Stolen Heart
Hi, My name is Shadow (i know not a very creative name) im a black wolf, with a slim figure and silver fur (not white or grey) on the tip of my tail, ears and my eyes are silver too, as far as i can tell im gay too, but one of the most important things that people notice is that im a thief. I normally wear a old, dirty, grey hoody and some torn jeans. I dont want to be a thief but im poor and have no home but a old abandoned one story house with no heat and to make matters worse its winter!
Around 2:00 or so Shadow woke up the to worst sound he could hear, his belly growling. He slowly got up off of the rug and blankets on the floor that some people would call a bed
"Why now, its 2:00 in the morning, of all times to be hungry!" ** ** Shadow said as he sighed knowing that he would not be able to go back to bed without some food in him.
Shadow made his way over to the makeshift door which looked like it was just a bunch of splinters held together by some glue and headed out into the cold night. Not even a 60 seconds after he opened the door he was cold, but Shadow tried to brush it off as he knew where he was heading tonight.
"Finally made it, now mabe I can get some food into me" Shadow said holding is belly as it growled as if it were alive.
Shadow saw the perfect target to steal from, it was a large 2 story house that looked like it was a mansion. Shadow headed straight for the front door trying to examine the lock
"Damit I hate these kinds of locks! theres noway I will be able to pick this".
Just then he saw an open window, he couldnt believe his luck, an open window and its winter! being the good climber he is from all that running from the police and escaping angry owners, he climbed the house until he reached the window of the rather large house and sliped inside as if he was weightless. Shadow couldnt see a dam thing! until his eyes adjusted to the dark, he now saw that he was in a bed room and it appears that there is someone still sleeping, considering that there is a lump under the covers of the bed. Shadow knew he would have to be very very carfull to not wake the sleeping fur because of the last incident he had with breaking and entering where he was beat and even got a nasty cut on his right arm from a blade that the owner was using, he was lucky he got away with his life. Movement now sturred as the blankets began to move as the fur under them was shifting positions, this brought Shadow back to his senses and he continued to the other side of the room, not knowing what he's getting himself into.
Shadow closed the door he just walked through ever so quietly as he crept through the house already knowing his destination. Shadow saw some stairs and moved down them and took the first door he saw.
"Yes, finally i can get what i need and get the hell out of here".
Shadow seemed to run into the kitchen and was going wild, grabing everything he can, mostly can food since it's sealed and doesn't need to be cold but in his hurry to find some food and get out he seemed to tripped over his own paw since he was in such a hurry.
"Oh no no no no! please dont wake up, please dont wake up" Shadow said as he was looking for a place to hide.
A well built white wolf by the name of Cirrus ( you pronounce it like this Sigh-Ris) was rudely woken up by the sound of falling cans as he jumped up and grabed a bat that was laying against the wall, meanwhile Shadow was panicing trying to figure out what to do, half of his mind told him to run and get out, the other half told him that he doesn't know this house and the only chance he has is to hide. Cirrus ran out of the room and down the stairs and busted straight through he kitchen door and turned the lights on, only to see a slim black wolf standing infront of him too shocked to move.
"WHO ARE YOU!" Cirrus demanded, only to get the response of Shadow's eyes shifting around the room, looking for an exit.
"DIDN'T YOU HEAR ME! WHO ARE YOU!!!" Cirrus demanded once more, raising the bat in his hands. Shadow couldn't get a word from his mouth, so he decided to just run
. As Shadow turned to run Cirrus immidently ran towards him at top speed, pushing him to the ground and picking him up by his scruff and facing him towards his face. Shadow yelped and covered his face remembering what happed last time he got caught.
Cirrus looked at him, "Why is he so scared, i mean i know i have a bat and all but it looks like he thinks im going to beat him to death or something" Cirrus thought to himself before he was interupted by Shadow
"p-please dont hurt me, I didnt mean too, im just so hungry" Shadow cried out as tears strarted to fall.
"Alright" Cirrus said carrying Shadow to the living room and throwing him on the couch,
"But your going to anwer all of my questions and if your lucky I might not call the cops, got it!"
Shadow still scared nodded and waited for the questions. "Ok" Cirrus said begining the questions "First question, who are you and what is your name?" Cirrus asked.
"m-my names Shadow, im just a poor wolf, trying to find some food." Shadow said shaking, trying his best not to anger the white wolf infront of him.
"Ok then Shadow tell me, why did you try to steal from my house?" Cirrus said with a questionable look on his face.
"I had to, im so hungry and the other houses looked like they were locked up tight." Shadow said.
Cirrus just looked at him, feeling a little bit of pitty in him, "So your poor and homeless" Cirrus asked with a caring voice.
"Yes, I am" Shadow said looking at him and thinking to himself "Why did his voice change to a demanding voice to a kind one? Its not like he cares for some random homeless thief like me"
Cirrus set the bat down, looked at Shadow and asked
"Ok one more question, why are you outside in the cold, dont you have a family to go to or something?"
Shadow just looked at him with a sad look and said "Oh i um i dont have a family anymore, they disowned me a long time ago"
Cirrus just looked at him and said "The same thing happed to me, my family disowned me a long time ago too"
"Oh im sorry to hear about that" Shadow said.
"Its ok, hey um i hope i dont regret doing this but um if you want you can stay here for the night" Cirrus said.
"Id love that" Shadow said as his tail was moving back and forth
"hey um do you have a name" Shadow said.
Cirrus looked at him for a few seconds and said "My names Cirrus, come on, im getting pretty tired but um i only have one bed" said Cirrus.
"Thats fine" Shadow said "As long as I dont have to sleep out in the cold again".
Cirrus headed upstairs to the bedroom with Shadow following closley behind.
"Alright the bed is big enough so the both of us should be able to fit". Cirrus said as he moved into bed.
Shadow didnt say anything and just got on the oppisite side of the bed and it being so comfortable, he fell right to sleep, quickly followed by Cirrus.
This is the end of chapter 1, its my first story ever so constructive c will be nice and if it gets good comments i will make another one. if there is anything that confuses you or any questions you have put it in the comments and i will get to them as soon as i can.
