...The current Ruler is the brave and benevolent Endra, Queen of the Nalas," Zel stopped as he looked out over the group of children before him, his gaze falling on one in particular, the young fox staring off into the cold night air of the castle as the Zel quietly closed the book, getting up off of the stump he had been sitting on and making his way over to him the other children's eyes following.

"Garet!" the boy leapt into the air as the Zel shouted, staring up at the elder with his greenie blue eyes as he brushed some of his black hair out of his face, grinning nervously, "Day dreaming again, Garet?" said Zel putting the book that he was reading on the mantelpiece, the red and amber fire lighting the dimly lit room of the castle. "Well then?" Zel's eye's looking down at the fox.

"I...uhm..." Garet froze grinning nervously as several of the others whispering behind the old man.

Zel lets out a sigh "You just have to say yes or no."

"Yes I am....but!" he added sharply before Zel could interrupt "I'm getting tired and I was wondering if I could go for a walk before we continue?" he said looking at the other wolfs, fox's and other children's faces, before his eyes resting on Zel's who was at this point standing right in front of him.

Zel turns around before wandering back off to his chair the old wooden floor boards creaking under his feet; Zel took his place at the semicircle at the left paw side of the fireplace before answering. "I suppose so, but don't make it to long I don't read from our town's castle library often and your teacher trying quite hard to get you into here to hear me read."

"Of course lord Zel." Garet said getting quickly up from his seat.

Zel concentrates on the fire which is spitting and crackling and waves his hand in Garet direction "Off you go then."

Garet starts to make his way out from the semicircle of chairs which are arranged around the fireplace and begins to make his means of getting out. The moonlight flooding in from the tall windows on each side of the Great Hall, the floor boards creaking showing their age. As he gets the end of the hall he smiles as he feels the soft long carpet on his paws, the carpet runs all the way down the corridor to the front door. As he walks he looks at the portraits one of them being of Lord Zel standing in front of the castle in its glory days. As he continued to walk the rest of the portraits are of the old kings, queens, barons, dukes and tapestry's that depicts lands of snow, cities, tribal villages and some sort of land of death. Garet stops for a moment to look at the picture that illustrates skeletons, demons and other horrors being fought off by what look like dwarf warriors, which the words 'k'a nazrath ura Ar'gurhaz' are written underneath the tapestry.

"That's a very nice picture don't you think..." whispered an icy voice echoing though the corridor.

Garet froze as what felt like a cold sensation ran up from his tail though his spin and whole body. "w..w...who's there?" he slurred turning around expecting to find somebody behind him or nearby, but to be greeted to a cold and empty hallway with just the paintings eyes looking down on him.

"That's a good question." The voice supposed "Who am I?" "What am I?" said sarcastically as the echo's of the voice faded away again

"..Come on Zel there is no need to play tricks on me...." Garet tried to chuckle it off to himself, taking a nearby candle along with the holder and lighting it on one of the torches which line the hallway.

"There is no trick..." it whispered the voice chuckling back "Just me......Zeen Rayas."

Garet looked about at the portraits, shining the light on each name tag under the portraits until he found the one he was looking for. He shone the light of the candle on one of the tags underneath the portrait a little down the hall; it read 'Zeen Rayas knight of the order of Slyfen 1411 to 1474' Garet swallowed deeply "But you've been dead almost 100 years..." Garet said beginning to shiver nervously at this point, the hallway getting colder and colder the whistling of the outside wind being heard from the cracked windows. As Garet turns to walk unsteadily back to find Zel and the others in the great all he is greeted by a face.

"Do I seem dead to you?" a ghostly figure of a wolf on horseback dressed in silver armour along with the coat of arm of the villages carved into it and a drawn golden sword pointed at him. The wolfs green intelligent eyes looking into his and Garet's young blue one looking back. "
