"No you... WON'T!" Hazard woke up with a gasping yell. He found himself on his bed, covered in cold sweat, apparently waking up from a bad dream. He was panting heavily and catching his breath, slowly calming down when he realized it was just a nightmare and sighing in relief. "Damn that dream..." he mumbled to himself, wiping the sweat off of his brows with a palm. He had been having this reoccurring nightmare every now and then throughout his long lived life, and every time it ended up with him waking up with a fright and sweating bullets. He just couldn't get used to it despite having it one too many times.

The wolf reached out to the drawer next to his bed for his glasses and put them on to look at the alarm clock, seeing that it past 9 in the morning; not that he couldn't tell from bright sun beams lighting up the whole room. His nose then picked up an unusual smell; unusually good and smart. Like some good food was being cooked.

Hazard got up and decided to investigate the source of that tasty smell, and as he stepped out of his room, he ran into Panja, who apparently got lured by the same smell.

"Morning, Haz! Hey, do you smell that?" Panja said when he saw the golden wolf.

"Yeah... smells good," Hazard replied.

"So GOOD! I wonder where it's coming from."

"I think it's coming from Sas's place," Hazard then stated and went over next door to Sasuga's apartment with Panja following him closely. He knocked on the door and got an instant response.

"Come in," Sasuga's voice answered from inside, as the two opened the door and went inside, only to see that the kirin wasn't alone. Right over by the kitchen corner they saw Rinami busy cooking, complete with an apron and all.

"Hey you guys! Good morning! You're just in time! Breakfast will be ready in a couple minutes, just wait for a bit!" Rinami greeted them with a bright smile as she looked back at them while her hands were skillfully busy handling the cooking and grilling.

"Uhh... Hey," Hazard muttered back, blinking in confusion.

"Oh, that smells good! Thanks!" Panja gladly went over to the table and sat down next to Sassy, who had an amused smile on her face, enjoying the reaction on Hazard's face. The wolf followed suit and sat on her other side, still confused.

"What's going on here?" Hazard asked.

"Well, I took your advice and asked Rinami to be my roommate and she accepted. She moved in late last night. Sorry I didn't tell you any sooner, but the look on your face now made it worth the risk," Sasuga answered with a grin as Hazard narrowed his eyebrows.

"Oh, you're getting evil, kirin," Hazard remarked, nudging her with an elbow.

"Hah! She's learning from me!" Panja laughed.

"Don't blame Sasuga. I made her not tell. I wanted to surprise you!" Rinami explained as she was putting the finishing touches on the dishes. "And done!" the foxy girl announced as she carried a bunch of plates all by herself and served them on the table.

"Hotdamn, this looks mighty tasty!" Panja exclaimed impressively as he looked at the well-made breakfast dishes spread across the table, which consisted of bacon and cheese stuffed omelet, boiled sausages with sour sauce and maple syrup covered pancakes.

"Yeah, I'm impressed..." Hazard blinked.

"Oh, this is nothing! It's just a simple breakfast!" Rinami modestly reacted, blushing a bit.

"Wow, Rinami... You did all of this by yourself? I'm feeling bad now that I couldn't help you preparing them," Sasuga said, amazed at the yellow vixen cooking skills.

"Aww, don't say that! I'm grateful that you're letting me stay here. I picked up some cooking during my life, so I'm glad they could be of some use to you guys. You need to be fed good homemade food to give you your needed strength, so leave that to me!" Rinami replied earnestly. "Well, what are you waiting for? Dig in!"

And dug in they did, and after they chewed in the first bite, they stood silent for a few moments, making Rinami nervous.

"Is it... not good?" Rinami murmured awkwardly.

"Oh my GOD! This is the best food I've ever tasted in my whole life! It's like eating heaven!" Panja suddenly proclaimed.

"Yes! This omelet is amazing! It melts so deliciously in my mouth!" Sasuga agreed.

"I think what they're saying is, yeah, it is good, Rina. Damn good. Great job!" Hazard complimented her as he started eating the pancake, as Rinami was completely thrilled.

"Oh, that's good! You guys had me worried there for a second. I'm happy you liked it!" Rinami replied elatedly.

"I LOVE IT! Can I have seconds?!" Panja asked hungrily as he already finished his plate.

"Sure! You better finish it all off, because I have a little treat baking in the oven after this," Rinami teased ambiguously.

"Mmmm, can't wait! With such good food, may I kiss the chef?" Panja then said playfully and made Rinami blush. He then got a kick on his shin from under the table, obviously from Hazard. "Ow! What gives!?"

