#3 of Illian Mini-Series: The Darkness Within

Hey there everyone, third chapter of the mini-series is finally here. Not sure what to say for this chapter, so I guess I'll end with the normal quote: enjoy.

Water began rushing underneath her feet as she felt the blissful sensation of sand pushing and molding around her toes to turn into the perfect ground for her. Now standing in front of an endless realm of water, the only thing standing between her and this amazing world of blue was the millions of grains of sand around her. Above her, strange white feathered birds with long beaks and deep gullets soared across the gently clouded sky and called to each other as they enjoyed the bliss of this watery realm in the same sense as her. Small, scaly creatures with large unblinking eyes, limbless bodies and short, oddly shaped tails broke the surface of the water now and then to jump into the air and flip back into their unending world. The air itself carried a new scent to her; one that reminded her of rock salt yet at the same time carried a smell that bested even that of the Lily. Turning left and right, she quickly realized that she was entirely alone in this amazing world, but none of that mattered to her. No, the less people that were here the less this outstanding concoction of smells, sights and sounds would ever be destroyed by greed and wrath. For what seemed like an eternity, nothing disturbed her gentle paradise, until a gentle yet strong voice said behind her "You love this place this much?"

Turning around, she smiled, blinked slowly and replied, "Yes love...and when you finally rule over all of Illian...this is where I want our greatest castle to be. Markus, promise me this, for it is the only thing I will ever ask of you in our days on this planet."

Smiling, the icy-blue eyed Malar grabbed her in his arms, swung her around with a merry laugh and answered her "Of course my dear, Illian will not be at my fingertips alone, for everything I have, so do you my love. If you want our castle to be by this endless bounty of water and fauna, then it will be done, but for now, you must awaken my dear."

Eyes widening, she turned her head towards the tall passionate vampire and said "What? You mean that..." And sooner than she had ever wanted, her eyes shot open as the cold ring of steel grinding steel bellowed throughout the halls. Sitting up, she shook her head slowly, looked around the room and sighed as once again she had returned to the hollow halls of Helzingwrong. Standing up and letting the covers of the bed fall beside her, she gently made her way to her large Ebonwood closet and pulled forth her normal assortment of pink panties, as well as a matching bra and dress. This daily routine now known to her like a second nature, she had even managed to slip on a pair of pearl white slippers that embraced and coddled her feet like a feline with her newborn kittens. Once again the sound of steel rang into her room and reminded her bitterly of how she was no longer in her watery paradise. Leaving her room, she began to follow the almost sad ballet of the swords and found herself heading towards the central courtyard. Taking a left when the hallway branched off in two directions, she took a few quick steps and was now in a small hallway that was entirely open on its right side so that one could watch the courtyard as they passed. Its ground covered in a small, dense layer of grass, the courtyard spanned at least 100 feet from left to right and the same from top to bottom, giving it a perfectly square look. In the center of the courtyard, a great fountain made from black marble rose from the ground and from it shot a thin stream of water that ended up falling down upon each of the four levels of the fountain until it finally hit the last level and returned back into the fountain through a small hole in the center structure. Stone benches of a bright white color were found spaced equally around the courtyard so that a passer-by could easily sit down and the night sky from the entirely open ceiling. However, it was currently mid-afternoon, which meant a great wall of Shadow Magic now protected any Malar from the burning rays of the Sky Bane. Once again the song of steel and sparks rang, except this time she was able to hear it in its full intensity and pitch, for its composers were standing right in the courtyard. Entering the square wonder and resting her back against a pillar that helped separate the hallway from the courtyard; she stood with her arms across her chest as the two played their tune.

