With Arms Wide Open. Ch. 2
Moments later I got a text back from Kaden
""Really?! I am so glad you're okay with it! I can't wait to hang out with you guys tonight. And I promise I will never hit on you, or make you feel weird."
I smiled and put my phone down on my desk. I wonder how I am going to play this out tonight, how will I tell Kaden that I am also gay? I waited for Kyle to arrive, I texted him like ten minutes ago and told him to come over so I could talk to him, I don't think that Kyle is going to take it that hard. But then again, he is a spas. I hear a familiar truck outside of my house. I run over to my window and see my friend's old beat up red Chevy Ck pickup. I go down the stairs to greet him, I was a little nervous to do this, but I had no other choice, especially with me liking Kaden. I open the door and let him in. we both sit on the couch and he looks at me like he knew something is going on. Kyle and I have grown up together; we really couldn't keep secrets from each other, We could since the other one not being honest.
"Jesse, what's going on?" Kyle says while he tilts his head down. "You know you can tell me anything."
I look down and didn't talk for a few seconds. "Kyle....I'm gay." I sighed, still looking down at the floor, unable to look my friend in the face. I dread what he is going to say next.
He put his hand on my back. "I'm sorry Jesse; I could sense that you were gay for a long time now. I just never wanted to ask. It's no big deal to me, honestly." He spoke with sympathy in his voice.
I look up at him and smile. "So, you're okay with it?"
"Of course I accept you. We have been best friends forever, and I wouldn't loose you over something as little as being gay." He smiles back at me and stands up from the couch.
"So, I invited Kaden to hang with us at the beach." I say as I stand up too.
"Do you like Him?" He raises one eyebrow.
"Yeah, I do.....a lot." I say, then smile and look down at the floor.
"Oh, well that's cool." He laughed a little.
I looked back at him "You're going to be nice to him, right?." I say with a demanding voice.
"No, no. now that I know you're gay." He shakes his head with his eye brows squinted "I don't know, I feel a little less freaked out by them." He shrugs his shoulders.
"Kaden's a really cool person. Just get to know him and I'm sure you will like him" I put my hand on Kyle's shoulder."Please do it for me?"
"I will like your mate, I'm sure." He winks at me. My heart dropped when he mentioned Kaden being my mate. He walks to the front door and I follow right behind him.
"I have to leave." He points his thumb behind him at the door "my girl is waiting for me to pick her up." He bends down and puts his shoes back on. Abby is Kyle's foxy girlfriend. She has blond head fur, with bright orange fur. She has beautiful brown eyes, she is really sweet too, one of the nicest girls in our school. She and Kyle have been together since the 8th grade.
"You knew why I told you to come over, didn't you?" I ask with curiosity.
Kyle stands back up and looks at me "Well, I had a feeling, especially after today. So yeah, I kind of Knew today was going to be the day you would come out to me."
I hug him. "I'm so glad that I'm not going to lose you." He hugs me back "Well, I'm glad you were honest with me. I will always be here for you." I let go of him so he can leave. He opens the door.
"See you tonight, dude." He says as he walks towards his truck.
"Okay, bye." I wave goodbye to him. He waves back as he gets into his truck. I shut the front door and head back up to my room. I had a lot of mixed feeling now, mostly good ones. I was still unsure how I was going to tell Kaden I was gay. I wonder if he would be mad that I didn't tell him when he told me. I am sure that it is all going to be fine. I was really exhausted from all that went on today, I want to take a short nap to clear my head.. I crawl into my bed and start to fall asleep.

I awake at the sound of my phone ringing. I jump out of bed realizing that I had been sleeping for awhile. I look over at my clock; I have been sleeping for two hours! I grab my phone and see Kaden's name.
"Hello?" I said with a groggily voice.
"Hey, um I was wondering when you are going to come get me." My Tail starts wagging over hearing Kaden's sweet and innocent sounding voice.
"Hey, I'm sorry. I'm on my way right now. I fell asleep." I rush and grab my keys and run out of my room.
"Oh." he laughed "I guess I'll see you in a minute."
"Okay" I hung up my phone still hurrying to get to my car. I was glad to see that it was a nice and sunny out again, It always smells amazing after it rains. I shut my front door and jumped into my jeep. I twist my key in the ignition, my jeep roars. Then I leave for his home. He lives so close to me, just a few blocks away. I couldn't help but feel anxious to see him again. Whenever I hear his voice it fills me with a feeling a joy. I anticipate every word that comes out of his mouth. It was nice to have my first crush on a guy. There is just a lot of things that could go wrong tonight....
