"Where are they...?" the small white Pokémon asked to herself out loud as she paced back and froth on the living room floor. At times she would jump on the love seat to look out the window, watching to see even the smallest glimpse of Brandon. When he was out of sight in the house, that was different, she knew he was somewhere, just ether two or three steps to be heard, but not knowing if he was still sleeping, getting up, or on his way now bugged her to no end. Arbok looked up from the small meal she got from the shelf, Brandon always held food like this just in case they got hungry, they each had their own spot, so if they ran out, they would have to wait until he restocked on the day he was paid. "He and that fire bird should've been heard by now!"

"Ren claim down," The Arbok said using the new name the Zangoose wished to be called. Days before, their trainer asked them if they each wanted a nickname, a name that would put them off from everyone else, Flygon who now called himself Nevyn, and Charmander who wanted to call himself Antonio, Arbok now calling herself Cassiopeia and the Totodile calling himself Jaw, had all chosen a name for themselves. "Blaze is with him, so you know he's fine, and plus, you know he can handle himself in a fight."

"I...I know," Ren answered with a small sigh. "It just...you know how I am, I just worry for him because I care for him deeply...how can you be so claim when you have the same feelings as me?"

"Because," she answered with a nod. "I've been with Brandon the longest, I know the way he is, we've been though a lot so I have a way of knowing if something is going to happen to him, or something is going on with him." The snake then sighed and moved beside her friend and patted her shoulder with her tail. "But I do worry at times about him, when his mother and father passed on, he was...like a zombie, he wouldn't let me in to help him, just doing things to keep him going." Ren looked over at her with a look of disbelief; she couldn't believe that Brandon was ever like that, he was always so full of life from when she knew him. "I told him one day that everyone dies and that his family wouldn't want him to morn over them like this, that's when we started our adventure, he was decanting his wins to his family." Ren sighed and looked to the Arbok once more as she smiled and then nodded once, then both perked their heads up when they heard the sound of the door opening.

Brandon walked in on the noiseless house, looking around slowly not seeing anyone. Ember, the name he gave the fire dog who walked in behind him looked around at the large house with slight awed, as Blaze flanked behind her as well.

"Brandon!" the human turned to see Ren run from the living room and jump, grabbing onto his neck and held him tightly in a hug, nuzzling his cheek almost painfully as he laughed. Nevyn walked in with Jaw and Antonio on his back as they got off and ran to hug his legs as the human laughed slightly patting all of their heads as he chuckled. Ren was about to ask him if he was alright, when she got a whiff of something she didn't thinks he would smell, the smell of a female Pokémon.

"Hey guys," he answered placing the Zangoose on the ground for a moment before standing back up. "Where's Suicune?"

"She went to the lake out back!" Jaw spoke as he nodded. "She said she wanted to speak to you!"

"I'll do that then," he answered with a nod. "I'll be back later alright?" they all nodded their heads but for Ren as he left, once the back door closed and a few moments later, Ren hissed and glared hard at Blaze.

"What.Did.You.Do?!" she hissed each word with hate at the Pokémon who raised an eyebrow.

"What do you mean?" she asked as Ren screeched and attack Blaze only to be held back by a pair of green arms, Nevyn's arms.

"Ren!" he cried. 'What is wrong with you?!"

"She mated with him!" she screeched. "I can smell her all over him!"

Brandon made his way though the forest that covered his backyard. He rather liked the large area, when a child, he would come here and play with the wild Pokémon that would be here, though small like the rat types and a few bird types, they didn't seem to mind Brandon at all. His mother and father at the time were worried on why Pokémon seemed to be attracted to the small child, that's when they found out at such a young age that his Aura was much higher then a human's should be without training. He stopped when he remembered his mother and father, they died long ago in a crash when he was just ten, they were on their way to get his first Pokémon when a large Pokémon, he couldn't remember what, slammed into their car. All he remembered was the tossing and turning of the car, his mother flinging herself onto his body to cover his body from the wreckage, and then nothing. He shook his head slightly as he went on until coming to the lake, flowers of white that his mother and he planted years ago, bloomed with pride as the raindrop glistened with the sun hitting off of them. He then heard the sound of small pings, looking to the lake, seeing Suicune run over the water with grace only she could do, the mud from the water going away, until it was all but clear enough that you could see at the bottom. The Pokémon looked over and smiled when she saw Brandon and hopped over to him, landing on the ground with a soft thud, now seeing her for what she truly was, Brandon noticed she was a little bigger then he himself.

"You came," she spoke softly as he nodded.

"Of course," he nodded to her and smiled softly to her. "What is it that you like?"

