It was late in the summer and Regis was laying in the grass with his best friend Carlos school was about to begin for Regis, Regis is a bright wolf who was looking into the cloudy ski and was pondering what will happen for his first year high school.

"Hey Regis are you awake?"

"Yeah I am, what's up dude"

"Are you nervous about tomorrow Carlos? It's our first day at Starlight Fur High!"

Regis began to sit up and looks down at Carlos, "Not really sure change will be hard at first but it should be very interesting; So Carlos, shouldn't we be leaving before it gets too late?" Regis asked with a smile. "Yeah sure for sure I need to get organized for tomorrow" As they both leave the park, memories come flooding in off their holiday at Carlos Grandfathers out house were Carlos spends his weekends at.

"Hey Regis, how do you feel about playing some Left 4 Dead on the Xbox 360 later tonight" Carlos asked. "Sorry dude but I need the sleep due to school what about Friday night depending on how things turn out?" "Sure!" Carlos Laughed. They both parted ways.

"SHIT!" "It's 8am, I'm late already go to get organized for my orientation" Regis threw on his pants which were light blue and a pink t-shirt that he wore yesterday, quickly grabbed an apple from down stars and saying by too his mother who was still home. "Hey MR, remember now pay attention to what your teachers say okay" His mother pounded him with useless information, "Mum I get it I know I'll be fine I love you" Regis had to run out the door and begin heading to school before he was to be late.

Thirty minutes later Regis arrived at the front gates off his school unaccounted to him some of the students were already wearing the official uniform, he could see a star shape symbol on the gate entrance of the school, under it quoted it stated. "Moving Forward Comes with a Brighter Future." Regis was only young still and was unsure on what it truly meant.

"HEY REGIS OVER HERE" Carlos yelled near the batting cage, Regis looked at Carlos like he saw a ghost, he began walking over too Will. "Hey dude, did you manage to get your lazy ass out of bed" Regis laughed. "Whatever dude least I didn't turn up in that pink shirt on my first day at school, some people here might think you're a homosexual" Carlos Chuckled and pointed over to the basketball gym. "I believe that's where we meet up for our first orientation introduction of the school"

Minutes later the bell rang and it was time for everyone to head inside for the morning assembly. A large bear walked into the middle off the hall with a microphone in his paw. "Good Morning Students, My name is Principle Johnson Fotis, and this is Vice-Principle Victoria. We are so pleased that everyone was able to attend for this morning's introduction.

Now as you might be aware your previous educational experience too now will be quite different. You will learn many new experiences. As the Principle was speaking, Regis and Carlos were giggling in the background wondering when the introduction was to finish.

Twenty minutes later Principle John was finally wrapping his speech up. Now students you will be learning History, English, Cathartics P.E and there will be a camping trip at the end of the year. Your teachers will give you further information doing the year. All those given a green piece of paper please report too room R83 for your first lessons. You are all dismissed, as John & Victoria left the building; everyone stood up and began slowly exiting the gym. "So that's what they were for" Carlos replied looking in his bag.

As everyone entered room R83, the teacher introduced himself. "Good morning Class, I see you had your orientation with Principle John! My Names is Klate and it's a pleasure to have you all for History. Please quickly take your seats so we can get started. Time quickly went fast for the entire morning until the afternoon where Regis and Carlos were doing Dodge Ball for PE. Their teacher was a tall black wolf, who looked like he was on steroids, everyone was scared of him. "Good afternoon everyone my name is Blake and I'll be your Gym Teacher for this year"

Everyone seemed to be sweeting in fear as if Blake was about to punch someone in the face. "Listen up were here to get fit and not be lazy furs, so we are all going to play dodgeball" Carlos put his paw up, "Sir are you expecting us to throw the balls at our class mates?" Blake looks at Carlos with a disgusting look, "Yep that's the idea of the game, now there are two teams so split up on one side off the court"

After three minutes of getting everyone organized. "BEGIN" Blake blows his whistle. Carlos & Regis were on opposite teams, it was a five on five game; Regis was on the Blue Team & Carlos was on the Red Team.

