Chapter 1
Surprise!
? POV
My eyes flicked open at the sound of movement, instantly I pounced. Tackling the pick ball of scales,
"Ember! I'm sorry... I... I thought you were an intruder and..." she cut me off
"So much for the wake-up call," she giggled, "Anyway, rise and shine!" this sent her into an adorable fit of laughter. I blushed when she looked at me; luckily it was invisible thanks to my red scales.
"Lets go now Flame," she yawned, after getting up off the floor. So together we padded towards the fields,
"Hey Spyro!" I yell, he nods then continues chasing the sheep catching two before walking over to us.
"Hungry?" he asks as he starts to roast his pushing the other in our direction. When we finish he touches Ember yelling, "Tag!" before darting away, she attempts to tag me but I dodge her paw and take to the air.
Sparxs POV
I felt my small body hit the ground, I groan and cover my eyes with my hands to block the bright sun shining in my eyes, I felt my brother nudge me over,
"Up you get Sparx," his voice boomed as he spoke right next to me, I jolted up flying holding my ear
"Owww... Spyrooo" I complained.
"Sorry," he whispered "But we need to go catch breakfast for the others we promised..." I looked at him, taken aback
"I didn't," I protested looking at him pleadingly
"Don't whine Sparx," I sigh and fly slowly behind him,
he took to the air with me following soon we came to the open area known as 'The Fields' Spyro charged after the sheep while I shivered and watched.
'Why did I let him drag me into all these types of things?' I thought sighing. I spotted Flame and Ember so I flew over to them hoping for... Well I don't know what I was hoping for. Soon we were joined by Spyro carrying two plump sheep, he started flaming his and shoved the other-one in Flame and Embers direction and the ate together blushing, though you could only tell that Ember was blushing because Flame was... Red.
Embers POV
I dove after the boys paws outstretched ready to catch their scales shortly I cuffed Spyro on the tail and folded my wings to start a dive opening them at the last minute and diving under the cover of the trees. As I duck under the cover of the trees, I begin to land, but my wing clips a tree. That sends me falling towards the ground. I struggle to open my wings and shut my eyes awaiting what was to come next. After a minute of waiting I open my eyes. There grasping at my tail, was Flame. He was reaching for my back talons so I stretched my leg up towards him he quickly grabs my talons and with a mighty down-stroke of his wings, we rose up. As he kept flapping, we rose higher until he was able to gently lay me down on the outer-rim of a cave. He then helped me to my feet; I winced in pain as I tried to lift my wings. I whined as I saw a long gash across my shoulder-blades,
"Hush now, you're okay," Flame draped a wing over me avoiding the gash along with multiple other cuts and bruises. After ten or so minutes we hear a cry of shock and surprise,
"Spyro!" we glace at each other fear in our eyes.
