Disclaimer: I don't own pokemon, although I seriously wish I did. All the songs are my own so don't steal them. Characters are my own too although some of them are based on certain people, however slightly but hey that's called drawing inspiration.

Chapter 1

Only a few months earlier explorers had located a new continent, on it they found people already living there. The people had evolved a completely different society and trainers were advised to refrain from travelling there until they understood each other in order to prevent any possible hostilities. Needless to say trainers ignored the warnings and travelled there anyway. One group of people that went was The Howl from Beyond, a symphonic metal band from Johto. It was only six members and all their equipment was in one special caravan that could open its one entire side and be fitted with an extra stage outcropping so that the group could play wherever they felt like. They had grown bored of playing for the same people all the time so had left for adventure. Each of them was a skilled trainer in their own right although they each only had one pokemon.

"Kinda depressing place, eh?" asked Daron, looking out the windscreen of the truck.

"Good thing we showed up then," answered Dani.

The city was made mostly out of grey concrete and there was a large amount of smoke hanging around. Further away it was possible to glimpse the large manors of the richer noblemen.

"That looks like a good place to set up," observed Dani, turning the truck towards an open patch of ground.

"You think these people like good music?" asked Daron.

They'll learn to if they don't," commented Dani.

His voice sounded soft and calm so it never ceased to amaze Daron that when he sang Dani was capable of a most varied amount of sounds.

"I'll tell everyone we've reached a spot then."

Dani nodded as Daron left the cabin of the truck and moved into the second compartment.

The truck was divided into three sections. The cabin for two people where you could drive, the living compartment which was very cramped where everyone slept and spent their time and the back three-quarters of the truck which housed their instruments and the whole fold-away stage.

"Rise and shine everyone," said Daron as he entered the living compartment.

"What's up?" asked Brian.

"Dani's found a place for us to play. We need to go advertise."

"I'll set up," muttered Rei emotionlessly.

"Me too. Can't let anyone else mess up my drums," Rick informed them.

"Yeah, I'll stay too," added Brian.

"Sorry," apologised Daron, "But I'm staying and so's Dani. We can't have so few people advertising. Kirsten and Brian, you'll have to go advertise."

"You don't have to stay as well," complained Brian, "It doesn't take four people to start setting up."

"Staying," repeated Rei.

"Like I said, drums, man."

"What!" exclaimed Daron, "I don't want go." He looked at Rick, "Come on. You don't have to tune drums."

"I need them properly positioned," explained Rick, "Don't worry. Dani can tune a guitar."

Daron sighed but gave up, "Fine, I'll go mix with you locals."

They felt the truck slow down and then stop.

"Let's go see where we are," suggested Brain.

When everyone climbed out of the truck Dani was already standing outside, his waist-length coal-grey hair slowly flicking around him. His Mightyena was by his side, stretching after the long stay in his pokeball. Dani absent-mindedly reached down and scratched his pokemon's head.

"What you guys think?" he asked.

They looked around. They were parked on the edge of a field, right on the edge of the town so it would be easy for people to get to them.

"Seems fine," commented Kirsten lightly as she released Ninetails.

The beautiful white fox yawned and sniffed the dirty air.

"She's right. It stinks here," commented Rick, "They're using combustion to power stuff."

"It won't hurt if we don't stay too long," said Dani, "One performance then we blow this place and find another set of fans."

"Assuming they have any interest in us," stated Brian.

Dani shrugged and turned back to the truck.

"I'll start setting up. Who's helping?"

"Me,' said Rei.

"Coming," added Rick.

"Then we'll see the rest of you later. We'll play at seven. Be here by six."

"Gotcha," confirmed Brian.

As Kristen and Ninetails walked through the streets calling out the information about the show they received an unusually high number of stares. And Kirsten was sure it wasn't just her deep red dress and powdered white face that contrasted so sharply with her jet-black hair. She began to get suspicious and noticed that almost all of the looks focused the longest on Ninetails.

"Now why are they staring at you?" she asked Ninetails.

Ninetails shrugged.

"Either your species isn't common here or..." Kirsten looked around, "or not many people have pokemon," she concluded.

It was true. As she walked through the town she saw no sign of pokemon. Not even pictures on the posters or signs on the buildings.

"Now that's odd."

"How'd you like to see the darkest, most perfect embodiment of pure undiluted metal?" shouted out Brian.

