Romari Susi is a dirty old wolf, the emperor of a mighty nation, and the joint-CEO of a massive worldwide corporation; he's well respected, and is closeted from the rest of the world, though it's a poorly kept secret at best. He shares his bed with his straight-laced secretary, co-CEO, and mate Neal, who is a flying fox (AKA, a fruit bat). Luckily for their domestic tranquility, Neal is rather open to his mate's wide-ranging romantic exploits.
Occasionally joining them in their adventures is the captain of their imperial guard, a raccoon named Taxas.

Imperial Sovereign Romari:"Neal! Go tell one of the stableboys to saddle up my dog."
Imperial Assistant Neal:"Surely you mean 'horse' sir?"
Romari:"No. It's a feral mastiff the size of a thoroughbred. I'm taking him for a ride in the city park. I hear walking your dog is a great way to pick up men."
Neal:"I believe the commonly utilized date-bait is a puppy on a string, sir."
Romari:"Why? There's nothing impressive about a puppy on a string. A dog large enough to tear a bus apart, though -- that's impressive."
Neal:"Puppies are cute."
Romari:"You're saying I'm not? Flattery like that will get you nowhere, Neal."
Neal:"But a dog that size is terrifying!"
Romari:"Then I'll seem less intimidating by comparison."
Neal:"But...!" *Sighs* "I'll go find a stableboy, sir."
Romari:"Good boy. I'll treat you to a bone later."
