The Furry Cup
"Why are you so mean?!" I scream.
"Why are you so gay?" my mom screams back.
"Keith is my boyfriend and I love him!!!"
"I hope you-"
I slam the door and run to the school crying.
I get to the cook entrance and type in the passcode. I walk through the kitchen and make sure all the lights are off. I see the cheerleaders up ahead.
"Hey sexy" I say behind Samantha
"Don't scare me like that," she says laughingly.
"Ok, we will be taking a train to the new school competition," The coach says, "but first we must go get a checkup at the hospital.
We walk to the hospital and walk inside. I meet Keith and Sam.
"Hey ghetto booty." Keith says
"You heard about that?" I ask laughing
"What happened?" Sam asks.
"We're doing charcoal drawings in art and Katelyn had to draw me and she said that she had to draw my ghetto booty."
"Oh."
We walk into a room. The nurse calls in Sam. I start to shake, I'm scared that they're going to dock my tail.
"Mac?" The doctor asks.
"That's my middle name." I say hopping up and going in the room.
I lay down on the table as my chest, hands, hair, and feet turn purple. (for those who don't know me I have spots on my chest, hands, hair, and feet that change with my mood. Purple is scared). The nurse comes in and takes my blood pressure, height, and weight. The doctor comes in and looks at my eyes, ears, and fur. He strokes his hand through the white part of my fur and I watch as a huge clump falls out. I scream at the top of my lungs.
"MY FUR!!!!!!!!! No no no no!" I scream struggling.
"We have to get a blood sample, DNA, and a small skin sample," The doctor says, "nurse get the sleeping mask and his girlfriend."
"He's my boyfriend and I'm not gonna sleep!" I say trying to bite the doctor.
The nurse and Keith enter the room. The nurse has Keith hold my legs and arms as she tightens restraints on them. I'm still struggling as the doctor presses the sleeping mask over my muzzle.
"Why isn't it working?" the doctor asks.
"He's a dancer, a swimmer, a cheerleader, and a singer, he's holding his breath." Keith says.
I nod and try to struggle. The doctor whispers something to Keith and he looks at me sadly and nods. He walks over to me grabs my tail and CHOMP! he bites down. I howl using all my oxygen up in seconds. My eyes widen and I stare right at Keith as I inhale deeply and let the world go cloudy.
"Baaaaaaaaaaaby" I hear a distorted far-away voice call.
"Hmmmmmm?" I say as I slowly come to.
"Hey Tye," he says.
"Hmmm... Oh my gosh who are you and why are you calling me Tye?" I yell at the wolf.
"Its me Keith" it says.
"What happened?" I scream.
"My adult fur grew in he says pointing to the green lines that accent his muscles right next to the blue stripes, yours has too Tie"
"Why are you calling me that?" I say looking down "Oh my gosh."
My fur that used to be white is now a tye-dye pattern. I scream and feel my head, the fur that hung down like a girl's is now shorter and spiky with bangs in front of my eyes. I check myself out in the mirror, not only is my fur color different, its placement is somehow off. I flick my tail to look at it, I still have it but it is fluffier than I remember it.
"Your butt is hanging out of the gown they put on you," Keith giggles.
"I'm still wearing underwear right?" I ask
"Yea"
"Ok"
"Don't panic but they also took blood and a small piece of skin."
"How big?"
"It's that scab on your arm"
"I have to admit," I say biting my lip "I like my new look."
"There's a train waiting for us outside," Keith says "they've picked up the big predator school already, we should get Sam and go to our booth.
We go into the train and find a small booth. There is a purple, pink, and green cheetah in there. He looks up and smiles at us as we walk in. Sam wiggles uncomfortably; he has a fear of being eaten. I sit down with the cheetah and Sam sits with Keith.
"Hi I'm uhhh... James" the cheetah says
"I'm... well just call me Sky it's a new nickname I got, that's Keith and that's Sam"
"My name's not really James." He says looking down.
"What is it?" I ask
My parents thought I was a girl so they named me... Orchid,"
"That's a pretty name,"
"Thanks,"
"Is something wrong?"
"I-I'm gay." He says crying.
I hug him and gently rub his fur.
"It's ok I'm bi and Keith is my boyfriend,"
"Lucky,"
"Shhhhh..." I say kissing him on the cheek
"I'm sorry"
"It's ok Orchid"
We get to the competition. The rooms for boys are on the left and the girls are on the right. Our room is painted green. I unpack our stuff and we get to the first competition, soccer.
