So last time we got to take a look at Latias' battle and she has succeeded, yay! So now it's Latios' turn, so who's gonna be his opponent? Let's read and found out!

WARNING: This story contains strong language, yaoi, and some sex scenes. If you are mature about it please read on. If not, DON'T READ IT!!! You have been warned.

Thirty-Eighth Chapter, Enjoy! \o.o/ ..........

"Heh, well here comes my next Pokemon! Come on out!" Roark shouted before throwing out his other Pokeball out into the battlefield and soon releases his next Pokemon to battle against Latios.

The Pokeball opens with a flash of white light; shining for a couple seconds before a Geodude was revealed. The Rock Pokemon was flexing his arms before glancing at its opponent with fearlessness in his expression.

The blue Eon Pokemon looks back towards Geodude before giving a small chuckle, 'Hehe, as much as I don't want to admit this, this is gonna be easy.' He thought to himself with some cockiness in it. As much as he knows that it doesn't matter what Pokemon to use in a battle since pretty much any Pokemon can win at the end depending how well trained they were and how their trainer uses them, he can't help but feel slightly over confident about this. 'It's a Geodude, how hard can it be to knockout one?'

'Huh... well, at least I don't need to worry so much.' David thought once seeing Latios' opponent is a simple Geodude. 'But I'll make sure to keep a sharp eye, just to be sure... Roark might have something up his sleeve.' He thought while he then saw the blue Eon Pokemon floating into the battlefield, having a confident smirk on his face.

"Oh yeah! Latios is battling this time; this will be an easy win for him!" Marcus said excitedly while he's on the edge of his seat, not wanting to miss this opportunity to see the blue Eon Pokemon in action. Chad beside him only snorts from Marcus' words as he didn't fully agree with it, but nevertheless kept watching the battlefield due to his curiousness about how this will turn out.

Near Marcus and Chad was the Aura Pokemon sitting comfortably with her padded feet propped on the lower seat in front of her, not really looking interested at the moment, 'Do I really have to watch this? I rather take a nap then watch... dragon boy battle some rock with a face and arms.' She thought while gently scratching over a bandage wrapped around her right arm; still feeling a bit sore from that fight she had with the Flame Pokemon last night, which she's still pissed at. 'On second thought... a nap does sound good.' Lucario thought before then having her paws interlock behind her head and then leans her head back, slowly closing her eyes.

Soon, the referee steps up again and announce, "The next round Roark will be using his Geodude against David's Latios. If one of the Pokemon is usable to battle then the other Pokemon and their trainer wins. Now... are you ready?" He asked while looking at both gym leader and trainer, who nods without hesitation. Once confirming that, the referee lifts his arm up high in the air and all was silent for everyone. The suspense was building up for everyone (well almost everyone at least *points at the napping Lucario* x3), especially the gym leader, trainer, and both their Pokemon. But it wasn't long before the referee brought his arm down to chop the air and shouts, "BEGIN!"

..........

This time it was David to start the battle off, "Alright Latios use Dragon Claw!" He said while pointing towards the Rock Pokemon.

"Let's make this quick, shall we?" Latios stated before charging forward with his claws glowing a bluish hue, gaining speed by each passing second as the blue Eon Pokemon comes closer and closer at the Geodude.

"Being hasty are we?" The Rock gym leader asked while giving a small grin. "Why doesn't we be hasty too? Geodude dodge by using Rollout!" Roark commanded quickly, having the Rock Pokemon tense himself up as he prepares to dodge the blue Eon Pokemon's attack. Right at the last second, Geodude rolled out of the way quickly from Latios' attempt to use Dragon Claw on him.

'Damn he's pretty fast.' Latios thought, admitting that since he knows himself that he's quite fast as well. 'No matter, I'll be quicker this time...' He thought while reassuring himself that it was just the first attack and that it's no big deal.

