Packmates

It was a short ways home, and Anawyn usually liked to walk. His stuffed wings weren't much good for flying anyway, and it seemed silly to drive such a short distance. It wasn't like the winter cold would bother him, and it was safe in the Toy District. There was always plenty to look at in the evening, the street especially attractive with a fresh coating of snow. No reason to rush things.

Anawyn, like most of the others who lived in this district, was a living plushie. His body was made of fabric and fluff, sewn together into an approximation of a humanoid osprey. He looked like an oversized toy, and in many ways he was. Though he could think and feel, the magic was still simpler than a real nervous system. Plushies could be ripped apart and put back together, and their minds could be altered in ways that just wouldn't work with normal people.

The osprey plush wandered by the clothing store he usually went to. He was wearing a sleeveless purple hoodie bought from there, something to keep his wings nice and free, and some black short pants. He could use some more pants, and it was tempting to take a look inside, but it would also be nice to get home quickly. He paused by the alley just beyond the store, considering, and that's when a strong arm reached out and grabbed him. He squawked loudly.

"What? Hey, who-?" he stopped as he recognized a brown lupine muzzle, partially concealed in the dark, "Garren? Oh, hey, what're you doing skulking in an alley?" He relaxed a little and grinned, tilting his head curiously.

The brown wolf toy gently pulled him into the alley, growling in a friendly way. There was light a bit deeper in, dim but enough to see by. Anawyn spotted the three other member's of Garren's pack lounging in the small circle of light made by a lantern. They smiled and waved in their various ways. One was a sleek, handsome white-furred wolf, another had a complex gray and brown fur pattern, and the last was actually a dingo who'd had his tail and ears replaced to be more wolf-like. Anawyn waved back to them as they partially circled around him, the dingo stepping in front of the exit.

Garren gave him a grin, "On your way back to your coyote?"

Anawyn took a seat on a nearby crate, nodding, "Mmhmm. So I shouldn't wait here too long, he tends to worry. I haven't seen any of you for a while though, I was starting to wonder why," he admitted. He'd always had kind of an unusual relationship with the wolf, especially since getting together with Indi, the plush coyote he kept as his boyfriend and pet. The wolf was very canine, very pack-based. He got along well with Indi, who he'd met first, but had seemed uncertain what to do with a bird when they first met. Anawyn hadn't really known what to do either, until Garren tried just treating him like, and calling him, a wolf. It had quickly become fun to spend a little time in that headspace and Indi seemed to enjoy it, but Anawyn hadn't felt very lupine for a while now. He'd wondered if that was why he hadn't seen or heard from Garren and his pack for several weeks.

Garren chuckled, "Mmm, we were just deciding on something. I'd sort of been hoping you'd become more wolf-like over time, you know, but it's seemed like you've been getting a bit less."

Anawyn dipped his beak, embarrassed, "Maybe. I think I just haven't had my mind on it much recently. I'm still always really a bird, and. . . I can't just force it."

The wolf walked over and ran his fingers through the osprey's crest, tracing along a seam there, "Oh, I understand. You're just still too bird to really be a wolf, even if you want to be, mmm? Even if the idea of being a wolf, being part of a pack, still excites you."

The bird leaned into the rubbing and licked his beak, crooning. The words were getting him aroused, as he expected them to. He enjoyed the species play a lot, but it was a mindset he had to get into, and just couldn't all the time, "Rrrr, yeah. I don't think I'll ever be more than occasionally lupine," he grinned, though said it rather apologetically.

The wolf smirked at that, and some of the others grinned, tongues lolling, "Oh, I don't know about that. We were actually thinking we should make you part of our little pack. We'd been wanting one or two more, and you fit in better than some of the actual wolves I know. You and Indi both."

Anawyn blinked, "Your pack? Well, that's. . . Really nice, and I like you guys, but I didn't think you'd want an osprey in a wolf pack. . ." He fidgeted, very taken off guard by this. He'd entertained the idea before of course, but it hadn't seemed likely, so he'd never given it more than passing thought.

Garren leaned in, muzzle to beak, "Rrrrr, oh, you're right about that. So, the first thing we need to do is fix the bird problem."

