Part 2- Zack Makes New Friends!
Zack walked with Apple Bloom while they continued their way to Sweet Apple Acres to visit Apple Jack. As Zack looked at the scenery, he was amazed at what a great sunny day it was, and off in the distance ahead of them he could make out rows of neatly planted apple trees.
"Say Zack, where do you live anyway?" he heard Apple Bloom say as she looked over to him with a bright smile.
"Oh well, I just got here so I don't have a place of my own or anything..."
Apple Blooms eyes grew wide "Why don't you stay with us Zack? I know Apple Jack won't mind at all! We got a nice room you could use in the barn!"
"That's awfully kind of you Apple Bloom, but I don't wanna be in the way or nothing..."
"Its no trouble at all Zack! Its gana be all kinds of fun hav'n you around, I just know it!"
"Won't we have to see what Apple Jack says about it?"
"Awe you don't have to worry bout that Zack!" she waved a hoof at me, "My big Sis won't mind!"
We made our way down the winding path off the main road and into the farm. We came to the big family barn and saw Apple Jack carrying bushels of apples into the barn. Apple Jack looked up towards us as she heard Apple Bloom yell out for her.
"Hey Sis!" Apple Bloom yelled as she ran up to hug Apple Jack.
"Ha ha ha! Alright now! Settle down Apple Bloom, whats all this about?" as she looked over to me "who's yer new friend?"
"This is Zack and he's a Human! The only one in all of Equestria!" Apple Bloom couldn't help her excitement.
I simple smiled and waved to Apple Jack as I caught up. She was every last bit as I remembered her from the show, a nice orange coat of fur, with long blonde hair tied back with red ribbons just like her tail, and the same hat as always. As well as the cutie mark of three red apples on her flanks.
"Hiya Apple Jack!" I said as held out a hand and she shook it with a hoof.
"We'll Howdy Zack! It's always nice to meet new faces! I hope Apple Bloom didn't cause ya any trouble?"
"Oh heck no! She's been an angel since we met!"
Apple Bloom gave another big smile, "Hey Sis! Zack just got here and he has no place to stay, would it be al'right if he stays with us?" as she gave her sister a puppy look.
Apple Jack just smiled "Why sure! That's sounds fine ta me! He can use that spare room in the barn!"
"That's what I told him!" Apple Bloom laughed.
"Well its settled then, come on over here and I'll show you yer room Partner!"
We all walked into the barn to a back room. "Here ya are, Its not much but its a place to catch some shuteye!" Apple Jack said as I followed her in. The room had a bed with a blanket and pillow and a tall dresser that was empty aside from from extra sheets.
"This is really nice for a barn room!" I told her.
"We'll it came with the barn, an we never had any-pony to use it before, so I guess that makes you the first!" she said with a smile.
"Thanks Apple Jack, it means a lot to me."
Apple Jack gave a slight blush "Awe shucks, it ain't nothin, but yer welcome to stay as long as ya like!"
I sat down on the bed which was more comfy then it looked, followed by a short lived moment of silence before Apple Bloom got excited again.
"Hey Sis, I almost forgot to tell ya... Zack here is like a psychic or sum-thin! He just magically knows everything!"
Apple Jack looked at her and just laughed "Pf-ft HAHA, a psych-what?! Come on Apple Bloom! I think you been dip'n into the Apple Nog a bit too much!"
I decided to jump in at that point "We'll Apple Bloom is kinda half-right, I'm not a 'psychic' but I don't know just about everything about you guys..."
"Wait... say-what now?" Apple Jack looked confused and scratched under her hat with a hoof.
"We'll... uh..." I wasn't sure how to explain it.
"Just tell my Sis something about her Zack! Then I'm Sure she'll believe ya!"
I pondered for a second then it hit me, "we'll Apple Jack, what about that time you were behind schedule in the Apple harvest and you kept over working your self without any sleep..."
Apple Jacks eyes went wide "Ugh..." was all she could muster.
