Quickly setting the table with the good cutlery and candles, Dizzy surveyed the room carefully, making sure everything was perfect. He had pretended to go to work after booking it off to fool his partner into thinking today was going to be any normal day. However, as soon as he had seen his partner drive off to work, he had snuck back in and began preparing a little surprise. Dizzy never usually had a chance to do anything like this for his partner as he worked later than him, but today Dizzy wanted to make it special. It was Valentine's day after all. The last thing Charlie would be expecting when he got home would be to find the house dimly lit with rosey red candles and a home cooked meal prepared by his husky.
Dizzy had already set the table and got all the candles ready and lit and was ready cooking steak for their romantic meal together. Charlie would be home any minute now and Dizzy was getting excited. Plating up the steak and chips he had prepared, he put them in the oven on a low heat to keep it warm just as he heard the keys in the door. Quickly padding into the living room, Dizzy waited to see the surprised look on his wolf's face. After a bit of shuffling in the landing, Charlie finally padded in with a bouquet of roses and stood at the doorway of the living room, mouth gaping open at the sight before him. Grinning, Dizzy padded up to him, wrapping his arms round him to pull him close and kisses his lips softly. "Happy Valentines day wuffie" Charlie murred softly and kissed back with a warm smile, tail wagging behind him. "Oh Dizzy... This is amazing hun" whispered Charlie kissing Dizzy's cheek affectionately. "There's more too puppy, go quickly get changed and we can have a nice dinner together" Dizzy murred happily before leaning close and whispered softly in his ear "I cooked your favourite" "Mmmmm... Steak... I love you Dizzy..." murred Charlie softly before wagging his tail faster. "I'll be as quick as i can" said Charlie, handing Dizzy the roses as he quickly slipped from the room upstairs. Smiling happily, Dizzy took a sniff of the roses, murring softly at the scent before quickly putting the in a vase and water and putting it on the table with the candles. They really helped set the mood Dizzy thought. Charlie padded back in wearing jeans and a simple button shirt with a happy smile, padding back up to Dizzy to hold him tightly, kissing his lips again softly. "Two years now isn't it?" "Two magical years together my love" Dizzy replied with a sigh of happiness, licking Charlie's muzzle affectionately, making Charlie giggle and nuzzle close. Both canines murred softly, content for now to just hold each other in a loving embrace. "D-do you have anything special planned for... Tonight...?" asked Charlie tentatively with a light blush creeping up on his cheek as he looked up at Dizzy. "Mmmm, I think we can arrange a little something to help make this evening special" murred Dizzy in Charlie's ear, his paw slipping down Charlie's chest to rub his crotch lightly through his jeans, making Charlie whine and quiver against him, his blush deepening noticeably. Nodding, Charlie helped reach down and turn the oven off with him before Dizzy turned back and padded to the living room, flopping down on their large sofa together, snuggling up together. "I love you Charlie" whispered Dizzy, giving Charlie's neck an affectionate lick "I love you too Dizzy" whispered Charlie with a smile and a yawn. "You're always tired afterward" giggled Dizzy stroking Charlie's head softly. "Not tired" said Charlie defiantly with a giggle, his eyes already starting to droop. "Sure hun, I believe you" chuckled Dizzy, softly and soothingly stroking his head. "I'm just gunna... Rest my eyes is all" murred Charlie quietly, his eyes closing and his breathing slowly getting slower and deeper until finally falling asleep in Dizzy's arms. Smiling, Dizzy, softly kissed the top of his head before resting his head down next to Charlie's, curling round him protectively as his own eyes began to droop. "Happy Valentine's day wuffie" Dizzy whispered before slipping away into a blissful sleep.