As Anwyn tried to figure out what the wolf meant, two of the others moved in behind and grabbed his arms. He tried to move, but they held him down, their stuffing firmer and stronger than his. Garren knealt down, running his fingers along the bird's plush wingfeathers, "Mmm, most parts of a plush are so easy to alter. Species, gender, even certain parts of the mind, the magic adapts so well to new things."

Anawyn tugged at his wing, but couldn't get it free. He shivered, "You're going to make me into a wolf?" The idea wasn't unpleasant, but once again, very sudden. And he felt trapped, "Why are you doing it this way? We can talk about it, I do like wolves, I'm just not sure. . ."

Garren grinned, wrapping his fingers around the thick feather tightly, "Mmm, and that's exactly why we need to do it this way. I don't want a sort of wolf, I don't want a wolf who sometimes thinks like a bird. I just want a nice always wolf with a personality I get along with. That requires a little force. . . And if I'm going to force you anyway, why not do it now?" his claws slid against the thread holding the feather on, and he yanked hard. There was no pain, but Anawyn felt it snap off just the same, and opened his beak in shock.

The wolf moved to the next one, waiting less this time. He grabbed, and pulled it cleanly off, "I've done it before, once I realized we're all really just toys, and can be changed." He glanced up towards the white wolf, smiling, "Elara is the only one who doesn't remember he was female once. And his mind will gloss over me saying it just like every other time it's mentioned." The lighter wolf seemed not to be hearing or noticing, despite being right there, "See? See how completely he's changed?" Another sharp tug, and Anawyn whimpered.

Anawyn had nine primaries per arm, and they were being pulled off at an alarming rate. Elara, who'd been the one not currently holding the bird down, grabbed a feather on the other side to begin there. The osprey shook his head, "That's not really calming me down. Look, Garren, we're friends. I like you, all of you, but I don't just want to be. . . Remade for you." That wasn't completely true. The thought did cause a cool surge of pleasure along the seam between his legs.

Elara wagged his tail. Anawyn had always faintly wondered about the girly name for him, "Hee, you're just saying that now, you'll be just fine with it when we're done."

Garren nodded as both removed the next set of feathers. Anawyn could get them back on easily enough later, but it was still a little hard to watch them being yanked off like that, "You're still a fairly new toy, you haven't gotten what we are fully yet. That we really are toys. Not just toys, not lesser, but things like this can happen because we were made, and will be remade. It's turning you on though, isn't it? Even if you don't want it to." he grinned, yanking again. One wing was nearly gone now.

Anawyn panted some. He looked up at the gray wolf and dingo-wolf. They both seemed to be enjoying themselves too, grinning, rubbing him gently when they could to try and keep him calm. The bird turned his beak back, "M-maybe a bit. But lots of things cause that, it's not a good reason to do them," he said, though he had a strong feeling he wasn't going to convince the wolves.

Garren just pulled the last of that wing free, as Elara was finishing the other, "You might be right. But there's nothing stopping me from doing this to you. I know I'll enjoy it at the end, and you will too. Up to you if you enjoy it until then."

As the bird's wing was completely plucked, Garren walked around him, coming up behind. His fingers ran down Anawyn's back slowly, then settled around his tailfeathers, "To be honest, I kind of like this part of this. Even if you've got Indi under you, it reminds me why I'm Alpha, and you'll always be under me." He squeezed the tailfeathers together tightly, binding them in his paw. He tugged, but the combined thread strength was more than the wingfeathers had had, and held. He tugged again, and Anawyn could feel the thead stretching. Elara had to hold onto his chest to give Garren some leverage. Anawyn shivered, "Why are you so sure we'll get along? I never knew you'd do something like this. . ."

The thread was unraveling, "Oh, and you won't know right away once we're done. Mmm, the thing is, it's one thing to be forced into this yourself suddenly. Much easier to get you liking it slowly, and with others. . ." There was a snap, then Anawyn whimpered as his tail came completely free.

He wasn't quite sure exactly what Garren planned to do with his mind. He said he still wanted his personality. . . But that he wouldn't remember this? He'd never really studied plush mental alteration. He squawked again as the wolves suddenly brought him down to the ground. The two holding him spread his arms and legs, stepping on them to squeeze the stuffing down and keep him from moving. He looked up to see Garren grinning down at him, "I think I'll go ahead and do all the taking apart first, so you're nice and weak to make the sewing easier. Elara, go get his hands, I'll take the lower talons."