The swordsman on her left was a man with a long, thick mane of rich black hair, a pair of ice-blue irises in his eyes, long, sharp front fangs and donned in an entire assortment of black clothing with a black vest being the only thing protecting his chest. Standing at a height of 5'8'', this Malar wielded a longsword a color of red even darker than blood and a grin on his face as his opponent tried to strike at him. This she knew within a heartbeat was her love, the Malar King, Markus Frostbane; the only Malar in the long history of the world to become the King at the age of 16. The person fighting him, however, was an entire mystery to her. Donned in a vest of pure white and brown leggings, her lover's combatant was not only of the race all Races of Darkness despised, the Evizil, but he was a rare white-haired one as well. The werewolf's left eye shined brightly with the same icy-blue iris as her lover's, yet his right eye was glazed and gray, lifeless with a scar tracing above it and below it from an old blade wound. Only in his Lycanthrope form, this Evizil stood about two inches above her beloved Markus yet oddly enough chose to wield two shortswords; their blades arching slightly so that they minutely resembled sickles and each of them bathed in Eternal Flame*. Even as she inspected the two, the combatants continued to sing the song of blades and dance the waltz of death, Dark Fire meeting Crystal Tyr with a hollow cry. Watching her King fight was like gazing upon a sky filled with falling stars. No strike was in vain, each connection or swing leading into another that would ultimately lead to his opponent's demise. At first glance, one would say the young Malar wielded his longsword with reckless care and angered ambition, but having her gift, she could see the truth behind his attacks. Yet, as she watched the white Evizil wield those two shortswords against her lover, her heart began racing. The werewolf combined offensive and defensive tactics, never keeping a consistency between the two. His blades were held in a calm, controlled manner, even when her lover had him pressed to a wall; and even despite this there was one thing that caught her attention more than anything else about this Evizil. The longer she kept her gaze on him, the clearer it became that this werewolf was using the magic flowing through him to sustain and amplify his skills. For what seemed to her like days she watched the white haired werewolf in battle, until the two came together in one last gridlock and broke it with a laugh from the two of them.

Smiling happily, her lover turned his head towards her and said to the Evizil "Ah just in time! Markus, I'd like you to meet my queen to be, Tasha Whisperwind." At this, the Evizil turned to her, looked her up and down and cast an image on his face as if he had just seen a ghost.

Noticing this, Tasha's dear King turned back to the Evizil and asked "Everything alright? Have you two met before?"

Shaking her head, Tasha answered truly "I've never met your...friend, save for now, though I have seen him walking the halls with you for the past two months now, am I wrong?"

Laughing warmly, the Malar King replied "You're right my dear and I truly am sorry for not paying as close attention to you as I would like." Patting the Evizil on the back, he continued with "Our friend here is the final part of the Trinity Weapon, so I need to make sure he is ready for when the time comes."

Now surprise on her own face, Tasha looked at the Evizil, back at her love and once again at the Evizil, saying slowly "So then...Uru was right? Then this means that this Evizil is..."

Bowing, the Evizil said casually "Markus Valecruiz Frostbane, though I prefer to simply be called Markus Snow."

Curious, Tasha tilted her head and asked "So if you are my King's counterpart...why forsake your last name? Frostbane has always been a name found deep within our history."

"When I was bitten by the Evizil that turned me into this, the young boy Markus Frostbane died to me. I hold his memories, true, but our paths split and so I see no reason to pose as someone I can no longer be."

Nodding slightly, the King answered for Tasha "I see, well I cannot force my counterpart to accept his heritage; but remember Markus Snow, you will help me in all that I ask of you. Now then, I believe its time for a bit of a meal, then I have something to show you my friend."

Smiling slightly, the Evizil put a hand out in front of him and said playfully "Then by all means, lead the way."

After a meal Markus thought was far too long for what need be, he, his Malar counterpart and the apparently Malar counterpart of Tasha Whisperwind found themselves journeying to the southern-most end of the castle. Now standing in a barely lit hallway, the torches illuminating the place seemingly not changed in weeks, the three found themselves standing before a single oaken door with glyphs and wards plainly inscribed upon its surface. The hairs on the back of her neck stiffening, Tasha turned to the Malar King and said in a shaken whisper "This is a risk, son of..."

