The Twelve Talismans: Dimensional Travels

Chapter 35 Heroes (Wonder Woman/Gomamon)

************************************************************************

A half-dozen colorful superheroes slowly advanced into the meeting room toward the two animals constructed from digital information. The mind-controlled super beings didn't know how these creatures made it into their stronghold, let alone managed to hide all this time from the supreme being Starro. But it didn't truly matter. They would convert them to one of the Starro flock. "Gomamon." Gatomon backed up slowly as the super heroes slowly advanced. The starfish latched on to their faces seemed to pulse slowly, like heart beats. Except for Batman and Superman, who had their Starro-fish latched onto their torsos instead of their faces. "I'm not huge into comics, but I am guessing the starfish are a bad thing."

"Big time. It's from something called Starro...They control whoever they are attached to." Gomamon backed up with his friend. A quick glance showed them the only doorway out was currently blocked by the superhero team.

"And that's not a good thing." The feline tensed up, but without her ring she was still severely powered down. She could take on the average human... but none of these beings were average humans... if they were human at all.

"Never is." Gomamon gave Superman his trademarked grin, tilting his head slightly. His black eye patch still adorned his face, giving him a piratey look. "So big guy, Kal-el." The seal tried to fast-talk. No way he wanted to take on an entire league of superheroes. "Can we talk?"

"I thought this universe had all been turned to the word of Starro years ago." Superman walked forward slowly and confidently. The giant starfish on his chest rippled slightly. The alien sea life seemed annoyed to have missed two beings. "How is it possible two tiny insignificant creatures managed to avoid an entire galaxy of Starro's servants?"

"Well, we were just... visiting your lovely dimension." The two of them backed toward the door behind them. "But we can see you're busy." The seal continued to babble. "So we will be on our way."

"It doesn't matter. You will submit to Starro as we all have." Superman spoke in his deep baritone voice.

"But you forget one thing!" Gomamon made a fluid motion, grabbing Gatomon and hitting the speed power on his flipper. "Bye!" He didn't wait for an answer. There was a loud metallic ripping sound as the seal tore a hole with inhuman strength through the bulkhead. This was followed by a whooshing of air, Gomamon disappearing down the halls in a burst of pure acceleration with his feline friend in tow.

"Gah!" Gatomon felt a rush of vertigo as she wrapped her paws tightly around Gomamon's neck. She had to shout over the rushing wind. "What's the plan?!"

"We get the fuck out of here!" Gomamon stopped at a window, turning off his speed. His face fell as he looked outside. "And as I thought..."

"We're in space?!" Gatomon looked out the transparent high density plastic to the star-filled blackness.

"The Justice League HQ is located in Earth's orbit. At least in the comics." The seal's ears dropped a bit. His escape plan was rapidly dwindling... there was no way he or Gatomon could survive space with his current power set.

"So we're trapped here?" Gatomon's ears fell as well until they were brushing her cheeks.

Gomamon didn't have a chance to answer before a red blur smashed into him. The Flash didn't say anything, not that he could with the Starro fish firmly attached to his face. "Gatomon Run!" The seal screamed as he turned into a white blur, the two of them spinning around each. A whirlwind of red and white filled the halls as the pair exchanged strikes.

The feline did what Gomamon said... not because she was afraid to fight a losing battle of course. More because she was out of her league and she wanted to find some help, of any sorts. She just took off down the hall on all fours, but quickly skidded to a stop. Wonder Woman and Hawkgirl stood in front of them brandishing a golden lasso and giant mace respectively. "Ladies." Gatomon backed up slowly. She may not have known much about comics and heroes, but she could guess show powerful these women were. "We're all women warriors here. Can't we just..."

CRUNCH! The mace of Hawkgirl came down hard, smashing deep into the titanium plating. Gatomon still had the agility to dodge, and jumped up. She landed on the mace, running up and delivering the most powerful punch she could manage. It was barely enough to stumble the winged hero back; just as Wonder Woman's lasso came sailing forward. The golden rope wrapped around her gloved paws as the Amazonian pulled hard.

"You can have them!" Gatomon slipped out of her gloves, letting the heroine take them as she took off down the hall behind them. She turned the corner and ducked into the nearest room, the Amazonian and the Thanagarian speeding past without looking in. At least Starro seemed to slow their reflexes a bit. "Great..." She panted, wishing she had her ring back. At least then she could have held her own. "I need a weapon... a wrench, a crow bar... Any-" She reached up and flipped on the lights in the room so she could search it. Her face broke into a wide smile as the lights flickered on, illuminating the room. "Awesome."