The wolves got down again, feeling over his wrists and ankles for the seams there. Unlike his own soft rubber claws, both of them had hard, sturdy ones. He could feel them pricking and probing his seams, "Doesn't seem like struggling's doing much good now anyway. . ." He muttered.

Garren ran a claw between two of the bird's toes slowly, and Anawyn curled them with a little croon, not noticing until it had started that his other ankle was getting its seams ripped open. Garren curled his claw under the thread, pulling each time until it snapped, and a bit of stuffing pushed out of the widened opening, "Mmm, but if you struggle here, it just makes things easier on me. Not much finesse needed to pull a bird apart," he grinned. Elara leaned down and brought his muzzle to Anawyn's arms, using his teeth to tear at the wrists. Anawyn squirmed and pulled, unable to help himself. As Garren had implied though, he just made some more seams snap for his trouble.

As the wolves tore his seams apart, Anawyn's mind snagged on something else. He forced himself to stop focusing on what they were doing for a moment, though it was hard with his hands and feet quickly losing sensation and connection to his body. He took a deep, if unneeded, breath, "What about Indi?"

Garren perked his ears, "Mmm, Indi?" He slowly pried off the bird's left foot. Anawyn felt it fade, no sensation left as the wolf casually tossed it aside and reached for the other, "Oh, I'm not going to worry about him. I don't need to." Elara chuckled as he tore of the plushie's hand.

Anawyn tried squeezed his fingers, feeling the other hand and foot almost gone as well, "He's not just going to accept me being a wolf suddenly. Even if. . ." He tried to think it through, though the dismemberment made it difficult. He felt his other foot and hand go. Even the untouched parts of his body felt sapped of energy now, and he sagged in the lupine grips, "He likes wolves. . ." He said weakly, "But he'd feel too bad to just accept it."

Garren smirked, nodding at the others to release Anawyn. The osprey fell down with a thump, stuffing falling out of him. Garren crawled on top of him and grabbed the edges of his beak, "We'll just have to see what happens then, won't we? Now, let's get rid of this thing. . ." He curled his claws around the soft beak, tearing it off. Anawyn tried to say something, but he couldn't move it, just feel it slowly pull and strain, then snap free. The wolves left him there, broken on the ground, little working but his eyes.

All four moved a little ways away, somewhere Anawyn couldn't quite see. It was amazing how helpless he felt. Part of him kept trying to come up with ways to escape or stop them, but what could he do like this? He couldn't even do anything when he was whole.

Elara came back before the others, and removed Anawyn's clothes. The wolf grinned as he stripped him down, revealing his fluffy chest and smooth, featureless groin. Elara ran a claw along the seam there, sending a wave of arousal through the broken bird. Then he brought something like a little pouch over and set it down, lining it up with the seam. Anawyn could just barely crane his head enough to see.

"Rrrr, if you're going to be part of the pack, you'll need more than just a seam. More fun for me to play with and lick," he winked. Anawyn realized it was a sheath and sac, white and fluffy. Elara took out a needle and thread, then deftly started sewing. Almost all plushies had a certain natural skill with a needle, and could sew on a new piece of fabric very quickly. With each stitch, Anawyn could feel a little more of his new anatomy connecting. Sensation flowing into it, growing as it became part of him, "Mmm, of course we'll need something to fill it too."

Anawyn's attention was thrown as other wolves grabbed his arms, spreading them and grabbing the wrists. He turned his head weakly, still feeling his fluff-filled balls attaching as the dingo and gray wolf pressed padded hands against his empty wrists. He noticed they didn't match his colors: they were dark gray with white fingers. They both began sewing, talking as they did, "You're going to look a lot better after this. And pads are a lot more fun than fake scales."

The bird couldn't respond, or resist as Garren came up behind again and lifted his head up, "Rrrr, I'm saving the hind paws for later, since I know you like those. You're going to like your new ones even more." Anawyn felt something pushed onto his head, and then the odd prick of more sewing. An ear, he realized.

Elara was nearly done with the sheath, and rubbed it slowly to test the hold. Anawyn wriggled, a bit more stuffing falling from his open face. Rrrrr, that felt good, he hadn't realized what new parts would feel like down there. Garren growled, "Don't tease him while we're sewing, there's time for that later." Elara's ears and tail drooped, and he nodded, removing his paw. Anawyn found himself wishing for more, the pads really had felt nice even during those few moments.

