#3 of The Howl From Beyond

Chapter 3

Dani drove the truck away from the recently erupted riot. In the back Brian strapped his guitar in one of the special cupboards, designed so the instruments would be undamaged if the truck had to stop suddenly or went over bumps.

"Are all the instruments secure?" asked Brian.

Rick nodded, "All snugly where they belong."

It was a good thing too because at that moment Dani slammed on the brakes. The tires skidded nosily on the road surface. Brian and Rick were knocked to the ground.

"What the hell!" exclaimed Rick, "Where'd he learn to drive!"

They heard the front doors of the truck swing open.

"Mightyena! Attack with Shadow Ball!"

"Absol! Use Slash!"

The road Dani had been driving down was now blocked by a group of men in uniform. In front of the men stood a few pokemon, all low-level and none of them evolved.

"Halt!" commanded one of the men, "You're under arrest."

"On what charges?" asked Dani.

One of the men stepped forward and took a sheet of paper that had been hidden in his clothes.

The man cleared his throat then read, "Spreading dissent, public disruptions, slandering the king, inciting a revolution and parking illegally."

"That's utter trash," disagreed Daron from the passenger seat, "We didn't do any of that! We were providing entertainment."

"Well we might have parked illegally," reflected Kirsten, who was standing in the cabin behind Dani and Daron, "We don't actually know the laws here."

"We don't have time for this nonsense!" shouted the first man, "You will get out of your vehicle immediately or we will have no option but to use force in order to make you comply."

Kirsten looked over the uniformed men's pokemon and sighed deeply, shaking her head, "This is not going to be pretty."

"If you're going to threaten us like that," stated Dani, "Then there's no chance in hell that we'll obey."

"Then we will use all the power at our disposal," warned the man.

"Don't let me stop you," replied Dani, "But we can spend all day thrashing you without breaking a sweat."

Dani opened the door next to him and Mightyena, who had never been returned after the concert, jumped to the ground. Daron released Absol from his pokeball and then outside in the same fashion.

"Mightyena! Attack with Shadow Ball!" commanded Dani.

"Absol! Use Slash!" ordered Daron.

A ball of black energy shot from Mightyena's open jaws and exploded amongst the enemy pokemon sending them scattering for cover.

"Fight back!" directed the man who had read the 'charges'.

The weak pokemon turned to face their opponents and obey but met with Absol's sharp scythe. The disaster pokemon cleaved through the enemy ranks using both the blade protruding from its head and the one that formed its tail to slice its opponents. Mightyena focused on the humans, growling fiercely, knocking them down and inflicting painful bites. It didn't take long before the men and their pokemon fled, leaving the road clear for Dani. He drove off as soon as possible; Daron's and his pokeballs returning their pokemon with a red beam of light as they moved past.

The Howl from Beyond escaped the city without any further conflict and headed into the desolate woods that they had passed through the previous day. In order to slow down any pursuit Dani made everyone turn off all the lights, plunging them into darkness, as he relied on Mightyena's night vision to navigate. Once they were what he deemed a suitable distance away from the city he stopped the truck so that the band could talk and assess their situation.

"Alright guys, now what do we do?" asked Dani.

"I guess it's safe to say the tour's over, huh?" commented Rick.

Dani nodded sadly.

"If we are even seen they'll try to arrest us," Daron reminded everyone, "No matter what we do now we're going to have to be extremely careful."

"Home," Rei said expressionlessly.

"She's right," agreed Kirsten, "We need to get back to the land where we belong."

"I'm all for that but there's no road going home," interrupted Dani, "Don't forget this is a new continent. Only Brian's charizard can fly and he isn't able to carry all of us or the truck, not to mention we don't even have the slightest idea which direction to go and how far it is until we get home."

"We need to find a boat," declared Rick, "Then we can sail away from here."

"We could make a boat," stated Brian, trying to encourage everyone, "It can't be that hard."

"And the truck?" asked Dani, "I suppose we can make a boat that can carry it."

"We'll have to leave the truck," Brian answered, averting his gaze.

"We can't leave the truck! This is our whole life."

"It can all be replaced," argued Brian, "If we stay here there's no guarantee we won't be arrested. We've beaten all the pokemon that have been used against us but that doesn't mean they are all that weak."

"I'd like to know how you plan to replace our truck and instruments with no money," shot back Dani, "Need I remind you we haven't exactly made a huge pile of cash?"

Brian had no reply.

"What about the boat that brought us here?" asked Kirsten, "If it's still at the harbour we could get it to take us back home."

"It might work," conceded Daron, "If the boat is still here."

