Bio-Emergance

You must be 18... blah blah blah... you know the rest.

This is my first story so yell at my lack of talent or grammar or whatever but dont say that i dont floss.

that really hurts :P

A young man finds out bio-emergances happen in both the real world and the digital.

My name is Ash.

I am a typical 18 year old in central Melbourne, (an australian city :P) and it had been 10 years after the incident in Tokyo

involving the renegade program called the D-Reaper. The "threat" of Digital Monsters or "Digimon" had faded from the news headlines,

as digimon had now been localized in tokyo for bio-emergance, and Tamers had been containing the damage a hostile Digimon could wreak.

Little did they know that most digimon were planning to Bio-Emerge elsewhere as there were way too many precautions in Japan, they thought that if they

Bio-Emerge in other countries that they would have a better chance at achieving their goals.

But something had changed in the way a Bio-Emergance occured.

Before whenever a Bio-Emergance occured a Digital Field appeared in the real world and a Digimon would form, to take in the sights, look for a tamer, kill some people, whatever it is that digimon do.

But now a Digital field could appear in the digital world. Then a human or a random animal or object would suddenly appear in the field.

This is most likely the cause of 90% of human disappearances after this corruption of the Bio-Emergance program.

I would soon experience this corrupted program first hand soon.

"C'mon sometime today please..." I muttered to the traffic light that refused to change colour so I could cross, after a few minutes of pulse-pounding boredom

the light changed to a bright red and I crossed the road. (after looking both ways first!)

I was tired and hungry after finishing work at the Furniture Distributer Warehouse in North Melbourne and i just wanted to hop on the train and go home so i could hibernate in front of the TV.

i made my way to the train station and bought a ticket and took a seat on the Faded-colour-Never-Been-washed bench.

Just as a man approached me.

"Can ya spare 2 bucks mate?"

"uh sure" i said, and i handed him a 2 dollar coin.

"Thanks" he said as he walked off.

"No worries" i said after him.

I generally give any spare change i have if a povvo (beggar) asks me for it because you never know, he could be jesus in disguise, that or a homacidal maniac

who is sick and tired of being refused the 2 dollar coin of glory and will remove it from my stabbed corpse if i say no.

And people say im paranoid!

its probably going to happen someday, you just watch!

( Yes i have a wierd sense of humor, get used to it. )

So after numerous delays the train finally decided to show up and take us poor slobs to where we needed to go.

After a good half-hour of trying to avoid eye-contact with any psychopaths, the train pulled up to my station and i left.

When i arrived home i tried the door handle it was locked.

"Great" i thought "Chris isnt home yet."

Chris is my roomate in this little unit in melbourne and he was almost the opposite i what i was.

Chris was always good with girls, where i was so shy it boarded on being fatal.

So because of this i havnt gotten into a relationship with a girl yet.

After expending as little energy as i could, i unlocked the door and fell onto the couch and used the wand of lazyness (my name for the remote)

I turned on the TV.

A man in a suit sitting at a desk graced my TV screen.

"Good evening." he said.

"In todays news there has been i steep decline to the amount of Bio-Emergances in central Tokyo and Experts are hailing it a sucess for their theory that rapid responses by the goverment department HYPNOS had discouraged Digimon from Bio-Emerging to the real world.

In other news..."

"Boring! I said loudly to no one in particular.

Heaving myself up and out of my couch i went to the bathroom to wash my teeth and make myself look sort of presentable.

looking in the mirror i saw a round face with green eyes staring back at me.

Turning my attention to my hair i sighed to my self, it was brown about 7 centimetres long and it was crazy.

No matter what i did to it, Gel, mousse or balm, nothing could keep it in a form that would look good.

But i didnt worry about it too much, because one day it would collapse into itself into an infintismal speck of insanity.

Then I would have the last laugh!

After i was more or less satisfied with myself i hopped on the computer for a good ol fashioned "Kill anything that i see-athon"

as i chopped my way through the assorted enemies and a couple of pirates who werent too happy about me stepping on their ship on the waterfront.

( ten points to anyone who can figure out what game i was playing :D)

after my blood-lust was sated i shut down the computer and prepared for bed.

I went into my room and pulled out my I-pod and just laid down for a while and listened to the music for a while before putting it into my pants pocket.

after that i pulled out a couple of MAD magazines and just read them for a while before I started to feel drowsy.

I pulled up the covers and started to sleep.

CRASH!

"Huh?" i said.

SMASH!

"What the?" I said as i got out of bed still clothed, ( i fell asleep in them) and i pulled a hatchet out from under my bed and i crept into the laundry.

