Also a 2006 story. When I glanced through it again I noticed it actually has what could be considered breathplay. o.0 It wasn't intended for that purpose though. A story of forbidden love between two pokemon belonging to warring tribes.

Chapter 1: Engagement

"You said what?" yelled Flare.

Flare was a female charmander with reddy orange skin and a paler orange/cream belly. Her bright red eyes sparkled in the light but now they had an angry glint in the. She swung her brightly burning tail from side to side in anger.

"Listen Flare. Charmeleon asked if he could marry you-"

"And you said yes! How could you?"

She began opening and closing her tiny fists, her sharp white claws leaving small dents in her skin.

"It's my decision and I think you're old enough," her father said.

Her father, Blaze, was an old but powerful charizard. Although mostly understanding he had a tendency to make decisions for his children without consulting them.

"Don't worry dear, you haven't even met him."

"Exactly!" she shouted, "I might not even like him!"

"Don't be so melodramatic. He's a nice guy. I'd love to stay, Flare, but I've got to get the scout's reports."

With that he spread his wings and took off, his power obvious as he flew.

"But dad..."

Flare's eyes dropped to the ground and she angrily kicked a stone which hit a large boulder.

Flare didn't have many friends in the colony and apart from her dad she didn't really talk to anyone. The one thing she did enjoy was walking alone in the mountain. So off she set, determined to get rid of her frustrations. Her father had said no one was allowed to go out alone. Flare often disobeyed and was never punished because she was her father's child. The reason no one was allowed out alone was that they were at war with a group of chikorita and their evolved forms. They were fighting because their homes were overcrowded and they had come here and each group wanted control of the mountains. Flare didn't really care about the war, all she wanted was a place to explore alone, so almost daily she left the safety of the colony and headed onto the mountain paths.

Chapter 2: Meeting

As Flare ambled along the mountain path that she'd chosen to use she heard a strange noise. She slowed down and continued cautiously. She recognised it as the sound of a pokemon eating just before she saw the chikorita eating a clump of grass, unaware of her presence.

"Hey! That's our grass you're eating!" shouted Flare as she stepped into view.

She was in a bad mood and could now take it out on the chikorita. The chikorita looked up in surprise, dropping the grass in its mouth.

"I-it's not your grass," he stammered uncertainly, looking for a way to escape.

"Yes it is. Fire pokemon should have this mountain, which includes the grass."

"No one owns the mountain," argued back the chikorita.

"You calling me a liar?" she growled, opening her mouth and letting small flames shoot out a few centimetres.

The chikorita began to sweat as he backed away.

"L-let me g-go," he said, trembling.

Flare let the flames die.

"Why? I should beat you up, take you prisoner or kill you. Why should I let you go?" she asked, her voice calmer now, more curious than angry.

"I didn't do anything I was just eating. Come on, this war isn't my idea."

"I guess not. I don't like the constant fighting, but I can't help it, we're at war."

"You don't have to fight, I don't. I get scared and hide away."

"I can't hide away; I'm the chief's daughter," she then grew angry again, "Wait a minute, why'm I telling you this?"

Her eyes narrowed and she walked up to the trembling chikorita.

"So you're scared?" she asked, blowing out flames close enough to burn him with their heat.

"Uh huh," he nodded.

"You're weird. Why're you telling me everything? What's your name?"

"Lee," he answered proudly.

"Well Lee, I'm Flare and if I ever see you here again I'll totally toast your little leaf, got it?"

Lee nodded and ran off, thankful to have gotten with only some mild burns.

Chapter 3: Blizzard

Lee lay on his bed of vegetation, thinking about Flare.

'Who does she think she is? She's strong, can probably evolve any time. She's also pretty hot! Flip, what am I thinking? But I can't let her boss me around!"

When Lee woke the next day the sky was grey and heavy with clouds.

"The fire pokemon won't attack if there's such a risk of rain."

"You're right. And tomorrow the venusaurs should arrive. Then we'll be able to drive the fire pokemon out."

Lee listened as to other chikorita talked about the war.

