Ok for those for are 'craving' for a long chapter, here it is. Are you happy now? Because i don't see a reason why the first chapter being short would affect the story. And please be lenient because my English is weak. Please, enjoy.

Meanwhile, in Amadea's point of view

Garomun, Keltorie and I gathered together. Each of us having our own specific stone. Garomun had a firestone, Keltorie had a thuderstone and i had a sunshard. "Are you all ready?" Garomun asked gleefully. "Oh c'mon. I can't wait!" Keltorie said. Even i couldn't hold back my excitement. Then suddenly there was this flash. It strangely didn't hurt my eyes, but i couldn't see anything. After a short while, the flash faded and in front of me stood a flareon and a jolteon. "Guys? You changed?" I asked them. "Hey! Hey! You're an espeon now Amadea!" Garomun responded. I looked around myself. I have pink fur and i'm taller now. WHOA! Then Keltorie smirked,"Hey Garomun, now you look 'hot'! Haha!" The flareon laughed along sarcastically. I was not too happy though, Nicarun wasn't around. "Hey what's wrong? Upset that Nicarun ain't around? He hurt us, remeber?" Keltorie said. However i disagree,"Maybe it's our fault. I mean he did not give us any pressure on what we chose." "But of all choices, why the dark type?" Garomun snapped. "I'm pretty sure he has a good reason. Why don't to his place and ask him? I mean he's still our friend." I tried to reason with them. And they agreed.

We arrived at Nicarun's place and it was nightime. "Nicarun?! You there?!" I called out. Soon a glaceon came to the entrance,"I'm sorry? Do i know you? You all sound familiar."She politedly asked "Ma'am! its us. Garomun, Keltorie and Amadea!" Garomun said with enthusiasm "Oh you lot evolved already. Uh Nicarun's not here. Why don't you come in?" She said with a chuckle. "Oh thank you ma'am" Keltorie said. We all came inside, it was quite nice and cozy. I decided to ask,"Ma'am? I know this is out of nowhere, but can you tell us why Nicarun decided to be an Umbreon?" She gave a somewhat unhappy face but agreed. Then she explained to us about Nicarun's father, Team Ater and Nicarun's goal. "Oh how awful." Keltorie said pitifully. I couldn't hold back and a tear trickled down my face. "Where is he now?" Garomun asked "He said he was going to the lake" the glaceon responded. "Well , c'mon lets get to him." Garomun annouced and we all left. "Tell him that i love him." Nicarun's mother called out to us.

Back to Nicarun

That night I thought to myself at the lake "Ok now, how to become an umbreon? I can't find a moon shard. I remember an alternative way is to be very happy at night. Ok maybe if i think happy thoughts. That could work." So i sat down and thought about my friends. The goods times we had, we tried swimming in the lake when we were really young. Garomun tried to drown me but i was able to get out of the way hahaha.

But then i thought what happened today. They reject me now! "Ughhh!! This is pathetic!" i groaned, i gotta think of something else. Maybe my family would work. So cleared my head, and started to think about my time with my father and mother when i was just a very small eevee. My father put me on his back and ran around the field. We had dinner and he told us all sorts of jokes. Pure golden times. Such happiness, a tear rolled down my face. Then a flash shined into my eyes out of no where. I can't see anything, what is going? " Hello? Anyone there?" i called out. It was starting to freak me out.

Then the flash faded away instantly. I was still at the lake. I felt taller though, did it finally happened? I looked at my arms. They are black, each has a yellow ring on them. I've finally became an Umbreon! It's fantastic! I decided to try out what i could do. I remember reading studying umbreon's abilities. Shadow ball, confuse ray, faint attack, its hard to remember all. I tried the shadow ball, opened my mouth and focused. It's a little bit enegry demanding. Then a blackish purple sphere started to appear in front of my mouth. And soon the sphere dashed away from my mouth and hit a tree. The damage was so powerful! "This is so COOL!" i thought to myself.

Meanwhile, Amadea's point of view

"C'mon hurry up! We can still find him." Garomun yelled as he raced to the lake. "Hey slow down! Seriously, i can't keep up!" Keltorie yelled back. I was able to cope with the pace. I really don't what to say to Nicarun when we meet him. A simple sorry is not gonna cover it all. I didn't know so much pain had scarred his heart. Tell him that we knew what had happened to him? "Hey you three!!" A loud voice we heard and we stopped right on our tracks. I turned around and saw a Weavile and a Liepard stood a few metres from us. "What do you two want?!" Garomun said as he stepped in front me and Keltorie. "Leave the espeon, the psychic will be useless to us. I'll take fire one. You take the electric one." Weavile said with smirk "Fine, but we have to make this quick." the Liepard said. Garomun tried to warn them,"You two better leave us alon-" but he got hit by an icy wind from the Weavile. "Hey! Leave him alone!" Keltorie shouted as she lunged at the Weavile. But the Liepard pinned her down and the Liepard was about attack her with Night slash. Without thinking, i hit the Liepard with a psybeam. The Liepard fell to the side but quickly got up again, its like it didn't hurt much. "Trying to be heroic huh?!" The Liepard shouted angrily. I could see fire in the Liepard's eyes. Now what? I was in real trouble for sure.

