Experiment 42187-chapter 2...
Elise's skin had turned black (and by black I mean black like coal, not brown like the race name incorrectly states, I'm not racist, I jut thought this would clear things up) her hair was a deep green color and her eyes had turned the color of amethyst.
"How are you feeling, considering the changes you went through?" Elise asked.
"I'm feeling fine, although I am shocked at what has happened, man did you see my face when I woke up?"
"Actually we got it on tape for a laugh, it was priceless. Lets head downstairs, I'm sure everyone else is wondering what happened to you, and your probably hungry, you have been out for a week."
"A WEEK! Why didn't you guys take me to the hospital? I could have been dead."
"As soon as you fainted a wanted message was sent out on the television and radio, fortunately they don't know we have changed yet. The order was sent out by the FBI so we know it's nationwide. We are accused of starting the radiation leak."
"WHAT! We were the ones who saved thousands of people from radiation poisoning."
"I know that and so does everyone at the Bio-Chem. They are doing what they can to help us, although most have gone underground to do so. Rick has already got his hands on enough guns to supply a small army. He owns a small office building under a fake name that will become our home for the next little while. Some of the guards have decided to help us train in hand-to-hand combat, while others who are specialized in weaponry, so they will help us with all of the guns in the armory. Even the government sympathizers have joined us. Mainly because we are both wanted for half-a million bucks live or dead, the government says they want to help us, but what they really want is to experiment on us to find out what happened."
"Wow, that's a lot of cash. You guys must have been real busy preparing that place."
"Yeah we were and we all are heading there later today. Oh and cipher your code name is Black when we are talking over the phone, it is a security measure."
"Okay, Black, got it, is my car still here?" I asked because my car was one of my prize possessions, it was a black Daytona Spyder, with a Bose top-of-the-market sound system with a bazooka tube subwoofer. I also had packed underneath the folded canopy a 5 gallon nitrous tank. I had to get that in two parts, a scuba tank and a regular nitrous tank for a good valve. I rigged up a button in the shifter so no one would try to find the tank, and just in case, a full small tank is strapped under the dash. I put in custom cloth seats for comfort. With Ferrari-style remote open doors and most of the metal on the outside chrome plated, my car was truly a sight to behold. And to prevent theft I had full bullet proof armor plating, as well as bullet proof glass in each window. I kept spare armor plates in my garage so if anything happened I would be safe.
"Yes your car is still here, but everything from your garage is at the base, including your Nos fill station. We also grabbed the stuff from the cabinet behind the sliding shelf, what was that stuff anyhow?"
"Where are those jars now, and how can I contact whoever is in charge of them, if any of those jars is opened the contents will explode with a blast radius of at least 100 meters! It's a new type of primary high explosive; it is activated by nitrogen so I put them in those glass jars to keep air out." Elise just stood there, speechless, for a second before she jumped into action.
"Dave I need to use the phone now, where is it, it is an emergency. The white stuff in those baby-food jars you found could blow up five blocks of office buildings if they went off!" Dave (the policeman) immediately ran and grabbed the phone and gave it to Elise.
"This is Onyx, where is Black's stuff right now" Elise said to the person on the other end of the line, after putting them on speakerphone. "I just got some information from Black that the jars contain a nitrogen activated primary high explosive, we need them found, if they all go off they can destroy at least five blocks of office buildings."
"This Krystal, those jars contain are really high explosive?" said the voice on the other end of the line.
"This is Black; send the truck to a remote location, at least a half mile from the city, and tell the driver to leave his truck and use any form of transportation to get back to base, send me the truck's current location, and link into my cell phone so we can use it as a 2 way radio." I said calmly to Krystal.
"Roger that Black, Krystal out." As she said that my cell phone rang. When I answered my heart stopped cold.
"Hello Mr. Razgriz, please come out with your hands up, we know you are in Officer Dave Hendrickson's house." Then he hung up.
"Elise, Dave, we have to get out of here we are most likely surrounded by government agents, we'll take my car, grab any weapons you have please." I said urgently.
"ok, all our guns are already in the car, lets go." Elise said. We ran into the garage and jumped into my car.
Dave hit the button to open the garage door and I started the engine. The second the door was high enough, we roared out of the garage and into the street. Almost instantly there were bullets flying, but my car didn't take a hit thanks to the nitrous. As we were about to turn at the end of the street I saw four police cars zooming towards us from both sides so I drove straight into the alley across the street. Right as we shot from the other side of the alley I turned on Through the Fire and the Flames by Dragonforce and shut off the nitrous. As we were driving my car's phone rang. It was Krystal.
"Black are you alright, one of our men saw you blast out of the alleyway by Dave's house, oh and the package is on top of the old Bio-Chem. parking tower."
"I'm fine, just some cops, I'm on my way to pick up the package, Black out." I said as I shifted into fifth gear and floored the accelerator. I soon was barreling down the freeway at 187mph. then I heard sirens coming up from behind me, it was the cops. I decided to have fun and turned on the nitrous. I quickly lost the cops and was driving up the access ramp to the parking lot.
When I found the truck I was glad to find that the driver was gone and I quickly found the jars and started putting them in specially designed holders in my car. When that was done I instructed Dave to drive the truck to the new base and that I'd lead the police away.
As I shot from the entrance I immediately passed some black cars that immediately gave chase. I drove onto a deserted highway and saw a massive roadblock made of those black cars ahead. I lowered the Kevlar convertible top and threw a jar of explosive out the front. With my enhanced abilities the jar smashed on the lead car and exploded fifty feet from my speeding car. The roadblock was cleared spectacularly with cars flying through the air and landing a good 10 meters away. I shot through the roadblock and drove on to the base.
"Hey Cipher I haven't told the rest of the old Bio-Chem. Staff what has happened to us yet, do you think they will be surprised?" Elise said as we pulled up to the garage in the office building.
"Heh, they probably will be, hope the door guards don't scream." I said as I dialed Krystal's number.
"United delivery how may we help you?" I heard Krystal say on the other end.
"Evening Krystal, its Black, can you let us in" I asked.
"Sure thing, one moment please," Krystal said as the garage door opened. As I drove in I noticed at least 15 auto turrets following our movements.
"Hey Krystal, do you mind shutting off those auto turrets, they tend to make me nervous. Also meet us at the entrance to the building."
"Sure thing Black, why so personal?"
"You'll see..."