With a smile that seemed to hold a dangerous threat within it, the black haired Malar wisped back to her "It will come to pass, my dear. No fear in the world will stop it." Turning his attention to the Evizil, he continued in a normal voice "Markus, my dear friend, you have enjoyed the comfort of Helzingwrong for almost nine weeks now. Now of course, nothing in this world is free, correct?"

Sudden suspicion and fear gripping him, the Evizil answered with a narrow glare "What do you have in mind?" In response, the Malar King laughed, grabbed the knob of the door and turned it, disarming the glyphs and revealing a sight that made Markus cry deep within. The room ahead of him was a massive circular room covered with a pitch black dome roof made of shadow and ebony. The grey walls were littered with blood and the fine trails of Relsinger runes bathed the color of soft lavender. In the back of the room, the hollowed shapes of dead experiments and even worse, the successful ones, cast their glares at the new arrivals, seeking release from their torment or blood between their fingers. Some of the experiments were children that were forcibly GeneShared with animals, one hand becoming an animal claw while the other remained pale and small. Their eyes had lost identity in the attempts and now found themselves a halfway point between beast and sentient, causing them to shun both light and dark. A feline, one that shared the same orange colored fur as his beloved mate, cocked its head at him, causing part of its skin to sag down and some of it to completely fall off. The center of the room was the worst of all, for it was the conduit of these perversions. At least ten feet in length, a massive glyph in the shape of the Malar symbol of the Forbidden Three, the class 7 star traced over by a thin, curling line, was drawn in the blood of innocents with more trails of runes spreading out from the original glyph. This, Markus reasoned, was to allow any sort of perversion, even if it somehow went beyond the realm of the glyph's limits, to be contained within the field. Walking slowly behind the other two, Markus snarled and commented "You sick fiend."

Chuckling happily, the Malar King replied without facing the Evizil "My dear friend, this is only the beginning." Widening his eyes in shock, Markus saw exactly what he meant as two doors on the left and right sides of the room, the left one revealing a vixen with a beautiful red coat and her hands bound behind her back; while the right door, massive in size, revealed a Nixxurath. Its tail flailing wildly, the beast tried to cut open its captives, yet could not for its beautifully evil tail had been cut off at the blade, rendering it useless. Its blue eyes darting left and right, the almost serpent like dragonkin began to snarl, yet his maw was tightly shut. Up and down its body, class five glyphs were made and made again so that a permanent paralysis spell was always in effect. As both the female fox and the Nixxurath were brought into the ten foot glyph, the two beings finally noticed each other, causing the young woman to cry even harder. Thrashing about, but unable to move with cord after cord of rope tied around its body, the Nixxurath tried to claim the fox as a meal, yet came nowhere close to reaching its mark. Continuing to sob greatly, the young woman managed to lift her head and bring about a sense of curiosity at the fact that this being had also been bound. Once the two were firmly in the glyph, the guard that brought in the vixen drew a pentagon in the air, constraining her body in the spot she now stood. Primal fear taking over now, the young woman struggled left and right, too much so to notice that five mages dressed in black robes had taken their places at each of the tips of the star and began casting a unified class six spell.

