The Time of My Life Chapter 9 -- Waking, Shopping, and Chillaxing

CHAPTER 9
This chapter starts where Radin is in the hospital from last night's accident. This story will be compressed into three segments.
Location: Arlington Memorial Hospital
Date: 12/24/10 Friday (Christmas Eve)
Time: 1:45pm
Chapter 9.1 -- Christmas Eve Morning at the Hospital
I woke up to Daez sitting next to me, staring out the window, probably thinking if I will ever wake up. I looked around the sterile white room. I was disgusted of being around all of the medical equipment. I was fine, just a little bruised up is all. The fall did'nt hurt that bad, but the burning gunpowder sure did. I got up from the bed, sneaking behing Daez and startling him as he turned around. He stared at me as I sat back down on the bed, and said, "Radin, you're alright. I would've thought the gun blowing up would've killed you." I said back, "it would've if I had my head closer to the gun, which thank god I did'nt." I then said sternly, "what are they going to do about Surn and Daustin?" Daez said, "Surn is in the ER getting his leg taken care of. They cant find an entry point, but they saw a whelp on his skin." I said back, "I only shot a blank, plus he should suffer through it, he deseves that for shooting you and me." "I had a restraining order put on them this morning, so it should be in affect. If they come anywhere within 100 feet of our house, we are allowed to shoot them with a REAL gun." Daez said smiling. I laughed at the thought of that and asked Daez if he could sign me out so I could get out of here. "Sure, I will sign you out, but maybe do you think we could get some lunch? I parked your truck down in the parking lot." I nodded yes and he went to sign me out.
I looked at the clock, I realized it was already 2pm. I picked up my phone and it had 7 messages on it. My mom was wondering when we would come home. I texted her saying we would be out in about 30 minutes. Daez then came back in and told me we could leave at 2:30pm. I sat back in the bed and Daez sat in the chair. We talked about what happened last night and how dangerous and stupid it was.
Sure enough, it was 2:30 and we walked out of the hospital thanking the doctors and nurses.
Chapter 9.2 -- Christmas Eve Celebration
Daez drove back home while I flew back. Daez pulled into the driveway, instantly getting hugged from my mom. She asked where I was and I landed right behind her. She turned around in suprise and looked at my metal wings. She had never seen them before and asked if I always had them. I said yes, but they were usually tied to my back. But I have been using them a lot lately. I walked in the house and saw all of the christmas decor all lit up. She gave me 4 christmas cards from my relatives and let me open them up. After I opened them all, I collected $300.00!!! She then gave Daez three cards from his relatives and opened them. He recieved $285.00. My mom also gave me and Daez $150.00 extra to spend on for christmas gifts. She also said we can go shopping when we figure out what we want. Me and Daez wanted to buy a laptop so we turned on the computer and looked on Walmart's website. I found a laptop that I wanted. Here are the details:

25 Minutes Later...
We were at walmart looking for our laptops. Daez got the last of the one he wanted and I got the second to last one of what I wanted. We stood in the LONG line and we finally bought our laptops. The cashier was suprised about how much cash we had, and she bagged up the laptops. Then we walked out the store and back to the truck.
Chapter 9.3 -- Evening Relaxation
Location: Darkflame Gameroom
Date: 12/24/10
Time: 7:50pm
We were opening our laptops up, impressed with the sleek design of the laptops. We started them up and started setting them up, creating back-up discs and customizing them. Then I started adding music to mine, while Daez got on the internet. he was looking at his email. We I was done updating my music library I checked my email, and I had over 1,500 emails!!!
Two Hours Later...
Time: 10:00pm
Location: Darkflame Gameroom
Christmas Eve
I was just about done organizing my email, when my phone rang. It was my mom telling us not to come down or we will ruin the christmas suprise. So we played video games until about 11pm. We cuddled into bed, embracing each other as we fell into a very deep sleep.