"Then Twilight kept trying to help you, but you wouldn't let her, and when you were suppose to help Pinky Pie with the cupcakes... all those pony's got sick..."
Apple Jack was speechless, she didn't know what to say, "Now wait a min... but how'd you... what in tar-nations!" she looked like she was getting upset. "Apple Bloom! What did I say about, tell-in pony's about that darn story!" she scolded her little sister.
"I didn't say a word about it Apple Jack, I swear!"
"Then who told ya Zack?" Apple Jack looked over at me with a stern look.
"Ugh... no one told me anything, the only pony's I've met so far was you two! Like I said before I just know these things... I cant explain it..."
Apple Jack gave a surprised look "wow... Maybe ya are um... psych or whatever."
"Not really, I just know a lot of things..." I sighed as I was getting tired of defending that.
"Apple Bloom shouldn't Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle be lookin for ya? Once school is over you guys usually play till nightfall." as I gave her an odd look.
"Now that-cha mention it, I've should a seen them by now... wonder whats keep-in em so long? I suppose I'll av-ta go n' look for em!" and with that said Apple Bloom raced out of the barn "See ya later Zack!"
"Have fun!" I shouted back as Apple Jack nudged me with a hoof.
"Say Zack, what'cha gana do once yer all settled in? If your not busy, I could sure use a set of extra hoofs to help with the harvest!"
I smiled as she mentioned hoofs, as I held up my hands "Well I'd be happy to help Apple Jack, but I'm afraid your gana have to settle for a set of hands!"
Apple Jack smiled as she scratched under her hat again "Oh shucks! I'm sorry Zack, guess I've never met some-pony that's not a pony before!" she laughed
"Anyhow, just follow me and I'll show you what you can do!"
I followed Apple Jack out of the barn as she led the way, catching my attention was her tail as she trotted by. To my surprise her tail was almost as gorgeous as her mane! Long golden blonde hair and tied at the end with a red ribbon, I couldn't help but think of how cute it looked that way.
"Wow Apple Jack, your tail looks just as good as your mane does! With how its tied with a ribbon and all..." I complimented as we walked over to the rows of apple trees nearby.
Apple Jack looked over her shoulders to me with a glint in her eyes "Awe shucks, that's awfully sweet of you to say Zack! I'm not to crazy with it all like Rarity might be, but I have my own charms!"
I couldnt help but smile, "You sure do Apple Jack... A fine lookin mare pony like yourself, almost makes me wonder how your still single!"
Apple Jack gave a soft giggle, "Oh now yer just being modest Zack! I don't think I look THAT good! I would of tried dating if I had the time, but Apple Buck'n is a year round Job if ya.. know.. what I.. Mean!" She gave a nearby Apple try a few good kicks as it began to rain apples!
"Ah there we go! Alrighty now... what'cha can do Zack, since you got them soft hands of yers... you can gather the Apples and put em in the baskets, then we can load em up in the wagon and take em to the barn! Sound like a plan?"
"Sounds awesome to me Apple Jack!"
"he-he, you can just call me AJ if ya want Zack." she gave me a smile as she walked to buck another tree.
I began to gather up the Apples, placing them into the large basket, and noticing that from just one tree... several dozen apples fall. At the rate that AJ bucks the trees, and I gather... I would have to freeze time just to keep up!
"This actually is a lot of work! I cant keep up with your buckin!"
AJ laughed as she bucked another tree "You'll get use to it..." she laughed, "What I think I'll do tho, is slow down the Buckin and help you catch up!" As she looked at the large amount of Apples between me and her progress.
Apple Jack in between buckins would take a bit more time to help gather the apples into the basket, not that many apples fell right into the baskets, and as AJ could only pick one up at a time with her mouth. As apposed to Zack gathering them much quicker using his hands.
I swore as we gathered apples together for a short while, I caught glimpses of AJ watching me or sum-thing. Even her cracking a cute smile all to often!
"Wait! Whats so funny?" I asked as I wore a grin of my own.
"Nothin..." she laughed "Its just so strange watch-in some pony that has hands like that! Let alone work'n with em!" she gave another laugh along with a smile.
