I hate mornings.

I don't know what it is. Most likely a combination of things. The air bites with cold. The sky dampens my spirits with its dreary colors; and even the sun seems reluctant to wake up to shine its warming light onto Nirn. The blackness of Oblivion that dominated the night seems insistent to stick around, and everything is cold and grey.

The morning seems worse since becoming cursed. My senses all buzz with heightened awareness, even after reverting painfully to my normal form. The chipper birds seem to mock me with their screeching calls, the sounds drilling into my skull. What sunlight has crept into the sky sears my tired eyes, and blinds my vision.

The damp, chilled air manages to seep its way past my tunics and worm its clammy fingertips into my skin. At least my thick coat of fur kept the cold at bay during the night. The cold seems worse on the coast here near Anvil.

My feet are wet, as well. Dew has seeped past my shoes as I stride in the wet grass toward the Anvil gate. The sound of every sloshing step fills my ears for a moment, then all I can hear is the cacophony of birds once again.

I try to ignore it, and make my way into the city, smiling a bit to myself as I notice one of the guards has fallen asleep at his post, still standing, or rather, leaning against the city walls. I'm tempted to awaken him for a moment, but a sudden urge fills me and I hasten my steps. I need to see Del.

This makes the second time since meeting the Argonian that I have left for one of my transformations. So far I don't think he has noticed. Each time I have returned before he has awoken and told him nothing of the previous night's activities. Glancing down at the dragon figurine wrapped in a cloth, the figurine I rescued from the goblins last night, it occurs to me: I have no excuse for having already obtained this.

I wish I could tell Del. I really do. He seems to honestly care about what happens to me, so maybe, just maybe, there's a chance that he would not recoil once learning my secret.

I stop as I grasp the handle on the door leading to our inn, the rough surface tingling across my over-stimulated nerves. Maybe I should just open this door, march up those stairs and tell Del the truth. If he is willing to stay with me, there's a possibility that his training as a mage could give me some clue to find a cure for this affliction. Mages are supposed to be smart, aren't they?

I shake my head and step inside the inn, the floorboards creaking under my feet as I move from the street into the dark building. I give my eyes a minute to adjust, then look around. The innkeeper is still asleep it seems, the lobby completely empty. I start up the stairs, each step vocalizing its complaint under my weight.

Having Del along has been a great experience, even though I sometimes distrust his magicks. He has never used them to harm me. On top of that, he seems genuinely interested in what I have to say during our conversations on the road, and has even confided in me some of his inner thoughts. Not sure if I am the best listener for such things, but he does not seem to care, and even seems to enjoy my feeble attempts at advice on matters of the heart and soul.

I reach the floor with our adjacent rooms and reach for my key in the pocket of my tunic. Reaching inside, I feel the cool metal of two keys. One for my room, one for Del's. If I pull out his key by mistake, is that fate telling me I should go to him?

To Oblivion with fate. I pull one of the keys from my pocket and move to Del's room without even looking, sliding the key into the lock with a soft click as the mechanism accepts the invader. How about that.

I open the door and step inside as softly as I can. Soft breathing whispers into my ears. Del is still asleep, resting on his side with blankets covering him.

As quietly as possible I shut the door and lock it again, then set the key onto the desk occupying one wall of the room. A yellow glow seeps in through the window, illuminating the half of the room containing Del's bed, and leaving my half in shadow. I sit down on the chair next to the bed, and watch Del's rest.

Del stirs a bit as I sit down, some of the blankets sliding off of his scaled body. The almost topaz color of the scales on his chest come into view. His chest rises and falls, breaths coming even and slow. A clawed hand reaches up to his chest and lightly scratches there as his body slowly awakens to the warmth of the sunlight filtering in through the window.

With a soft sigh, Del's ruby eyes glimmer from beneath his eyelids, their bright glow visible, even in the direct sunlight. That same light causes him to slam his eyes shut again, and Del shifts again with a groan before opening his eyes fully, the dark pupils narrowing in the bright light before coming to rest on me.

"Uhhh... Erin?"

I smile, "Good morning. Seems like someone was tired."

He shifts, sitting up now. The blankets pool around his waist, revealing now his belly and the sides of his hips. Seems the Argonian sleeps in the nude. I let my smile widen a bit as the memory of the last time I saw his naked body, drenched in the rain... and other fluids.