"Latios keep using Dragon Claw, that Geodude is gonna tire out eventually." The trainer declared while watching closely at the Rock Pokemon. 'Hopefully I can end this battle quickly, Treecko here seems pretty restless.' He thought before glancing down at the Gecko Pokemon beside him for a moment, seeing that the small Pokemon was slightly bouncing up and down on his feet; watching with such excitement as if he's got a sugar rush from eating too much candy, which the trainer gave a slight chuckle from the thought before glancing back at the battle before them.

The blue Eon Pokemon made attempts to hit the Rock Pokemon with his Dragon Claw. But every time he tried to get a direct hit, the Geodude would roll out at such perfect timing; just able to dodge out of claws reach. After every attempt, Latios would turn around and use the attack again, only to get his attack dodged from the rolling Rock Pokemon.

"Keep it up Geodude." The gym leader encouraged his Pokemon, having his confident expression on his face again as he then glance at the trainer. "We can do this all day David, you're Latios isn't accomplishing anything if he keeps this up... Well, only to get tired, but that's about it." He said while chuckling from the slight taunting comment being given to the trainer.

David gritted his teeth a bit as he realize this was true, this wasn't going anywhere. If Latios keeps this up, he's the one who's gonna tire out and not Geodude.

"Heh, c'mon man hit my already." The Geodude teased while rolling out of another Latios' Dragon Claw.

"I will if you stop moving for Arceus sake!" Latios said with utter frustration as he could not hit this Pokemon. Not matter what he tried; zig-zags, flying around fast, up and down, left and right, he tried to do to hit the Rock Pokemon in any ways he can, but unfortunately to no avail as the Geodude kept using Rollout to dodge each of his attacks.

"I thought you're kind was supposed to be legendary, this is nothing." The Geodude said mockingly, which made the blue Eon Pokemon even more frustrated.

"What did you just say?! I'll have you know that I can beat your ass once I get my claws on you!" The blue Eon Pokemon shouted while his blood boils up as he starts to pant out from using a lot of his energy.

"Latios stop! You're only tiring yourself out, just... just use Psychic!" David shouted towards his frustrated mate. Soon he realizes something and mentally slap himself, 'Why in god have I didn't thought of Latios using Psychic from the start? Stupid David, stupid!' He thought as he knew that the blue Eon Pokemon had Psychic. But he guessed he was kind of in a rush and he didn't really thought things through, which was a rather rookie mistake he made.

As soon as the blue Eon Pokemon heard his lover's voice, he stops instantly, 'Arceus, he's right... I need to battle smart about this; I'm letting my emotions get in the way of that...' He thought before he slowly begins to calm down, but he was still panting from using a lot of his energy. If his would of think things through at first, then he wouldn't feel this fatigued. "Time to end this you stupid rock." He said before he concentrates, soon having a pinkish hue glowing around his body.

"Oh no you don't, Geodude use those boulders while using Rollout again!" Roark shouted as then the Rock Pokemon immediately uses Rollout. But the thing is that once Geodude uses it, he rolls out towards a nearby boulder; boulders were around the battlefield as Geodude kept rolling and then bounced up on a boulder before bouncing to the next, getting closer towards his opponent.

The Eon Pokemon was focusing on the Rock Pokemon as his eyes begin to glow and everyone could see that Geodude was getting closer and closer as he bounces on each boulder. But at the same time Geodude's ball form slowly begins to glow pink, due to Latios concentrating on his psychic ability on the bouncing Pokemon.

"Yes! Latios has got this, no doubt about it!" Marcus stated with exhilaration, leaning over his chair as he had Chad holding him by his shirt so his trainer wouldn't fall off.

As for Lucario, "ZZZZzzzzz..." Snoring lightly while having little drool dripping at the corner of her maw while the Aura Pokemon kept snoozing.

'C'mon Latios finish this...' David thought while watching the two Pokemon battling each other. The blue Eon Pokemon was about to have full control of the Rock Pokemon's body, until...

