TLoS: The Resurrection of Ferveras CH.1
As the Black fortress cracks, so too does the the sculpture. Broken by the quake of a dying realm, the sculpture releases it prisoner, screaming from the pain of his flesh being restored to him. Through all the pain, the rage, and the chaos, a single voice calls out to him. It tells Ferveras to quickly find the portal leading out of the realm. Wanting to wast no time, he rises against his body's wishes and finds the exit.
he takes no time in admiring the destruction of the realm begins his journey. jumping from platform to platform and using the creatures native to the cage of malefor, he makes his way to the portal. Arriving at the portal and not wanting to lose his momentum, he sprints through the portal, uncaring for where it may take him.
The sensation of being displaced over takes ferveras as the portal spits him out like how paradise casts out a sinner. he does not pass out however, as the pain of his restoration still holds his eyes open. The voice calls to him again. It says "You made it out of the cage? good this wil be the last time I speak to you so take heed of my words. A handful of locals is making their way towards you. You will have to fight. After you're done, make your way north to the city of Valendrral. The world has changed greatly since you last rested your eyes upon it, so you may not like what you find in Valendrral's place. Ready yourself now, as here they come."
Just as the voice told Ferveras, six hostile native had arrived. Ferveras was Surprised at what he was going to deal with, for they were giant, talking apes. The leader of the apes comes forward and speaks. "You There!" he says "I don't know who or what you are, but I know that my men are hungry. You have to understand that to survive this world you do anything for survival. Hell, you're the most unappetizing thing we have seen today, but our normal food of choice continues to evade us. "You say things," Ferveras replies "But all I hear is overgrown shit-slinger talking out of its hide. you think that eating me will satisfy your hunger? well come over and we'll all find out."
Visibly insulted by Ferveras' comments, the commander of the group goes to swing his bone club. This attempt fails as Ferveras sweeps the commander's legs out from under him. grabbing the bone club, Ferveras crushes the head of the commander, breaks the bone in two, and throws the two fragments of the weapon into the skulls of two other apes. The other three begin to attack only for two of the three to meet a similar end. the sixth ape begins to run only for for the unfortunate soul to be grabbed by Ferveras. " You know, Being out here naked makes me cold." He states. "I bet your hide will make an excellent coat." With that las statement He Breaks the apes neck and proceeds to skin the corpse. Now in something other than his bare skin Ferveras heads to the location of Valendrral.
