Highschool Romance
The hybrid sighed as he sat in class. The teacher went on about the world wars, how they caused problems for everyone. Kingdrin only sighed watching the clock tick slowly, they day dragged on for hours. the half dragon half tiger stood a good six feet even. He was seventeen and graduating this year, seceretly he was excited and could not wait for the year to be over.
Kingdrin was a quiet guy at school, sure he had friends and always talked with them. But with everyone else, they were just a waste of his time. Being a straight A student, you think he would be hanging out with other students like him. But he doesn;t want to be known as the school's pride. His friends were partiers and they weren't passing anything.
King was just the same, but he was working towards a life long career. he had a plan to open up a night club and make it into a famous nightclub where famous actors,singers etc. Would come to party, but it was all just a few years away.
The bell suddenly rung and King jumped up first and gathered his books quick and left the class. He moved fast through the large crowd of furs and humans. Being a fur with humans around was hard, but a sucssesful fur was even harder. He had plans and very few furs made them selves hightime rollers, as the kids call it in highschool.
King got to his locker and threw his backpack into it, grabbed his board and slammed the locker door shut. He walked through the lunch room and out the side door. He smirked seeing his friends where they usually were. The smoking pit, he walked over and gave them all the usual paw shake.
"Yo! King man, we got a party this weekend. We need a DJ. You free?" The large doberman asked.
"heh, dude i am always free for Djing." King said with a smirk.
"Sweet man! Hey mabey your boyfriend will be there." A collie bugged.
King only snorted abit, gave the collie a glare.
"look just because your a homophobe, doesn;t mean you can pick on Benji." King growled.
"What ever man, since he came out he has been nothing but a cock sucker. Always starin at my shit in the gym lockers." The collie snorted as he exhaled smoke from his nostrils.
King only shook his head and felt his cell phone go off. He sighed and took it out reading the text.
"Fuck...how the hell did my sister figure out there was a party?" King asked out loud.
"Oh, sorry King. I invited her." A young feeret said nervously.
King looked up and gave the usual glare like an old brother. The ferret meeped and lowered his head. King was protective of his sister. Even knowing they weren't really bother and sister. Their parents met one night as they found both their kids at an underground party. King was the Dj and his sister was just dancing with others.
"Don;t worry about it man. Just make sure she is okay? I mean it Dan." King said.
"Yeah, I will King." Dan said with a sigh of relief.
King knew Dan had a huge crush on his sister. He didn;t really care because his sister was almost all over him at parties. Too bad the kid never took a hint.
King Sighed and waved bye to them and he took off on his board, going down hill picked up his speed and he swurved through the crowd of furs and humans. He grunted as he was suddenly knocked over by a human boy. King growled slightly as he was getting up, only to feel something hit his back and pin him down.
"Well hello freak!" the boy said with a grin.
"Fuck sakes Will. What is your problem?" King growled as he looked over his shoulder trying to get up.
Will was the school jock, he hated furs because his dad and him were hunters. They hunted things from deer to bears. Be assured they were feral not anthro's.
"My problem is animals like you going to our school." Will chuckled.
"Will, stop!" A voice shouted.
The human looked over to see a dalmation walking over. The dal stood at five feet nine inches, he wore a deep V cut sweater and wore tight jeans. King looked over and went wide eyed.
"Benji, get out of here!!" King shouted.
Benji only whimpered being the highschool champion of the hundred meter dash, swim team champ. He was a athletic boy. Slim and toned to a point. Benji was the coolest kid with the girls, he never had any guys like him because of that. When he came out, they guys both fur and humans always picked on him. King was his friend since they were kids, he was always there to protect him.
"Heh, or what faggot? You gunna pull my hair?" Will said as he laughed.
"No, I will talk to that security gaurd." Benji said pointing to the gaurd who was walking towards the group.
Will suddenly took his foot off of king's back and took a few steps back. King growled getting up and dusting himself off. The large human guard looked at them and stopped.
"Something wrong boys?" He said with a coarse voice.
"Not at all rent-a-cop." Will said with a snicker.
"Will, you little shit. I can get you espelled from this school with one simple word. You know I can do it!" The human gaurd shouted.
Will only chuckled as he shook his head and pushed the guy away and pointed to a sign that said: end of school zone. The gaurd only snorted.
"Your fucking lucky." He said walking away.
King smirked as he noticed the sign. As soon as Will turned to face him once again. King had kicked him in the chin, making Will lift from the ground and land on his back. King's hind paw was up in the air way past his head.Benji gasped and ran towards king and stood infront of him, King stood there and smirked a bit.
"Benji stay out of this." King said.
"No, I won;t let you fight again king." Benji whimpered.
King sighed looking to the Dal's eyes and only nodded as he then gasped feeling arms grab him and put him into a submission hold. He was down on one knee, his head locked between the arms. He gasped for air, he knew this lock and he growled as he then leaned forward and lifted up and jumped up landing on the person behind him.