"ARRRGGGGG!!!" A shout of pain was heard as that voice in agony was Latios; coughs up as he got a hard hit from Geodude right at his gut when the Rock Pokemon bounced off a boulder and was spinning towards his opponent with incredible speed and power. Thus, not being able to use his Psychic on the Geodude once getting that direct hit.

"Oh no! That can't be good." Marcus said while looking at the situation of the battle with slight shock and worry, still having the Flame Pokemon, Chad, holding his trainer up as he's still leaning over the edge of his seat to see what would happen next.

'Dammit!' The trainer thought while having a pang of worry building up once seeing his mate hurt. Never in his life were he could feel so much worry before up until now. He wanted to go and stop it immediately, but... even whenever the blue Eon Pokemon gets hurt, the trainer knows that his mate is tougher than that and can take a hit. However, he just can't help but feel worry over his lover. So while he watches the battle, he soon felt someone place a hand on his shoulder, or better yet, a paw. Once David turns his head around, he saw Latias.

"Don't worry about Latios, David; if I can take a hit from an Onix then he can certainly take a hit from a little Geodude." The red Eon Pokemon said with reassurance in her voice while having a soft smile. The trainer couldn't help but smile back slightly, having his hand gently pet her head for a moment.

"Thanks Latias." David said while giving her a quick hug before turning his attention back to the battle.

The blue Eon Pokemon wheeze out, trying to take air back in his lungs as he recoils back away from the Rock Pokemon. He knew there will be a bruise around his gut area since that was a pretty hard blow; it almost as if someone threw a brick to his stomach.

'C-C'mon Latios... this is nothing, just suck it up...' The blue Eon Pokemon said mentally, cringing slightly as he then looks around for his opponent, but the Geodude was nowhere to be seen. 'What the...?' He thought while now looking around frantically.

"Latios behind you!" The trainer warned.

"Huh?" The blue Eon said confusingly before looking behind him, but only to get a blow to his face. As a result, making Latios yelp in pain and staggers back. And before he could recover from the sudden blow, another one comes and hits him from a different direction, then soon another, another, and another.

The Rock Pokemon kept using Rollout against Latios. After each blow the Rock Pokemon then bounce off a boulder and hit the blue Eon Pokemon again before he could recover, then bouncing off another boulder and get a direct hit on the blue Eon Pokemon again. This being repeated as Latios kept taking the hit, getting one of the worse beatings he's ever dealt with in a long while.

"You're not the only one who was been training, David. Me and Geodude here did some special training not too long ago, and as you can see... it certainly paid off." Roark said towards the trainer. The trainer himself kept on watching the scene before him, not saying a thing.

"David... David are you okay?" Treecko said beside him as the Gecko Pokemon gently tug on his pants, looking up at the trainer while he's not responsive; he kept watching the battle like he's in some sort of trance.

.......... David's POV Flashback...

I was getting one of the worse beatings of my life. Actually, this is the ONLY beating I've ever got in my life. I've got many cuts and bruises from the assault from what I think should be Latios; if this keeps on going he might kill me!

"Latios! Please stop this. I'm sorry if I'm trespassing in the garden, but I reassure you that I'm no threat!" I shouted, trying to convince him that I wasn't a threat. But he wasn't listening and kept on attacking me.

End of Flashback...

..........

Just watching my mate getting beat up continuously made me get a sudden flashback of myself getting the beating of my life from him. At the battle scene before me I saw myself, looking bruised while having cuts and scrapes all over my body; having my mate, Latios, beating the hell out of me.

But soon that fade away and it instead of me, it was Latios the one getting the shit beating here. I don't know what exactly I'm feeling from this, it's all a mix. Feeling such worry, intimidated, hurtfulness, despair, and grief building up inside of me. The one I love getting a horrible beating reminded me on how much he beated me up back when I first arrive to the secret garden. I shiver a bit from remember all of that.

It wasn't long before I then felt someone shaking me, "Huh... wha...?" I said confusingly before I slowly got to my senses and it was Latias who was the one bringing me back to reality.

"David, what in Arceus are you doing?! Get back to your senses because your mate is getting beat to death out there!" The red Eon Pokemon said while pointing out towards where Geodude kept hitting my lover.