"We will really leave tonight," she answered. "And I wish to speak to you alone, but first, would you like to have a ride?" Brandon blinked but nodded all the same, turning to her side and dipped her chest down so he could swing a leg over her neck, and once standing up fully, he fell back a bit, holding her hair like a rope as she looked back, nodding once and took off deeper into the forest with speed he never felt.

Ren glared hard at the fire Pokémon, Cassiopeia and even Nevyn looked to her with a questionable look. Blaze just stood there looking at the three who were looking at her, until she just shrugged.

"So?"

"So?!" she screeched once more as Cassiopeia even got a little angry at the Pokémon. "What did you do to him, how did you make him mate you!?" Blaze only crossed her arms.

"I'm sorry, did you want to mate with him to be his first?" she questioned as Ren hissed softly. Though Cassiopeia and Ren had feelings for him, the Zangoose wanted to be with Brandon more then anything, and they both promised themselves that if one of them told him about their feelings, that Ren would be the first to bed him. "Did you tell him your feelings?" Ren recoiled like she was slapped as Nevyn released her. Blaze looking to her and sighed. "Look, I am sorry if I have done something I was not to do, but what has happened, happened. We are not mates, so if you wish to mate with him still, you may, and I do not care." Cassiopeia and Ren looked to each other in slight confusion, until back to her.

"So...he didn't care that you were a Pokémon?" asked Ren as Blaze smiled and shook her head.

"No...in fact he had a top ten Pokémon rating list he wanted to mate when he was younger, though I won't tell that number we're on, but I will say this, everyone in this room, is the top ten." The Pokémon all looking at each other as she spoke of this, even Ember, who was slightly confused began to see that the Pokémon here had feelings for their trainer. "Speaking of which...where is he?"

Suicune was laying on her side, Brandon head on her side as he laid straight out with his hand across his lap, the sun was slowly setting at the hill they were resting, the ring of hills where she had taken him, whistled softly from the high grass as they tickled his legs and arms slightly. Brandon didn't know why Suicune brought him out here, but the ride was amazing, as she ran and jumped from one spot to the next, he felt light, as if the laws of nature didn't matter at all. But even though she was a Legendarily Pokémon, she needed her rest. Brandon then, taking two blades of grass and trilled them around to make something, he took other pieces as Suicune watched, a slightly confused fast as it looked like a small tube, brining it to his lips, he blew, moving his fingers to push down on some parts making different sounds. His eyes closed as he played a soft song that seemed to put everything at peace around him.

"How did you do that?" she asked when he was done, then unrolling it and releasing the blades of grass into the wind. "I've only seen the old culture do that."

"My mother taught me," he answered sighing. "She taught me a lot of things when I was young, just like my father trained with me with his Lucario."

"So that's where you learned to fight?" Brandon nodded looking up at the sky.

"I was only young, so Lucario stayed with us for a bit, training me in the way of battling, but then my uncle and aunt took me in; he had to go because of something he promised my father long ago."

"You miss them?" she asked as Brandon nodded again.

"I can't remember my mother or father face...only their smell. My mother would always smell like the ocean and my father of brunt wood...but for some reason...I liked it." He smiled looking to her as she looked away. "What's wrong?" she didn't answer for a while, as if she was thinking of something, thinking to ether tell or not to tell. After a while, she nodded while looking back at fading light skies.

"I'm afraid I haven't been...all the too honest to you Brandon," she spoke in a small voice. "I knew you before the day you were attacked; in fact, I knew your mother and father rather well." Brandon sat up more to look at her more clearly, thinking what she was talking about as she closed her eyes and sighed. "You see, the last war was when we met, and since your mother and father were a team, they both kept the peace of human and Pokémon as you see here now."

"But didn't you say that the war only happens once every thousand years?" Brandon questioned as Suicune nodded.

"When the Champion or Champions win, they are granted with the gift of longer life so that they may better help out the next war in case they wished the peace to stay in the world, so when they won and made their choice of kept he world as you see it now, they were also given a much longer life then normal. Your mother and father were about your age when I and my brother Entei picked them to fight for us for the better peace. You see there is a rule; you know the group of Legendarily Pokémon right? The dogs, birds, emotions and so on?" Brandon nodded as she went on. "If the Pokémon group pick them, they are given the power of all three, but since it was only two and not one or all three, your mother and father only got mine and my brother's powers." She sighed looking to Brandon again as he didn't look at her. "I'm so sorry for your lost," she answered. "Your father and mother were great friends to me, and they loved you greatly, you know this right?" Brandon nodded as she leaned closer and softly nuzzled his chin causing him to smile.

"But there something that's been bugging me," he answered. "Well two things,"

"And what is that Brandon?"