A large grunt was heard and king got up coughing quickly. He looked to Will who was winded from the hard landing. They both gasped and glared at each other. Will balled his fists and launched himself towards the animal. King was hit in the face with the punch, he went dazed and he stumbled a bit and countered with another kick to the humans skull. They both landed on the ground once again.
Benji yelped being grabbed by another human. King heard that and snarled seeing his friend being thrown to the side hitting the curb. He was dazed but his adrenalin kicked in and he launched himself at the other human. He threw a series of punches and each one hit. The human male grunted and hit the road out cold. King panted as he then looked back to Will, who pulled out a knife.
Benji was getting up from the hit to his head. His vision blurred and his nose was bleeding. He whimpered looking back to where he heard grunts, fists hitting. He couldn;t make anything out but blurry figures moving about.
King deflected the knife with a block, he kneed Will in the gut. Will coughed up blood and still held the knife. A crowd was building seeing the two fight. They all cheered and pleaded the fight to keep going.
King was panting as he had a cut across his cheek, he winced from the pain but didn't care as he was now in a fight for his life. Will yelled as he tried to stab the fur, King went for another block. But from being winded and sore, he only just deflected the blow. But was hit with a sharp pain in his chest. He went wide eyed and looked down to see the blade had just missed him. But cut him once again, Willed pulled back and laughed as he punched the fur.
King went down, he knew this was it. But then, he heard something that would usually be a bad thing. But this time good. Serins wailed as they approached, Will heard them and immedeatly put his knife away and took a few steps back. Police officers stepped out, furs and human police officers.
"Hands up!" one shouted holding a pistol.
Will put his hands up and only smirked at King. King was panting, holding his side as blood seeped through his shirt. He only watched as a fur cop arrested him. They pulled himaway from the crowd and searched him. Finding the blade.Will was put into the car and then a ambulance soon showed up and went to King's side.
"We are paramedics. We are here to help." One female human said to king.
King only nodded as he laid there. Benji whimpered coming to his side after regaining his vision and all. King only smiled to Benji as the medic's lifted him up and walked him to the vehicle.
A few hours later, King was in the emergancy room getting stitched up. His cheek was just covered with a gauze, his side was being stitched up by a female dingo. She was talking about how lucky the blade just missed his lung. King only stayed quiet. He saw benji being tended too by a male nurse, He was watching Benji to make sure he was alright.
"You love him don't you?" The Female dingo said.
"What?" King said looking to her.
"I see that look in your eyes. Your worried about him. You love him don;t you?" She said with a comforting smile.
King looked at her like she was crazy. But it hit him, is he really in love with his best friend. He looked back at Benji, who smiled to him to show he was alright. King only stared at him, that made Benji blink alittle worried. King then sighed as he looked to the nurse.
"Hey, its alright. I won;t tell him. It's too bad too, your really cute.' She said with a smile.
King only shook his head as he then seen his sister walk in. She ran to his side quickly.
"Fuck sakes King, what happened this time with you and Will?!" the female jackle asked.
"Heh, He was full of hormones again." King said with a smirk.
The jackle only shook her head as she then noticed Benji too was being cleaned up and bandaged. She gasped.
"Oh my god! Benji what happened?!" She whimpered rushing to her gay best friends side.
"Nothing Just Ted threw me to the ground. I hit the curb." Benji said with a nervouse smile. "I am fine really Sasha."
Sasha sighed and hugged Benji close. She petted his head gently as she kissed his cheek.
"Alright, but you should come over so I can keep an eye on you both." Sasha said with concern.
Benji only giggled as he nodded. Soon the three walked outside to a cab that was waiting.
A few minutes later they pulled up to a large three story house. King walked up to the front door and went inside. King went straight to his room and changed into something else, He winced lifting his arm up. The stitched tugged abit at the gauze.
Benji whimpered abit.
"you okay King?" Benji asked as he walked over to help him.
"Yeah i am fine." King said as he put the fresh shirt on.
Suddenly as he turned around they both gasped as their noses touched. Benji blushed as he pulled away. King was blushing too as he too took a step back.
"S-sorry.."King said.
"It's okay.."Benji said with a sigh.
Benji was in love with King for as long as he could remember. He just didn;t know King was also gay. King never came out and he had girlfriends before. but they never did anything, and the girls never could figure out why. They all thought he was just the type of guy to find the right girl.
King walked back down stairs and went to his laptop to work on the new tunes for the party. Sasha was giggling away on the phone with her friends. King Kept quiet but hated how his sister talked so much, Benji giggled and sat down between the two and watched his shows.
Night rolled around and king stretched, only to growl in pain as he held his side.
"Fuck..."King mumbled.
Benji was asleep on the couch curled up into a ball like usual. King only chuckled as he shut his laptop off and grabbed a spare blanket for the dal. He tucked the Dal in. King blinked looking to his friend and he only sighed.
"I wish I could tell you, but I don;t want to ruin what we got." King said as he then leaned in and kissed the canine's forehead.
King lowered his ears and walked to his room and went to bed himself. Benji was laying there awake hearing what King just said. Made him look to the hybrids bedroom door and only whimper slightly.
"he...he didn;t just say what think he said?" Benji whispered to himself.