"What are you doing in my room, Erin? Is something wrong?" Del brings a scaled hand up to his face, rubbing at each eye for a moment before letting it refocus on me while he asks his question.

I pause for a moment, debating my answer. Technically, yes, something is wrong. Something has been wrong since the moment we met, but I've been too much the coward to say anything.

"Nothing is wrong, I just wanted to see you," I smile as I explain myself, a lie of omission and still a fair bit of truth carried in my words. I let my eyes continue to explore his body. Something about the way his scales reflect the light seems to entrance me in their glimmer.

Del leans back and yawns, sharp white teeth and his reptilian tongue becoming visible for a few moments. The blanket around his waist slides back further and I catch a glimpse of the top of his slit between his legs. My own nethers warm at the sight, and I feel an arousal like I never have before.

Those same heightened senses creep back, I can smell the wood of the room and Del's own unique scent, surprisingly pleasant to me. He smells cinnamon and just a hint of something aquatic that I cant place my finger on. I wonder if the cinnamon is something he wears to mask a natural scent.

I feel suddenly giddy, here's Del, naked, and he doesn't even realize how cute he looks, all tired and uncomposed. I let out a soft laugh, which brings Del's attention back to the moment. He tilts his head, almost like a confused puppy and narrows his pupils. "What's so funny?"

"You."

"Me?"

I laugh again, standing. Before I can't stop myself, I poke Del right in the slit where it's exposed. He jumps back immediately. Sensitive lizard.

"Erin! What in Oblivion?" Sadly, the Argonian regains some degree of shame and covers himself again with his blankets, his claws grasping at the area where I jabbed him. He's still got that confused look on his face though.

"Just thought I would let you know you were poking out. Well, not really 'out', considering. You know, if I didn't know better, I'd say you were a very manly lady lizard." I laugh at my own joke, knowing I'm probably out of line, but I'm not in quite the right state of mind, every impulse that comes to me I seem unable to ignore. It is fun to tease him though.

Del remains silent for a moment, then laughs himself -- full of wispy gasps his laugh is. "Okay Erin, do I need to give you an anatomy lesson or something? I assure you, I am quite male."

Does he think I am serious? I've seen how male he is. I flush a bit though, with the thought of what this 'lesson' could entail. Bravado wins out over trying to feign ignorance though, and the urge to set the Arg straight wins out, "Oh, I know exactly how male you are, Del. Or did you forget the mess you made during the rainstorm the other night?"

"Enjoyed the show then, I take it?" Del replies, not missing a beat.

My heart jumps into my throat. Crap. He's caught me again. He knew. Del lifts a claw to his eyes and taps next to them. "The spell I cast lets me see life forces, even through solid objects. Although you were hidden from me, I could still see your lifeforce, and there's a different... well how do I put it now... let's call it a color; a different color to one's lifeforce who is awake. And yours was quite active, indeed."

Del is looking at me in the oddest way. He's smiling, having won our little verbal sparring match for the moment. I'm at a loss for words. Del, it seems, is not. "Although, I suspect you did receive a better show than I. Auras aren't nearly as interesting as the real thing..." Del's voice trails off as another urge comes over me and I plant a kiss right on those scaled lizard lips. The scales here are smooth, and glide over my own lips.

Del tenses up immediately, and almost pulls away, but the angle is wrong, and he'd only be able to pull away if he fell backward onto the bed. After a second, I can feel him relax as I wrap an arm around to his back and pull him closer. Kissing is tricky business, even when kissing someone with the same shape of mouth as yours. Kissing an Argonian is even trickier it seems. My lips don't really form a seal, and he doesn't even really have lips, per se, just softer scales around the rim of his large mouth.

Doesn't matter though, it feels amazing, and for this instant, all the troubles and worries of the past few days seem silly.

Like all moments in time though, this one ends no sooner than it began, and we pull apart. I'm flushed in the face and feel a sudden wave of embarrassment. I step back, and give Del some space.

"Wow." That's all Del says for a few seconds. Can't say I disagree with him. My lips are still tingling, my legs are shaky, and I feel like someone lit a match between my legs. I've kissed a few boys before, but never felt anything like this. I wonder if Del felt the same.

