My Little Pony

Friendship is Magic

A regular day

New weird shit I'm doing here and its only because I fell in love with My little pony the first five episodes and now I'm finally caught up to current. I immediately wanted to right a fanfic, especially on something that caught my eyes that lied within the show. It might not start out well since this is the first time I did the series and it only took me a single day and night to watch all the episodes till present.

This is fanfic so no current date or episode this will be based off of.

My Little Pony

Friendship is Magic

A regular day

The peaceful and beautiful town of ponyville lied in the heart of the world, known as Equestria. The ponies of ponyville were varied between three unique horses. The earth ponies, the unicorns and the Pegasus.

The earth ponies remained on the ground and most of them did the farming or shops.

The unicorns were a little more special, having magic to help them with their daily needs.

Last were the pegasus, which had wings and usually, most helped control the weather around Equestria .

'The three unique species all lived in simple harmony with one another, helping and making their world a better place. Though the main part of ponyville has horses for it's inhabit... inhabile... inha...'

'Inhabitants?'

'Right, Right.... I think? Anyways, though the main part of ponyville has horses for its in-habitants... some other creatures lived amongst. Others included like fluffy white rabbits, dogs, cats... mice... snakes...

'Please don't mention that. You know how I am with them.'

'Sorry, yeah and the most awesomest, most greatly and most coolest creature of all!!!!!!!!!! Is me!'

A dramatic sigh left Twilight Sparkle as she looked at Spike write that down on a scroll with a single arm in the air, praising himself. The purple baby dragon was sitting there with his eyes closed and a big grin on his mouth.

Twilight was laughing at his posture and the way he made himself sound so magnificent.

"Oh Spike," she said with a big smile. "What on all of Equestria make you think that you... are the coolest creature of all?"

Spike's eyes shot open and he stood up from his sitting spot.

They were both in Twilight's home and while Twilight had been studding, Spike had begun writing down what he knew so far in the time he and Twilight had learned for the past couple of months they have been here for.

Moving over here a few months back, the town had had so many adventures and made great many friends, five of which are her best friends.

"Well," Spike said a bit smugly. "I am a dragon!" He said it as if it was the most magnificent thing ever, closing his eyes and smiling brightly.

Twinkle chuckled.

"Yeah but you are a baby dragon!"

Spike's eyes shot open.

"So! I'm still a dragon!"

Twilight nodded with her smile.

"Yes but you are a baby dragon and my number one assistant. But most of all, your my best friend and your also my baby dragon!"

"Aw shucks Twilight," Spike said bashfully. "You know how you make me embarrassed when you say things like that."

Twilight giggled her beautiful laugh and brought her little purple dragon for a hug with her front leg.

"I know but I love it when you do that." She smiled and separated before looking around. "Oh! We need to meet up Rarity at the spa."

"Great!" Spike said ever so happily. He walked away to get ready. Twilight only smiled, for she knew that Spike hated the spa since it was girly for him but when it had to do with Rarity, he jumped at the first moment. He had a not-so-secret-crush on her. He had one since the day he saw for the first time here in ponyville.

Though mostly everyone knew that, especially since Rarity was aware of his crush, he still thought that no one really knew. He told Twilight and Pinkie Pie about it but obvious they knew before he did.

They left Twilight's home with Spike sitting on top of her. They walked the little streets of ponyville, outside of the warm sunny day. All ponies were out and about, doing their daily thing. Everypony was either at a store, working at one or just walking around the town and hanging out.

Twilight and Spike headed to the spa house where they were to meet Rarity.

At the door, they opened and already saw the white unicorn reading herself to go inside. The large spa that stood above the ground was sizziling with bubbles and someponies stood by with lotions and anything else the two might need.

The mare saw them and welcomed them.

"Ah, Twilight!" she said with a smile. "Glad you can make it."

"Hey Rarity. Of course we would come. I need a nice relax after all the time in the library."

"Mhmm, you do need to let yourself out of that dusty old place. Could be contaminated with dust."

The white mare walked into the spa and sighed deeply as she slid in.

"Ahh, this is most joyful. I could already feel the water washing away these filthy hooves of mine. Come join in before you get anything else on you."

Twilight quickly walked up the little steps and quickly slid in. the temperature of the water caught Twilight off surprised but nevertheless, enjoyed the warmth.

"Cannonball!" Spike yelled as he ran up the stairs and jumped.

Rarity screamed, but Twilight quickly used her horn and caught Spike in midair.