Quickly I shook my head and said my thanks to Latias before looking ahead and shouts, "Latios! Get out of there, just dodge Geodude!"

I don't know if Latios heard me, but after I said that he just kept taking it; getting even more bruised while having more cuts and scrapes all around his body. However, it didn't take long that it was too much for him as another Rollout from Geodude got one good blow to his head and it sent my mate down to the ground with a painful groan.

"Latios!" Me, Latias, and Treecko all shouted with worry. Witnessing what the battle is turning out as the blue Eon Pokemon looks almost motionless on the ground.

.......... (Normal POV)

"Hmm...?" Stirred a certain Aura Pokemon as she slowly sat properly on her seat before rubbing her eyes. "Why in Arceus is everyone yelling?" She asked herself in annoyance before glancing at the battlefield, only to see Geodude standing and Latios on the ground, looking knocked out. "Oh? Well, well, well... what do we have here?" She asked herself again before leaning on her seat and watches with some interest now.

"No way, this can't be..." Marcus said. Dumbfounded for the fact that Latios looks to be defeated. Chad on the other hand looked rather worrisome for the blue Eon Pokemon, getting a beating like that is something no Pokemon should get and that Latios was just taking it, it made the Flame Pokemon feel even more sympathy for him.

"... I knew you weren't that good of a Pokemon... Heh, must have been your trainer." The rock Pokemon said towards the laying Latios. "Yeah that's probably it, your trainer must of trained you poorly... your trainer is quite pathetic if you ask me..." Geodude mocked while chuckling even more. But what's unknown to the Rock Pokemon is that Latios had his eyes snap open, bloodshot from the amount of exhaustion from losing a lot of his energy and getting a good beat up, and also... anger from what Geodude has said.

The referee steps up once again, pointing towards Latios and announce, "Latios is unable to-" He was about to finish, but soon everyone heard a groan from the blue Eon Pokemon as he slowly starts moving. Eventually getting up and floats up weakly while glaring towards the Rock Pokemon.

Everyone cheers for Latios' sign of not giving up, but they still felt some concern considering that he looks in pretty bad condition.

"N-No one... and I mean NO ONE... ever say something like that about my trainer and gets away with it..." The blue Eon said while having his head slightly down, enough for his eyes to shadow in front of the Geodude. Almost immediately Latios' body begins to glow a pinkish hue around his body, but this time the brightness and radiation of its color is emphasised, looking as if pink fire is radiating off of him.

"Whoa, what's going on here Latias? Is this natural?" David asked the red Eon Pokemon, it seems to look like Latios is going to use Psychic, but he never saw how the pink hue around the blue Eon's body to be expressed more.

"I'm... I'm just as clueless as you are David, I've never seen Latios do something like this before." Latias answered while watching her brother in the battlefield with concern and some anxiety still dwelling inside for her Eon sibling.

'This doesn't look good, we need to do something fast...' Roark thought while he stares at the blue Eon Pokemon, never seeing something like this before. "Geodude quick use Rollout!" He ordered while watching closely to see what Latios would be doing, but it was hard to tell since the blue Eon Pokemon is just floating motionless with his head down.

Once hearing his gym leader, the Rock Pokemon soon went into a ball form again and quickly rolls towards Latios with great speed.

"Latios! Get out of the way, dodge it!" David shouted, but what confuse him is that the blue Eon Pokemon didn't listen and stays motionless. "Latios did you hear me?! Get out of the way or you're gonna get hit!" He said with more desperation and worry, seeing the Geodude coming closer and closer towards his mate.

"Ohhh I can't watch!" The Gecko Pokemon said while bringing his paws up and covers his eyes, not wanting to see what's about to come.

Everything seems to go in slow motion, Geodude rolling closer and closer towards Latios before the Rock Pokemon bounces off the ground and is airborne, spinning at top speed. The trainer closes his eyes as he didn't want to see his mate getting hurt.