"We don't have much of a choice," replied Kirsten, "We can either try that or do nothing."

"I say we go for it," agreed Rick, "It's our best option at the moment."

Dani debated it in his head a bit, weighing up the pros and cons, but when he saw everyone was willing to do it he decided to go for it.

"We'll try it," said Dani with a sense of finality, "Now let's get some rest tonight."

It took longer to get back to the first town than it had taken to get from it to the second but that was mainly because Dani drove off-road hopefully decrease the chances of them being spotted. They reached the outskirts of the main city and parked as close as they could without being spotted. The buildings that comprised the town obscured the view and made it impossible to see whether the boat was still in the harbour or not from where they were. The only way to find out if they would be able to escape was to physically go in to the town and make sure.

Dani stood outside the truck looking at the dirty town in front of him. A town that might or might not hold a way for him and his friends to escape the awful situation they now found themselves in. He turned around and climbed inside the truck, entered the living compartment and sat on his bed since the small table was already crowded.

"Well we've got to go in to see if the boats still there," said Dani.

"And if it is," continued Kirsten, "We tell them to wait and tonight we sneak the truck to the harbour and we're home free."

"Exactly," confirmed Dani, "That's the plan. But we can't all just wander in."

"So what's going to happen?" asked Rick

"I've decided we'll split into groups of two. But not everyone's going into the town. Two have to stay here to watch the truck while the others are gone. I'll be going into town so Daron you have to stay as you're the only other one who can drive the truck. Kirsten, you'll stay here with Daron."

"Why!" protested Kirsten, "I want to go with you."

Dani shook his head, "I'm not risking you getting hurt out there."

"He has no qualms about us being hurt though," sighed Rick, "I feel so unloved."

"You'll get over it," commented Dani heartlessly.

"I don't want you to protect me because I'm a girl," complained Kirsten.

"I'm not," Dani assured her softly, "I'm protecting you because I care about you."

Kirsten still glared at him for a minute but her gaze softened a bit.

"Please," begged Dani, "For me?"

"Fine," sighed Kirsten, "I'll stay."

"Thank you," murmured Dani but after a moment he was all back to business, "Brian, you'll come with me. Rei, Rick, you two will be together and also go through the city. Any complaints?"

Kirsten shook her head and the rest also didn't have any problems. This was their one chance to get to safety and they were going to take it.

"Alright then, let's go," suggested Dani, "But one more thing. Even if someone else is in trouble don't help them."

"Why not?" demanded Rick, "We can't abandon each other."

"No," answered Dani, "But there's also no point in all getting arrested if only two have to. If you stay safe you can help more from the outside. It's just something we're going to have to do."

"I understand," said Brian, "If we're all tied up no one can undo us but if two of us are tied up someone else take the ropes away."

"Exactly," agreed Dani.

After wishing each other good luck the three groups separated; Kirsten and Daron remaining in the truck while their four friends left to discover whether the ship was still at dock. Before they reached the city Dani and Brian separated from Rei and Rick.

"We're going to have to stay out of sight," Dani informed Brian, "If anyone sees us they'll know we don't belong immediately. We must also keep our pokemon in their pokeballs at all times."

Brian nodded, "Perhaps we're not wanted in this city. They weren't friendly here but nothing bad happened."

"Possible, but I'd rather not take the risk."

The two reached the city and began moving along the outside, making cautious glances down ally ways before dashing past. In areas that seemed to be abandoned they moved deeper into the city, being careful to avoid any major route. After a dangerous run between buildings Dani's foot slipped and he stumbled knocking an empty trashcan over. The bin was made of metal and clanged loudly, the sound echoing in the narrow alley they were standing in. Dani swore under his breath and quickly led Brian around a corner where they waited with bated breath in case anyone came to check what the disturbance had been. Once they were satisfied that no one was going to investigate the noise they continued on their cautious way.

Rick was peeping around a corner while softly moaning to himself, "How the hell are we supposed to do this without being seen? There are hundreds of people all over."

The sound of breaking glass tore his attention away from his grim assessment and he turned to see Rei chipping the remaining fragments of glass out of their pane with a rock.

"What are you doing?" he hissed, "We can't break into people's houses."

"Why?" asked Rei, climbing through the now-open window and dropping silently to the floor.

Rick's angry face appeared at the window, "You know this is illegal? You're going to get us into even more trouble!"

"Espeon says someone's coming," commented Rei without looking back.

Rick immediately sprang inside to void detection.

"Wait a sec," he said once inside, "You don't even have Espeon out!"

Rei let the faintest ghost of a smile cross her face before tossing a clump of dirty rags at Rick.

