First attempt at writing...I have written more, but I'm unsure how I feel about it just yet.
Ice cold wind scorched my face, looking out over the balcony of the castle. A gentle tune playing in my mind_I wasn't always this way, I once stood in this very spot dreaming of life and its wonders, now do I seek to destroy it?_ Footsteps drew me out of my thoughts and I glanced behind me. "Yes?" The soldier glanced at the ground fear and shame in his face. Good, he should be fearful."Begging your pardon Madame, the king wishes to have an audience" The soldier bowed low and scuttled away. As tempted as I was to put a knife in his back for his shame of being afraid of a woman, I did not. Instead with the music in my mind beginning to beat faster, I walked into my rooms, donned my sword and grabbed my bow and its arrows. The war begins with me.
