Hello Everyone, this is the Prologue and first chapter of 7 Monthes Of Rain, I would like youre honest reviews and I know the introduction wasn't the best but I would love all your opinions so I can Improve myself.

Thank You.

Prologue Dimetown, or as others called it, "River City" is a quiet place that many have not heard of. For those who lived in Dimetown, they knew why it was called River City. Rain was an everyday event to the citizens, they were used to complete downpours, flooding and loss of electricity. No one seemed to mind it, but outsiders found their way of living primitive and unbearable. The city consisted of one chain of schools, Dimetown Elementary, Dimetown Junior High and Dimetown High school. There were no colleges in Dimetown so everyone who planned on college had to leave the natural water park they called home. The way this story begins and ends, depicts the start of something between a boy named Austin and a sweetheart named Jake. How it came to be, and how it all ended.Chapter 1: Behind Many Doors It's 5 a.m. and an alarm goes off in Austin's room, he opens his eyes and sees the sun gleaming through the window. Austin lived with his sister Ophelia in an apartment next to Dimetown High, they get along but with few words, Austin goes to school while Ophelia goes to her job as a resturaunt manager downtown. Whenever they do talk, it's usually about bills and how Austin should pitch in more. Austin pays his dues but often ignores her afterward. After Austin gets out of bed, he goes into the shower and gets ready for school. As he goes to grab a muffin for brekfast, Ophelia calls for him, making Austin roll his eyes as he approaches her. "What is it Ophelia? I need to go to school soon." "Sit down brother." She said, laying a hand upon his shoulder. "You know I'm always supportive of you and who you're with, right?" He nods "Yes, what about it?" "Well I know about you being with Jade for a while, how is it going between you two?" Austin sighed in his thoughts, he has been with a cheerleader named Jade Finkle for a long time but knew she was not right for him. Unfortunately, he didn't know where else to go when he would get rid of her, he wouldn't know where to go. With a sigh, he said "It's going ok, I can never see myself being with her for the rest of my life." "Then you shouldn't be with her." Ophelia said with a smack on her head. "I don't know what to do." Ophelia slammed down her coffee and left with only the words "I'm just trying to help you brother, you need to follow what's right instead of what's wrong." Austin looked at his sister and replied with "I know Sis, love you." then left for school.   Austin never liked school but he coped with it and was accepted very well due to his status as a football jock, but unlike other jocks, Austin was different. He was very kind to his fellow teammates, he didn't think of the lower classmen as brats or "lower" what so ever. He treated everyone the same, with respect, honesty and generosity. He never lied, except for one concept, he feared of the answer's effect on the ones who asked. Even though he saw this revalation long ago, he still is unable to pass it beyond the door.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The world is a mysterious place, even with all the hatred and conflict in the world, Jake seemed unaffected. He just saw the world as a wonderful place and despair is a state of mind made to only fade. Jake grew up in Dimetown, he never been to the outside world ever since his parents passed in a terrible car crash when he was 3. He has been adopted ever since and doesn't remember the smallest remnant of his biological family.   It is 4 a.m. and Jake wakes up early before his alarm goes off. Jake lives with his guardians in a small house on the outskirts of the town. He is friendly to his guardians, even when they irritate him about religion. At school, Jake is open on who he is, a nice, sensitive and cheerful homosexual. At home, Jake is close about that matter and as far as his guardians know, he's just another heterosexual or "straight" man. It's 7:20 a.m. and Jake has just arrived at his school in order to be greeted by the people who love and accept him. "Hello Everyone." He cheerfully says to his friends. "Hello Jake." said his best friend Danielle, hugging him, "How are you this morning?" "I'm doing fine," He said "Just another lecture from Mr. Henry's bible this morning but I was able to tune him out." "That's good, how's the love life, find any boy toys?" She asked teasingly. Jake sighed and looked at the ground, he wasn't in a relationship and hasn't been in one for over a year. It made him feel lonely knowing that there was no guy in his town that satisfied his needs.   "Oh! Hide Me!" Danielle said, hiding behind Jake. "Wait, what, why?" Jake said, peeking over his shoulder. "Austin McElroy.." She said, pointing with one finger to a tall, muscular, and lean figure with long brown hair, green eyes and pale complexion. "He's so hot, I don't want him to see me in such ugly clothes." Her friends comforted her and told her she was beautiful while Jake just stood there and stared at the attractive man who just walked by them He just couldn't keep his eyes off him until Austin turned a corner and disappeared from his sight. "Jake? Jake!" Danielle shouted in his ear. "What's wrong?" Jake shook his head around and fixed his hair. "Nothing, let's get to class before our teacher blows a cap."