************************************************************************

The Flash went flying into the wall, crumbling in a ball. It was almost freaky how they didn't make any sound when hurt. The seal turned off his speed... even though the whole fight had lasted a few seconds, from the seal's standpoint they had been fighting for hours. Gomamon was still panting when a green circle of light surrounded him, trapping him in an orb of translucent energy. The Green Lantern, John Stewart, had him trapped in a shield of energy powered by will. "Sorry man, can't hold a guy who can teleport!" Gomamon slammed on his flipper, and disappeared from his cage.

The Green lantern looked surprised, as much as he could with the starfish firmly anchored over his face. He let the energy orb disappear as he looked to and fro for his opponent. The Starro on his face squirmed slightly in annoyance.

Suddenly the seal shimmered into view, right under the tall black superhero. He had used the Snake's invisibility to merely disappear. "Psyche!" Gomamon connected hard with his flipper, amplified with his oxen strength.

The Green Lantern's head snapping back like a pez dispenser. He fell back on the deck, jaw dislocated and out cold. The seal smiled as his opponent slumped to the ground and did not move. It looked like the heroes weren't quite as swift with the sea creatures stuck to their face. "Two down... But I got to help Gatomon, who knows where..." Suddenly Wonder Woman went sailing overhead, crashing into the wall behind him. The metal plating screeched as it was dented inwards, the dark haired beauty sliding down on the floor with a massive bruise on the side of her head and arm. The seal's head quickly turned towards Wonder Woman's assailant. "Whoa..."

Gatomon flew in midair, a giant pair of wings with light grey feathers stretched across the hall, flapping softly. They were strapped to her chest, an outline of a hawk's head where the straps crossed. On her head was a golden helmet made out to look like a hawk's head and in her paws was a giant mace sparkling with electricity. "I have to say, I like it." She grinned as she tapped the metal spiked sphere in her paw. Her paws were now adorned with golden gauntlets fashioned from the mythical Nth metal to imitate the talons of a hawk. The seal chuckled softly.

"What's so funny?"

"You're hawk-mon!" He laughed some more at his terrible wordplay.

"Ugh." Gatomon rolled her blue eyes under her helmet. "I should smack you next for that."

"But seriously, you took out Wonder Woman!" The seal grinned. "Pretty damn impressive."

"And that Hawkgirl..." Gatomon slung the mace over her shoulder as she hovered. "Though I am willing to bet it would not be so easy without those starfish on their faces."

"That is impressive." The strong voice of Superman spoke. He had appeared at the end of the hallway as if by magic, hovering above the floor. "You took out most my entire league. Starro's elite force." The two digimon stood side by side, tensing for battle. "You've proved your worth to Starro. As a reward, you will both wear the starfish on your chest as I do, and serve at his side as his lieutenants."

"Yeah, but do you do dental?" Gomamon joked. "And we haven't even talked about vacations and our 401k."

"Surrender. I don't wish to damage you." The man from krypton spoke, not paying attention to the babbling.

"Well, not going to happen!" The winged cat flew forward with the mace swinging. Somehow her strength and speed were enhanced, the cat as good as if not better than her champion form.

Sadly, Superman caught the mace in his left hand, hardly moving his palm. "The Nth metal in your belt and mace enhance your strength and speed." His eyes began to burn red. "But nowhere near my level." Superman fired his laser vision, a bit too late as Gomamon charged into him full force, using his super speed and leading into his strength to throw off the blast. Black scorch marks skated across the cold grey walls. Gatomon fell from his grip as he was driven back ten feet before he was able to recover. "Why do you resist?" Superman grabbed Gomamon around the waist as one would a puppy dog. "Embrace the sweet song of Starro!"

"More of a Jap rock guy myself." Gomamon placed his flippers on the top of Superman's well defined pectorals. "And a bit of a comic book guy too. I know that Kryptonite's not the only way to hurt you." His paws began to glow with yellow combustion energy. "Magic works too!"

Superman was blown back through the bulk head, and the one beyond that. "Gahh!" Gomamon shook his flippers, having burned them again. "I have got to stop doing that at close range." He blew on them a bit to alleviate the pain.