His right hand was starting to gain sensation. The furry fingers twitched when he tried to move them, and then his ear twitched as well. He tried twitching it again, but that got another growl from Garren, "Not until the last stitch. . . there. Now you can play with your cute new ear while I get the other."

Elara sulked away, then came back with a large, fluffy tail. It was gray on the top, and white along the bottom, with dark gray painting the tip. Anawyn's hand was finished, and the other one nearly so. The dingo teased his packmate for being slow as the osprey tested his new fingers more. They felt strange, a little too thick and much too fluffy. Not bad though. Not being able to protest was making it a bit easier to just go along with things, and he was admittedly curious about what this felt like, since it seemed he was getting changed no matter what he wanted.

"Tail next?" Elara asked, tone more submissive now. The other hand was finished, and then the second ear. Garren nodded, releasing Anawyn's head. The bird had enough strength now to at least let it fall gently rather than hard. He was feeling stronger the more they pieces they attached. He turned his ears, angling them then folding them down, testing them and distracting himself.

"Go ahead with the tail, you two get his muzzle on. I want him talking and barking as I get the other paws attached." Garren scritched between the birdwolf's ears, and Anawyn leaned into it automatically before the Alpha wolf let go and padded off. His head flopped down again. The other two followed, presumably to grab the new wolf muzzle.

Elara helped Anawyn into a sitting position, then fitted the fluffy tail up where his feathers had been. His voice was still quiet as he talked, "It's going to be nice having another dominant wolf around. I hope you'll want to do things with me too, once you're done."

Anawyn turned to look at the white wolf, surprised. He didn't feel very dominant right then, with Elara sewing a tail onto him. The tailbase connected and twitched. He supposed he was normally a little more in that position, he did have Indi as a pet. It still never felt all that natural to him though, even when he enjoyed it. Would it as a wolf? His tail began to swish, and Elara smiled, rubbing it.

The other two grabbed and turned his head back around and pressed a gray muzzle to his open face, "Here we go, much better than that old beak." It was white along the bottom, with a black vinyl nose. Each of them took a side and started sewing, connecting the loose fabric once again.

Garren walked the two paws over, holding them up for the bird to see. They were large and floppy, with thick white toes and black rubber pads beneath, "Wolves have the best paws, but you already knew that, didn't you? Imagine how it'll feel to actually have them yourself. Elara, you start on the fur dye." He knelt down and lifted up the limp legs, then stretched them out on the ground, setting both paws against their unraveled ends.

Anawyn admired the soft paws, conflicted inside. He really was starting to enjoy this, the soft new pieces felt really good, and he did like wolves. If it wasn't for that lingering threat of being reprogrammed. . . A whimper came from his mouth, and he felt his face gaining connection again. He held more still, letting them reinforce the stitching before he tried moving his lips. His jaws worked, feeling floppy, and he had too much tongue, "Rrrrr?" he managed, and they all grinned.

Garren slid the needle into the bird's ankle, beginning the sewing. He growled softly as he did, working in slow, even stitches. Elara came up behind Anawyn, and he felt something cool tickle along his back, a stripe of color replacing his own. The magical dye felt like it was being applied via paintbrush. The other two picked up brushes as well and, wagging, began to work on his sides. He yelped as his arms were lifted up, gray slathered underneath.

"Mmm, don't worry about squirming for that, the magic will come out just right no matter what." Garren added a few more stitches, and Anawyn started to feel the paws. Garren slid one hand down and ran his claws along the smooth pads, drawing a squirm from the bird. It was still fairly faint, but already really sensitive. He arched back, toes doing their best to curl as his fur was painted from brown to gray, "Let's just tighten these up a bit more. Can barely tell you were a bird now," he grinned, tugging on the thread to draw the paws up tighter.

Anawyn tried working his muzzle again, "Rrrr, t-this isn't so bad," he admitted, looking down at his paws, tail, and his empty sheath, "Can't you just leave me like this? Leave my mind as it is? I feel a lot more lupine already."

Garren tugged again, getting the seams nice and tight. He leaned slid his fingers down, then rubbed them between the thick new toes, drawing a gasp from the former bird. Anawyn leaned his head back just as the others painted over the brown in gray, leaving his natural white. Garren squeezed on the soft, stuffing-filled paws, smiling as the new wolf whimpered, "Mmm, still not really a wolf though, and I can't have that." Anawyn's ears drooped.