"Disguise," she said, still searching through the house-owner's cupboards for more fugitive attire.

"Good idea," commented Rick, although the expression of disgust he made looking at the filthy clothes said otherwise.

Both Rick and Rei put on the same kind of clothes everyone else wore, including wrapping a scarf over their heads to hide their dyed hair. Once they were dressed they were almost unrecognisable. They climbed out of the window again and joined the crowds of people on the street without drawing a single inquisitive glance.

"Look at that," whispered Dani excitedly to Brian.

A cart, being pulled by a sad, little ponyta and led by one of the few rich men in the city had stopped right in front of the alley.

"There you are!" exclaimed the rich man, draped in blue robes, speaking to a grubby boy, "You're late! Now I've had to start taking this cart myself. It's completely humiliating. You'll be whipped later for this disgrace. Now take this cart to the harbour. The ship leaves at the end of the day!"

"How're we going to get on?" asked Brian, looking dubiously at the cart of strange fruits.

"If we move quickly we can get under it," Dani told him, already moving toward the cart while crouching low.

Brian followed in the same manner. They climbed under the cart and managed to find a hold under the cart's belly. Dani was there first but took a second longer than Brian as he needed to tuck his long hair into his shirt. The cart moved off shortly after they were secure. No one had noticed anything unusual.

The ponyta wasn't well taken care of and didn't trust human's much. The fact that the boy had no knowledge of how to deal with her didn't help the situation at all. The shout of a man who had glimpsed sight of someone he knew on the opposite side of the busy street startled ponyta badly. She let out a neigh and began bucking and rearing. The boy was clueless as to what to do and so jumped up and down yelling at the tiny horse to calm down, however it only served to panic the creature further. With an angry snort ponyta was surrounded by a sudden burst of flame, driving those near her back, she kicked back with both hooves, breaking free of the cart, and bolted down the street. The loud beat of her hooves on the hard surface serving as warning for those that were in her way.

Dani and Brian heard the commotion and fell to the ground as the cart shook from the heavy blow it received.

"Look underneath!" shouted a bystander, "It's the traitors! Call the guards!"

Dani and Brian rolled out from under the cart and summoned their pokemon in a single movement. With the two monsters serving as protection they began to make their way through the crowd in a vain attempt t escape.

"Halt!" called a guard, alerted at first by the ponyta and now the angry cry that had gone up from some of the villagers.

He summoned a mareep which was swept effortlessly aside by Brian's charizard's tail. Other guards joined the moving battle but where no much for either Mightyena or Charizard until there was a loud thud as an arrow embedded itself in a nearby door. Dani and Brian turned to see two men with crossbows. One aimed at Charizard and the second man busy reloading.

"Give up now or we'll kill you and your pokemon!" commanded the guard whose crossbow was raised.

Mightyena and Charizard shifted nervously as Dani and Brian exchanged looks.

"We surrender," muttered Dani as he and Brian returned their pokemon.

Guards then rushed in, confiscating their pokeballs and tying their wrists together behind their back. As they were whisked away Rei and Rick watched helplessly from the crowd. They made a note of the direction Dani and Brian were taken then pretended to continue with what they were doing in order not to draw attention to themselves lest anyone recognise that they were not from around there.

With a flash of red light mightyena was freed from his pokeball. When he reformed at full size he found himself in the middle of a cloud of sleep powder. Completely unprepared he offered very little resistance as he fell into a deep, attack-induced slumber.

Dani and Brian had been blindfolded and led to an unknown, to them, location. They were now sitting next to each other, chained to their chairs, in an almost totally empty interrogation room. There was a table in front of them and a single wall constructed of one-way glass.

"They sure know how to make tourists feel welcome, don't they?" joked Brian.

Dani didn't act as if he'd heard the tense bit of humour but before Brian could inquire further the door to the room was slammed open and a man walked in.

"Where are our pokemon?" asked Dani immediately.

"Silence!" thundered the man, "You come to our land and start a rebellion! You are criminals! Ingrates! Degenerates! You aren't even fit to lick my boots!"

Dani seethed while glaring at the man, "We don't even know about your king!"

The man smirked, "Aren't you lucky then? The king desires to meet you, but before you are taken to him tell us where the rest of your band is hiding."

Dani shook his head, "I'm not telling you a thing."

"And that goes for me too," agreed Brian.

"Very well," responded the interrogator, "We'll still capture them. There is no way they can escape. Normally I would force the information out of you but I'm sure the king will like to do that himself. And there is no way you'll resist him."

The man laughed and left the room the whole time his sounds of mirth filling the room until the door was closed and the sound of the lock was heard.