Breaking his gaze from the sight to look at his counterpart, Markus said as more of a statement than a question "You're combining a woman with a Nixxurath." Nodding his head delightfully, the Malar King pointed once again to the scene in front of them, causing Markus to continue watching with a rising sickness and hatred in his stomach. Finally, the five mages had finished their hexagons in unison and soon afterwards the glyph on the floor began to glow a sickly purplish hue. Both of their paralysis spells wearing off, the fox and the Nixxurath also found that all of their constraints were being destroyed by the combined force of the spell, yet they could not run away. Both of them were slowly being pulled towards each other, no matter how deep the dragonkin's claws sank into the ground or how loud the young fox cried out. In what seemed like hear-piercing and heart wrenching hours as the screams got only louder, the two beings finally touched and from there, chaos ensued. At first, a bright purple flash went off once contact was made, but that only followed the gruesome sound as the Nixxurath began to shrink and entwine with the fox's body. Her screams now becoming dull and raspy, the fox began to wail and moan, her eyes shedding blood as well as water. Her elegant red coat began to harden and paste to her skin tightly, soon becoming crimson, leathery scales. Her soft almond colored eyes began to bloodshot and widen, only to be filled with a never-ending sea of dark blue color. Her mouth began to snarl, revealing rich purple fangs and teeth still held within red gums. And with a sickly ripping noise, a six-inch long tail with a small, arching blade at its end burst through her original fluffy tail. Slowly, the perverted spell finished its completion and the five mages began preparing themselves for another ritual, even though their bodies had nearly reached their limits. The abomination of both fox and Nixxurath collapsed onto the floor, sending two heavily armored guards and a healer her way.

Even as the body was roughly picked up and carried once again through the small door on the left, a Vicen with unkempt black hair and a cruel smile on his face walked up to the three and said happily to the Malar King "It was a success, the two fully combined with each other. Now all that is left is to get her to start breeding before her body rejects the new form and kills itself."

With a nod of approval, the Malar clapped the Vicen on the shoulder and replied "Good work, and if the mages are ready, bring in the Jersai (Jerr-sigh)."

His eyes widening, the Vicen turned to Markus and tilted his head, asking "So this is the one? Sir, we don't even know if the Jersai will accept combination, we should test it on another fi..."

Contorting his face in rage and beginning to draw out Velar, the Malar King answered "Do not question my commands; it appears I am the one in control here, correct? Now bring out that damnable creature and prepare the mages for another combination, I have very little patience." With fear in his eyes and a shaky nod, the Vicen turned back and began yelling at the mages and the men who had brought in the Nixxurath to begin preparations once again. Turning towards the young Evizil, the Malar said gently "Now is the time for you to repay your stay with us, my dear friend." Now Markus's eyes shot wide in disbelief as his counterpart, a man he thought he had begun to trust, was now going to use him as a guinea pig. Overwhelming fear taking him, Markus quickly summoned Vice and Blaze and began moving backwards towards the door. Shaking his head slowly, Markus had managed to make it to the doorway when suddenly his Augment activated and a five star glyph appeared under his white vest. His two shortswords disappearing as they hit the ground, Markus found himself stuck, thrashing desperately.

Deep inside his head, Markus heard the dark, cold voice of Valecruiz laugh and say to him 'You will not be going anywhere, my puppet. This combination will give us power beyond your imagination; do not abandon it so lightly.' Still thrashing while the demon was continuing to tell him of all of the things he will be able to do once they are finished, the Evizil had little time to realize that he was being picked up by a seven foot, muscle bound vampire and carried over to the glyph. It was only when he was placed roughly in a standing position that he realized that he had no where to go. His fears paramount to the point where he was about to lose all sense of himself, Markus finally heard Valecruiz roar inside his head 'You have nowhere to go Markus Snow; your fate in this matter is sealed. The Jersai is a being of Forgotten Sorrows, a dark manifestation of death and misery that follows the will of no god or greater being. Also, it is the energies of this very creature that made the Augments lying deep within you, your counterpart and your brother. Combining with another one will bring your Augment to a whole new level, bringing yourself that much closer to being able to kill the gods themselves.' Markus began to cry defiance to the demon in his mind, only until he saw the large door now in front of him open. Two rows of ten men walked on either side of what Markus believed was the Jersai. In truth, the being had no form to call its own, for it was literally a walking, materialized shadow; more apparition than living being. Instead, the being chose its form based upon whatever it considered was the strongest being it looked upon with its bright golden eyes. Spotting Markus frozen in fear (as well as paralysis) in the glyph, the Jersai appeared to turn into a puff of black smoke before reforming again as a pitch black version of the Evizil. With a smile on its malevolent muzzle, the Jersai motioned for the guards to back away as it began to walk towards the glyph of its own will. Either not noticing that the mages had already begun drawing their hexagon seals or simply not caring, the Jersai continued its march towards the Evizil until it was only two feet away. By that time, all of the mages had finished casting the spell and the glyph underneath the two subjects flashed its sickly light once more. Like with the fox, Markus felt the class five glyph on his chest quickly evaporate into nothingness and began trying to push himself away from the Jersai. A torrent of dark energy began to swirl around the glyph as Markus began to feel himself being pulled into the shadowy being. Breathing heavily, Markus flipped around and even began racing on all fours, yet still he made no progress. The current of the dark winds finally too much for him and the dark creature, Markus managed to stand up and turn towards the Jersai once more before they connected. Grabbing the Evizil's throat, the shadow had simply thought the spell around him to be a show or illusion, causing its eyes to widen as it saw its hand sink into the Evizil's esophagus. Desperately, the apparition began trying to pull its hand back now knowing what was being done to it, only to have its arm sink deeper into the Evizil.

