As I get to school there was something new in the air, my nose picked up the scent of a new person, male to be precise, I looked over and saw he was heading towards my home-group, and when he got inside, I went in too. "Good morning class" our teacher Miss Belling asked. She was a tall creamy brown coloured horse, and had a white coloured mane. We all replied "Good morning Miss Belling" I sat down alone, then the new kid came over and asked "Do you mind if I sit here?" "No, doesn't bother me" I said. "My name's Zach" he put his hand out to me; I shook it and said "I'm Luca, you new here?" "Yes ma'am" I say and lead Zach out to the front and start to tell him about the school, I explain everything I could and he had a smile on his face and he starts to giggle. "What's so funny?" I ask, "What, oh nothing, just something I thought of" was his reply. "Hey Luca, can we be friends?" I thought for a minute and said "Yeah sure, why not" I said smiling. "Luca, can I ask you something?" "Yeah, what is it?" Zach a worried look on his face snd said "Luca, uh... *sigh* I don't know how to say this but, would you still be friends with me if I told you... that I was gay?" I looked at him for a moment, his head was down, ears drooped, he looked as though he was about to cry. "Of course I would, that is who you are, and I would never judge that, never judge a person just by that way they look, don't judge a book by it's cover, don't judge on looks or personalities, don't judge at all!" He looked up at me and said "Thank you, you are a very kind person!" and hugged me, I hugged back. "You're actually the first person to understand, but why? Are you gay too?" I just replied with a simple "Yes".
We both stared at each other, it was almost like Love. "Hey Zach, how long have you been gay for?" "My whole life, why?"
