Regis and Will was about twenty minutes away from their grandparents house; "So have they changed any since I was last here; also what's with them hating you so much" Regis asked Will in a calm voice. "Like seriously a lot of things have changed over the years, people have become more open minded for the most part" Regis also stated in a confused look on his face.

Will put his ears down "well it's not like I told them... They found my laptop open and let's just say they didn't like what they saw and they assumed that all gays were like that... They thought I was what they called a Heathen. They don't speak to me anymore they only buy the food and crappy food for me but good food for them" will hit a stop light "it really sucks Regis... Not everyone is as tolerant as you want them to be, this isn't a perfect world Regis..." and Will sighed heavily.

Regis nodded tilting his head down, "I didn't mean the world is perfect bro but society is changing for the better, at a very slow pace but it's better than not changing at all" Will mutated to himself. Regis sighed softly, "So how old are they now they were in their early fifty's the last time right, do you celebrate any special events with them" Regis asked in a concerned manner.

Will shook his head "nope, I'm alone on my birthday and for Christmas I get coal... Literally coal, and New Year's they tell me to leave them alone and God know what they do... Blegh!" will then giggled and went as the light turned green and went on the highway.

Regis put his hand on top of his little bro's hand, "How far are we from the house now since where on the highway; It sure has changed because the highway wasn't here before" Regis implied looking at Will's face.

Will smiled and looked at Regis for a sec "we're maybe ten minutes now and yeah it sure cuts out a lot of time" Will felt so happy and at peace when Regis put his hand on his, like everything would be ok "thanks Regis, I feel a lot better with you here"

Regis nodded "no problem Will" Regis laughed softly and his ears lifted up as Regis was very happy seeing Will again. "Wow that was quick where always off the highway, seems we cut about thirty minutes travel time" Regis was looking around in the distance. "The neighbourhood hasn't changed much since I was last here, It seems the old tree where the swing that was attached it to it when were growing up hasn't change much" Regis had a big smile on his face reminding himself of all the old memories of him and Will playing together as children.

Will thought of the old memories of them playing tag, even when Regis was so much older than him they would play and frolic "yeah same stuff around here... Good times huh bro? Not to be cliche or cheesy but... I love you" Will said blushing as he rounded the corner into their neighbourhood.

Regis chucked in laughter, "I love you to little bro, how do you want to inform our grandparents of our choices" Regis dropped his ears in a cornered attempt to hide his sadness from Will. "If they have not changed they will just throw us both out; which at the end isn't a issue really because I have the apartment, the best part it's at the lake ten minutes drive" Regis giggled at his photo of Will and Regis cuddling at the park.

Will smiled "oh nice, when did you get that apartment? And ha ha ha very funny... And well, they already know about me and I'm miserable so if you tell them they're just going to do the same to you so once you do just tell them we are moving out, not like they'll care or miss us 'heathens'" Will said spitefully.

Regis nodded "I got the apartment six months before I left college and been paying it through whatever money I had from working here, before going to college I had a savings account" Regis implied. "So shall we head inside" Regis looked into Will, "Are you okay why are you just standing there" Regis asked to Will. Moments later the door of the house swings open. "Regis YOUR HOME" It was the grandmother running out giving Regis a hug.

Will got out of the car "hi grandma and grandpa, good to see you too" he muttered to himself then his grandpa yelled at him "hey mutt, get your brother's things inside!" Will cursed him under his breath and went to get his things out of the trunk of his car.

Regis let go of his grandmother and walked over to Will, he grabbed his paw and walked him over to their grandparents. "We have news to share with you; if it's okay can we head inside and talked about it" Regis and Will along with their grandparents David and Phyllis went inside the house. Regis thought to himself, "Will should be okay and if the grandparents are not well we will have to cross that road when we reach it."

Will put his ears down and walked inside with Regis "y-yeah... We have something to tell you" When they got inside they all sat around the living to listen intently and Phyllis spoke first "what's this all about?" and David said something too "Aww goddammit don't tell us you're a faggot too Regis?! You were our favourite!"