'I'm so sorry Latios...' David thought while he was waiting for the referee to announce who won and who lose, but... it didn't come. He waits for a moment longer, but he still didn't hear the referee announce Latios' defeat. The trainer decided to peek open an eye so see what's going on, and what his saw shocks him.

What's display to everything's eyes is that Geodude stopped in midair right in front of Latios. The Rock Pokemon's body glowing a pink hue surrounding his body, looking in absolute shock that his attempt on using Rollout put it in a complete stop.

Everyone waited on what the blue Eon Pokemon was going to do next, and after a moment, he soon brought his head up. Facing the Rock Pokemon with his eyes glowing a very bright pink, almost looking white.

"No one calls my trainer pathetic..." Latios said with intimidation in his voice, not looking very happy. "It's not him that's pathetic... it's you..." It was the last thing the blue Eon Pokemon said before Geodude was suddenly sent flying into a nearby boulder with a rather loud smash.

"Geodude!" Roark cried, feeling shocked and worry for his Pokemon. But what the gym leader didn't know that there was more to come for his Geodude.

It didn't stop there; soon the Rock Pokemon collides into another boulder, then another and another. At some point Geodude was being slam repeatedly onto the ground, as if the Pokemon was some kind of ball.

"Oh Arceus this is so epic!" Marcus exclaimed, having himself leaning over his seat again while Chad had to hold him up once more by the trainer's shirt so he wouldn't fall. Though that would be a good idea to the Flame Pokemon if he just let go of his trainer's shirt.

After a moment of slamming and bouncing the Rock Pokemon around, it stops when the Geodude skids across the battlefield. While on the other hand the blue Eon Pokemon slowly begins to stop glowing as the pink fire-like energy subsides from his body, lowing himself to the ground while panting heavily from over using his Psychic ability a bit.

"Geodude, get up!" The Rock gym leader called out, looking like his Geodude isn't moving. Although after a moment, the Rock Pokemon slowly got up with a painful groan. Geodude's condition isn't looking very good either as he had scrapes and bruises around his body, almost just as much as the blue Eon Pokemon himself. "Yes! This isn't over yet David, my Geodude is still standing." Roark announced while the trainer grits his teeth again, really thought that this battle was over.

'Damn... I don't want Latios anymore hurt, it just breaks my heart seeing the condition he's in now.' David thought while glancing at his mate ahead of him, seeing that Latios is quite exhausted and weak from this battle. Never have the trainer thought that Roark's Geodude was so quick and powerful, but he guess that's always something you would never expect, especially in battles; you never know what your opponent's Pokemon is capable of sometimes.

"Geodude let's finish this, use Seismic Toss!" Roark commanded while pointing at the tired out Eon Pokemon. Thus, having the Rock Pokemon nod at this and charges forward towards Latios, but not as fast as it should go since getting handled like a rag-doll took a lot out of the Pokemon.

"Latios get out of there!" David warned, but was soon as the blue Eon Pokemon tried to escape, the next thing he knew, he was being squeezed tight in the arms of the Rock Pokemon.

"Gah!" Latios yelped while struggling to get out. But he was too tired as the arms of the Rock Pokemon were too strong to get out of. Soon after that they both soar up into the air, getting higher and higher.

"Yes Geodude, finish him off!" The gym leader said while grinning from seeing his Geodude and his opponent up high in the air, having his confidence back as he feels this battle is going to be over once they hit the ground.

"Latios!" The trainer cried, watching the scene playing out as he was about to see Latios' fate of defeat.

.......... (Latios' POV)

Everything was going so fast for me, I felt so exhausted and weak from battling that stupid looking rock. I can't believe I couldn't defeat someone as weak looking at this Pokemon. I know it isn't over yet... but once we hit the ground then I'll be history. The fact that I didn't defeat this Pokemon made me felt that I wasn't strong then I thought I was. Made me feel like I've let my David down; if I couldn't beat this Geodude, then how am I supposed to protect David if someone comes in just as quick and strong as this Geodude? Heck what if even more quick and powerful?

