The time Rachel fell and Sky was born
Chapter one
As she ran down the street she blinked back the tears that had been building up behind her eyes. "DAM YOU ALEX! HOW COULD YOU?" She sobbed as she took the antidote to the slime potion Alex had made her take. She felt herself turn slowly back to normal, all the way from her fluffy ears to the bottom of her fuzzy tail. She let out a howl of pain witch quickly turned into a howl of fear as she dropped into a hidden tunnel in the forest. Down, down, down she fell, howling all the way. She let out a yelp of pain as she hit the hard ground of the room at the bottom of the tunnel. She looked around the room. It was bare save for fire sprinklers on the celling. No way out except the way she came in witch was ATLEAST 12 feet off the ground. Trapped. Slowly, so slowly she did not notice it at first a gas crept into the room consuming her. Were the people who built the tunnel and the room trying to kill her? Harm her? Oh, the room was growing fuzzy and a hidden door opened to her left. Slowly she slipped into a crouch and growled, swaying slightly. That person was not going to come near her as long as she was awake and able to defend herself. After all they had gassed her, who knows what they would do when she was asleep? When she awoke she was tide down to a bed, rendered helpless to anyone in the room. The room, she was in a different room. By what she could see this one had a door, and a chair just by the head of the bed. A man walked into the room and sat on the chair observing her. "What do you want?" She growled to the man. The fur bristled on her neck in a slight fear. "You are to join us young wolf." He spoke after a short time. She stared at him like he was insane. "Who are you to say that I MUST join you? I will continue to hold onto my free will and I will NEVER join you!" She pulled and strained against her bounds to no success. The man sighed, why was she being so stubborn? It wasn't like she had a choice. And being one of them wasn't so bad. He looked at her face and saw tears building up around her eyes. "Are your bounds hurting you?" he asked with real concern in his voice. "What would you care if they were?" She spoke quietly, the fight and resistance going from her voice. "Well it would mean a lot to me. I'm not mean and nasty." He looked to the door with that and saw another warden coming along. "With this I leave you with good bye for my shift is done for the day." The man stood and bowed in her direction before leaving the room without another word. The new man that entered was large and scary looking. He had scars up and down his arms and a cold and heartless gleam in his eyes. His eyes were as cold as steel. His arms covered in scars, He was wearing a blue t-shirt and jeans. She stared up at him and began shaking in fear. The man smiled cruelly. "The torture begins now little girl." Ace was sitting in his room when the screams began. That poor girl. He thought. That poor poor girl. He closed his eyes to meditate, the scream of the girl growing weaker and more pain filed as the time drew on. He stood and took off running down the hall, he could not take it. Fang was out of line! He was not permitted to hurt her like this! Ace kicked down the door and stormed across the room. Shoving Fang out of the way he pulled the girl into his arms and cradled her. "Fang! You went too far! The aim is not to KILL HER! Just to persuade her. Nor was the goal to torture her!" He looked down at the girl in his arms sadly. This was diffidently not what was to happen. He knew that she was going to take a long time to recover from what Fang did. There were burn marks across her skin from Fangs magic. And cuts from his knife. She felt someone holding her gently. Someone warm. She curled up in a tight ball against them with soft whimper of pain. Who wouldn't whimper when they were dealing with the pain she was in? Her head hurt, her body hurt. Everything hurt. Mentally and physically. Her gaze was up at the person who held her, it was the first warren, why was he protecting her? What she did not know was his name was Ace, and Ace was soon to become her partner in the Amblin wolves. Ace carried her to the medical center of the place, his jaw set in a grimace of anger. "John! JOHN! Where are you when I need you dam it!" his patience was not in plenty at this time. A well-muscled wolf poked his head out from a bush, a bundle of herbs in his mouth. He dropped them and sprung forwards towards Ace and turned into a tall young man. "What is the matter Ace?" He looked down and saw the girl in his arms. "Oh, she is the problem." He held out his arms to take her, his mind already running over what he could do to help her. Ace handed her over to John slowly, hesitant because he knew john wasn't always the most stable of all wolves. At a smile from John he knew she was more safe here than anywhere else in the Amblin village. Days passed and she learned that the two men's names were Ace and John. John taught her about healing as he healed her, taught her about different herbs and seeds. Ace, Ace for some reason looked ashamed whenever he looked at her. She guessed it was because he left she had gotten hurt when he left her. She wasn't going to tell him yet, but she had talked with John and they agreed she would join the Amblin rogues. It was the best decision for her; after all she could not go back to Alex's house, not after the scene that was made. The next few months passed quickly, what with training and all. She was almost ready for her qualification exam. All she had to do was take Fang down to his knees. Easy right? Wrong! It would be hard. He had skills and things she didn't have, like oh say, magic!! She was so not ready, how could she ever be? Best get it over with now. She pulled her hair up in a ponytail and pulled on pants and a t-shirt. She then slipped a dagger into her belt. She slipped down the hall, her ears perked as she listed for Fangs foot steps. There he was, steady, wait for the right moment, now! She twisted on the spot and leaped at Fang, his face was one to remember. They rolled across the floor growling and snarling, she bit his neck with a snarl, her goal was to get him into the second room she was ever in, the one where Fang tortured her. She had to get him in there alive. She pulled her jaw away from his neck and curled her hand into a fist and socked the side of his head several times. His form went limp under her hands. She slumped him over her shoulder and began dragging him down the hall towards the room. She had timed the attack perfect! It was only a few doors from the room. Oh no, the door was locked she found when she jiggled the handle. She pulled a bobby pin from her hair and began picking the lock keeping one eye on Fang. Ace watched her hanging from the ceiling. She was taking the test? At any rate she was doing good. He ducked into the vent and slithered into the room to wait for her. The lock clicked and she smirked with satisfaction. She opened the door and dragged Fang there. "ACE!" She yelped as she saw him. "What are you doing here?!" Ace smiled at her kindly. "Observing you." He replied. She narrowed her eyes to him. "Why? Why observe me? I'm not interesting or anything." She protested dropping Fang and placed her foot on his chest to keep him still if he woke. "On the contrary, I find you very interesting." He spoke slowly. Just then Kiro, Amblin's ruler, walked in. "You have done a good job little one. Never did I think you would actually take on Fang after what he had done to you. I am very impressed." She smiled a slight bit. This was good. "Now, what is your name young one?" Kiro asked. She blinked and looked down to the ground. "Rachel, Rachel Fear." Kiro blinked, and then he smiled. "Well Rachel Fear. You will have a new name while you are with us. You will be known as Sky Fear and you will be Ace's partner. Do not bother complaining on him being your partner because all recruits must have a partner and my word is law. "
Who, what, where, when, why. At the end of each chapter I will try an answer these questions.
Who is in the story so far. There is Sky Fear, Ace, Alex, Fang, And Kiro. What is the story so far explaining? It is explaining how she came to be a member of the Amblon wolves. Where is Amblon? Amblon is a village under the forest. When did this story take place? It takes place in more of the modern time. I will say it takes place around the 1990's soon to be 2000. (Wink hint nudge for all who bother to read my story.) Why this story line and not another one? Well a friend of mine, the one who inspires me for the character Alex inspired this story with a furry role play that we did. I need some ideas on some types of jobs that Sky and Ace are to go on. Will they go on small jobs like getting cats out of trees or do they need to guard a old friend from the past from one place to another. Any ideas you throw out there will be nice. To mention on a off note. We will be going forward ten years in time and we will meet up with and old friend. Hmm interesting. Till next time Ray Ray (Rachel) out.