Regis sighed loudly and looked over at Will and nodded, he then turned around looking at his grandparents "YEAH SO WHAT IF I AM WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU TO JUDGE WILL AND MYSELF IF WE ARE GAY DO YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THIS" Regis shouted as loud as he could. He began to walk over to Will and gave him a hug. David and Phyllis stood up and didn't say anything and walked into the backyard and began yelling at each other. "Oh My God we have gay grandkids what the hell do we do now" David shouted. "Well we could always throw them out" Phyllis said in a calm voice.

Will frowned and put his ears down as flat as they would go beginning to cry a little as he heard his grandparents outside "I know we have a plan Regis, but this still fucking sucks!" Will said as he hugged his brother back tightly.

Regis turned around and smiled, "Will it's alright come here" giving Will a hug back. "Go get your stuff so we can go we won't have any need to return, I'll go outside and stall them while you get your stuff together!" Regis smiled with a tear coming from his eye. Regis let go off his brother and walked outside to confront his grandparents while Will prepared to leave his hell for a better future.

Will went upstairs and grabbed a few bags, sniffling as he went through his stuff, taking his most important things and clothes. He found a few things from his parents and held them close "I bet they wouldn't do this to us..." and will put that stuff in his bags too and carried them back downstairs, signalling to Regis he was ready to go.

Regis nodded noticing that Will was ready, "So you hate fags huh well we will not be bother you any more" Regis shouted at his so called grandparents. The two looked at Regis, "Okay fags get the fuck out of our holy house of god you're a disease of god's house David then spat at Regis face. Regis looked at David with such a angry expression, and grabbed David's neck and punched him a good ten times right back to his mouth as hard as he could, "This is what a fag does when you disrespect what they believe in don't throw your bullshit at us!" Regis let go of David and let him fall on his back. "Where both going to be moving into my apartment so you won't need to worry about us anymore" Regis was trying to calm down but was too worked up, "Will where leaving lets go" Regis slamming the door behind him.

Will gasped as he saw Regis pummel our grandfather "Regis, wh-what're you doing?! Will pleaded as the two began to leave... Are you crazy? You just punched our grandfather! He mightn't deserved it but still... Control yourself; you need to be careful Regis!" Will said as they got to his car.

Regis looked over at the house one last time and started to cry as he began to sat inside the car, "Sorry Will but I've had that kind of hate in college and seeing you that upset just lost control for a moment, I'm not normally like that and I'm sorry if I hurt you!" Regis was trying to wipe his tears away from his eyes. "Do you mind if we just leave this place, I don't want to see it again and I'm sure you don't either?" Regis looked away at his brother ashamed of what he did to their grandparents even though they did deserve it and then some.

Will grabbed Regis' paw and rubbed it gently "its ok big brother, I understand, I'm sorry you had to deal with it in college... I wish I could be strong like you and get angry like that... Well not as angry but you know what I mean... Sometimes I feel like all I do is cry and I'm no use to anyone" Will said as he backed out of the driveway and began to leave.

Regis grabbed a piece of paper from his pocket showing the location of the apartment that Will and himself will be staying as they predicted the end result would happen, "Will just follow these directions from the pond we were at earlier today, the number is 381 Blue Berry Cove!" Regis moments later relaxed holding Will's left paw and fell asleep again.

Will did as he was told and followed the piece of paper for every turn smiling as Regis had comforted him and looked at him as he slept at every stop light after the highway "he's so cute... I wish I could tell him how I felt" and Will frowned as he thought of how Regis would react, seeing as how he had a temper on him, he didn't want to end up like grandpa. Once Will got to the apartment complex, he saw how nice it was, a lot more so than he expected and poked Regis awake "hey bud, we are here, it's a cool place, is ours a one room apartment?" Will hoped it was, maybe he could at least sleep in the same bed but he shook the thought from his head.