'Way to go Latios... you've not only fail for yourself, but to your mate as well...' I thought while giving one last attempt to escape those freakishly strong arms from the Rock Pokemon, but he knew it wasn't doing any good.

Soon I heard my lover call out my name, making me turn my head to look down at him from so high up. Right when I saw those brown eyes of my David, it had so much worry and sadness in it that those eyes just made something kicks in inside of me.

'I can't fail my mate now... not without fighting back...' I realized in the mind as I then turn back to look at Geodude while I then wrap my arms around him tightly, not letting the damn Pokemon escape with all the strength I had left. "I'm not going down without a fight!" I yelled while then turn both our body upside-down in the air before we soon begin descending down towards the ground.

"H-Hey let go if me!" The Rock Pokemon shouted while he was the one trying to escape, but I wasn't going to let him.

As we gain speed from gravity, I soon start spinning us around before everything around us turns into a rushing blur, making us go down faster than ever.

"If I'm going down, you're going down with me!" I yelled again while we spin faster and faster, going down faster and faster as I can sense we're closing the distance between us and the ground of the battlefield below us. 'If I end up losing... at least I lost without giving up this fight...' It was the last thing I thought before I close my eyes, preparing for what's coming at both me and my opponent.

.......... (Normal POV)

"Oh Arceus what's going on?!" Roark said while looking at the two Pokemon spinning towards the ground. "Geodude get out of there!"

"Latios let go!" David shouted while seeing both Pokemon getting closer to the battleground at top speed.

What's unknown to both gym leader and trainer is that neither of their Pokemon can escape since they were holding on to each other so the other wouldn't escape as they wouldn't plummet to the ground alone.

Before anyone could believe what's happening, both Pokemon land onto the ground with a loud and painful crash. The collision was so brutal that it created debris of dirt, rocks and sand fly around the battle area around where both Pokemon landed.

Soon, both Pokemon came out skidding across the battlefield towards their trainer and gym leader. Right in the center of the battlefield was a large crater that was formed from both Pokemon made when falling to the ground.

"Latios!"

"Geodude!"

Both trainer and gym leader called out to their Pokemon, and soon the blue Eon and Rock Pokemon tries to get up with such struggle and weakness to their body. But... it was too much for them and both fall back to the ground; Geodude knocked out and Latios barely conscious as they stay motionless.

It wasn't before long that the referee look at both Pokemon and soon step up and announce, "Both Geodude and Latios are unable to battle, it's a tie breaker here!" He said while bringing both arms up and makes an 'X' shape with them, indicating that it was a tie. "Just a reminder to all that ties doesn't count as a win so the gym leader, Roark, can still battle against the challenger." He said while looking at both David and Roark to see if there are any objections before speaking again. "Whoever can win the last round will be the winner."

Once that was said the trainer immediately went off the large block of stone he was standing on and ran to his mate, "Latios!" He cried while then soon coming up to his lover and kneels down to cradle the Eon Pokemon in his arms.

"D-David... I'm... I'm sorry I didn't win the battle for us, I was too weak..." Latios manage to say while weakly looking up to his David, barely having his arms wrap around his trainer.

"No-No, don't say that! You did your best out there and that's enough for me, I'm just glad the battle's over and having you still awake." David said while holding his lover closer, relieved that Latios doesn't have to battle for the rest of the day and can get some rest.

Latios was about to say more to criticize himself, but... he decides against it and just be in the arms of his mate, "Thanks David." He said while holding himself against his trainer a little tighter while purring out weakly. 'Just wish I could have done better out there once when my battle with Geodude started.' He thought while feeling a bit disappointed, but regardless of that, he's happy that he doesn't have his lover worry over him and that he gets to rest now.

"Aww, it was a tie?! C'mon it's obvious that Latios was still conscious after that landing, he should have won!" Marcus yelled at the referee as he was about to get up from his seat and talk some sense to the guy, but he was held back by Chad holding the trainer's shirt collar. The Flame Pokemon mentally face-palm himself, feeling slightly embarrassed from his trainer's little spasm.