Elara poked his muzzle over Anawyn's shoulder, "We're done back here."

Garren nodded, and stood up, grabbing a small bag. The other two helped Anawyn to his feet, supporting him. He felt a bit unsteady, paws stuffed differently and pads gripping better than his talons had. Elara walked by with a grin, going to gather something else from the supplies. Garren walked up and stroked one of the seams on Anawyn's head, "Mmm, don't worry, this will be over nice and quickly, and then everything will be great."

Anawyn whimpered, and shook his head, "That's not really very comforting."

Garren shrugged and slid a claw between a couple of the threads on the headseam. Almost all of Anawyn's concentration was on that, the feeling of him starting to pull and tug there, but he still couldn't help noticing Elara coming back with a purple rubber dildo. The white wolf wagged eagerly and knelt down by his paws. Garren glanced down, then snapped a seam, "Mmm, Elara is very good with those."

Elara giggled at the compliment, nodding, then slipped a finger into Anawyn's empty sheath, pulling it open. He moaned in spite of himself, a bit of his thoughts pulled from what Garren was doing. The white wolf ran the finger slowly around inside, then brought the dildo up and pushed the base in, spreading it. Anawyn squirmed and groaned, panting in pleasure as it slid down inside. . . And almost missing the next few snaps as his head was opened up. He groaned again, "Please. . ."

Elara started rubbing the shaft, which felt like it had locked into place, his now. Garren used his own fingers, sliding them inside to feel around at the mental stuffing inside Anawyn's head. The former osprey tried to pull away, but the other two still held him firmly. The mix of fear and pleasure was growing, confusing him. Garren spoke softly, "Mmm, ah, here it is. Just one simple piece to pluck out. . ."

Anawyn opened his muzzle to protest again, and then it was gone. Something was gone. He felt. . . What was he? He recognized the wolves around him, but everything was so confusing. Elara's rubbing still felt good, but. . . He felt so empty. How had he gotten here, what was he? Why was his cute wolf white wolf friend rubbing his shaft? He looked over at Garren, eyes wide and not understanding. The wolf tossed a piece of fluff away, then held up another one, "Mmm, don't worry wuffy, this will make things clear." He carefully popped the stuffing into Anawyn's head.

Things started to make sense again, and he relaxed. He looked down to find Elara happily nuzzling and licking his cock. Two of the other packmates were holding him for some reason, but they took a step back, just grinning and wagging. He felt a few quick stitches sewn on to his head, and then Garren reached around to rub his soft belly. Anawyn couldn't quite remember how he got here, but it was always nice to be around other wolves. Elara kissed his tip one more time, then gently backed up, leaving Anawyn still feeling needy.

Garren growled warmly, "Mmm, so, think you and Indi are interested in joining our pack?"

Anawyn's mind filled in the gaps, his fluffy brain ignoring the missing pieces as it made sense of things. He grinned and wagged, nodding, "Of course, I'm not sure why we didn't before. I know he'd love having more wolves around. . . And I can always use more attention myself." He grinned down at Elara, who barked and wagged eagerly.

Garren kept up his rubbing, nodding, "Good, I think you'll fit right in. I'd love to keep you around to play more, but we should let you get back and talk to your yote."

Anawyn looked down at his naked, lupine form. He couldn't exactly remember what they'd been doing, which was a shame since it looked like it must have been fun, but he felt good. He did remember that he'd been heading home though, and that Indi was likely to be worried. They brought him his clothes, the shorts and the hoodie that was oddly sleeveless. He slipped them on, nodding, "Yeah, you're right. I'll bring him over soon though, I bet he'll be cute and eager."

The brown wolf grinned and nodded, "I have a feeling he's going to really enjoy this."

***

Anawyn arrived home just as it was getting dark. He felt a little odd for some reason, but good, nice and energetic. And eager to be part of a wolf pack with friends of his. Actually getting to live with them would be great, and he could only imagine the fun things they could do with six canines together. He grinned as he used his keys to open up the door.

Indi was just inside on the couch, trying to not look worried. He had turned at the sound of the keys, perking up as the door opened. . . And then just staring, muzzle wide open.

