#1 of Kid Universe

Me and MrFox have been talking about stories with alien species and all that. Now I've decided to start them. This is just an intro, don't worry, Billy is older in the next ones so you don't have to worry about him being underage. Besides....what do they consider underage...out there in the great, big, diverse universe? Anywho, yeah, if you guys have any ideas for more aliens I could use, I'd greatly appreciate them.

Warning: 18+ Naughty Stuff

On the tenth of July, two thousand three hundred sixty eight, a brand new private vessel called a Solar Flare. It was a round, asteroid looking vessel that required the aid of gravity to propel itself. This individual vessel's name was the Shining Star, its name based on the fact that it was suppose to be the first, private, intergalactic ship to leave the Milky Way galaxy. Watching from one of its many viewing windows, Billy would catch the shadow of the ship's spiraling shell which covered the shrinking multi colored marble they were pulling away from; there were more reds and oranges covering the Earth than greens and blues. The small human with messy brown hair and dark pool like brown eyes turned away from the window, just catching a glimpse of the Earth's sparkling moon which was shining with the lights of colonies which were spreading like an infection. He could hear the hum of the energy adapters as they finished absorbing the last rays of the sun that needed. Then there was a short warning beep and the flash of blue lights. Two short jumps later and they were passing by Mars. Again, covered with the same infection of colonies, the red planet not so red anymore...more of a shiny algae green as the teraformers did their jobs.

It was technically a two day trip, well, in a twenty four hour earth day anyway, when they finally reached the other side of the Milky Way Galaxy. Billy grunted as Sam, another human kid with black hair and brown eyes pinned him to the ceiling of the alternating gravity court. He had caught him off guard because...Billy was staring again. Sam was always serious when it came to combat training, "You know you're not going to beat anyone by day dreaming, loser!" Billy struggled to get out of the floating thigh lock the sixteen year old had him in; it was a lot harder to do as they floated away from the ceiling.

As his face turned red and he could smell the sweat coming from Sam's leather and fiber armor training suit, Billy grunted, "I'm not even allowed to fight for another six years anyway...ugh...so why does it matter!?" He suddenly felt his body spinning and then the sole of a boot was forced into his back. Luckily the lack of gravity slowed him down as he headed towards the floor of the big glass octagon surrounded by nothing but white panels. When he did hit, his impact armor dulled some of the blow.

The door of the white room hummed open and Billy ran out, wiping the heavier droplets of sweat out of his damp hair. Sam was soon after him, "HEY! Where do you think you're going?!" he demanded, grabbing Billy by the shoulder. All of a sudden there was another alarm and then a flashing of blue lights. This time, just after the jump, the lights flashed red. Billy felt the adrenaline pump through him as an invisible force pushed him forward. When he felt himself pressed against Sam's sweaty armor with the guy's arms wrapped around him, he quickly forgot where he was.

Everything moved by in a flash when there was a loud roar and a cloud of fire burst through a rupture in one of the inner hulls. Billy felt his feet leave the floor as Sam picked him up and launched them both across the room. He heard a pained snarl coming from the teen cadet as the flames licked along Sam's side.

The command was shouted over the intercom, "Enter nearest escape vessels! Abandon ship!" It was repeated over and over again, even as Billy lay on the floor, struggling to stand. But Sam was on his feet first. Billy couldn't even get a word out as his training partner picked him up by the belt and carried him to one of the big bubble like metal doors on the sides of the ship. When it opened, he was tossed into the small, two person pod.

"Sam!?"

Dazed and lost in the confusion, Billy barely made it to his feet before the door sealed behind him with a loud hiss. There was the scraping of metal and Billy was forced against the wall as soon as the escape vessel was launched into space. Frantic, he grabbed hold of the handle bar near the control terminal and started to punch in keys. It was locked! He couldn't program his destination and he couldn't even turn on the outer lenses to see what was happening to the Shinning Star! Overwhelmed, he started to breathe heavily. The hibernation systems were already kicking in. "No! No! Not yet!" To preserve life support systems, he could feel his heart slowing down and his consciousness slowly fading away. Slowly closing his eyes, he floated freely in the small pod, realizing he wasn't going to wake up until the pod detected other signs of nearby life...

Days later...there was a loud screeching of metal. Billy's eyes were half lidded and open, but he was barely conscious. His skin was pale and his veins showed in places as he slowly drifted towards the floor, an unknown source of gravity revealing it's self. He could hear rough voices speaking through the intercom, but he couldn't respond until he was fully awake and functional.

"Nothing dangerous on board...ready to crack her open..." To Billy, the words sounded like a bunch of stones being tapped together. It was a non Earth language. There was a loud crash and the bending of metal as what might as well been a large crowbar came straight through the door of the pod, bending it left and right. Billy's heart started to beat a little faster as a huge blue, clawed hand with skin that looked like tanned leather reached past the doors, easily scooping him up and pulling him out.

"What in the dark is this thing?" a creature with a blue crocodile looking face with red markings asked another right next to it. As the other one turned around, Billy noticed they had numerous, thick black plates along their backs.

The other alien quickly ran a red scanning line from the device on its arm over Billy's body, "I've never seen one before, but it's mostly oxygen and carbon based. The terminal in the pod it came in says it's coming out of some kind of hibernation..."

As the alien holding him easily rotated him like a rag doll, he felt a chill run up his spine as it lifted his upper armor and lapped at his back with a warm, wet, barbed tongue, "Dang! These things taste good!" He felt the one alien stagger as the other hit him on the side of the plates on its back.

"We obviously can't eat it stupid!"

"Why not!?"

Billy felt a claw gently run up his back, "It has clothes on, that means it's at least a somewhat civilized being! And you can't eat it because it could make you sick, numb shell!" The human still half asleep in the alien's grasp could still only hear the sounds of stones being tapped together; he didn't have a clue what they were talking about. As his body started to wake up, the adrenaline pumped through him and his boot suddenly met scaly alien face!

"OW!" the alien bellowed, dropping the human to the gooey wet floor. His chest rose and fell. The natural fight or flight part of Billy's instincts was forcing him out of hibernation too fast, he was going into shock.

The other alien gave a wobbling laugh, "What's your problem, this little thing really mess you up that bad?"

Rubbing its face, the alien Billy kicked groaned, "They're really tough on the inside..."

The other alien's beady eyes widened, "Uh oh! I don't think it's supposed to be doing that!" Billy tried to fight when the alien reached out to grab him, but his body wasn't doing what he told it to. "Let's get this thing to medical..." The alien then looked down at Billy, "...hold on little...thing..." Billy's head bobbed over the muscular, scaly arm of the alien as it held him in its arms. All he could see and hear were the dim lights of the ceiling that were covered in some kind of algae and the sounds of the alien's talon like feet splashing in the liquid on the floor.

The only thing Billy could think of was, "Where's Sam?" His breathing slowed and he tried to go back to sleep...

Coming soon...