"Spike!" she said a bit angrily, as she levitated him close to her. "This is not a pool and we don't want to make the ponies here clean up after you."

"Aww," Spike whined. "Your no fun."

With a smirk, Twilight let him fall with a yelp. Rarity shook her head and laid her head back and closed her eyes.

"So... soothing." She said somewhat dozily. Twilight too laid her head back and enjoyed the warmth. Spike just swam around, occasionally looking under the water at both of the ponies.

Spike having the young curiosity looked and peeked at the females, having the urge to look underneath the water and stare at the legs.

However, since it was a spa and it had soap, it got in his eyes and he groaned as he rubbed his eyes. After awhile, he got bored and just sat by Twilight and closed his eyes.

About an hour later, both ponies came out with their coats shinning and Rarity, glooming in delight. The spa pony twins were happy with Rarity's usual visits and are often tipped a large some from her, if they do well, which they always do.

"Ah, Marvelous! How beautiful and bashful, my mane feels wonderful!" Rarity spoke loudly. Her mane had indeed got a brighter gleam. The ponies that worked there had added natural ingredients that do help improve horse mane quality.

"I'll say," Spike said, somewhat having his eyes glued on to her mane. His heart was fluttering and his eyes remained unfocused on anything else but her.

Twilight rolled her eyes at both Spike and Rarity. Rarity was just teasing the poor dragon and it was a pain to try to get Spike from getting all lovey dovy and all.

"Well," said Twilight, trying to break the moment. "Fluttershy said she needs help with a few animals that are sick. Do you wish to join, Rarity?"

Rarity gave a small shake of her head, still with her eyes closed.

"Sorry my darling Twilight, but I must go back to the shop and make a few choice dresses required by royalists in Canterlot. They must... be done by tonight. And my sister, Sweetie Belle, asked me to re-stitch her crusaders' outfit."

"Well, okay then. I'll see you later then!"

"Will do, dear!"

The two separated, going opposite directions. Spike still had his eyes clued onto Rarity. Twilight carried him on her back, somewhat smiling along the way. Sooner or later, the little dragon will end up biting off more than he could chew.

Twilight and Spike walked the way to Fluttershy's home in the small plains. Spike rode Twilight, somewhat enjoying the view, but missing Rarity's, and gazed at the fields of animals that frolicked in their views.

"Such a peaceful day, huh spike?" asked Twilight, almost reaching Fluttershy's home.

"You bet twilight! So peaceful and calm out here."

At Fluttershy's door, Twilight knocks with her hoof. A quiet 'eep' was heard.

"Wh...Who is it?" asked a quiet yet shaky voice.

"It's me, Twilight and Spike. We came to help you."

"Oh!... coming." There was a sound of shuffling then other noises. Twilight looked at Spike, who just shrugged.

After a few seconds, the scrambling stopped and Fluttershy peeked through the door.

"Oh... sorry about that- I was just surprised that you were coming so soon." She said in her soft, hushed voice. She was somewhat panting heavily and she was only showing her head through the door.

Twilight thought of it odd for Fluttershy to be hiding like that or panting heavily but then again... it was Fluttershy. She slowly opened the door and let them in.

The whole time spent with Fluttershy, Twilight and Spike helped care some for the needed animals. Angel, Fluttershy's pet, wasn't amongst one of them but she was lazy at helping them out.

Three sick cats, one injured blue jay and a scratched snake where all being taken care of. Though Twilight stayed away from the snake, she did help the sick cats. Spike had no problem with the snake and Fluttershy sang to the blue jay as she tended its wing.

The three of them only talked about their days so far, Fluttershy mostly spoke to the animals rather than Twilight or Spike.

After about an hour, the five animals were bandaged up or resting.

"Thank you so much for your help you two. All the animals will feel a lot better now."

"Sure, Fluttershy. We know how much it means for you to take care of the animals. Do you need anything else?"

Fluttershy shook her head.

"Hope, I will send the rest home. Thank you so much for your help. I would have taken care of it myself but... I had... other things to attended to."

"Is that why you were panting?" Spike asked with a cocked eyebrow.

She gave a small nod.

"Yes... sorry about that. One of the cats were missing... and I panicked when I couldn't find her."

"Oh, well that is fine. Anyways, Spike and I are going to Canterlot to pick up a new piece of technology. I heard it's called a 'television.' You wanna come?"

Fluttershy shook her head.

"I'm sorry but I have to let the animals rest before I set them back into the while. Can I come over... I mean if you let me... to see the tele..."

"Television?" chimed Twilight.