The Kryptonian slowly came out of the wall, his lips and left eye swollen, upper left portion of his uniform in tatters. "Do not continue to fight. Starro is bliss, Starro is..."

CLONG! Gatomon brought down the mace full force on Superman's head. He hung there for a moment, before collapsing on the deck, face first. "I just knocked out Superman." Gatomon flapped her wings slowly. "That is going to cost me major karma points."

Gomamon was still shaking his flippers and blowing on. "I think that's the lot..." The seal did a mental recount of the superheroes he saw. "Wait, did you get Batman?"

"No, but he doesn't have any powers." The feline seemed unconcerned. As far as she knew Batman was just a guy with some fancy toys.

"Dude, the one thing I realized from the comics, don't ever underestimate Batman!" The seal look a bit concerned. "Anyway, we need to find a way out of here!" He started moving down the hall, running in his weird seal gallop, propelling himself with his front flippers. "There's probably a teleporter somewhere here if it is anything like the comic or show." The seal remembered as he turned the corner, Gatomon hot on his heels.

"And what if the entire galaxy is like this?" Gatomon flew behind with uncanny skill. Like archery, it seemed flying came to her naturally thanks to her higher form. "All starfishified? Where exactly can we go?"

"One problem at a time." He into a large hangar capable of holding a dozen starships from visiting worlds, transport, and so on. Right now, the giant room was filled with superbeings. Villains and heroes... All now servants of Starro. Creatures made of fire and magic, ice and metal. Robots and cyborgs, aliens and humans. The air was filled with them held aloft by wings, energy or magic. All of them had the purple five-armed alien sea creatures latched firmly to their heads. And in front of them all, next to the teleporter, stood Batman. "Ah. The next problem..." He had spent the whole time calling for backup. These last two beings were the greatest threat to Starro; if only because they were the only threat left in the universe. He turned around slowly. "Starro is impressed. You will now be his generals."

"All this for us?" Gatomon's eyes darted left and right, trying to pick out who would be the biggest problem. But it was too much, it overwhelmed even her.

"You are the greatest threat Starro has had in years... small as you may be, you are the only beings not one with Starro. For now." Batman held out a hand, a squirming, mindless star fish in it. Its central red eye blinked at them, eager to convert the new arrivals. "Join us, you can't fight the inevitable."

Gatomon and Gomamon looked to one another. "We're digimon." Gomamon said confidently. "Fighting the inevitable is our job description."

************************************************************************

To say there had been a fight would have been generous. Beams of energy from a hundred green lanterns--not to mention all the other colours, including a few that did not exist in their own universe--held them immobile as Batman walked forward, a starfish in each hand. The seal struggled to no avail. He looked to Gatomon... the words he longed to say coming back. Looks like now or never again... "Gatomon... I am sorry... I just want to say..."

"It's okay..." Gatomon turned her head, not wanting to see the starfish coming.

"No... I got to say..." Batman was too close now... the starfish' tendrils reaching out to the pair's chests. No... after all that... to lose to a star fish! Some brainless sea life... Gomamon's eyes flashed as he felt the starfish start to latch out. "Stop!" He shouted with authority.

Both of the starfish suddenly started to twitch, their tentacles spasming wildly. Gatomon turned her head and looked confusedly to Gomamon. The seal had a look of such concentration. "What... what's happening?"

Gomamon didn't answer. He just thought harder. "Get back!" He shouted again, with more conviction.

Batman dropped both starfish. The one on his chest started to screech with an unseen mouth. "What... what are you doing... st... stop!"

The seal squinted his eyes. He could hold a few back... but not all of them. The legion of heroes and villains moved forward. If I only had a little more power... The seal struggled, knowing this would not last, then suddenly he slammed his flipper down on the Sheep symbol, still using his ability to fight the sea creatures... his mind was everywhere now... spreading out. He could feel Starro's vast grasp... "Stop!" He shouted yet again, trying to reach all the sea life here... all those starfish. Blood trickled from his unconscious nose. He could just taste the edge of Starro's conscience. It was completely alien... but it was a type of sea life. And he could control sea life.

The entire hangar bay was filled with the screeches of Starro starfish. Tentacles started to flail as some starfish detached. "Keep it up Gomamon!" Gatomon broke free with a flourish of her wings, the energy that held her shattering. The green lanterns fell to the ground like sacks of potatoes. They were the most vulnerable: their power was based on concentration.