For Markus, once the initial contact had been made, his insides began to burn and fill up as if he were about to die of drowning. Howling in terror and pain, Markus began to feel his body change as the fusion began to take hold. Slowly, the white coat of hair on his body was replaced with thin, black armor-like plating until even his sharp claws were the color of shadows. Agony ripped through his shoulders as three shadowy spikes, each one larger than the other, burst from each one. Four black fin-like blades came out of each of his lower arms, each blade on the different sides of his arms. From both his left and right kneecaps burst forth two, six inch spikes the same obsidian color as the rest of him. Finally, his eyes lost any trace of what they once were and instead became pure purple orbs that raged with fury and malice. As all this took place, the shadowy Jersai sank deeper and deeper into the Evizil until the two became one. Releasing a final how of pain, Markus felt the world go into a subtle abyss.

Tasha had witnessed these experiments many times before and soon enough the sickening process grew on her and she no longer cared. Yet, watching her lover's counterpart thrash and howl as he and the Jersai combined into a single, ultimate being send chills down her spine and disgust boiling in her stomach. Despite this, it was only when she saw the Evizil's drastic change in physical appearance had she truly begun to fear. Grabbing a hold of the Malar King's sleeve, Tasha tugged on it, looked into his icy-blue eyes and said with a tremor "Was this truly the right thing to do?"

Keeping his gaze on the transformation of his own counterpart, the King let his eyes widen and for the first time in his life, he was truly afraid. His voice as calm as he could make it, the Malar King answered with "Tasha...head back into your room, I'll be right behind you." Looking down at her now, he noticed that his fear had been noted by her, and that alone sent her worries spiraling. Accepting no arguments, the Malar King yelled "NOW" and sent her running down the hallway behind them. Pulling out Velar, the King began his advance towards the glyph and as he did so, the torrent of dark energies finally dissipated...