"We'll I cant help it! I was born this way!" I laughed "Humans wouldn't be able to do anything without these hands!" I told her as I held em up to see.
When I said that, I started wondering how these Pony's do everything they do with hoofs! How do they get dressed or brush their teeth without hands?
"Speaking of hands..." AJ dropped an apple and looked over to me as I spoke.
"How do you Pony's do everything without them?"
AJ thought for a minute, "Like what?" she asked.
"Well for one... how do you get dressed?" I asked her.
She burst with sudden laughter, "PFFT, HAHAHAHA..." as she hoofed away a tear...
"Apart from my hat, and a few ribbons... I'm naked!"
Still smiling from her reaction, I couldn't help realize she refer to her self as being Naked, meaning she is lacking clothes she would prefer to be wearing...
"We'll Pony's don't wear clothes to begin with, so why would you say your naked?" I couldn't help but wonder.
"Well... Cause... u hm... Heck, to Hay with it... you know what I meanff !" she muffed out as she bit down on another apple...
Taking into consideration, aside from her gorgeous tail, nothing else was hiding her woman parts from view, and it wouldn't be hard at all to see if I was trying... and if I thought about it more I knew I would want to.
"Well like how Rarity always wears and makes dresses for Pony's and stuff... that's what I'm talking about, how does she even get one on without hands?"
AJ laughed again "Well, like you said,,, In the norm, Pony's don't wear britches or the likes..."
"However... there's plenty of pony folk that fancy the dresses, especially for the occasion!" she finished.
"I can understand that... and I do, but I just wanna know 'how'!"
"With Rarity its easy! Shes a unicorn... all she has' ta do is use her magic for everything!"
"oh dang, that's right... Twilight can just use her magic too... wait, what about Pinky Pie! She cant use magic! How does she get dressed?"
"The same way I would... she has ta get help!" she told me, "Its not all that much to worry over, we only dress for occasions..."
"I know, ones like the Grand Galloping Gala..."
"Yup! See, you know all about it!"
I wasn't watching her at the time as I reached for another apple, judging from what happened next, she wasn't watching either! My hand had just grabbed the next apple but as soon as I did, AJ came down apparently on intent of grabbing the same one, which it was my hand that went into her mouth instead!
The apple was still in my grasp which was also in her mouth as well. When she realized she got more then just an apple, her eyes went wide as she tried to pull her head back. Yanking me upright but not losing the apple as it was stuck in her mouth with my hand. The extra space my hand took around the apple was more then she could open to get me out.
"Oh crap! Hold on AJ that's my hand you got!" I cried!
All I could hear was her muffled tone as her mouth tried to move around my hand to speak the words. "Imft Camf Telgh Thamft!" she blurted...
We continued a rather awkward struggle pulling this way and that, nothing showed signs of getting the apple loose. "AJ hold on a minute and let me do it..." I told her as I held up my other hand.
"Okeyph!" was all I heard followed by her stopping to relax more.
I leaned in to get a closer look and with my other hand, tried to see why the apple was stuck so I could get it lose. Reaching into her mouth with my other fingers, getting a grunt from AJ, "Just hold on a second..." I told her. I rotated the apple in place to get my hand more free, once I got my hand out she spat out the apple.
*Spatoie!* "Blehck!" as she spat some more.
"You okay?!" I asked her.
After a moment to catch her breath, "It was a little hard to breath actually, an yer squirmy little fingers tickled me!" she grinned.
"I'm just glad I still have all of em attached!" I cried!
Apple Jack just laughed "I wasn't gana bite em off ya Zack! Just surprised as you was, is all."
"I didn't hurt ya none did I?" she asked with an innocent tone.
I smiled for her, "nah I'm fine I'm just glad your ok!"
"Awe.." she waved a hoof, "ya don't need to worry bout me none Partner! I'm not as fragile as I look!" she said as she readjusted her hat.
With that over with me an AJ gathered enough Apples and filled the wagon, ready to take it all to the barn. I watched as she attached herself to tow the wagon. Surprised that she did it without hands too!