"I will... I will stop you!" Batman moved forward, a batarang in his gloved hand. Already his mind was muddled as two different thought processes started to battle it out.

"No you won't!" Gatomon soared, the mace connecting with its target. Batman went flying back, crumbling to the ground a good twenty feet away. The feline avenger held the line to protect the only one capable of putting an end to Starro's bane.

Gomamon was only dimly aware of Gatomon fighting. His mind was too vast... he had never used astral projection like this. Starro was screaming a thousand times over in his mind now as it tried to resist his command. A blood vessel burst in his remaining eye. The alien voice in his head now produced words, although it remained strained, unused to communicating as opposed to imposing its will. We are Starro! We do not obey you! You obey us!

Gatomon swatted down some green chick made of fire that had gotten too close. She was bouncing from target to target, giving her friend the time she needed. Wonder Woman actually got a shaky hand on Gomamon's tail before the winged feline swatted her off. The seal was growling, speaking out loud. "I don't... obey anybody." His face was contorted in a terrifying grimace. "Release them!" He shouted, both out loud and in his mind.

The room exploded with such a high pitch squeals that Gatomon fell to her knees, clutching her ears. The starfish arms flailed madly, releasing their captors and falling to the ground like leaves. Gomamon took it the worst of all. The alien life forced howled in pain and anger in his mind forcing it to shut off completely.

************************************************************************

Gomamon slowly woke up to find himself hooked up to wires and IVs. His head was pounding with the worst headache he ever had. And after that last dimensional travel, he almost wished he were dead. It took him several minutes to be able to produce a thought. That thought was: "I am waking up in hospital beds way too much."

"You're awake." A bright light shone in Gomamon's good eye, checking for pupil dilation. "What's your name? Where were you born? How old are you?"

"Gomamon. Inside a computer. And I stopped counting my birthdays after the third millennium. It got too depressing." Gomamon answered, moving a paw in front of his eye so he could focus on his care giver. "And if you don't mind Batman, I've got a splitting headache."

"Huh." Batman lowered his light. "Sounds like a concussion. And possible signs of brain damage." The swelling of his face was visible even through his mask.

"Yeah, He really is a digital millennium old avatar." The seal became aware someone was holding his flipper. "We both are." Gatomon was sitting on the bed with him, her bare paws wrapped around his flipper. She had removed the metal gauntlets, wanting to be closer to her friend. Twin scars criss crossed the back of one of her palms... and for once, she didn't care if anyone saw them. She then gave Gomamon a bit of a sly grin. "Though I would n't rule out brain damage."

Gomamon couldn't help but chuckle at the little barb to his ego. "And honestly, in your line of work, is it really the weirdest thing you ever heard?" He asked Batman, though he was still looking at the feline, feeling a touch flushed.

Batman made just the slightest nod of his head. "Good point."

Gomamon gave Gatomon's paw a bit of a tighter squeeze without thinking... noticing the scars again. But he didn't say anything. He just drank the moment of peace for a moment. "What happened?" The seal finally asked, his head still muddled.

"You managed to disrupt Starro's control somehow, while your friend Gatomon here managed to hold off a super powered army ." Batman continued to check on the savior. "I would like to know how you managed to free us from Starro."

"Oh yeah... One of my powers. I control minor forms of sea life. Usually not the most useful power..." Gomamon started to sit up. "Oh wow..." The room started spinning as he started to fall back into the bed.

Gatomon caught him half way, easing him down. "Gently now Gomamon... I think you deserve a rest after that."

"I'd prefer if you remain in bed for now Gomamon." Batman spoke with his must obey me tone, making it sound like an order than a request. "You mental power strained you, and I like to finish running the medical scans for some more thorough data. It also seems your own psychic energy bled over to those closest to you."

"What do you mean?"

"I have an intense craving for blue gill fish for one." Batman replied as he attached the diodes to Gomamon's temples. "Fire, who was next to you, can't stop listening to the band Greenday." The dark knight continued. "Hopefully it is temporary, but even if it isn't it is still is a small price to play." He went on in his deep monotone voice. "The scans will complete in two hours. Feel free to sleep if you require it. I will inform your friend of your condition." Batman had a lot of other problem, disposing of the comatose star fish, dealing with a society fresh from decades of mind slavery. Only a few heroes were left on the station as a precaution to protect the seal and cat visitors. They may be needed again if somehow Starro managed to leave a backup plan.