"I think it will still take some time. But if it starts to rain hard you could be right."

"Attention!" called a bayleaf, "There is only a small chance that we'll be attacked today so you can do what you want. Just be careful, it's rather cold."

Lee watched as everyone went back to their business.

'Well,' he thought, 'Flare's unlikely to go back to my secret place,' and he set off at a trot.

"You came back!" Flare exclaimed in surprise, "Stupid pokemon."

"Go away!" Lee shouted, surprised Flare was there, "It might rain. Go home."

"Telling me what to do?" asked Flare, jumping off the rock she'd been standing on.

Lee turned to back off but was cut off when Flare used flamethrower to trap him in a horseshoe shaped arc of flames. Lee whirled around, he was trapped and Flare was at the open end.

"Why're you doing this?" asked Lee, "You don't mean it."

"I told you not to come back."

"Why're you in such a bad mood?"

"Flare snarled, "It's none of your business!"

"If I'm about to be fried because of it, I think it is my business."

Flare shot a dart of flame between Lee's forelegs, causing him to jump back.

"My father wants me to marry a charmeleon."

"You don't want to?"

"Take a guess."

Before their conversation went further snowflakes began to fall. As the flakes fell on the flames and Flare's tail to made hissing sound. Lee and Flare looked at the sky as the snowfall increased.

"We need cover," observed Lee, "It's getting cold."

Behind a tree in a nearby depression was a cave that Lee knew and he led Flare there.

"Come on, we'll both fit."

Flare hesitated a moment before following the chikorita into the cave.

Chapter 4: The cave

The cave was dark and the tree blocked the entrance, preventing any light from entering. Flare's tail flame provided a tiny bit of warmth and lit the cave with a warm orange glow. She looked out of the door, rapidly being covered by the snowfall.

"So that's why you tried to hurt me, you're upset about the marriage."

"You're a grass type," replied Flare, not turning around.

"You said you didn't approve of the war."

Flare didn't reply but just sagged.

A few minutes later the whole mouth of the cave was covered. Lee and Flare sat facing each other, already they'd run out of conversation topics. Flare got up and stared at the snow-covered doorway again.

Lee smelled something in the air, it was slight but at the same time strong. He sniffed, drawing in more of the scent. It wasn't the smell of his leaf. He breathed deeply and followed it until he realised it was coming from Flare. She was coming into heat. The smell was making Lee feel happy and he walked over to the female charmander.

Lee walked up behind Flare, carefully avoiding her tail and its burning flame. He reared up and placed a foreleg on her shoulder, he was guided only by the smell. Flare felt Lee's paw and turned her head to look at him, they were nose to nose. Lee opened his mouth a let his tongue stroke Flare's snout. Although shocked at first she quickly realised what was going on and decided this way she could lose her virginity to a mate of her choice, not some charmeleon she'd never met. She returned the lick and led Lee away from the entrance to the cave and sat against a wall. She held her tail off to the side so that she wouldn't hurt Lee and smiled invitingly.

Lee moved closer, Flare's legs were open and the smell was now over-powering. He lowered his nose to her belly and ran it down against her smooth scales until he reached her fresh cunt. His tongue came out and delicately licked Flare's outside lips, causing her to shudder. Lee extended his tongue further and it moved through Flare's lips, her flesh moving easily to the sides. As he licked her, Flare moaned softly and slowly slid off the wall until she was lying flat on her back. Lee brought his tongue out of Flare's hole and ran it on the inside of her leg, before re-inserting it in her cunt, tasting her sweet-smelling juices. He then dragged it over her smooth belly, nuzzled her neck and found himself standing over her, staring into her sparkling red eyes. He gently lowered his body, his hard dick sliding into Flare's warm body. Their heads were close and Lee began to lick her face until she began to as well. Their tongues running over each other's faces again and again.

Flare raised her hind legs and hooked them above his stumpy tail, her forearms griping his shoulders. She pulled him tightly against her and extended her tongue into Lee's mouth. Lee felt the warm organ slide in his mouth to the back of his mouth, almost making him gag. He was about to start thrusting when his thoughts broke through the pheromone-high and he shook her off, slipped out of her and stepped back.