"Once we get these here apples ta the barn, we'll take a break... maybe grab us a bite to eat!"
"Sounds good to me!"
We unloaded the baskets inside the barn, I was surprised they weighed so much! Apple Jack didn't seem to care, it was nothing she wasn't use to...
"Phew!" I sighed as I wiped my brow of sweat. I sat down on the open end of the wagon as I caught my breath.
"Get a nice work out?" AJ grinned.
"Those bushels weigh a ton!" I told her.
"They weigh quite a bit, that's for sure! Wait here and I'll bring us a couple of cold ones!" with that said she turned around with a swoosh of her tail and was out of sight. Moment later she walked back in with two Bottles hanging out her mouth! She leaned out an offered one, after I grabbed it she toke the other and placed it on the ground between her front hoofs. Using her teeth she popped off the top and taking the whole bottle in her mouth she swung her head back to have a drink.
I looked down to see what the bottle in my hand was and wasn't surprised to see it was apple juice! As if any other kind of drink was on Sweet Apple acres! I twisted the top off and toke a swig, the crisp natural apple flavor hit my taste buds like no tomorrow!
"Wow, for Apple juice, this is some strong tasting stuff!"
Apple Jack placed the bottle back on the ground, which was empty anyway. "Thanks, Its a secret family recipe!" she told me as she grinned.
"You sure have it made AJ! Gorgeous looks! Class A apple juice! I can only imagine your apple pies are just as good!"
Apple Jack laughed again as she gave me a stern look, "great tasting pie? That's easy, my looks? I don't think I look all that great..."
I had to hold back as I almost blew apple juice out my nose! "Are you kidding me! Out of all the girls, not only do you look the most mature, you act the most as well! And I always thought Mature women were the more attractive!"
"Don't forget that sexy southern accent..." I added as she blushed deeply and waved a hoof.
"Your just saying that!" she said in a shy tone.
"Believe what you want AJ, I'm not afraid to tell you that even though your a Pony, your pretty damn hot!"
Apple Jack giggled and covered her face with her hat in the embarrassment. Thinking it was fun to watch her reaction I couldn't help but get carried away with what I was about to say.
"Hell to tell ya the truth, half the time we were out there working, I couldn't help but stare at that nice ass of yours!"
Apple Jacks jaw dropped and her eyes went wide! She looked over her shoulder at her flanks and back to me as if wondering how they were sexy...
"You were lookin at my ass?!" she said sounding completely surprised!
"Damn straight!" I told her "Last time I checked, Any guy around you would be!"
Apple Jack was a little squirmy but seemed a bit more relaxed after thinking what ever it was that was on her mind.
Putin her hat back on and showing her usual smile to me, "You really think I look THAT good?" she asked me in almost a whisper.
"Your young! Your beautiful! You make the best damn apple juice I've ever seen! And you did it all while working hard making an honest living! I cant think of a single damn down side about you!"
Zack paused thinkin of not 'what' he said but 'how' he said it... and he couldn't help but laugh a bit.
"Whats wrong?" Apple Jack asked lookin confused, as she looked herself over, "Do I got sum-thin on me?"
"No no! Its not that, I just realized you got me sound-in more southern now!"
Apple Jack laughed "Now that'cha mention it, I can tell!"
I took the last swig of my juice and was about to ask what she does with the bottles...
"Hey Zack... we don't need to rush back to work just yet..." she said acting a bit shy which was unlike her.
"We can relax for a bit if you want..."
I just shook my head with a grin, "your gana spoil me at this rate AJ!"
Apple Jack gave me a sexy smile as she slowly walked by, "I ain't done nothing yet!" she said softly.
As she passed me, her tail brushed across my face as I watched her walk into what was now my room. I was frozen for a short moment trying to take in what just happened when I heard her call from my room "Ya coming?"
If she was intent on what I thought she was, I wasn't gana waste any time!
"Yes Ma'am!" I said as a hurried into the room.