"I'll leave you to." The white feline stood up on the bed, content to see the seal was all right. "Hawkgirl wanted to meet up with me, and you probably need a sleep." Gatomon smiled and ran her paw over his head, taking a moment to adjust his slightly askew eyepatch. "You keep out of trouble."

"I'll try." Gomamon laid his head back and closed his eyes, enjoying Gatomon's tender touch. His head was still pounding. He did hear Batman leave with his feline companion, hearing the door shut behind him. He tried to catch a nap... though A couple of minutes later he heard someone else enter, the metal door slide open and close with a faint hiss. "Hmmm?" He cocked his head to the side, noticing the buxom warrior princess come in. "Oh heya." He smiled, noticing that Wonder Women had a rather impressive shiner on her right eye. "Umm... I would like to point out Gatomon gave you that black eye and not me."

"Do not worry about it. It is a battle wound I wear proudly." Wonder Woman touched her eye, half swollen shut. "You are some warriors, you and your feline friend. I could count the number of foes who could stand alone against the Justice League on one hand."

"Thanks." The seal leaned on his back as Wonder Woman walked around his bed. He really hoped he hadn't made enemies of any of these superheroes.

"I am here to properly thank you for saving us." The dark-haired princess spoke with regality as she stood at the head of his bed. The seal looked almost comical in a bed designed for someone four times bigger, like a little plush doll.

"Well I admit I was trying to save our own hides..." Gomamon arched his head back to look at her. "You guys were just luck-hello nurse!"

Gomamon found himself looking up at the nicest pair of breasts he had ever seen, for Wonder Woman had taken off her red and gold top. "Perhaps... But you still deserve a reward." She placed her hands on the seal's shoulders, rubbing them softly. She leaned over, his red head mohawk sliding up and down her perfect cleavage.

"Whoa, whoa... I mean... not that I don't appreciate the most perfect, most wonderful tits ever..." The seal sweatdropped a bit. "But um, I'll settle for an autographed 8 x 10 and maybe some wallet-size..."

"Oh I can feel, how you need this reward Gomamon." She moved her strong hands downwards, rubbing them over his chest and down to his belly. "And saving our universe, freeing us from Starro deserves the biggest reward I can give."

Geeze! The seal squirmed, starting to get aroused. How come I could never get it this easy when I was looking for it!? "Ummm Batman said there was some kinda psychic feedback or something or other... I think you might have gotten a bit of my... um... promiscuity." His dick started to emerge... He could not hold himself back. Those giant breasts against the back of his head made it difficult at best. "He said it was temporary..." Wonder Woman moved around to the foot of the bed, lying down on top of it. Her strong hands reached down, and grabbed the emerging seal prick as it slid out. "I don't suppose you can just wait a bit..." He squirmed some more, his cock soon at its full length.

"I need this too." She stroked the cock up and down. Her hand strength was incredible... But she had totally control. "I have not had sex for many seasons thanks to Starro. And you certainly look willing."

Geeze! You're Wonder motherfucking Woman, lady! Who would NOT get a hard on? "Well come on... you've got the world's most perfect tits! How could I not be erect?!" He squirmed a bit as he was soon at full hardness. "You know... for a woman who grew up around nothing but women, you show know how to give a hand job!"

"That's not all." She let go of the seal's penis. She leaned over the edge of the bed and placed her breasts around the cock. She pushed her tits together, making a tight seal.

"Oh fuck!" The seal groan as he began to tit fuck the horny amazon. He had done girls in just about every way possible way... but had never had a titfuck before. Of course, most digimon had tiny breasts if at all. And Japanese girls... were rarely gifted in that area. The titfuck though, was as tight as any ass or pussy he had ever done.

The Amazon continued to pump the cock in her cleavage moving up and down. Soon he was dripping precum into the flawless skin. She was from Greek Mythology, where the gods would often take the forms of swans, bulls, and more. A seal certainly wasn't out of the ordinary for her. "Oh yes, my warrior pinniped. Unleash that powerful seed of yours."

Gomamon groaned louder. Even in his tired weakened state, he couldn't help but hump. Plus with that kind of talk boosting his ego... Any thoughts of denying her quickly passed... not that it would be a good idea to refuse someone who could probably crush his cock into a gooey paste with these same boobs. "Oh by the gods... Keep it up." He leaned back into the bed, getting closer and closer. It wasn't too long before he blew his load under Wonder Woman's chin.