Regis opened his eyes and rubbed them with his paw, "Yeah this is our apartment glad you found it and no it's a two bedroom apartment!" Regis yawned and slowly stepped out of the car and closed the door behind him, "Will I want to apologize for my behaviour before I'm sorry that you had to see what I did to our grandparents!" Regis rubbed his eyes some more trying to wake up, "So little bro what do you think of the place?" Regis ponded if he thought Will would hate the place he choose 6 months back, "Shall we get our suitcases and head inside?" Regis standing behind the car waiting for Will to open up the back of the car.

Will popped the trunk "yeah it's pretty sweet. Why did you get a two bedroom apartment when you thought it was just gonna be you?" Will said as he grabbed his stuff from the back and headed inside with his brother. They went to the elevator and went to the third floor listening to an annoying tune in the elevator and when they got there Regis opened the door.

Regis walked inside the apartment first and put his suitcase to the side, "I suspected you where different when we were kids bro and I knew from a very early age that I was already gay, saying that I already expected something like this to happen" Regis smiled at Will and showed him to his bedroom. Inside the room was a single bed, a dvd player a small laptop just above his dresser draw. "This place has unlimited wireless internet so just make yourself at home" Regis walked into his bedroom and there was a king size bed with a desktop computer and a small shower in Regis's bedroom. "So what do you think of inside bro we also have a kitchen so we can cook meals" Regis shouted from his room.

Will looked in awe "wow big brother this place us nice, I thought you worked at the mall, they mustve paid pretty good haha" and will began to put his things away and when he was done his husky plushy was on his bed and his parents' momentos were on his dresser. Will looked over to his brothers room to see him still putting his things away and he ran over and hugged him from behind nuzzling his neck "thank you so much brother, for everything"

Regis hugged his little bro back, "No problem little bro" How are you holding up sitting down on his bed pulling Will on his lap and hugging him. "Is there anything you want to talk about Will from what happened at the house?"

Will blushed as he realized he was in Regis' lap "err... Umm... Not really... I was just scared is all, seeing you so angry, it just wasn't like you, I thought I was losing my brother" and Will held him tight and nuzzled his neck.

Regis laughed softly at Will, "I know and no you would never lose my respect little bro, you're my only friend and also family to me and you should always know that I will always love you regardless of what you choose to do with your life!" Regis stated in a very cherry voice. Regis looked over at his clock radio while holding onto Will, "Shit its ten forty in the evening and you have school tomorrow bro go and take a shower and get some rest" Regis got up and went into his bathroom to go take a shower, "Oh and Will welcome home!" Regis went off and closed the door smiling at himself glad to see that Will was finally treated as he meant to be treated like a normal husky for a change.

Will smiled and wished he could follow his brother in there and tell him how he feels and have him make love to him right there, but that was a fantasy and got him hard so he quickly went to his room before getting caught with a boner. Will then got down to his boxers in his own room and thought about all that happened, thinking how happy he was to be reunited with his brother and now living alone with him. Soon he fell asleep, hugging his plushy husky close. He twisted and turned through the night as he had a nightmare and woke up abruptly, sweating and panting "holy shit" he said to himself "damn, now I'll never go back to sleep... Unless..." he then got up and went over to his brother's room and got next to his bed and poked him "hey... Umm Regis? I had a horrible nightmare a was wondering..." and he gulped "if I could sleep here with you?"

"Regis yawned and sat up, "are you okay Will if you need to sleep with me that's okay" Regis moved over to the left side of the bed and allowed Will to get under the covers with him, Regis wrapped his arms around Will, "get some sleep little husky you have a big day tomorrow" Regis closed his eyes and feel back to sleep with his little bro who he cared for so much.

Will snuggled close to his brother nuzzling his neck and licking it affectionately occasionally "thanks big brother, I love you so much" and then Will drifted off to the best sleep he has had in a very long time.