The whistle is blown and we play against the big predators. I slip and fall into a wolf girl and she hits her face on a bleacher. She spits out a tooth and a bit of blood.
"I'm so sorry!" I scream
"It's a pup-tooth it was gonna come out anyway"
"I'm taking you to a nurse!" I say picking her up
"Wait," she says as I run to the nurse.
We wait for the nurse to get back as she holds a paper towel over the spot.
"Do you have the tooth?" I ask
"Yea it bit me as I fell on it," she giggles
"I remember that giggle... Moony?"
"Rainy?"
"Oh my gosh, Luna its you!" I say to the silver wolf with wispy hair pulled into a ponytail.
"You look so different," she says
"Didn't you get your adult fur?"
"Yea," she says putting her hair down to show a violet streak in her hair. "I don't like it."
"It's pretty"
"I guess"
The nurse comes in and takes one look.
"It's a pup-tooth when she stops bleeding she'll be able to play again."
"I'm good," she says standing up.
We walk back to the game. The teams are tied and I get subbed in for the last few seconds. The ball comes flying through the air towards me. I kick it out of the air and into the goal.
"We won!" Keith yells back at our room.
My phone rings.
"Unknown,"
I answer it, "Hello?... Mmhhhmmm Keith is a healthy wolf, Sam is a little late on his growth... and I'm ... ok I'll sit down...oh my! Ok, thank you, I understand."
I hang up my phone, howl, and run away crying. Keith chases after me and catches me.
"What's wrong?" he asks.
"I-I inherited weird genes from my parents," I say crying, "and im a rainbow wolf-fox hybrid thingy."
"What's so bad about that?"
"Both my parents are wolves and they are both light gray."
"It's ok babe," he says hugging me.
"I'm gonna call my mom."
"Hello mom... no I'm sorry... yea I got my adult fur and I found out im a wolfish fox thingy... yea ok I love you to."
"I think you would be called a wolfox." Keith says
"Let's go get dinner." I say walking to the cafeteria.
I finish my dinner fairly quickly. Then Sam asks me to get some ketchup. As I walk past the football playing big predators they hand me a bottle."
I go to the table, give it to him, and he squeezes the bottle, nothing happens. I grab the bottle and look at it.
"BOOM!" the bottle sprays ketchup all over my fur.
I pour some on Sam's tray and then go to the table of the predators, out of the corner of my eye I see Keith leave
"I take amazing care of my fur! I am out for blood!"
I go to the room and walk into the bathroom. I see my swim trunks on the toilet with a note.
"Put these on, open the door and get in the shower. -K"
I do and Keith walks in wearing his trunks.
"You have a very nice body" Keith says
"Thanks," I blush
He grabs the shampoo, hesitates, and starts to rub his paws gently through my fur.
"It's so soft," he whispers
"You don't have to whisper."
"Sorry... so I hear u sing in the shower."
"Do I have to?" I blush
"Pwease?" he asks with puppy dog eyes.
"What song?"
"Can you do short versions of 'Bad Romance' 'Marry the Night' 'Turn Me On' and 'Unstoppable' please?"
"Ok,"
" Rah-rah-ah-ah-ah-ro-ma-ro-ma-ma-gaga-ooh-la-la want your bad romance."

"Uh, uh, d-d-d-don't let me die young, I just want you to father my young, I just want you to be my doctor, we can get it cracking chiropractor,"

"Happy now?"
"Very"
We spend a while longer in the shower with him scrubbing my fur."
I put on my sleep clothes, fake walking away and hide in the shadows, Keith starts to get into his sleep clothes. When he is dressed I growl and pounce, he turns just in time to see a streak of color hit him and kiss him.
"This is new." He says.
"How?" I ask.
"My now squeaky clean rainbow, wolfox boyfriend is dominating me."
"I'm just laying on top of you."
"Can I smell your fur?" he asks.
"Sure," I say rolling him on top.
He presses his muzzle into my fur and inhales deeply.
"Mmmmm... Its so soft and flowery smelling."
"Thanks," I say.
"I'm tired." He says
"Me too,"
"I can't sleep though"
"Here." I say giving him a paw massage.
He falls asleep almost instantly
"Good night sweetie." I say.
I fall asleep next to him.
