#3 of The legend of Spyro: Cynder’s love

Its chapter 3!!!

Sorry it took a little longer than I would have wanted but here it is!

The Prophecy

Spyro was the first one to wake. He yawned widely and sat up, looked around the cave. He started to feel warm breaths on his paw; he looked down at the sleeping dragoness and smiled.

"Ignitus is going to kill me..." he said, but without any regret in his voice.

She was so beautiful; he put a paw out and stroked her from neck to tail. She let out a soft groan and smiled in her sleep.

Not wanting to wake her up Spyro decided to take a walk around outside the cave.

He walked out, and used a wing to block the bright morning sun from his eyes. Then he took off gliding just above the trees.

He always loved to stretch his wings early in the morning. He flew around a bit, finally he went over to the river and dived straight in. swimming around a little and taking a drink, the water was quite refreshing. Finally he broke the surface only to dive back down.

Cynder began to wake ever so slowly. But as she did she soon felt a small pressure at her tail-base, it wasn't painful in the least but it was a strange felling but with ease she flexed her muscles and with a little pop the pressure was gone. A bit confused she dismissed it and rolled to one side expecting to fall right into Spyro's loving grasp... But she felt nothing. Worried, but she still didn't open her eyes.

"Spyro..."

When she didn't get an answer she shot her eyes open and looked around desperately, where did her purple dragon go?!? Did something happen to him?!?

She got up and ran outside the cave.

Meanwhile, Spyro was enjoying himself, as he just floated there in the middle of the river. Using his tail to propel himself around the water he swam around a bit more and finally made for the shore to get out. He stepped onto the edge of the river and shook off the excess water and wipe if from his eyes. But just as he opened them he was tackled by a fast black and red blur.

They were both thrown back into the water.

Underwater, he was pinned at the rivers bottom he started to struggle, but his captor soon pushed their tongue into his mouth. It was then he realized who it was... only one dragon had such a sweet taste.

She finally released him from her grasp and they floated back to the surface. Spyro was there first and took deep breaths. He turned only to be met with Cynder's beautiful face.

"Good morning"

She simply smiled, they both paddled over to the river's edge.

Cynder got out first.

But now it was Spyro's turn. He jumped onto her. Pinning her to the ground and gave her a tender kiss. Cynder just moaned into the kiss as she was pushed into the ground. She ran her soft wet tongue along the side of Spyro's face. Spyro began to moan as well. Cynder soon felt something soft and ticklish poke at her stomach and legs from Spyro's rock hard dragonhood no doubt.

The two horny dragons just laid there enjoying the other's embrace. The silence was finally broken by a loud groan emitting from both their stomachs. Spyro and Cynder blushed a bit before the two got up.

"Common let's see if we can get something to eat" Spyro said cheerfully

"Sounds good" Cynder replied in the same cheery tone.

But as they both walked down the trail, Spyro hung his head with a worried expression on his face and in deep thought.

Cynder looked over at him and noticed it.

"Spyro, what's wrong."

He snapped out of it and looked back at her. Only to fall into another trance as he saw her, the sun was shining down on her perfectly as the light reflected off of every beautiful midnight-black scale on her gorgeous body. But he soon managed to return to reality again and sighed.

"I was just thinking about what Sparx and the elders are going to think about... you know... us."

She kissed him and said reassuringly

"Don't worry I'll be right there with you, after all I'm just as much to blame as you are."

He smiled again, he was so happy when he was with her. As her lips push agents his own, to the point that Spyro was almost thrown into a mating frenzy for the second time that day.

***

"I'm really worried about those two..." Volteer finally said

"I say we go out and look for them" Terrridor agreed

"All of you please!" Ignitus shouted. "After breakfast, I will go out and look for them personally. But until then don't worry about it. We all know that Spyro and Cynder can take care of themselves."

But in the back of his head he knew what had already happened the night before...

***

The two dragons returned to the cave, their wings cupped to their bodies to create somewhat of a bowl, in it they carried some berries, mushrooms and a few small birds that they hunted down and cooked.

Spyro and Cynder sat down near the entrance of the cave as they ate. From time to time looking lovingly into the other's eyes. Finally Spyro spoke.

"Cynder we're going to have to go back to the temple soon, the others are probably worried sick about us."

Cynder just hung her head a bit and nodded

"Your right Spyro. Let's go after we eat."

Just as they finished eating they heard the sound of loud wings flapping in the distance. They both looked up and could just see the outline of a big orangish-red dragon... it was Ignitus. He flew about seventy or so yards away as he passed them from the side.