Mightyena slowly opened his eyes as the effects of the sleep powder wore off. He tried to move since he realised he was outside of his pokeball but found that it was impossible. The fear that then struck him as he realised he was being physically restrained immediately made him fully alert. He strained his muscles but didn't succeed in moving more than a few millimetres. About the only thing Mightyena was able to move was his head and he used that as much as possible while examining the room he was now a prisoner in. He was surrounded by darkness but he was a dark type and it wasn't difficult for his eyes to pierce it and reveal his surroundings. He was in an old-fashioned dungeon; stone walls and floor and chains hanging from the ceiling and various points along the walls. The only entrance to the dungeon was a heavy iron door that was currently securely shut. Mightyena himself was strapped to a wooden structure by strong bands around all four of his legs, once at his ankles and then a second strap just below his shoulder. Although his head was free Mightyena was muzzled with a separate band that had been wrapped around his muzzle a couple of times. Whoever had done it had been 'kind' enough to place a stick between his jaws to keep them slightly open. Since a dog's body is completely covered in fur they can't sweat to keep cool and they need to pant. If Mightyena's muzzle was closed tightly he could overheat.

The echo of a bolt being drawn back resounded in the dungeon Mightyena was tied up in and he looked up as the door opened. The figure that stepped inside was too small to be human but was holding a candle which, after the dimness of the dungeon, seemed very bright and caused Mightyena to wince as the light hurt his eyes.

[So you've woken up,] sneered a pokemon with no trace of sympathy in his voice.

Mightyena growled at the unkind voice and looked to see who had come in. It was a sandslash, standing at roughly the same height as Mightyena and covered with hard armour plating and armed with long, lethal claws.

[Release ... me ...] demanded Mightyena, his speech impeded by the fact he was unable to move his jaws.

[Release you? Why would I do that?] asked the sandslash, [By the way my name's Gobi. Since you'll be my prisoner for a while I think you should know my name.]

[I'll ... kill ... you ...] snarled Mightyena.

SLASH! Gobi's claws raked the top of Mightyena's head leaving two, shallow, red cuts. Mightyena snarled loudly while trying to get loose.

[That frame's designed for stronger pokemon than you,] Gobi informed him, [It's useless to even try.]

Gobi then held Mightyena's muzzle firmly and rubbed his own muzzle up against it, looking into the dog's eyes while grinning slightly.

[Do you want to tell me about your friends now?] asked Gobi.

[No.]

[Very well. Then we can just make out until you fell like talking,] chuckled the desert rodent.

Mightyena's eyes widened as Gobi pressed their lips together and slid his tongue into the helpless canine's maw. Mightyena's hair bristled and his whole body shook as he growled. He bit down with all his strength but although his teeth sunk slightly into the stick between his teeth they didn't go all the way through and nor did he hurt Gobi at all.

[Aww. Didn't you like that?] asked Gobi, feigning innocent surprise in his tone of voice but his eyes told a completely different story.

Gobi began to stroke Mightyena, his paws gliding over the well-muscled body and his claws combing the fur into crisscrossing trails as he continued. Mightyena had no intention of letting Gobi get any further along than he was already but try as he might he was unable to do anything but growl and snarl as he was molested. Gobi's paws slid from Mightyena's back to his hind legs but when Gobi tried to get to Mightyena's ass his violently-whipping tail drove him back with its stinging blows.

[Stop that,] ordered Gobi.

Mightyena paid absolutely no heed.

[Stop it or I'll hurt you badly,] warned Gobi, almost growling himself.

Still the dark grey tail flailed behind its owner, acting as a barrier.

[Stop it!] shouted the sandslash, bringing one heavy fist down on Mightyena's lower back.

Mightyena gasped from the pain the blow brought. unlike the pokemon the band had fought on this new continent so far Gobi was at a high level and since Mightyena was unaware of the attack and had no way to dodge it or lessen the impact he was now suffering from a large amount of pain. Gobi then slashed Mightyena's back causing the unfortunate pokemon to release a strangled bark as his flesh was torn much more deeply than the cuts on his head. Although he was hurting badly and quivering slightly Mightyena kept up his growl, not whimpering at all. Gobi grabbed Mightyena's now-still tail and held it out of the way as he began poking at Mightyena's defenceless tail-hole. Mightyena's ears were laid tightly against his skull as he growled at the unwanted attention. His back was stinging and he could feel small amounts of blood trickling through his dense fur and finally falling to the cold stone under his paws.

"Nine!" barked Ninetails as she jumped into the truck.

"What is it, girl?" asked Kirsten.

"Nine! Nine!" barked the fox indicating with her nose.