"Stop saying stupid things," Hazard replied

"Awww, are you jealous for me or her? Ow!" Panja teased before he received another kick.

"Hazard, stop being so mean!" Rinami said.

"Yeah, stop being so mean, Hazzy! You so lucked out with Rinami, Sassy. Wanna trade roomies?" Panja winked.

"Stop talking and just eat, dammit!" Hazard snarled.

"Sorry, Panja, I think I'll keep her around for a while," Sasuga shook her head with a chuckle.

"Oh, come on, you guys, you're making me feel embarrassed!" Rinami shyly expressed. "Ah, I think they should be read now." She went back to the kitchen and opened the oven, bringing out a tray of chocolate muffins. "Hope you guys like muffins!"

"NICE! I love muffins! They're like sexy women breasts; plump and firm from the outside, soft and cushy from the inside!" the white lion forwardly expressed as Hazard covered his face with his palm with a sigh while Rinami couldn't help but blush at that.

"Don't worry, you'll get used to this," Sasuga whispered to her new roommate.

"I think I can!" Rinami cheerfully replied. She found herself fitting in rather well and actually enjoying it.

At Shishi-O Co. building, Seif was going through some paper work at his office desk when his telecom rang.

"Yes?" the blond lion rumbled as he answered the call.

"Sir, it's Mr. Markis, the private eye. He's here to see you," his secretary informed him through the telecom speaker.

"Let him in," Seif replied.

"Yes, sir." She ended the call and a moment later, the door opened and male canine, a grey great dane in a trench coat, entered the office.

"Good day, Mr. Lowefang. As you requested, I came as soon as I got the results of the medicine you wanted to analyze," the private eye said promptly as soon as stood in front of Seif's desk, handing him a large closed envelope. Seif grabbed the envelope silently and opened it, pulling out the results papers from inside of it and giving its contents a quick look.

"So what does it say exactly?" Seif asked.

"Well, from what I could gather from the lab, the medicine is pretty much harmless. Except..."

"Except what?"

"Except that they said there was an unidentified component that they found in the vitamin supplements. It was something that they couldn't find in their medical database. And what's more, when they run some test on that mystery component, they saw that it had some kind of rejuvenating qualities," the great dane explained.

"Rejuvenating qualities?" Seif gave him a puzzled look.

"Yeah, kinda like the ones they have in energy drinks or something. But this one wasn't known to them, so it's most likely being made in ToraPharma, internally. It didn't show any kind of harmful signs, though, so it totally passes the medical qualification in this country."

Seif wasn't fully convinced by the integrity of this medicine, as he was going through the results papers between his hands. Something just smelled fishy about the whole thing.

"I... I also have some distressing news," Markis then said in an ominous tone, getting Seif's attention.

"What is it?"

"The mole that we sent into ToraPharma to gather inside info? I haven't heard from him in a few days, you know? So I checked on him more closely, and... he disappeared."

Seif's eyebrows crocked oddly. "What do you mean he disappeared?"

"He simply vanished. There's no trace of him anywhere. Not in his home or work place. I'm not sure what happened to him; whether he was found out and ran away, or..." Markin bit his lower lips and didn't want to continue that sentence, not that he needed to for Seif to get his point. Without saying a word, Seif pulled out his checkbook and signed a check, giving it to the private eye.

"Thank you. Here's the pay for your services," Seif said as he handed the check to the great dane, whose eyes widened vastly when they laid at the amount of the check. He looked like he was going to have a stroke; he hadn't seen a number that high written on a check in his life.

"Uhh, wow... Th-This is very generous of you, Mr. Lowefang!" Markis mumbled in astonishment.

"I want you to cease this investigation and never speak of it to anyone, understand? You're excused," Seif then ordered him and Markis nodded immediately.

"Yes, yes, of course, whatever you say, Mr. Lowefang! Please, if you need my services again, don't hesitate to call me, any time!" the private eye replied as he anxiously folded the hefty check under his coat pocket and quickly took his leave.

Seif let out a sigh as he sat back on his chair, processing what he just heard in his mind. Khan and his company are definitely up to something, he just felt it in his guts, but he still had no idea what. People are getting injured and killed mysteriously in the city, and somehow he knew they're all connected to ToraPharma. He needed more info and proof, but he didn't want to risk any more innocent lives.

"Damn it, Khan. What are you up to?" Seif said to himself, swirling his chair around so he could face the large glass window viewing the city bellow. He figured that he would end up with nothing trying to thinking it over by himself, so he better share what he knew with Hazard and maybe they can come up with something.

As of now, Seif had another matter to attend to, as he picked up his phone and quick-dialed a saved number.