"We'll see you at seven by the field on the side of town. Leave the fogies and babes on bed while we soothe your wild side with the howls from beyond!" finished Daron.

None of the dirty and tired people looked up.

"Are they even hearing us?" asked Brian.

"No idea," answered Daron, "But there certainly seems to be a lack of response."

"I've seen more responses in a morgue," countered Brian, "And I'm talking about from the stiffs. These people are certainly not normal."

"Search me. But Dani'll be really upset if we come back saying no one seemed interested."

"Point taken," chuckled Brian, "Come on people! I said the ultimate music experience. Live and free for all of you!"

"How'd you think it's going to go?" Dani asked Rick.

He shrugged, "No idea. We don't know anything about these people."

"That's why it's fun," explained Dani, "We don't know anything.

Rei played a series of haunting notes on her keyboard as her espeon used her psychic powers to manipulate the digital effects.

"Sounds good," Dani called out encouragingly.

Rei glanced at her two fellow performers and nodded briefly before returning to her practice.

"Doesn't she ever speak?" mused Rick.

"Nope," snorted Dani, "I think she talks to Espeon though."

"Psychically?"

"Obviously. I mean she always looks so disconnected. Especially when we play."

"Maybe Espeon is possessing her," joked Rick.

The light coloured cat shot him a glare but never faltered in its management of Rei's playing.

"Jolt!" barked Rick's Jolteon.

Rick looked up from where he was attaching the front of the stage to the truck.

"Finished charging the batteries?" asked Rick.

"Jolt!" barked his pokemon.

Everything in the truck, including the truck, ran on electricity supplied by Rick's jolteon and stored in large batteries. Suddenly the air was filled with a violent guitar rift as Dani checked that he'd tuned Daron's guitar correctly. Dani didn't play, only sang and wrote the songs, but he knew how to play every single instrument the band used. Not as well as the members that specialised in them but well enough to cover for them if one of them got sick.

"That's pretty much everything then," sighed Dani, "Now we wait."

It was just a few minutes before seven and a rather large crowd had turned out to see The Howl from Beyond's performance.

"That's a lot more people than we expected," admitted Daron, "No one seemed to be paying us any attention."

"Were your pokemon out?" asked Kirsten curiously.

"No. Why?" replied Daron.

Everyone was staring at Ninetails while I was out. And I didn't see any other pokemon out there."

"That's a point admitted Brian. I never saw any Pokemon either."

"Maybe they're rare here," suggested Dani, "But no time to think of that. Let's get out there."

Dani came out first. He was wearing skin-tight black tracksuit pants, a tight black T-shirt and had a pair of black, feathered wings strapped to his back. His hair flowed freely and around his waist and wrapped along each arm was a chain. Mightyena walked beside him onto the stage.

Kirsten came second in her red dress. Ninetails also accompanied her.

Rick came next, alone. Jolteon stayed out of sight in case they began to run low on power. Rick wore tight leather clothes and had a large rusted chain as a belt. He sat down at the drums and picked up his sticks.

Rei, accompanied by Espeon came next. She was wearing a white leotard with pink tubing that matched the colour of both her hair and her pokemon. The two quietly made their way to the keyboard.

Daron walked onto stage, holding his electric guitar. He also wore a black tracksuit and around his neck was a thin, silver, chain collar with a unique symbol hanging from it. His absol, who wasn't involved in the band, wore the partner to it.

Lastly came Brian with his bass guitar. He wore a leather biker's get up with many skull images on his jacket. He plugged his bass in at the same time as Daron plugged his guitar in.

"Alright people," greeted Dani, his voice harsher now for his stage performance, "It's good to see so many of you out here. I know you'll enjoy yourself so get up and go wild!"

His eyes swept over the crowd. Almost all of them were poor people dressed in not much more than rags but on one side was a small group of people in much more luxurious outfits. There was also an open ring around them in which none of the poorer people seemed to want to enter.

"Our first number today is Necrotic Awakening!"

As he finished Rei began with the keyboard, its sounds echoing and imitating that of an organ. Espeon added in the faint overtones of thunder brewing in the background and after a few seconds Rick began to play the drums and start the beat.

At the same time as Rick began playing Kirsten began to sing slowly, "I. I can feel your desires. Painting my face with blood wetted strokes. Your caress on my flesh stirs memories from long ago. And through the ancient past I've awaited your coming. Raise me from the earth and bring me to life. Once more!"

