#4 of Mark and Chester

Continued from 'The Game We Play.' Possibly the end, though one could imagine an epilogue with Mark and Chester (and company). Thanks so much for reading, and if you enjoyed it, please let me know :)

The bear and the wolf huddled close to each other. "March, fuckers." Mark held the door open so they could enter. Naked, they wandered down the hall past the male receptionist, who looked at the fox with a cocked eye but said nothing as they continued towards the director's office. "We have an appointment," he called back to the dog behind the desk, who nodded but said nothing.

As they walked, Mark fished Cheste rout of his boxers, holding him gently in his hand. "Knock and enter, guys, they're expecting you." The wolf and the bear looked back at him with frightened expressions, but did as they were told, knocking lightly and pushing the door open as Mark and Chester watched.

In the doorway stood the director, a towering mass of muscle in a suit. The bison grinned ferociously and scooped up both agents in his arms before returning to his office and closing the door, leaving Mark and Chester standing in the hall. "Sooo... rough day," said the fox eventually. "I'm... really sorry. It wasn't supposed to be like this. The agency that I work for, well... times are tough for everyone, and sometimes government agencies compete for advantage. It's pretty inappropriate, but that's only if anyone finds out. And they wanted me, and my brain, to go work for their agency. And they might have killed me, though... probably not. But you never know. So I know I put you in a lot of really bad situations, and probably scared you, and... well... Thank you. I want to thank you for everything you did. Despite everything, you saved the day, and that was all you, Chester."

He set the bull on the ground and aimed the shrink ray at him, quickly restoring his height. The fox stared at his naked body, clearly aroused. "We'll get you some clothes, and compensate you. I've talked to the director... it'll be no trouble to set you up for a while. Anyway," he bowed his head, unable to look him in the eye. "I'll get going. You wait here, and they'll look after you. Thanks again." And he turned to walk away.

Chester firmly put his hand on Mark's shoulder, who flinched. The bull immediately lifted it off. "Hey, you don't have to go," he said softly. "I'm not mad."

Mark spun. "Why wouldn't you be?" he asked with wet eyes. "You have every right!"

Chester leaned towards Mark and kissed him, pulling him into a deep embrace. "You wondered if I was into you? I hope this give you an idea. And I'm going to point out that we never finished off," he added rubbing the fox's crotch through his pants.

"Ahem," interrupted the director. "You can both come in if you want. When you're ready."

Chester stiffened, and Mark smiled thinly. "This is the part where I get in shit. Come on." The pair walked into the director's office.

"Please, sit down." The bison gestured to some chairs. Standing together beside the desk were the wolf and the bear. Chester looked down at both of them, looming, but other than quick glances they held their composure. The bull sat.

"Well the weapon seems to test well, wouldn't you agree?" the director asked, almost on the verge of laughing.

"Yes sir. Beyond expectation."

"Good, good. These two have graciously offered their services in our fledgling espionage branch. I'm sure their director will understand that sometimes people want career changes. I understand you were confronted by that choice earlier today, yes?"

"Yes sir. But I wasn't interested."

The bison nodded. "Good, good. Well, field testing was required, even though it was... unorthodox. Still, good job. You will of course have to liaise with espionage -"

"Sir?" Mark asked, with a puzzled look on his face.

The bison smiled. "Tiny spies," he said with a laugh, "tiny spies. And you. Chester?"

The bull nodded.

"We have an awful lot of paperwork for you to sign relating to this, but... well, what were your experiences like? Is this something you would consider doing from time to time? We can always use more agents, and at least you have experience. I mean, you would have to undergo training, but... it's a job."

Chester nodded, eyes wide, surprised by the offer. "I happen to need a job, and this is something I think I could get to like, yes."

The director laughed. "We know, and," he added, looking at his erect member, "we had a hunch. Okay, it's settled. You two look nervous," he added, looking over at the two agents. "Best thing is to face your fears, and I'm looking for a demonstration." He picked up the bear and the wolf, putting them on the desk in front of him. The wolf sweated, and the bear shook a little. Neither would meet anyone's eyes. The director patted the wolf on the bottom, and he jumped.

Mark raised the shrink ray and pointed it at the wolf, who started to shiver. "How small?"

The bison shrugged, and smiled. "Show me what you can do." The fox smiled, and pulled the trigger. Immediately, the wolf began to shrink, smaller and smaller, until he was an inch tall. This time, to his credit, he didn't make a noise, at least until the director poked his finger under the wolf's tail, which elicited a squeak. The wolf moved closer to the bear, who stood over him protectively. "Oh, you two are going to make a great team, I can tell." The director separated the wolf away with his hand, and Mark turned his attention to the bear, who stoically accepted his fate. "Must be weirder for you... what, were you a foot taller than this guy? Now you're the same height," he said he approached one inch tall. Mark manoeuvred the pair together.

"Now I can hit them both," he explained, pulling the trigger once again.

Chester fingered his erection, seeing the pair diminish smaller and smaller, no bigger than peas, then grains of rice, then grains of sand. Mark stopped. "Beyond this it get's a bit dangerous for various reasons, and quite a bit less practical. Honestly, I can't think of many espionage reasons to have anyone this small without sacrificing mobility and survivability, but you never know. At any rate," he said softly, leaning in to see the pair, barely visible, "I think you'd agree this is quite the success." The director nodded, and gestured at Mark, who reversed the process, leaving them at an inch tall.

The bison scooped the pair up. "So, life got exciting for you two, didn't it?" The pair, obscured to Chester and Mark in the director's hand, must have nodded as the bison displayed a warm smile. "Well training starts today. You two stay like this until you adjust to being this big, er small, and to being effective at this size. After that, field training. But until then, I think your new boss will keep you quite safe. I think that's the word I'm looking for, anyway." The bison touched them both the tops of their heads, giving a gentle rub. "God, your dicks are so small now!" He laughed, and if they said anything, it was lost. He handed the pair to the fox, who looked at Chester with a bemused look. The bull continued to fondle himself.

Mark stared at Chester for a moment. "Well. If that's all -"

"You and I are going to have a conversation on Monday," said the director with a frown. "Until then, do as you will."

The fox nodded, and stood up. "Thank you, sir."

The bison nodded, but said nothing as they left.

Mark closed the door. "Yeah, I'm in shit." He sighed.

"How did he convince them to -"

"He can be persuasive. Right guys?" Mark held the wolf and bear to his face. "You two are becoming quite cuddly," he noted as they held hands. "That's cute. Well you have an idea how it's going to be for the next little while. Short term I'll set up a place for you guys to sleep and figure out food and such, and you can just get used to being that small and not feeling like you're immediately going to die, and once it gets a bit less scary, we'll move on to other things. It'll... it'll be okay. I'm still a bit mad, but honestly, as you can see, the director is very good at smoothing things out, and keeping his people safe. Now you're on the team, so expect the same." The pair looked at each other, then nodded. The fox smiled.

"So now we're just waiting for some clothes for you, and we're on our way," said Mark with a nod towards Chester.

"We don't have to wait," he responded, with a sidelong glance at the gun.

Mark smiled broadly.
