claws scratched my right shoulders. I yelped in pain and fell down, I looked at my shoulder and it was bleeding. The Umbreon was bleeding from the nose.

He bared his teeth at me. "C'mon! Shadow Ball now!! Shadow Ball!" The man bellowed at the Umbreon. I realized that the Umbreon was being commanded by the man. I had to separate him from the Team Ater grunt.

Then, he opened his mouth and a black sphere formed at his mouth. He fired the ball at me. I leaped out of the way, but the Umbreon lunged at me with red glowing claws. His claws grazed my arms as we both landed on the ground, he pinned me down. I cried in agony. I fired a Shadow Ball at him at point blank range. He was sent rolling down half of the stairs.

I ran to him, he was lying face down. He growled in anger as his rings started to change from gold to red, including his forehead ring.

I said to him, "Please, I don't want to fight you, ok? You don't to have to do this."

"I don't have a choice!" He snapped, breathing heavily.

"What are you talking about ?! Just run away from here!"

"And leave my family to rot?! No way!"

"What do you mean?"

"Team Ater took my family away. I have to work for them if I want them safe!"

"Ok look, they took my family away as well. How about this? We help each other, you free your family and I free mine. Ok?"

The Team Ater grunt was at the top of the stairs. "What is wrong with you?! Kill him! Or do you want me to kill you huh?!" The man yelled.

Enraged, the Umbreon charged at the man. He jumped and gave a brutal swipe at the man with his glowing claws. He was sent flying a few meter. The man struggled to stand up after the blow. His chest was bleeding. "I am gonna break you!" the Umbreon growled. However, I held him back. "We have to get out now! This place is falling apart!" I said, looking around.

His rings turned back to gold in color, except for his forehead ring which was turned back into blue. "Ok let's get outta here!" He yelled. We ran down the stairs, dodging pieces of concrete falling from the ceiling, fires were bursting from every direction. We got to the entrance, thick smoke decreased our vision. At last, we got out of the colossal stadium. I looked back and the building was nearly totally demolished.

We went back into the town, exhausted. "We're gonna meet up with my friends. You tried to kill them back on the roof." I said to the Umbreon.

"Oh, I'm sorry." He said.

"Its fine. They'll understand. Their families were taken away by Team Ater as well." I said. He did not respond and walked ahead of me.

"We didn't get a proper introduction. My name is Nicarun." I calmly said to him.

He turned his head, looked at me in the eye and said, "Shadow."