Back to Nicarun

I paced around the lake thinking "Where am i even gonna start looking for Team Ater? Far north? Where the humans live? Man, this is so frustrating." Then i heard a small explosion in the distance. Curious, i started moving quickly towards the sound. Then i heard a familiar voice "Hey! Leave him alone!" Its Keltorie! I sprinted across the field towards the sound, and i heard another blast. This was not good. As i was approaching the sound, i saw a flareon badly injured by a Weavile, a jolteon on the ground, and a frightened espeon that is about to be attacked by a Liepard. It's my friends, They evolved, and they're gonna be killed!

As i raced down to them, i charged up a shadowball. As soon as the Liepard heard me coming and turned towards me, i fired the dark orb at the Liepard. It sent the Liepard flying and crashed into the Weavile. The flareon, jolteon and the espeon stared at me in awe, shocked faces. The Weavile and Liepard got up "You want some too huh!?" the Weavile snarled. However, the Liepard held him back,"Hey! We don't have time for this. We have to regroup now." "I'll remember you, better watch out umbreon!" the Weavile warned me and both of them left.

"Nicarun? That you man?"The flareon called me. "Yeah , it's me." i softly said

"You all changed." i said with a small smile

"So you really wanted to be an umbreon?" Keltorie said. I could see a sense of dislike from her facial expression.

I instantly frowned in annoyance,"Yeah, this is my choice ok?! You all hate me now right? See if i care!" I snapped and was about to turn around and leave. Unbelievable! I saved their lives and they are not grateful.

"No, wait please. Nicarun. We now know what happened." Amadea said

I turned my head my looked at them "Really?" I asked them.

"Your father, Team Ater, yeah we know." Garomun said

"Who spilled?"

"Your mom. We saw her earlier today."

My heart started to ache. "Can you now see why i choose dark? I would stand a better chance against them. I got a better defence than the other options." I told them.

Now Keltorie looked apologetic "Yeah, we're sorry. We were unfair to you today."

"Its ok. I'm fine." I told them. I could see Amadea's face lift up. Finally, my relationship with them is restored.

"You know what? After i saw you taking care of those two, i'm starting to think that dark type is pretty impressive." Garomun chuckled.

"Who were they anyway?" I asked them.

"No clue. They just appeared out of nowhere and attacked us. And what did the Liepard mean by 'regroup'?" Keltorie said.

Then Amadea looked up into the sky,"Is that smoke?"

We all looked in the same direction, and then i realised, the smoke is coming from where we live!

I started to think "Two dark-type pokemons, regroup, and the smoke" OH NO.

"We gotta go back! Hurry!" I shouted to my friends as i raced back to our homes.

"Slow down!" Everyone yelled as they ran behind me. But i could think in my mind was "No No Please No"

I finally reached our neighbourhood and i eyes couldn't take what was placed in front me. Every single den, tree, bush, rock.

Everything was burned down! Everyone was gone, either missing or dead. I saw a few bodies of Rattatas, Persians, even a Jigglypuff.

My friends soon caught up with me. "What did this?!" Garomun said with dropped jaws.

"Who would do such a thing?" Keltorie cried

"Guys, over here." Amadea called with teary eyes. She pointed at a particular tree that was not burnt, but had the letters 'T.A' scratched all over it.

I rushed to my home "MOM!!!" I shouted at the top of my lungs. Tears kept rolling down my cheeks. I searched in every corner, around the den, but i could not find her. I was so scared, but I tried to calm myself down and thought to myself "Ok, ok. If she's not around. It would probably mean that she was taken away. I have to get my parents back." My heart was aching so badly.

"Hey guys?!" I called out. "Over here! We're outside the forest" I heard Garomun's voice. I soon met up with them, outside the burnt forest and asked them," Did you all find your parents?" They all shook theirs heads. I could see both fear and anger in their eyes.

"Where are they?" Keltorie asked as she sobbed. "What happened to them?" Garomun worriedly said "What am i gonna do?" Amadea cried as she knelt down.

"They must have been abducted by you know who. Probably the same thing happened to everyone" I said to the them. "How is that possible? huh? You need a big pokemon to carry all of them." Garomun replied with an upset tone. And at the corner of my eye, i saw some large, perculiar tracks and i recognised them. As i walked towards them Garomun talked to me angrily,"Hey! You gonna answer me or not?!" I don't blame him, he'd just lost his family, it would hit him hard. "These tracks here." I replied to him "What about them?!" He snapped. I told him,"These tracks belongs to some Tyranitars. They must have used them to carry all the pokemons." "Hey hang on. They're not dark-types. Can you explain that huh?!"Keltorie said with an aggressive tone. "They are secondary dark-type." I responded. "Hey, why are you two ganging up on me?" I suspiciously questioned Garomun and Keltorie. Then they both "Oh, i'm sorry. I just can't believe this is happening."Keltorie apologized. "Hey i'm sorry too." Garomun said.

"So, what are we gonna do now?" Amadea came to my side

"Follow the tracks, find Team Ater and bring our family back. No, bring everyone back."I tried to comfort them

"We are gonna have to find a new home. This place is beyond repair."Amadea said as she looked back at the forest.

"Then we need to go now if we are gonna catch up with them."Garomun said

"This is gonna be very dangerous."Keltorie started to worry.

"Hey, do you want your family back or not? Do you love your family? You want them safe right? Then you have to go the extra mile for them if you want back. I know that i will." Garomun looked at her face to face and tried build up her courage.

"Then it's settled. Lets go." I announced

We left our old home and thus, our adventures began.