Then the music burst to life. Everything came together and Dani began his part. It was more growled and shouted than sung though and performed at a speed that left his audience far behind.

"Filth and fevers! Rotten graves are filled! Bursting worth with gore from wars! Your dreams die unfulfilled!

"Necromantic, sorcerer of the damned. Use your ancient powers now take the souls from stained soil! Raise the queen of ages passed, let her rule come anew!"

The music flowed forth more, a mixture of dark classical sounds and violent electric guitar screeches. Mightyena drew in a breath and as the music died let forth a long and mournful howl.

"Hear the cry of the forest," echoed Kirsten's voice, "It longs for my return. Sorcery raise me from the dead and usher in a new yet ancient reign."

"Souls of fallen I present them to you!" screeched Dani, "Use as you will for resurrection. A necromantic awakening. Rise from the pits of despair and answer the calls of the forest. The skies burn with fire! An unquenched desire to gaze on your face once more."

At the mention of fire Ninetails applied her experience in her many past pokemon contests to send a hail of flames into the air that hovered for a second before fading. The crowd shied away from the spectacle of flames but came back again held by the spell the music had over them.

The Howl from Beyond played for almost two hours before finally calling it quits.

"...So lighting dies and though her eyes were filled with lies the death of mew revealed her loss of prophecy!"

The music grew louder and louder before falling silent. Rei then played a soft ending before it was truly finished.

"Thank you!" shouted Dani, "It was great of you to come. We hope to see you in the future. Farewell."

With that the lights of the stage went off and specially placed smoke bombs on the edges of the stage exploded and hid the band members as they left.

The poor people left to return home, grateful for the break in routine but still despondent. The rich group lingered for a while, casting strange glances at the stage, now devoid of life, and muttering in hushed tones to each other. At the snaps of their fingers some of the poorer people came running to carry their belongings for them and diligently followed them as they walked away.

"How did you think it went?" asked Rick as everyone was packing up before retiring.

"They weren't the most alive audience ever," commented Dani, stating the obvious, "They just stood around and applauded at the end of each song."

"This must be where Rei's ancestors come from," jibed Rick.

"Hilarious," muttered Rei.

"And what about when Ninetails shot that fire into the sky?" asked Kirsten, "I swear some of them ran off and didn't come back."

"It's like they were seriously afraid she would attack them," said Brian, "The only people that didn't flinch were those rich guys."

"You're right," agreed Dani, "But they could just be better educated. If pokemon don't occur in this region then only well-educated people would know that they're not dangerous. Well at least trained ones."

"Actually trained ones are more dangerous," corrected Daron, "It's only that trained pokemon don't attack unless commanded."

"Or without good reason," added Kirsten, "In any case this is certainly a strange place and we'd probably be better off if we find a place we're more used to."

"People coming," said Rei.

"People?" queried Dani.

"Espeon says there are people coming. Looking for a fight."

"I'll check it out. Brian, Daron. You guys coming?"

"Sure," answered Brian, "We'll see to it."

"Be careful," Kirsten warned Dani.

"Don't panic," he replied, giving her a kiss on the forehead, "Mightyena will protect me."

Dani, Brian and Daron climbed out of the truck and Brian turned on the external lights. They were bright and lit up the entire field, revealing a guilty looking band of five men. They appeared to be holding pokeballs only the balls looked as if they were made of a black stone.

"Is something the matter?" asked Dani.

The men jumped back and green light shot out of each of their imitation pokeballs to reveal five pokemon; Koffing, Rattata, Zigzagoon, Gligar and Yanma.

"You guys seriously want to battle?" asked Dani rhetorically, releasing Mightyena.

Brian released his charizard and Daron released his Absol.

"This shouldn't be too hard," predicted Daron, "Absol! Attack with slash!"

"Mightyena back up Absol with bite attack!"

"Charizard! Get in the air and take out Gligar and Yanma!"

Absol rushed forward to slash Koffing with his sharp blade. The koffing was knocked out in one hit. Mightyena bit the rattata and tossed it into its trainer, knocking him down and his pokemon out.

Zubat and Yanma tried all that they could do get Charizard but they were far too weak and with one flamethrower attack Charizard was able to remove them from the battle. Zigzagoon saw it was outnumbered, turned tail and ran, much to the disgust of its trainer who nevertheless followed almost immediately afterward.