After a twenty minute game of PE was finally over and the school bell rang. "Well that's all for today class please places the balls in the net, I'll be seeing you all again on Friday for more PE activities" Regis was in the bathroom wiping the sweet off his body... "Oh hey Carlos!" Regis saw the blued dragon in the mirror. "How did you enjoy your first day Regis" Carlos was taking a quick bathroom break before heading home.

"It was interesting I enjoyed PE, that Blake teacher was scary don't you think" They both began laughing at the fact he looked like he was taking steroids. They both walked out of the boy's toilets, they begin walking home. "So did you get any homework or was It just an introduction like today"

Regis was rubbing the back off his head with his paw, "So you still up for that game of Left 4 Dead Later?" Regis was laughing softly, "So you want you rape zombies huh? Sure why not say 8pm tonight? Because I have work until 7:30pm, I'll SMS you when I'm home" Carlos blushed.

"Yeah okay I'll be on Windows Live Messenger, anyways or I should be." They both parted ways, fifteen minutes later Regis got home. "Mum I'm back from school!" Regis yelled while placing his bag down in the kitchen and going through the fridge for something cold to drink. "Oh hello Regis how was school?"

Regis mother was a Dalmatian & Regis father was a Panther. "You're father told me he wants to speak to you about something later when he gets home from work, he didn't say what he wanted to speak about it must not be important" Regis was still drinking a glass of juice he found.

"Oh okay sure well school was great, we played dodgeball and I did my first class of History, it was interesting but slow, due to it being a introduction to the school" Regis picked up his backpack and headed upstairs too his bedroom and closed the door behind him.

Later that evening around dinner time, Regis father came home. "Oh hun I'm home" James took off his black coat and placed it on the couch. "Oh hello dear Regis is up stairs possibly playing on his computer, do you still need to talk to him, do so now because dinner is almost ready" James walked upstairs and knocked on Regis door.

"Son it's your father are you awake still can I come in' Regis was lying down on his bed asleep and realized he was naked and asleep on his bed. "Just a second dad" Regis quickly got up and threw his jeans back on and opened up the door. "Oh hey Dad how was work? Mum said you wanted to talk to me about something what is it?" Regis had a nervous look on his face and he sat down on his computer chair.

"Oh it was nothing serious I was curious on how school went for your first day" As James was standing there in front of the doorway. "It was nothing too interesting, we had our orientation today, we meet some of our students. I did a bit History and PE for today and we played dodgeball" Regis chucked at a inside joke about his PE teacher. "What's so funny?" James was softly laughing at Regis. "Oh nothing don't worry dad" "Oh and by the way son dinner is ready your mother wanted to let you know so wash your paws and head down stairs." And with that James went down stairs to set up dinner.

After a hour of discussion with James and his Mother Kate, Regis looked at that time and it was already 7:30pm at night, he quickly got upstairs grabbed some boxers and began heading into the shower to clean his fur off from his musk.

After the shower Regis walked into his bedroom and closed the door with his bright blue boxers, and discovered a SMS from Carlos on MSN.

(Carlos) - "Hey dude I'm home from work, are you awake you lazy wolf" (Regis) - "Oh hey there, yeah I am how was work?" (Carlos) - "Fucking awful, there was a new manager there for inspection and we had to pretend to work or else we would of got fired T_T" (Regis) - "Yeah of course you had to work, you lazy ass of a dragon, but glad your home now, are you still up for L4D?" (Carlos) - "Sure why not, it will be fun, let's play expert mode The Hotel Level okay" (Regis) - "Ha okay and having idiotic bots trying to help, that will be fun"

Regis switched over to his 360 and turned on Left 4 Dead, and they both began playing. After two hours they both had enough and Carlos got a SMS from Regis at 10:23pm. "Hey dude I'm tired and we need to get up for school in the morning, so good night and great time killing the zombies" Carlos smiled and turned off his Xbox also and climbed into bed wondering what will happen tomorrow for his next day of High School.

This is the first chapter of a High School Series, I'm writing up, it took me around 3 and a half hours to write, so bare with it, any feedback/good or bad are always welcome. If there are editers out there who want a challenge and edit my work, please pm.
