It was just after an explosion and the macho, brave lion, covered in scars and blood, jumped over the helpless, ditzy tigress to protect her from the blast. They were both panting heavily and staring into each others' eyes, until both leaned forward into a deep, romantic kiss. This movie was extremely cheesy and overdone. You could see the sweat smudging their make-up and dripping off of their painted on muscles, both signals forbidding me from letting Riley pick out any more action flicks. Although, no matter how bad the movie, it was still a very romantic scene of them kissing with the fire burning in the background.
I sighed, wishing to be able to do that with the sleeping mass beside me; have our romantic scene with explosions (albeit movie explosions) going off behind us. Hmmm... Maybe I could......Leaning up off his shoulder, I slowly turned my body to face him, gently pulling my legs out from under the blanket and throwing them across his lap to straddle him. I moved slowly as to not wake him with my movements, but instead with my warm kiss. Wrapping my arms around his neck, I leaned forward and pressed my muzzle to his, feeling a spark of heat jump through me. I kissed him softly, massaging his lips with my own, shutting my eyes to bask in this simple pleasure. I could hear the sound of the crackling fire from the TV, nearly feeling its warmth and heat. Riley's maw opened slightly and I took that as my signal to move in deeper, snaking my tongue into his mouth and rubbing against his. Lust coursed through my body, making me slightly light-headed and dizzy. I pulled back for air, panting slightly, a smirk on my face. Looks like I could have my movie moment.
Then Riley snored loudly.
The grin dropped immediately as I realized that he never actually was kissing me back; that my plan to wake him up with a warm, sweet kiss was ruined. I guess I really can't blame him, though. It's not like the things we see in movies actually happen in real life. I sighed and shifted around on his lap, climbing off of his legs to lie beside his again. Slightly disappointed, I sat at his side, until something had caught my eye. I hadn't succeeded in waking ALL of Riley up, but one of my favorite parts of him was wide awake.