"Well, I remember you saying something that when given the power of the Legendarily Pokémon, we gain a small amount of Pokémon DNA right?" Suicune nodded her head as Brandon went on. "Well, if both my mother had as you said early when we were riding twenty-five percent like I should have, and I was born with that DNA born into me, that means, before even I met you and remembered it mind you, that means that from each I would have twelve point five percent, which also mean..." he went on now counting in the air. "If you gave me your power and gift...I'm like half Pokémon or something?" Suicune smiled and nodded her head again as Brandon leaned back on her side, his hand on his face as he tried to think this though, he was no human, he was half human, half Pokémon, he couldn't really believe it himself, but what would the water Pokémon gain from lying to him anyway? "Okay one last question?" he asked while looking to her. "Say if I had sex with a Pokémon...what are the chances of getting said Pokémon with egg?"

"You mean like you and Blaze?" she asked.

"Yes like me and...WHAT?!" he turned to her at once as she started to chuckle. "How did you...?"

"Her heat is all over you," she answered. "Brandon, because you are half Pokémon, you no doubt made her heavy with egg."

Hours had pasted, Brandon and Suicune had came back just as they were about to leave, Brandon going upstairs for a moment to think to himself, the others slightly confused but the dog told them it was nothing to worry about. When he came back down, he was carrying a sword around his waist, looking like a Japanese sword, the edge looking very sharp as he looked to Suicune, who knew the sword well, for it had belong to his mother, the necklace around his neck, looking like a flaming fire; belonged to his father. Nodding to prove he was ready, Suicune nodded and turned to walk outside with everyone following behind. Brandon stood beside her as the other behind them both. Suicune bringing her head high, she howled at the moon that hung over the sky above them, a light came down and grew like a tower before them, everyone had to cover their eyes but Suicune. When the light died down, a single doorway of light was seen, one by one, each went in.

On the other side, they were greeted by a large temple, almost like a castle, walls as tall as any tower Brandon or the others had seen, the walls a purer white then even snow could be, and seemed to glow. The gates were a solid gold, markings of old drawings of each legendarily Pokémon known to men, but two were of those Brandon had never seen before. He couldn't quite make out the way they were drawn because the drawing were all but faded. Suicune saw him looking at the drawing and answered his question.

"These two were said to be the brothers of my God," she answered. "One of Pure Light, the other of Pure Darkness; their names stripped so even I don't know their names, they started the very first war thousands of years ago."

"What happened?" asked Blaze as she wanted to know the story.

"Legend tells that human and Pokémon were treated the same, all Pokémon walked and spoke like humans would, but the Darkness as we now called him, didn't want that, he wanted the Pokémon to rule over the human, so giving them the basic thought of killing humans if got too close, thousand of the humans were killed. Light was enrage, so he allowed the humans to make tools to capture the Pokémon who attacked them, back then they were called Soul Balls, you know them as Pokéballs now. So when the humans stated to capture the Pokémon, yet again, Darkness fought back. Taking away their humanoid body, he gave them the bodies you now have making them stronger, faster, deadlier. Hundreds of years pasted, war ranged from small village to a full world war! That's when Arceus stepped in. He made this temple to allow one Champion of the human and one Champion of the Pokémon to battle it out to the death, the war was put on hold for this fight. In the end the humans won, and made it that the humans controlled over the Pokémon, for this was his wish. Again Darkness was enrage, so a new rule was made, every thousand year, a new battle was made, by then, newer Legend Pokémon were made to better help the war, so they too picked their Champions. Some times the Pokémon won and they ether chose to make them the rulers over the humans or keep how they were raised, the same with the humans, but they always picked the same thing."

She stopped and moved closer to the door and as she did it opened, allowing the eight to enter.

"But not once did the world go back as it once was. And when Darkness and Light were about to fight again, Arceus turned them into stone, they say that two humans, brothers released the two Pokémon, one fighting for one who believed in the power of Truth, and the other of Ideas, for this was true, for they said before leaving to become stone, that they would only come to those who Idea or Truth were the strongest!"

"That's...amazing..." Ren answered as she thought of how the world would be if the war never happened, would the world mind if she and Brandon were mates, or hate them?

"Yes it is," Suicune answered as Brandon listened as well. "But what ever you pick Brandon, know that it is for the better of your world, for if the Pokémon who wish the humans to be the slaves win, and then the world will in darkness for a thousand years!"

"That won't happen," he promised with a nod of his head. "I swear I will fight to make sure the world is truly in peace."

"I hope so then," she answered with a nod. "I truly hope so. But first, we must get you ready, my brothers are waiting for us!"

"What do you mean?" asked Brandon as she chuckled.

"Well, I gave you the armour," she answered with a smile. "And now my brother will give you your weapons!"