"Someone must be coming," guessed Daron.

Kirsten and Daron followed Ninetails outside to where in the distance they could see a group of policemen leaving the city and beginning to search the area.

"This is bad," commented Dani, "If they're searching for us it won't take too long for them to find us. We need to move out of sight until they've gone."

"But Dani and the others are still in the city," protested Kirsten, "We can't leave. We can win and wait here. Then we can leave when everyone's here."

"We can't fight," disagreed Daron, "You heard Dani. We mustn't. We must keep the truck safe. Everyone else will be fine. If we fight we'll only draw more attention to ourselves."

Kirsten knew Daron was right but it wasn't easy to leave. No matter what had been said it still felt wrong.

"Okay. You're right. Let's go," she relented.

Ninetails, Kirsten and Daron retreated into the truck and Daron climbed into the driver's seat. He started the truck up and then drove quietly away, hoping no one would notice. The two trainers kept a nervous watch behind them as they drove for a safer waiting point.

"Don't worry. Espeon will find us," Daron said in order to reassure Kirsten, "There's nothing to worry ... oh damn."

"Huh? Daron? What's the matter?" asked Kirsten, growing more anxious as she saw the expression on Daron's face.

"We were rushing so much we forgot to charge the batteries after the performance!"

Seconds later the truck fell silent and ceased to move. Luckily they had managed to reach the forest and were out of the sight of prying eyes but they were still lost, hunted and in a useless truck with no way to recharge it.

"This is just great," muttered Daron.

Mightyena tensed up as Gobi slowly forced a thick claw into his virgin tail-hole. The dog groaned his unlubricated walls were forced to accommodate an object that was never intended to go there. His breath came in deep gasps through his muzzle as an intense pain emanated from his rear. Mightyena tried to whip Gobi away by using his tail but the sandslash was holding it tightly and it was no use. Gobi pulled his claw out and Mightyena collapsed. However he barely fell before the ties binding him to the bondage frame pulled tight and suspended him.

[It doesn't seem like you're used to that,] commented Gobi,

_Gobi reached for a nearby, unused strap of material and tied Mightyena's tail out of the way. He then walked around in front of Mightyena again.

[Of course if you tell me everything you know about your companions I could be persuaded to stop. What about it? It's your choice.]

Mightyena glared at Gobi, his eyes showing nothing but hate and a desire to kill the ground-type pokemon that dared to touch him in such a way.

[If that's your choice,] sighed Gobi, [You can't say I forced you to do this. Now since I'm so kind I guess I'll lube up my cock. It'll be better for you.]

After saying that Gobi gripped Mightyena's jaws with his strong arms and pulled them as far apart as he could with them sill tied up and then he pushed the stick inside further back to hold them open.

[Much better,] he stated pleasantly.

Now being both forced open and closed Mightyena's jaws were aching but there was nothing he could do about it and nothing he could do when Gobi thrust his hard dick into his victim's mouth. Mightyena snarled at the humiliation attempted to push the offending object out of his mouth by using his tongue. It was a vain attempt doomed to failure from the beginning but not to Gobi who moaned in pleasure as Mightyena's large tongue slipped and slid over his sensitive organ, coating it with a shiny layer of dog drool.

[Too close,] muttered Gobi, pulling out in case he came in Mightyena's mouth instead of his rectum,

Gobi walked behind Mightyena and pressed his dick against Mightyena's pink opening. The tip slid in easily and once the first third was in Gobi thrust hard burying the rest in one quick movement. Mightyena yelped as he was violated and torn apart. A tiny trial of blood trickled from the canine's butt but went unnoticed by both. Gobi didn't care what was happening to Mightyena his only interest at the moment being to achieve as much pleasure as possible at the poor dog's expense. Mightyena struggled, desperate to escape the torture and pain. He felt totally helpless and ashamed as the feeling of Gobi inside him caused his sheath to swell involuntarily. Mightyena whined and cried while Gobi gasped and groaned in pleasure.

[Take it, bitch!] snarled Gobi as he thrust in one hard, final time.

Gobi's body was wracked with convulsions of ecstasy and his cum sprayed inside Mightyena's body. The poor pokemon had never been unable to defend himself, he was a champion fighter. This hurt him deeply; both physically and mentally.

[Good slut-dog,] congratulated Gobi, holding up Mightyena's pokeball, [We've really got to get together again. Unfortunately you're required by the king. Maybe I'll recommend that nice hole of yours.]

Gobi laughed at the ashamed dog as it was consumed in a flash of red light. The bonds fell to the floor; Gobi picked up the candle and left the dungeon. The door closed with a clang and the dungeon became pitch black._