I arrive moments later I pull into his driveway and wait for the gates to let me into his home. They slowly opened and reviled his huge mansion. I drive around the roundabout and then park next to his front door. As I waited for him I stared at the beautiful waterfall to my right, it's in the middle of the roundabout. She's a wolf angel wearing a dress; she's holding flowers in both hands, pointing them to the sky. Water flooded out of her halo down to her feet. I look back over and see Kaden walking to my jeep. I smile at him then reached over to open the passenger door for him. He hopes in and shuts the door. I close my eyes and inhaled the most intoxicating sent. He smells so good; it isn't cologne or perfume, more like a cross in in-between them. I look at him and smile
"This is a beautiful home." I say while I look back at the angel.
"Thanks', I like it, but it seems like a bit much." He scratched the back of his head. "I mean it's only me, my mother and my father living here in a 12 bedroom home."
"I see, but it's absolutely gorgeous." I put the car into drive and leave the house.
"So, where are we going." He asks looking a little excited
'We're going to the bay, my friends and I have been going to our special spot for years now. So, I hope you brought you swimming trunks."
"Yeah, of course I did, I wore them under my shorts." He says while he pulls his white shorts down just enough to revile his green swimming shorts. It made me blush a little.
"Good, cause it's going to be a blast." I smile at him then look back at the road.
The silence grows for a few minutes; Kaden breaks the silence with his cute voice.
"So... you're really okay with me being gay....and that I kind of.... like you....?" He looks at me with an upset look. He looks a bit ashamed.
"Kaden, I knew you were gay before I even meet you. So if I wanted nothing to do with you, I would've avoided you. And as for you liking me....well I think it's sweet." I said while watching the road seeing that we were almost there.
"Thanks 'Jesse." He said with the most adorable smile on his face. I love it when he says my name. 2"Well, were here." I said and nodded my head towards the beach.
He paused for a minute and stared at the beach. A lot of kids are there, playing volleyball, and swimming. I looked at him; he looked a bit intimidated over all the commotion.
"Well, what are we waiting for?" I said while I open my door and hop out. I take of my shirt then slam down my shorts revealing my light blue swimming shorts; it felt nice to have just swimming shorts on during this hot summer day... I look at Kaden , he was watching me. When he sees that I am watching him stare at me he looks away in embarrassment. He gets out of the car and takes off his shorts and reveals his dark green swimming shorts that go with his beautiful green eyes. Then he took off his shirt in the sexiest manner, he put both hands behind him and pulled it off from the back.. I stared at him in shock; he had the most gorgeous body I have ever seen, it was the not to feminine but not to masculine, just how I liked it. I saw that he has a White belly as well as me. Although the white area was not as large as mine. It kind of seemed cute to me how we were a bit similar in looks. Our eyes were defiantly different, his being gorgeous green, and mine being ocean blue. Our faces looked different, of course. I Shut my jeeps door and walked out in front of it, ready to head into the beach. I wait for him to follow me; he shut the passenger door and walked towards me. When he got close to me my heart dropped over the sight of his green eyes all lit up in the sunlight. We walk all to the shore line where all my friends were. When we got close enough for them to realize it was us. My friend Jake starts running over to us. He's a charcoal black wolf with light blue eyes. he goes to our school, he is very obnoxious ,but friendly. His girl friend is Michelle; she's a pure white Arctic Snow fox with grey eyes. They were often called the "complete opposite couple." He finally makes it to us.
"Yo, what's up dude?" Jake held his hand out to kaden.
Kaden looked at Jake's hand surprised that it was held out to him. He reached out and smiled at Jake "Hey, what's up?"
"Not shit man, not shit. So are we gonna stay out here and burn our fucking tails off or are we gonna go and swim?" He said to Kaden and I while pointing to the water.
I look at Kaden and say "Last one to the water is a rotten egg." And I took off sprinting.
I could hear Kaden scream "Hey!" I laugh as I sprinted to the water. I ran out in the water as far as I could and tumbled in; the water is really cool and refreshing. When I came up out of the water Kaden stood right next to me smiling. Damn, I love seeing his smiling face, he's so beautiful. His face was all wet and it made his gray fur darker. His eyes are all lit up and glowing it the sun. I really wanted to kiss him despite all my friends being around us, it's like the world around us is gone, all of my focus was on him. We stared at each other for a few moments and then somebody came up from behind me and shoved me under water. I rushed back to the surface and seen that it was just Kyle, I splashed water at him and laughed. We all swam together cooling off. My friends welcomed Kaden in with open arms. You wouldn't have even guessed that Kaden was a shy guy; He was playing with all of my friends without hesitation. I am glad to see that they welcomed kaden into our group. They all love kaden, I knew all they had to do was see for themselves that he is a great person. He deserves to be treated like the perfect angel that he is, and I will do everything in my power to make sure that he is treated that way.