I decide to ask, "I... I'm not sure why I did that, but I liked it. Did you?" Gods, it sounded much better in my head...

Instead of answering, I feel a clawed hand on my side, pulling me down once again. I close my eyes, and my lips slide against his once again. I just bask in the sensation, my heart beating faster than I've ever known it to even while my life was in danger. Trolls and goblins and raiders are one thing. This is something else entirely.

As we kiss, I remember touching his slit earlier in jest. I want to do it again. So I do. My hand reaches down under the blankets pooled around Del's waist, softly reaching between his legs to find my prize. I'm somewhat shocked when my hand brushes something hard and warm.

Del breaks the kiss with a gasp, leaning back and looking down at my hand invading his space. I rub the back of my palm against what I can only assume to be his penis, getting a groan from the Arg for my efforts. I smile at Del as he looks back at me, our eyes meeting in the dim light of the room.

I pull my hand out of the blankets and grab the end of them, pulling them aside.

I finally get a chance to look at Del unveiled and close up. The light sneaking in from the window dances off his scales in a multitude of colors. Red, auburn, brown, gold, they're all there. his chest and belly are lighter than his back and arms, and the light colors continue down to his slit. His member is now resting against his belly, engorged from our activities and a lighter pink color that offsets against his red scales.

I notice Del smiling at me.

"Better up close?" He asks with almost a whisper, a tremor noticeable in his voice.

"Much." I say no more, and kiss the Argonian again before lowering myself to the floor to have a closer look at his penis. It's not like the few human ones I have seen, it's more pointed, and has a slight curve to it. There are ridges along the underside as well, not prominent, but there nonetheless.

I reach out and grasp it in my hand. It's surprisingly warm, and a bit moist. Not boiling hot like what I feel between my own legs, but still noticeably warm. It's more flexible than I imagined it to be, for some reason I always imagined it would be incredibly rigid, like bone. Instead, I amuse myself by squeezing and rubbing it. Del gasps.

I look up at the Argonian, and see him watching me intently. I press again at the same spot where I made him gasp, right underneath the tip of his penis. His cock jumps in my hand, and he gasps again.

"Feel good?" I try to imagine what it must feel like. I know how much fun my own parts can be when treated right, and it seems I've found a spot that the lizard enjoys. An idea comes to mind, and the impulse cannot be resisted.

I lower my head and lick at the tip of his member. It's a little salty, and seems to me to taste like rain water. Not finding it at all unpleasant, I take the head into my mouth and lick even harder, concentrating on that magical spot I had found.

This gets a reaction. Del's legs tense around me, and I hear his clawed hands tear into the sheets on the bed as he groans out loud. I keep my tongue moving, and wrap my hand around the lower part of his shaft, tugging in time with the movements of my tongue. I use my other hand to dive into my own pants, and begin to make efforts to douse my own fire.

Pleasure shoots through me instantly as I touch myself, heightened by my recent transformation, like all my senses. I let out my own groan around Del's penis as I finger myself. It seems to be swelling and pulsing in my mouth, and I figure it must feel amazing for him.

I'm proven right, as the Argonian's cock swells for an extended period of time, then pulses strongly in my mouth. My tongue is flooded with a rush of hot liquid, tasting not unlike his penis, but stronger, muskier, and far, far warmer. Another blast of Argonian seed hits the back of my throat, then another on my tongue. Surprised, I pull back off, as a sudden irrational fear of being drowned hits me. I watch as his penis shoots out three more strands of white liquid onto my hand.

My own orgasm is not far off. Closing my eyes, I let out a sigh as it crests over me, the fire that had been burning inside me suddenly swelling and exploding into the rest of my body with a surge of pleasure. I grip the still throbbing Argonian flesh harder as it cascades through me, the taste of his seed still in my mouth.

Panting, I slowly come to my senses. Del reaches down a clawed hand and grabs my arm, pulling me up onto him.

We kiss for what seems like hours, but I know mere seconds have passed. I open my eyes finally, and look at Del's ruby gaze upon my own. He smiles, and embraces me again. I feel like I should say something, but as I feel our hearts beating together, with only flesh and my clothing separating them, I decide to just enjoy it. I close my eyes, and we drift off together.

My dreams are peaceful, filled with warmth and soft scales.