Fluttershy nodded shyly.

"Sure, though it may be awhile since I have to pick it up in Canterlot." She shook her head. "With the new things anypony comes up with. Anyways, we'll see you later, Fluttershy."

"Okay... stay save and thank you again for your help!"

"Anytime." Spike quickly mounted Twilight and they both walked on the trail to Town Square.

Fluttershy closed her door and sighed. She then turned around only to 'eep!' as she that the snake, with a small bandage over its back was on the floor looking at her.

"Oh... you scared me! I thought I put you to bed."

The snake hissed.

"Oh... wait, what?" she asked, somewhat not comprehending what the snake said.

Another hiss but a bit louder, nothing of a threat but more as if speaking to Fluttershy.

Fluttershy's eyes suddenly went a bit wide but small shy smile came up to her.

"What do you mean 'show appreciation'? You don't need to do that. I mean you can but I don't wish for anything in return."

The snake approached closer to the mare, giving a soft hiss.

Shakily, Fluttershy couldn't help but lower her head, a deep red blush approaching her cheeks.

"We-well... o-okay.... I mean.... If yo-you want to. But... wh-what do you want me to do..?"

Rainbow Dash, the fastest flyer in all of ponyville, the most coolest of the ponies of ponyville and the only pony ever to do a Sonic Rainboom, was currently sleeping lazily on top of a cloud.

Her cloud was in a remote area of the plains were nopony can bother her. Well almost nopony. Only one pony could reach her, in mysterious ways. Yet Rainbow Dash didn't have to worry about her right now since she didn't tell her, where she would be.

She was somewhat calm about that but then again, she often finds her. As often as an apple that falls from a tree.

She had almost tripled check to make sure that she didn't find her. She was at peace.

"Ohhhhhhhhh, Dashieeeee? Where are youuuuuuuuuuu?" said a loud, cheerful voice.

At that, Dash's eyes show open and the rainbow mare did a backflip over her cloud and blasted off. She flew as fast as her wings would go, which was pretty fast. In less than a second, she had reached the mountain top. She stood at the very top, hoping that she had lost her.

She was hiding behind the mountain, only slowly peaking up to see if she was followed. As soon as she looked to the coast was clear, a pink face with a giant smile had jumped in front of her.

"Dashie!"

Dash shrieked and took off once more. Her trail leaving behind a colorful rainbow as she flew near Rainboom speeds. She was now on top of Town Square's main building, the mayor's office.

She panted heavily as she peeked behind the buildings tower. She didn't see any signs of her. She let out a sigh of relieve.

"Phew, that was close," she said to herself, thinking that she got away. "I'm sure I lost her this time."

"Yeah, I bet she would never find us here," said another voice. Dash' quickly turned to find her there, right next to her, with a big smile. "Wait, who we hiding from?"

"Agg!" Rainbow Dash screamed and jumped off before flying off. Now she flew off north, towards Canterlot, knowing that she may not be able to get close but she could get far.

However, just as she was almost there, a face suddenly jumped in front of her, screaming 'Dashie!' This caused Rainbow dash to suddenly swerve and crash into a nearby tree, with a large 'umph!'

She fell off the three and landed face first to the ground with her rump sticking up.

She sighed, heavily and in defeat, waving her arm in defeat.

"Okay Pinkie, you win." Her voice was somewhat muffled as it was covered by the ground.

"Yay! Yay! I win!"

The pink pony pounced over to the fallen mare. She smiled brightly before slowly lifting her up with a big smile. She saw that Dash had a small bruise on her cheek but had a goofy grin on her.

"Hey, pinkie." She said, smiling at her.

Pinkie laughed as she looked at her before letting the mare stand on her own.

"So what do I win?! What do I win?! What do I win?!" she said quickly in a single high voice.

Rainbow Dash chuckled.

"Well for one, thing you didn't win fully, since I gave up."

"But that is the same thing for me to win!" she sang somewhat.

Dash sighed, for what seemed like the twentieth time today.

"Fine, for your prize is... you get a kiss." She pulled pinkie into a gentle kiss on her lips, causing the pink mare to squeal in delight and lean in deeply into the kiss. With a long, thirty second kiss, Dash let go and Pinkie giggled.

"That was the best prize ever!" she laughed in all her cuteness.

Dash laughed too. "Yeah it is. It is not often you can get close to catching, the coolest and fastest pony! In all of Equestria!"

"Nope!" said Pinkie Pie said with a bright smile. "But it does give you a big boost knowing that prizes like that await when you do get close to catching her, or making her crash into a tree."