"He's probably looking for us, huh."

Cynder nodded as she finished eating.

Once they both finished they finally walked outside the cave and took off towards the temple.

Meanwhile Sparx was on the balcony of the temple wondering where they had been for the passed two days, when he finally saw two small specs come into view.

"Hey I think I see them!"

The elders all walked out to greet the two young dragons.

But as the temple came into view, they glided ever closer to one another. Bracing themselves for the barrage of questions that would come when they got there. And of course as soon as they landed. The first thing out of Sparx mouth was

"So where have you two been all this time?"

"Uhhhh... well... "

Both Spyro and Cynder stumbled for words until Ignitus came to their rescue.

"Come on in and you can tell us the whole story."

But just as they all walked in Ignitus said very sternly

"Could you all wait outside I'd like to talk to Spyro and Cynder for a second."

The other elders all shrugged and walked out the big door and out of the main room.

"That means you too Sparx" he said as he noticed Sparx tagging behind trying to get a bit of info before the door shut behind him.

But once the others left, Ignitus sat back on his haunches, and looked Spyro and Cynder dead in the eyes.

"Now tell me what happed."

Spyro gave a reluctant sigh and looked over at Cynder who gestured to him that it was alright to tell him everything.

So the three sat there for over an hour as Spyro and Cynder told him about how Spyro saved her, how they confessed that they were both in love and even (very reluctantly) about last night's affair

When they finished Ignitus let out a loud sigh.

"We all knew this day would come... but why so soon?... why so young?"

They both looked at ignites, confused.

"What day Ignitus, why are we so important?"

"Its time you both know the truth..."

Both Spyro and Cynder listened intently.

He began.

"As you know the prophecy spoke of a purple dragon destined to put a stamp on this age and defeat the dark master. But the prophecy also foretold of a dragoness that would reveal herself not long after. One every bit as powerful. And together they would stop the dark army's rampage across the realms... but after the night of the raid.... we all thought that you died Spyro, along with the legendary dragoness and all the other eggs. And of course Cynder was taken by the dark army as an egg and corrupted by the dark master's, poisonous powers. So we were sure that all was lost...

But when I found out that you survived Spyro, we believed that at least that part of the prophecy would come true... But when you broke Cynder from the dark master's control, we started to think that perhaps she was the legendary dragoness that the prophecy also spoke of........

He closed his eyes and gave a deep berth.

Both Spyro and Cynder urged him to continue...

"But now that you've told me that you're both in LOVE... well it is a bit to take in."

Spyro looked back at Ignitus.

"Why..."

"Because Spyro, the prophecy only said that the dragoness and the purple dragon would just fight together it said nothing of the two falling in love."

Spyro was stunned, his eyes widened and he stayed like that until he felt Cynder's face gently nuzzle him. And he nuzzled back.

Ignitus just gave a reassuring smiled.

"But now you two are in love and nothing can change that. I know that I would never stand in your way, and I'm glad. You both deserve it... especially you, Cynder. You deserve to be happy after all that you've had to go thought.

Cynder unleashed a smile that could tear Thought Mountains.

"Thank you, Ignitus...you don't know how much that means to me..."

But as she did Ignitus looked down on them both and gave a serious look.

"But as for last night..."

Both Cynder and Spyro's faces turned the exact same shade of red.

As they looked at the ground.

But both felt their heads being lifted by one of

Ignitus's massive claws. As he looked into their eyes.

"Don't be ashamed or embarrassed you two, it's just another part of love. Don't let anyone tell you different... but Cynder... did you happen to feel a pressure when you woke up today?"

Cynder looked back at Ignitus

"Yes... why?"

"And I imagine that you managed to make it go away without any trouble?"

She continued to stare at him.

"Yes"

"What that pressure was in your mid-section Cynder, was an egg starting..."

Cynder's eye literally blew up as they widened.

Ignitus continued...

"And when you stopped that pressure it ended the process"

Cynder still looked unbelievingly

"So you saying I can control it????"

"Yes... you can."

He soon changed the subject.

"I should go check in on the others"

He made for the door but turned his head.

"Oh and Spyro..."

"Yes..."

"There's no need to tell Sparx and the other guardians about any of this, is there?"

And with that he left the room.

The two just smiled at one another and walked out to the balcony. Where they sat and watched the sunset together.

But although they didn't know, there was a dark cloud that loomed over the horizon, one that would challenge them both soon enough...

To be continued....