"Good job, Mightyena," Dani congratulated his pokemon.

"They were weak," complained Brian, "One hit KO's each time."

"It proves there are pokemon around here though," noted Daron, "Do you think they wanted to steal ours to add to their collection?"

"I'll remember to ask them next time," replied Dani sarcastically as he climbed back into the truck.

Once everyone was asleep in bed Dani climbed into the driver's seat in the front of the truck, swivelled it to the side and rested his feet out the open passenger window. The truck was specially made so the seats were able to move. Dani drove the truck almost all the time and he'd made sure it was comfortable. He also liked his privacy so he'd often sleep in the driver's seat but as a rule only when the truck wasn't going anywhere. He sighed and let his thoughts wander freely, he could never just get to sleep, he always had to wait forever to get to that stage.

"Esp."

The faint cry made Dani look to the door to the driving cabin where Espeon stood.

"Aren't you supposed to be asleep?" asked Dani.

The psychic cat mewed again and jumped up onto Dani's toned stomach.

"What you want?" asked Dani.

She rubbed her head against his chest, purring softly.

"Why don't you just talk to me? You talk to Rei all the time."

Espeon merely smiled and licked his lips, {I don't want to talk.}

"So," began, scratching her head and then running his hand down her spine and resting it on her lower back, "What do you want then?"

{I need some love,} she purred, using a sorrowful tone of thought.

"Why don't you play with Jolteon or whoever?"

{They're all asleep. I know you want to. I can read your mind.}

Stay out of my mind, thought Dani, It's my private place.

{I'll let you in my private place,} replied Espeon seductively, turning around to give Dani a good view of her kitty cunt.

"It's a start," said Dani, grabbing Espeon's hindlegs and pulling her back till his lips met the outer lips of her vagina.

Espeon was already aroused by the thought of being mated and so was already slightly wet. Dani breathed in her lusty scent and ran his tongue over the outside. Espeon purred louder as she felt his tongue rub over her juicy parts and even more so as she felt it slowly squirm between her walls and begin to explore her path. Espeon had to concentrate hard to stop herself from extending her claws into Dani's flesh but she did rub her head rather firmly on his hardening cock, purring loudly.

Luckily everyone in the band was okay with the human/pokemon sex and they almost all engaged in it at some time or another. The only time anyone had a problem was when everyone wanted some. There were only four females to eight males so occasionally you wouldn't be the first there. In this case though Espeon hadn't been with anyone earlier and was clean as Dani lubed her up with saliva.

{That's enough,} stated Espeon, {I can't take it anymore.}

She turned around, used her psychic powers to strip Dani of his clothes, freeing his sore member that she'd been rubbing through his pants the whole time, and turned around to position herself at the tip of his dick. Dani placed his hands around her hips and pulled her onto his cock. He gasped as her mound of flesh parted to allow him entrance into her most private of places. Espeon was purring even more loudly now and she felt like a big furry vibrator lying on Dani's chest. In the awkward position he was in Dani had to rely on Espeon and his arms to begin thrusting but once it began it was something good.

Espeon was no virgin but her walls still clenched around Dani's dick massaging the sensitive organ and driving his pleasure further with every wonderful hilting. Dani began to moan as he approached his orgasm.

"Ooh, Espeon. You're so good."

Espeon licked her lips, loving the compliments and the feelings in her pussy. Her juices were flowing fast now and dripping out of her slit to run down Dani's prick to drip on the seat covers.

He'll have to clean them again, she grinned to herself just as she climaxed.

Her cunt contracted tightly around Dani as her body spasmed with pleasure. She stifled her cries of bliss as much as she could, unwilling to wake everyone up.

"Here I come!" moaned Dani as he gripped the pink cat tightly and thrust her down onto his dick with as much force as he could muster. At that moment Espeon pulled a dirty trick and teleported to the ground. There she lay, her cunt running with her love juices as she heard Dani both try to quietly experience the brilliant sensation of orgasm while at the same time curse Espeon as he squirted his cum all over his chest.

"Espeon," panted Dani in a low voice, "You ... are ... so ... dead."

She smiled to herself and slowly rose to her feet, leaving a small puddle where she'd lain, and went to join Rei for the night.