I come up from behind Kaden and tap his schoulder, he turns around and I tackle him into the water. We were in the water belly to belly. In fact, our bodies are in full contact from head to toe. I lean my head around his and wrap my arms around him. It felt amazing to be with him like this, even though the water we were in was cold, his body was worm. He soon gets away from the physical contact, still thinking that I am straight. When we both emerge he looks little confused, it makes me feel like an idiot for hugging him under the water. I splash him to change the mood, and we get into a little splashing war, my friends soon all join in. We all play in the water for a few hours, loosing time track of time.....
When the sun starts to set, we all get out of the water and hang out on the beach, my friend Jake starts a fire near the shore. Kaden sits down close to the fire and I sit next to him. All of us watch the sun fall down the horizon, It's so beautiful, a mesh of Pink, Orange and purple. I stare at Kaden for a few moments while he looks at the sunset, I'm really having strong feelings for him, but as I flirt with him, he still doesn't get the picture. What if he does and he just doesn't like me? I mean, if he just looked around, all my friends were sitting close to their mates. Kyle was sitting next to Abby; Jake was next to Michelle. My friends are being all romantic with each other. And I was sitting next to Him. I am really hoping that he has it engraved into his head that I am straight, because if he didn't like me I would be very hurt. The thoughts made me look away and play with the sand at my feet.... I couldn't take it anymore, I was going to find out soon, I don't even care who sees.
All of us watched as the sun fully disappeared, it grew dark. You could se hundreds of boats in the bay. The first firework shot up into the sky, soon followed by a cluster of fireworks. I looked over at Kaden while he was watching the fireworks. I feel very nervous over what I am going to do. I gaze back up at the sky, the grand finale has started. I look over at all my friends that have already started kissing. It was a tradition that we had, they would start kissing during the grand finale, I never got to because I never had anyone, it is time to do it, my heat started racing. 2"Hey, kaden." I got his attention. He looked over at me. Before he could ask anything, I grabbed the back of his head and closed my eyes, I lean into him. We locked muzzles for the first time my heart was racing a million miles an hour. He tasted great, kissing him was the best thing I have ever felt. His eyes showed that he was in shock, but he closed them and put his arm over my shoulder. We kissed for about 15 seconds. When we stopped, we stared each other in the eyes. I didn't even have to explain it to him. He smiled at me.
"Jesse... I'm speechless...." He says it with his voice trembling
"That was amazing. Can I have one more kiss?" I ask him while breathing hard. Then he leans into me for another kiss. We lock muzzles again until the grand finale is over; I loved it how he leaned into me this time. When we parted we look at all of my friends smiling and I shock. Jake screams out
"Awe shit, get some!" we all laugh.
This is by far the best night of my life, because it safe to say that Kaden is now my boyfriend. I look forward to us going to school as a couple now. In fact I am just glad to have him. boats start to honk their horns, the sky is filled with smoke. We all get our thing up and say our "goodbyes" It was time for us to go home. Kaden and I walk to my jeep, a little speachless. We left for his home, as I was driving. Kaden said.
"My parents aren't home; I'd like it if you stayed with me." He says and smiles at me.
"I'd love to stay with you!" My tail starts wagging underneath me.
We arrive at his mansion a few minutes later. I pull into the roundabout and park my jeep. We both jump out and walk to his front door, you can hear the sound of crickets everywhere. Kaden opens the
door and we walk in. The mansion is beautiful; it has white walls with hardwood floors. It even smelled good. Kaden grabs my hand and leads me up the stairway and into an observatory room. It is lit up by the moonlight, Kaden pointed up and I followed his hand up to the sky. I was in shock; there are billions of stars flooding the night sky, even the moon is all the way out. The Milky Way stretches across the sky, with different shades of green, purple and blue. I look over at kaden. He is always so beautiful, but especially in the moon light, His eyes are a more soothing shade of green now. I could not take it anymore; I kiss him forcing him up against the wall. I start to take off his shirt and He kisses me back and feels around me. I reach down to grab his wolf pride. He stops me....
"Jesse, I'm not ready." He says breathing hard.
"I'm sorry." I back off from him feeling a little embarrassed. But I understand why, it's far too soon.
"No, it was sweet. And I want to; I'm just not ready for it." He hugs me then grabs my hand.
He leads me into his room across the observatory. His room is all nice and neat. I take it his favorite color is green because most of his things are green. We crawl into his huge bed. I wrap my arm around him, holding him tight. I could hear his faint breathing; it's so cute how he is already falling asleep. I feel a magical feeling coming over me. I kiss the back of his head and whisper
"Goodnight, my angel."