The back door was open.

And outside i saw the strangest sight i have ever seen.

Fog.

Purple Fog.

"how very ninja-esque of my thief" I thought as i walked into the fog...

CRACK!

I felt something hit the back of my head making that sickening crack and i promptly fell in a heap.

My last thought as i went down was "Damn it..."

"Hey human!" a high pitched voice yelled.

"Wha?" i said as i slowly came to my senses while holding my head.

"HEY HUMAAAAAN!"

"Argh! im awake!" I said as i stood up.

I looked around and 3 things dawned on me

1: It was daytime, I must have been out for a bit.

2: I wasnt in my backyard. I was in some kind of forest.

3: I didnt see my rude awakener.

"Up here!"

I looked up and with my blurred vision i saw something big and pink up in the tree that i was standing next to.

"Not so loud please" i said as i rubbed my eyes.

looking up I saw the biggest bird-thing that I've ever seen.

"AH!" I shouted as I fell on my backside.

"Hee hee, you're funny!" the bird creature said as it fluttered off the tree and settled beside me.

"Who are you?" I asked feeling a little more than freaked out at the sight of this large bird-thing.

"I'm Biyomon!" it said while it bounced up and down on its bird like feet.

"Uh...right. Um Biyomon, can you tell me where i am?"

"Sure!" Biyomon said "You're in the forest of 192.099.453!"

"Right" I said. Getting up to walk around I suddenly stopped.

"Wait...I'm in the Digital world right?"

"Yup!" Biyomon said "I'll see you later human!" then the Biyomon flew off.

"Okay." I thought "I must think this out rationally. I must not panic"

Snap!

I whirled around and saw a pair of glowing eyes shining out of a nearby bush.

it started to growl and i heard it advance toward me.

"Scratch that, Time to panic!" I thought as i took off running into the forest.

I have never run so fast in all my life.

Dashing past trees, dodging rocks and trying to figure out what could be chasing me, and why?

As i was running along i tripped and fell over a tree root that was sticking out of the ground.

"Damn it!" I swore to myself.

Then I noticed that my pursuer was gone.

I must have lost it when i fell over into the bushes after tripping.

I breathed out a sigh of relief and looked around for some sort of shelter, deciding to build a makeshift tent in a patch of trees.

I started using my hatchet that was still in my belt to start chopping tree limbs...

Meanwhile...

A hunched Digimon with yellow fur and digigrage legs with Ying-Yang symbols on them, wearing matching arm-length gauntlets with the same symbol, known as a Renamon.

was perched in a tree shrouded by foliage, some distance from the human she was observing.

"What is this creature that is trespassing in our forest?" she thought to herself.

"I will inform the Matriarch at once!" the Renamon thought as she vanished through the trees.

The Renamon arrived at the gates of her village and approached a Large Canine crature with 9 long tails that spread out behind it in a graceful fan pattern, that was gaurding the front gate of the palisade wall that surrounded the collection of huts comprising of a modest village.

"Greetings Sister" she said to the Renamon.

"Please let me in, I have important news for the Matriarch."

"Enter." The Kyubimon said, as she stepped off to the side.

"Thank you Sister." She said as she ran into the village.

The "Matriarch" was a large upright humanoid creature in a long flowing white robe with sleeves so long it hid its hands, it had a Ying Yang symbol on its chest that swelled out with two mounds that indicated that it was a female.

She turned around when she heard a soft knocking on the door of her hut.

"Come in!" she spoke to the door.

"Greetings blessed matriarch." The Renamon said as she bowed her midsection to the ground, before she stood upright.

"I bring news from the Kitsune Forest, a trespasser has appeared deep in the woods!"

"Is it another Greymon Sister?" The Matriarch asked.

"No Mistress, it is a strange creature that i have never seen before."

"Please describe it dear sister..."

"It stood upright and it was garbed in strange fur like a Gabumon but it went all around itself. it also had a stange stick with metal on it that it used to cut down branches, I left at that stage to inform you of its presence."

"Hmm..." The matriach pondered as stood in thought, tail swinging side to side.

"Did the creature have any other digimon with him?"

"No Mistress."

"I think what you saw in the forest was a Human, Sister"

The Renamons ears perked up immediatly.

"Are you sure Mistress?" she asked, "what should we do now?"

"One last question Sister..."

"Yes Mistress?" The Renamon replied.

"Do you have any clue on Humans gender?"

"From its scent in the air i would guess it was a male Mistress."

The Matriarch smiled to herself and replied "send out a few of our Sisters to retrieve this male unharmed."

"Yes Mistress" The Renamon said as she left the hut.