Anawyn tilted his head and shut the door, taking a few steps closer, "Rrrr? Something wrong, hon? Sorry I'm a little late, by the way, I ran into Garren and his pack." He reached out and ran his pads along Indi's ears. The coyote looked very confused, peering up at the gray wolf.

"Anawyn?"

The wolf growled a little, "Yes?" Indi didn't seem to know how to respond, so Anawyn walked over to the end table where Indi's collar was sitting. He lifted it up, jingling a bit, "Let's get your collar on." He sat down on the couch and patted his lap, "Come on, you'll feel better with it on." He wasn't sure why the coyote was looking at him that way, but figured he'd say when he was ready.

Indi crawled over and leaned slightly, "Yes sir. . ." He said shyly, still looking at the wolf.

Anawyn slipped it around his pet's neck and clasped it shut, "There, that's better. Now, what's up? You're acting strange."

Indi wagged a bit uncertainly, "Well. . . You're a wolf. A really sexy wolf."

The wolf grinned, "Mmm, true. Is that a problem?" he asked, teasing a bit.

Indi shook his head quickly, "No, not. . . Not really. I mean, I'm not going to complain, it's just really surprising."

The wolf frowned. He was confused again, "Surprising? What else would I be?" he stroked Indi's muzzle slowly, wondering if he needed some of his stuffing replaced.

"Well a-a bird?"

Anawyn grinned, "A bird? I don't think I'd really be a good bird, hon, I'm not very into beaks. I'm just a wolf, like I've always been, and hopefully always will be."

Indi looked down, thinking. He nodded slowly, peeking up again, "You really like being a wolf? You don't want to be a bird or anything?"

Anawyn chuckled and shifted on the couch, stretching out his legs, "Mmm, of course. And why would I want to give up cute paws like these? Paws that could use some attention by the way," he growled gently.

Indi swallowed and nodded, slipping back over to slide under his owner's legs, "Oh, mmm, yes sir. They are really sexy paws." He took them gently in his hands, lifting them up to look over and admire.

Anawyn flexed the white toes as he settled in, watching his coyote. Indi seemed to be acting more normal again, fortunately. The wolf grinned and pushed a rubber padded foot right up against the other canine's muzzle, "Mmm, speaking of wolves, Garren was offering us a place in his pack. I said yes."

Indi mrrred and licked between the soft toes, then raised his big ears, peeking over the soft paw, "Mrrrr? Oooh, I'd love that. I. . . Mmm, I love you, sir." He nuzzled into the paw more, happily, wagging, then reached out his hand. It brushed the sheath bulge in the shorts, and he gasped. He curled his fingers over it, feeling and squeezing.

Anawyn moaned, panting a bit, "Oooh, eager puppy tonight." He shifted, and reached down to undo his shorts, revealing the fuzzy sheath and stiff rubber cock.

Indi stared at it, moving his muzzle down closer. Anawyn grinned, and grabbed him by the collar, tugging him right down so his plush muzzle squished against the shaft. The wolf growled and wrapped his legs around his plush pet as Indi whimpered happily, "Mmm, good boy. I can't remember the last time I had your lips on that."

The coyote briefly gave him an odd look, then nodded and took the length into his soft muzzle, his velvety tongue caressing the shaft.

Anawyn crossed his ankles and pushed up into Indi's mouth, panting as he squeezed his pet's head down right on top of it. The little squirms and moans were so cute, and he felt so good. His soft toes flexed and curled, and he dug his fingerclaws into the couch, gasping.

Indi bobbed his head as best he could, but he was mostly just squeezed down. He didn't seem to mind, it made his lips even tighter around the wolf cock, and he was wagging frantically.

The wolf almost felt like he'd never done this before, it felt so good, so new. He was amazed how fast he was peaking, the rising pleasure growing stronger and stronger, almost too much. He wagged hard, breathing in, panting, arching as the feeling grew. He knew he must have done this before with Indi, but it still felt special, this simple act of pleasure with another canine. As he hit his peak, there was a moment of nothing, then a strong, rushing release, dry but still wonderful. It sent shivers all through his stuffing, and as he lifted up his head and howled, he felt so happy he was a wolf.

As he came down and Indi slowly relaxed, the two canines settled in against each other, cuddling up on the couch with happy wagging and panting. Anawyn was glad to see Indi had gotten over whatever his concerns were before, looking cute and content. It was silly to think a wolf like him would ever be a bird.