Dash laughed, somewhat rubbing the small bruise on her cheek.

"Yeah or the fact that she loves her beautiful pink little pony of joy and laughter." "Yepy, yep yep!" Pinky agreed as she playfully pounced around her lover mare. "So what's my next prize?! What is my next prize?! Huh!? Huh?! HUH?!"

Dash laughed and brought her close, not giving her another kiss but close to one. "I'll give you the prize..." she leaned in close to her ear. "Later.... At your place." She grinned at the last part.

Pinkie laughed, somewhat loudly. She separated and began pouncing all over her.

"Yay! Yay! Yay! I wonder what it could be? OOOH! I wonder if it's a sweet treat or maybe it's a surprise party? Oooh I should do a party for catching up to you!"

She pounced happily all around and Dash just grinned at that. They made their way back to ponyville.

Thought Pinkie made a comment that put Dash on edge. "Can we add hot sauce to it?"

Applejack had kicked the last of the apples of the last tree on the final row. It was hard work but for her, it sure did beat lazing around, much like Rainbow Dash.

The tan mare loaded the last apples on to the barrels. She attached the barrels on each side of her and headed back to the farmhouse.

Big Mac was finishing the last of planting the seeds on the ground for a new batch of apples. He saw his sister coming with her big barrel of apples. She dropped them off in front and sighed.

"Well," she said, somewhat satisfied with herself. "that was the last of the apples."

"Yep," said her bigger brother.

"Sure beats laizin' aroun' and all."

"Yep,"

She sighed and saw the sun was only in the middle, indicating noon. "Wow, it's still early. Everything is mostly dun' and we don't need anything right now for home?"

"Nope," said her brother. He sat on his haunches and watched the trees.

"Well, Im'a headin' into town and see my friends. See you later Mac!" The pony ran off, leaving behind her brother. Mac nodded and turned around.

The tan mare was hoping to tag with her friends, hopefully they got something fun to do today. They haven't had a good fun filled adventure for a while.

First was to see where anypony was. She knew that Rarity was busy since Scootaloo and her Cutie Mark Crusaders asked if she could fix their outfit. Rainbow Dash was nowhere in the skies with the other pegasus. Fluttershy was off helping her animal friends, as usual and Pinkie Pie.

Well she hasn't seen Pinkie Pie at all today. That was sure odd. Pinkie would pop out of random places to just to meet anypony.

Once she was at the town, she first went to see if Twilight was home. Bookworm was probably studying her little horn off.

When she reached the library, she saw a sign.

'Be back in ten minutes?' Applejack said to nopony in particular. "Where the hay did they all go to?"

Almost as if reading her mind, Twilight had teleported with Spike who was caring a giant box.

Applejack was surprised by their sudden enter.

"Twilight! You gone and scarred me!"

"Sorry, Applejack," Twilight said. "We needed to get fast."

"Yeah," said Spike, somewhat giving in under the weight of the box. His knees were shaking and he was losing grip. "Can we please hurry? I don't think I can hold it much longer."

Twilight look at the crumbling dragon.

"Sorry Spike let me help." She used her horn to levitate, helping ease the poor dragon. Spike sighed with relief and quickly opened the door. The two walked in and Spike removed the sign.

Twilight slowly set the Television down on the floor.

Applejack circled the box.

"What in all of Equestria is that thing?"

Twilight smiled.

"It's called a television. A lot of places have it. Well mostly cities and all."

Applejack looked at the box that had a giant flat screen.

"I've seen these things before! When I went to travel to Manehattan to visit my uncle and aunt Orange, they had a these... tele...vision whatchacallit... Nearly in every room of their home! Those things hurt my eyes after awhile. Why you need on' for?"

Twilight used her horn to slowly open the box.

"Well for one thing, is to keep Spike entertained, so he isn't mischief when I'm not around."

"I heard that!" Spike said from upstairs.

Twilight chuckled and continued to open it.

"I also want to see what other things I can learn from, from other places." She then brought the large flat screen out of the box.

"Well, okay sugarcube. I may not know much about these high tech gizmos and what not but it seems to be a cool little thing."

"Yeah," agreed Twilight. "Hopefully it will help out a lot with my studies."

With the television set up in the living room or by the walls by the library and a cable to hook up to get channels, Twilight sparkle now carried one of the few new technologies here in Ponyville. The day was almost done and yet... it seemed as if something was missing. There friends!

Meanwhile, in Fluttershy's home, a soft sounding moan was echoing in her house.