"Oh such potent seed." The black haired goddess smiled as she stood up straight. The sperm made a little white river down her chest to her belly button. "You must have sired many a powerful warrior."

"Fuck, I hope not." The seal panted, lying with his flippers splayed on the mattress. "I am way too irresponsible for parenthood." He looked over to the super heroine without raising his head. "Oh geeze."

Wonder Woman had taken off the rest of her suit. Her pussy had a meticulously trimmed swatch of curly black pubic hair. She still had on those knee high red leather boots... which only made it hotter. "I am not done with you yet."

The seal watched as the tall goddess climbed on the bed, straddling him with those legs that seemed to have no ending. "You're...um... not the kind who take no for an answer, are you?" Gomamon could not help but feel a touch intimated.

"Amazons aren't used to being refused by mortal men." She replied as she grinded against his hard cock a few times. "Many a man would give their very lives for even a chance." She said as she continued to arouse the seal. It was really all Gomamon needed to get a second erection, which she promptly slipped inside herself.

"I... noticed!" The digimon let out a groan as the vice of a vagina squeezed down on his shaft. He was drained already. He had just saved the entire universe for one, not to mention came once in the Amazonian cleavage. Without the horse to replenish his energy, that was already approaching his limit. But his own body seemed to disagree, judging by the throbbing boner.

"Yes my warrior pinniped." Wonder Woman groaned. The entire room vibrated with their twin groans. The hospital bed rocked under the strain. A normal bed would have broken, but the entire medical ward was designed to handle injured superheroes, and even restrain them if need be. It still felt like it was going to shatter under the force, or if not the bed, his own pelvis.

The seal was pretty much letting Wonder Woman have her way with him now. He didn't even have the energy to thrust up anymore. But he felt the second orgasm building up, slowly, surely... Like a freight train picking up speed. He soon reached the point of no return, his balls exploding in liquid bliss. He felt all his energy drain out, along with a small helping of seal jizz. He groaned softly, not nearly as much "Uhhh!" Gomamon closed his eyes and arched his head back, cumming a second time.

"Mmmm yes..." He moaned softly. Normally he may have had a third or even a fourth left in him... but after using his mental power to bring the psychic link of an alien sea creature... He was at his limit. "Oh... man... I am spent..."

"You may be... but I am still not done with you seal." Wonder Woman's cunt squeezed down on the semi limp dick still soaking inside her cum filled woman hood.

Another deep gasp from the furry universe savior. "I um... don't suppose you've ever heard the expression death by snoo-snoo?'"

"No."

"Didn't think so..." The seal whimpered as she started rocking again.

************************************************************************

Many, many, many matings later...

"Yeah..." Gomamon was flat on his back on the hospital bed, unable to move. He had no feeling below his nonexistent waist. "I am never walking again."

************************************************************************

The sparring room seemed to flash on and off with a strobe like effect. Two warriors were locked in mortal combat. Every time the two maces collided it shot out a series of electric blasts.

"Fall!" Hawkgirl shouted as she swung her mace again and again. She was a Thanagarian, a humanoid alien with a pair of grey eagle like wings stretched out from her back. She flew with total control... and yet her opponent, who had never donned this weaponry till this day, matched her move to move. "I will not fall to a feline!"

"Come on!" Gatomon may have been a third of Hawkgirl's size, but with the Thanagarian gauntlet's amplifying her strength and speed, she was easily her match. "Cats eat birds like you!" Their maces collided again. The handle vibrated in her paws, but she held tight. The two of them didn't even notice they had a spectator as they continued to swap trash talk.

Gomamon had managed to drag himself out of bed, despite Batman's orders... He was actually worried Wonder Women would have another burst of lust and succeed into crushing his pelvis to a fine powder. At least she had the decency to clean him up once she was done... he didn't want to have to explain the mess to the Dark Knight. "Whoa..." He watched as Gatomon flew with such grace. He had seen the feline digivolve to the blonde angel Angewomon... but that was usually in the heat of battle. He never had a chance to just watch her in action.

"Greayyyahhh!" Hawkgirl let out a battle cry that sounded like a falcon's cry.