"What?" panted Flare.

"I-I can't. It's against the rules."

"You already broke them," countered Flare, disappointed she'd only gotten this far.

"Maybe..."

Lee lowered his head again and licked Flare's dripping cunt and slid his belly along hers until he entered her once again. She wrapped her limbs around him again, pulling him tightly. Again he had doubts and tried to pull out. Frustrated Flare pulled him tighter, used one arm to hold his mouth closed and blocked his nostrils with her tongue. Lee's eyes widened in fear as she cut off his breathing and he struggled to break her hold. Flare just held him close, enjoying the waves of pleasure she felt as his struggling moved his dick in her cunt. Finally she slid her tongue off his nose. Lee gasped for breath and then, now into the feeling, plunged his tongue into her mouth while still keeping up the struggling motions that had been giving them such pleasure. His tongue rubbed the inside of her mouth and slowly his saliva leaked into Flare's mouth. Rather liking the different taste she moved her tongue over Lee's, pulling it into her mouth. Then during her climax she pulled him so tightly that her claws cut grooves in his shoulders. Pain numbed by orgasm he didn't feel it, merely shooting his grass seed into her tight tunnel. The two pokemon lovers separated then cuddled together to wait out the storm.

Chapter 5: Breaking up

"Meet me again?" Flare asked as she left the cave.

"You bet," replied Lee enthusiastically.

"We've probably been missed," said Flare, gazing up at the clear morning sky.

"You're probably right. Just make sure no one sees us together," Lee said, his voice filled with concern.

"Right," agreed Flare.

As she left she deliberately rubbed against him.

"Bye," she said, grinning.

"Bye," he replied slowly.

"Lee!" Bayleaf shouted angrily, "Where were you yesterday?"

"I was caught in the storm," he said truthfully, "I had find shelter quickly."

"You shouldn't leave when there could be a storm. You might have gotten hurt," he chided, his voice softening.

"I'll be careful," Lee said, turning to leave.

"Wait a minute, what's that?"

"What's what?"

"Those marks."

Lee looked at his back and gulped, the cuts from Flare's claws had made clearly visible scars, three down each shoulder."

"I-I slipped ... and ... I .... fell ... on some sharp rocks."

Bayleaf eyed him suspiciously.

"If you say so," he said, clearly disbelieving the small chikorita standing before him.

Lee smiled nervously and walked away.

When Flare reached home she saw her cousin, Flash, also a charmander, hurrying towards her.

"Where've you been?" he asked in a hissing whisper, "Your father's been going crazy."

"I'm sorry. I had to wait out the storm."

"Yeah, well ... um."

"What is it?" Flare asked impatiently.

"Your ... your fiancé arrived."

"What!"

"He's all upset you weren't here and your father's practically ready to kill you."

"Great! Just what I need!" she shouted as she stormed off.

Flare stepped into her father's cave. Immediately it was obvious no one was happy. Her father was sitting dead-still on a rock while a rather handsome charmeleon waved his tail back and forth irritably, his dark blue eyes glaring at her irritably. She recognised him as Rex, a charmeleon who'd been in her father's small army a while ago. She'd thought he was pretty handsome back then but now he just looked angry.

'I can't marry him,' she thought, 'Not after what I did with Lee. I actually care for him.'

She stopped and her father stood up.

"Flare," he said, his voice cold, "Where've you bee?"

"I was busy," she muttered.

"Don't talk like that! Rex comes to see you and you aren't even here!"

"I-"

"I fathered you, looked after you, raised you and you just walk off! This is one of the most important times in your life!"

"I don't love him!" she shouted as she turned and ran out of the cave.

"Flare!"

"I'll try talk to her," said Rex as he followed Flare.

"Don't let her do anything foolish," sighed Blaze.

Chapter 6: Out of the darkness

Flare stormed away from the fire colony, aware that Rex was following her.

"Stop following me!" Flare shouted after a few minutes.

Rex stepped into view.

