Chapter 2
You can what?
Spyros POV
I feel Ember cuff my tail and watch her go under the trees, I watch Flame do much the same, I sigh knowing I can't catch them, so I look around before landing in nice looking forest. A dark shadow bowls me over,
"Arh!" I scream as it comes out from the ground and knocks me against a tree. I feel my body pinned down against the ground; I open my eyes and see black, I thought I was unconscious, but then I felt teeth on my neck,
"Who are you?" came a growl
"S...Sp...Spyro," I stutter as I look at the drago... No, dragoness on top of me. 'She's beautiful' I thought before scolding myself for being attracted to someone who had attacked me, my eyes skimmed over her. Her red belly scales rose up her neck, her body covered in black scales and her head had white markings; her horns were pointing straight back instead of curling like most that I've seen. And finally beautiful deep green eyes that locked with my gazing purple eyes. A harsh growl came out of her throat pulling me back to reality, I saw her tail blade at my throat and she repeated
"Give me one good reason why I shouldn't end your life!" she threatened.
"Because then you'll be sorry!" a yell came from behind her 'Flame' I thought, but then I saw he had distracted her enough so her tail blade wasn't at my throat, in those split seconds I rolled away and pounced onto her; pinning her down the way she had done to me,
"Who are you?" I asked her smugly, a smirk on my face.
? POV
I saw a purple dragon land in the clearing, 'Purple?' instantly I turn into a shadow under the ground and pounce, once near him, I knock him against a tree pinning him; I put my teeth on his neck when he squirms,
"Who are you?" I growl,
"S...Sp...Spyro," he stutters, 'Spyro? Hmmm' my grip lessons as I hear his name, but not completely. After a moment I place my tail blade at his neck
"Give me one good reason why I shouldn't end your life!" I threated, I hear a yell coming from behind me and I growled with annoyance and turn to see who had challenged me. Then all of a sudden Spyro was on top of me asking the same question I had to him,
"Cynder," I snarled and squirmed trying to throw him off, cutting him with my tail blade.
"Stop-it!" he snarls and whacks my face with his tail spade, I whine softly from the blow and stopped trying to get free.
"If I let you go will you attack me?" he asked cautiously,
"Maybe," I murmured,
"Then maybe I should just leave you tied up somewhere around here," he replies coolly. After a few minutes still being squished I mutter a 'Ok fine I won't' and without aword he gets off me, I scramble to my feet and hiss at the redish orange dragon,
"Flame this is Cynder, Cynder this is Flame," Spyro says gesturing to Flame, who had just landed, and me. I look at Flame with a glare, like he was my sworn enemy, before I flew off, landing on a cliff not too far away. I sighed before shooting a heap of dark lighting which quickly became a storm, fuelled by my frustration, anger and sadness.
Flames POV
I blinked at the sight of a sudden freak storm
"Storm," I mutter to Spyro before taking off to the cave that Ember lay in, when we arrived I heard Spyro gasp. Ember weakly lifted her head and greeted Spyro with a croaky voice
"Hey... Spyro..." she smiled before dropping her head with the effort.
"She needs rest," confirms Spyro, I nod slowly 'Ember...' I thought softly, I walk out the other side of the cave and run towards a sheep, every so often I would have to dodge the dark lightning. Soon enough I caught a sheep, but I stoped for a second to kill the sheep.
I lifted my head to see where I was- Bad idea- almost as quick as I had done so, dark lightning hit me. Pain surged through me and a blackness came over me I grabbed the sheep and ran, basicly blind from the strike. Somehow I found the cave and Spyro found some herbs to put on our wounds, before long my vision cleared and I saw Ember barely able to eat. I took a small bite from the sheep, chewed and swallowed, then fell asleep.