Gatomon narrowly dodged, the spikes on the mace just skirting her cheek. At the same time her tail whipped out, encircling the handle of the metal weapon and pulling hard. Hawkgirl was not prepared for this kind of attack. She was yanked forward in midair, just as Gatomon's own mace came down on the centre of her back. Only a portion of her strength, yet still enough to send the flying warrior down to the metallic ground hard.

Hawkgirl lay on her stomach for a moment, slowly getting up. Gomamon expected to see her enraged... but she was smiling. Almost ecstatic with battle lust. She took off her golden bird helmet, a swatch of fire red hair falling to her shoulders. "I have never seen someone so... in tune with Thanagarian weaponry." Hawkgirl wiped her sweaty brow once. "We were born for those wings and it still takes us years to learn... You donned them and instantly took to the skies."

"You may be born for wings." The feline smiled as she landed without a sound. "The ones I have are part of my body..." She smiled, thinking of her angelic six-winged form. "I was made for them."

"Yeah... I'll say." Gomamon smiled from the corner, giving them a wave from the doorway.

"Goma!" Gatomon dropped her Nth metal mace, coming over to pick up the seal. "The savior of the galaxy!" She smirked and twirled him in a little circle.

"You're going to make me blush." He snickered, still a bit light headed.

"Then you are really going to hate the statues they are planning to build for you on Earth, and apparently a few hundred other alien planets you saved." Gatomon chuckled and paced him down on the ground. She waved her paw out in front of her. "I can see it now... Gomamon, larger than life, standing on a pile of starro's, looking magestically to the stars!"

"I was trying to save my own furry butt!" The seal rubbed the back of his head, blushing a bit. "The universe just happened to be in the way."

"You're rich some times." Gatomon chuckled a bit. "You did have me worried though. You were out for a while But we've made some progress. I gave the Justice League the tracking statue... they are going to search for the power for us." The feline smiled. "Apparently they thought we could use the break."

"It is the least we can do... Your power freed everyone on the station, and seemed to have disabled every Starro fish for light years. It simply couldn't handle the backlash." Hawkgirl has her helmet under her arm and her mace clipped to her belt. "Apparently your power is on Earth. Superman himself is on the search. He will track down the power in no time flat."

"Awesome." The seal smiled. He really wasn't up to tracking down another power. It helps to have a superhero or ten in your debt.

The feline grinned, thinking for a moment. "I don't suppose I can keep this gear?" Gatomon asked hopefully. "Long story short, I lost a good chunk of my powers." She tapped the mace in her paw a few times. "This certainly would help on our little quest."

"As saviors of our universe, I don't see why n-" Hawkgirl started to say before she was interrupted.

"Because Nth metal has some magical properties." The seal interrupted with a sigh. "Our portal is magic... who knows what could happen. And I don't think we'd want to risk scrambling our molecules or something."

The feline leaned over to Gomamon's ear. "Just how many comics do you read?" She whispered softly. She thought it wasn't a good idea to tell everyone they knew about them as mere comic book characters.

Hawkgirl nodded. "He's right though." She taped the mace handle on her side. "These innate magical properties were why you could knock out Superman so easily.

"Yeah, 'easily'." Gatomon replied sarcastically. "Oh well. It came in handy here." She smiled and slowly took off the golden helmet. "But it was nice to be able to stretch my wings." That got a groan from both others.

The power ended up in some superhero fighter named Dove. The blue- and white-garbed bird-themed fighter gave up the power with no hassle whatsoever. Gomamon was quite happy to recover the Rooster, always one of his favorites. He couldn't even remember going through the portal when he woke up. Gatomon was already looking around the new world, but staying close to protect him. "So?" Gomamon groaned, eyes half lidded. "Status?"

"Normal human-seeming universe. No surprises so far." Gatomon summed up. She held out the statue, which pointed at the nearest building. "And I think what we're looking for is n that laboratory over there." She looked back at the seal with a smile. "I hope there aren't mad scientists at this Acme lab."

Yeah I know I already did Tiny Toons, but I am decreeing the Animaniacs verse o be a separate one :D Time for another fun universe! I promise, the next few are going to be quite light-hearted. And I know on the cartoon show Hawkgirl's wings are biological, but in the comics they are detachable. I went with the latter simply because I get off on dressing Gatomon up! Again, feel free to comment on this site, or contact me at email on [email protected] or on MSN or AIM as mrredrover. I also do give previews of stories. I often work several stories ahead in this series.