"How'd you know I was there?"

"I'm not a normal, pathetic charmander."

"Don't go. Come back."

"Forget it!"

She went off again and once again Rex followed. Careful to stay as far back as possible without losing her.

That night Lee woke up thinking of Flare. He could no longer stay with his kind and fight Flare. He walked up to his best friend, Ivy, and nuzzled her awake.

"What?" she yawned.

"I'm leaving."

"What?" she asked, shocked fully awake.

"I can't stay any longer, tell Bayleaf for me."

"I ... okay," she looked at him sadly, "Goodbye, and good luck."

"Thanks," he replied. Disappearing in the night.

Lee headed to the cave. He was going to wait for Flare.

Flare had slept away from the fire colony until morning. She couldn't see Rex anywhere and headed for the cave.

Lee and Flare met each other outside of the cave.

"Hey," Lee called happily.

"Hi," she replied, her voice conveying the tension she felt.

"Come in," invited Lee, "I know a way to get rid of that stress."

Flare followed him inside. Lee gazed at her lovingly, and she tenderly stroked his leaf. Lee lowered his head and licked between her legs. She murred happily and lowered herself to the floor. Lee pressed his face against her lower regions, licking eagerly. He then moved up to lick her face. Flare pulled him into her and stuck her tongue into his mouth. Lee thrust into the female charmander's wonderful body as she used her tongue to lick the inside of his mouth and drink his saliva.

They were both trembling and sweaty when they left the cave. Flare gave a surprised cry and Lee looked to see a charmeleon gaping at them. It turned around and ran off.

"Go home!" Flare commanded, "He'll kill you if you're alone."

"But-"

"Just go! Rex! Wait!"

Flare then left Lee to run after Rex. Lee watched her vanish then fled back to his home.

Chapter 7: Freedom

"Rex, wait!" pleaded Flare as she ran after him.

He gave no indication that he'd heard her but continued straight on course.

"Blaze!" Rex shouted to Flare's father.

"What? Flare!"

Flare skidded to a halt.

"She's screwing a chikorita!" yelled Rex angrily.

"Nonsense! How dare you!"

"I saw it!"

"Flare?" her father asked, looking at her.

"It's true."

"What! I ... seize her! Lock her up! How could you? My only daughter!"

Two charmeleons sized Flare's unresisting body and carried her into a cave n where she was muzzled and her arms, legs and tail tied to a large rock in a way where she couldn't burn the ropes. From inside she could hear her father talking to Rex.

"It's no use. She has to die. It's the law," he said, utterly depressed.

"I say we starve her," declared Rex coldly.

That night Flare couldn't sleep. She was upset and hungry. She heard a noise and a shape slipped into the cave. As his glowing tail entered Flare recognised the charmander as Flash.

"Mmm," she mumbled through her muzzled mouth.

He opened his mouth and she was engulfed in weak flames that burnt the ropes to ashes.

"Thanks Flash," she said, massaging her mouth.

The ropes had been tied tightly and her body had dark marks where the bonds had held her.

"Go," said Flash, "At leas then you'll be free to live your dreams."

"Flash?"

"Don't worry. You can't help me. Good luck."

"Bye."

"Lee! We're leaving!"

Flare's voice rang out across the grass area, waking many of the pokemon. Lee ran to her and the other pokemon stared or woke those that were sleeping.

"Get her!" someone shouted.

"No!" argued Lee.

"Lee? What's going on?"

Lee turned and saw Bayleaf.

"I love her. We don't want to fight. We're leaving."

"I thought so," smiled Bayleaf.

Lee looked at him questioningly.

"I smelt smoke on you. It doesn't matter though. I'll tell the Venusaurs and Meganiums to leave the mountain. No point in dying over it. Go well."

Flare and Lee left the grass pokemon and started heading away from the mountain.

"I'll miss them," confessed Lee.

"Me too. I'm sorry, father."

"At least we won't have to kill each other.

Flare shook hr head and moved closer to Lee as they walked, her tail held safely to the side. The light burning brightly.

The End