Over at where Lucario was sitting she looked pretty amused and soon claps her paws together, giving at least some respect for that interesting battle. 'No bad... though I knew that Latios could of battle smarter than that. Fighting with your emotions is a no-no when it comes to battling, and he should have remembered that.' The Aura Pokemon thought, but she gave the poor Pokemon some slack and knew that he did a pretty good job on holding his end up when making a comeback. Even though it wasn't quite enough for him to win, but he still got a tie and that they still have a chance to win this.

While all this was going on, the gym leader soon lets out a sigh, "... Well... at least we know that me and Geodude gave all we had out there." Roark said to himself while pulling out the Rock Pokemon's Pokeball. "Geodude return!" He called out before opening the Pokeball and the red beam hits the knocked out Pokemon and is quickly consume into the Pokeball. "Get some rest my friend..." He said towards the Pokeball containing his Geodude before soon putting it back into his belt.

While David and Latios were still holding each other, it wasn't long that Latias and Treecko came running up as well.

"David is Latios okay?" The Gecko Pokemon asked while looking concern for his Eon friend.

"Don't worry you guys he's okay, just sore and tired." The trainer told both Treecko and Latias, having one of his hands holding Latios' paw, giving a gentle squeeze.

"Here David let me carry him." Latias said patiently and has the trainer nodding, shortly getting Latios up and help him lean onto his Eon sister.

"You guys can rest now, you two need it." David said while having both his hands go and gently pet each of Latias and Latios' head.

After a moment David and his companions notice the referee coming towards them as he spoke, "You know there's a mini Pokemon Center in this gym, it's something new for every gym lately. But anyways I can lead both your Pokemon to it and get Nurse Joy to patch them up." He suggested while the trainer nods.

"Yes that'd be much appreciated, thank you." David said while shaking the referee's hand.

The referee nods before gesturing both Eon siblings to follow him and they did slowly, having themselves leaning against each other. It wasn't long before all three of them disappear into the back doors of the gym, leaving just the trainer and Treecko who stayed behind as well as everyone else.

"Well when the referee comes back it's time to choose our last Pokemon for this final round!" Roark said while pulling out his last Pokeball out of his belt, looking quite confident again since it seems to be his best Pokemon.

'Save the best for last, it's like every gym battle.' The trainer thought while glancing at the gym leader. 'If I remember correctly it should be... Rampardos...' He realized as he shudders a bit, knowing that Rampardos it Roark's best Pokemon in his team, who knows what that Pokemon can do. He knows that Latias and Latios are recovering at the back of the gym, and Lucario isn't really in the best condition to battle right now ever since last night all out brawl against Chad. 'So that would leave...' He trailed off in his thought before turning his head and glance down to look at the Gecko Pokemon. 'Treecko...'

"I'm pretty sure you know that my last Pokemon should be the best in my team so... which is your last Pokemon you're gonna battle against my last?" Roark said with a smirk spread across his face.

The trainer then looks at the Rock gym leader before looking back at the Gecko Pokemon, "Well... looks like it's just you and me little buddy." He said, shortly kneeling down to Treecko's level and has his hand gently laying on the Gecko's head. "You up for this last battle Treecko? It's all up to you."

The Gecko Pokemon looks unsure at first and maybe felt a bit nervous, but nonetheless gave a slight nod, "Yeah... I'm ready David..."

..........

Ahhh, cliffhanger! Gotta love those. x3

But anyways it looks like Treecko will be battling against Roark's best Pokemon in his team, Rampardos. This seems it's going to be a David vs. Goliath type battle, who will come out the winner in the end? Who knows till the next chapter comes out (which I don't know when it's gonna come out, but it will sooner or later!).

You know strength comes in numbers, so add this to your favs, rate this 5/5 stars, and obviously watch me. :3

So keep an eye out next for Ch.39 in, "David's Start of a New Adventure!"