****

Clenching and unclenching his seemingly armor-plated hands, Markus felt the will of the demon within his Augment grow tenfold. With a cold laugh, Valecruiz said to him 'See Markus...feel that unbridled power coursing through you now. This is the strength of the Augment; this is why it is known as a God-Killer. Come my boy, show these fools what happens when you try to control you.' A smile growing on his once Evizil muzzle, Markus found that in this form, the power it granted far outweighed the evil it brought with it. Turning to his left, the God-Killer spotted one of the mages already beginning to futilely attempt to flee. Turning to face the mage, Markus went down on all fours, charged at the tired man and disappeared in a faint cloud of black smoke. The confusion and relief that was filling the mage quickly ended when the God-Killer reappeared in front of him, stood up and grabbed him by the leg as he did so. Holding the mage upside down, all it took was a simple flick of his wrist to flail his body on the ground around him relentlessly. Playing with his new toy and laughing wonderfully as its blood came out over his body and the walls, Markus began twirling his arm in a pinwheel motion in front of him until he heard the poor man's head burst and knew he was finished. Throwing the body against the wall to his left and smiling slightly as he heard it splatter against the hard surface, the God-Killer turned his attention to another of the mages and stopped when he found one of them too frightened to move. Taking no chances in its possible escape, Markus smiled wickedly as he became a blur to everything else and kneed the mage with his right knee in the gut, feeling the spike drive home perfectly. Letting the spike slide out of his body slowly, the abomination felt his pleasure soar as he saw entrails caught on his knee. Even with the poor mage's gut bleeding fatally, he knew his couldn't end his fun now; so grabbing his throat with his left hand, Markus threw the man down on the ground and began his assault. What first started as quick claw attacks to his chest became a brutal feast on his already bleeding gut, causing his face to be littered with entrails, blood and bile. Each swallow of meat and organs brought ecstasy to the God-Killer greater than anything else had before. Yet, like the other, this one had died too quickly for the pleasure to truly be paramount, causing anger to rise inside him as well. Finishing his meal on the man's stomach with a gulp, Markus didn't bother to wipe his face clean as he turned around and noticed his counterpart on his way. As he watched the Malar advance on him with his red Crystal Tyr sword drawn, the anger he felt grew to even higher levels. The man had forced him into becoming what he was, and now he dared to try and end him? With a sadistic smile, Markus rose to face him, held out his left hand in front of him with his palm up and began to concentrate his magics. In this form, there would be no drawing of seals or glyphs to get the results his wanted, no, the magic would bend to his will no matter what cost. Sharp pain rose in his arm as the powers were being forced into creation, but for Markus that mounting pain only brought greater rewards. Finally, the magic did as he willed and a black, pulsating sphere of energy built up in his hand. Bending his fingers so they touched the very surface of the sphere, which took very little as it was now as wide as his palm, the God-Killer took joy in watching the look on his counterpart's face as he realized what he was holding. This magic was not Dark Magic, not Shadow Magic, but Void Magic, a magic based around the energies of the outer space and with the abilities to draw everything into nothingness. Laughing coldly, Markus threw the ball of Void Magic at the Malar, enchanted his legs with a class 2 glyph and jumped upwards, shooting straight onto the outside of the large domed ceiling and slowly beginning his charge out of the city. Within an hour of his escape, the God-Killer found himself heading east, towards the forest region where Scycrain once stood. Looking back Markus let out a rolling laughter as the great fortress city of Helzingwrong was nothing more than a large orb of still growing Void Magic. As he looked upwards, the God-Killer even began to see the wisps of clouds above the city being drawn down towards the magic, giving Markus the idea to name the spell Cloud Ripper.

As afternoon became night and the Blood Moon took its throne in the sky, Markus soon remembered that today he turned the age of 19. When his body could take no more of what he was demanding of it, the black plated demon found himself in the middle of a forest he remembered quite well as the place where Scycrain was found in. His legs buckling under him, Markus feared his spikes would never come out of the ground again, until an ever-climbing pain in his entire body told him he was reverting to his Evizil form. Slowly, in the same manner it had appeared, the plate like skin, the spikes as well as the blades on his arms soon returned into the depths of his Augment and his coat of white hair shined brilliantly against the red glare of the Blood Moon. Looking down at his hands, his knees and the rest of his body, Markus cried furiously as he saw the dried blood caked on his coat. Lying on his stomach from exhaustion, the Evizil began to mutter in between cries "What...what have I become" before the world became a restful darkness once more.

Nearby, the peace of the forest was softly disturbed by the faint giggles of a woman's voice. The closer one would get to these giggles, the easier it would be to see a tall, chestnut colored bunny with her legs locked around a young, well built man with perfectly white hair and keen silver eyes who was kissing her neck. Stroking his mane of unnaturally pearl white hair, the chestnut bunny said with a giggle "My my...you really...know how to...foreplay don't you?"

Laughing warmly, the man understood what she meant and slowly slid his hand up her small red vest and began to gently knead her left D-cup breast. Knowing the bunny had no panties on under her small skirt, for he had taken them off earlier himself, the white haired man found a nearby tree, pushed her back against it and entered her shortly after undoing his leggings. A tingle rushing up and down her spine as the man's seven inch manhood claimed her sex, the chestnut bunny moved up the tree slightly and let out a soft moan of delight. With her legs locked around his waist, the white haired man knew she wouldn't slip, letting him position his head so that he was now suckling on the nipple he had been playing with before with the tip of his lips. Before she could even moan from this, the man quickly slid himself back and began pumping his manhood into her once more, this time slightly harder than before. Her whole body shivering against the thrust, the man knew he had hit the spot perfectly, which meant all he had to do was go faster and take care of her other needs. Letting his tongue twirl around her nipple gently, the white haired man barely had enough time to react before the bunny was pressing his entire head down on her breast in pleasure. Releasing another inner laugh, the man simply continued to lick and suckle on her left breast as he pulled back and thrust in faster, yet just as hard, as before. Now freely moaning in delight, the bunny soon found herself grinding her body in rhythm to the man's movements, causing his manhood to go in deeper and fill her all the more. And with his mouth taking such erotic care of her large, chestnut colored breast, it wasn't surprising that she found her first climax within minutes. Yet, even as her thighs, as well as his, became most with fresh juices, the rhythm continued, beating slowly in and out of her like an erotic drum. Somewhere in all of the love-making, the chestnut bunny never realized that her stomach, as well as her breasts and face, were now pressed against the tree with the white haired man quickly and powerfully treating her backside. For being a whore, as that was what she truly was, these kinds of experiences in the forest were not unheard of to her, but never in her years of prime had she found a man so willing to treat her body the way it was meant to be handled. Once again she found herself reaching a glorious climax, yet to her delight she found her silver-eyed partner had left seed inside her now as well. A slow, agonizing moan leaving her mouth as the human slowly made his way out of her ass, the bunny soon realized that a human no longer was found behind her, but a tall, silver eyed Evizil with coat of hair as brown as the bark on her tree. Tilting her head to the side, the chestnut colored bunny asked with a faint smile on her face "Why would you hide this from me? I am but a simple lover of pleasure and gold."

Grabbing a small pouch from his torn leggings, the brown Evizil replied "Because who was it that pleasured you, my lover of gold, the man or the beast?" Laughing warmly as he understood she did not know what he was talking about, the Evizil simply shook his head, headed west through the trees and said to the bunny behind him "If you ever find the answer, come back here and I'll be waiting." Sighing in relief as he heard her soft footsteps turn away from his direction and not towards, the silver-eyed Evizil continued his way westward, in the direction of the forest edge. Yet from his right, the sound of a body hitting dirt, cries and a noise the Evizil had never heard before, like metal literally sinking into skin, was heard. Against his better judgment, the silver-eyed werewolf turned and followed the direction of the noise until it led him slightly in the direction in which he had come, finding the bloodied body of an Evizil, a man just like him. Rushing and dropping to his knees next to the fallen stranger, the silver-eyed Evizil couldn't help but sit in awe at the oddly white color of the coat this one sported. Flipping the Evizil over to reveal his entire torso caked in mud and drying blood, the silver-eyed werewolf patted the white-coated one down and sighed in relief when he felt no wounds not already on the mend. Shaking the stranger gently, the brown haired Evizil said calmly "Friend, are you alright? What are you doing here; Carin is at least ten miles south and east of here." Hearing a slight groan from the white haired one and a movement of his eyes, the silver-eyed Evizil picked him up, hoisted him over his shoulder and said as he headed back to his own home "My name is Eon, you're with friends now."

Groaning once again, the only thing Markus could recall was the friend's name and the slow, burning malice of Valecruiz beating stronger within his soul.
