Bioroid Gren Drake, 2011

Angel swiped her card at the door and entered her small apartment with a sigh; It was amazing what people would try when tax time was coming and somehow it always seemed to be her that dealt it. The air in her apartment was quiet and still, disturbed only by her entry as she tossed her light jacket at the aluminium coat stand near the door, followed by her shoes, before going to her bedroom, not bothering to turn on the lights. It wasn't like it was very far.

She did turn on the light when she stepped into the bedroom; the place was small enough she didn't dare let it get even slightly messy or she'd never be able to find anything again. That said, she didn't wait to pull off her shirt.

It was quite a surprise to discover that her bedroom was already occupied. The occupant was neither small nor human. The mid-grey fur, the pointed snout, and the thick tail all served to identify it as a bioroid, a biological construct from the Genar Corporation. They'd been created to do many jobs, and especially to be both obedient and loyal. There was a group on Charred Rock pushing to grant them citizenship, and quite a sizable one, but she had never really thought about it, nor cared. Slaves, genetic or otherwise, simply had no place in her life.

None of which helped with the puzzle of what he was doing in her home, on her bed. He was stretched out facing her as he watched her with unnerving attention.

"Er?" she asked. Not her most articulate comment, but bioroids were seven feet of solid muscle. If he was here for some nefarious purpose there wasn't much she could do about it.

"Hello," His voice was surprisingly friendly for an intruder. "I am XJ-471. You would be Angel Cunningham?" His jaw and tongue moved as he spoke, but his lips did not and she had to wonder how he managed such clear enunciation.

"Yes?" She wasn't sure she should be admitting to her identity yet, but she'd be damned if she'd deny it in her own home. Besides, she lived in a single occupancy unit; who else could she be? The flaw in that question was that someone who wasn't her was already present.

"It is good to meet you. I am your new bioroid." He did not look thrilled about this, but perhaps she was just misreading his inhuman features.

"My new what?"

"Bioroid. A bioroid is a synthetic genetic construct-"

"Yes," she interrupted. "I know what a bioroid is. How'd you get in?"

"I have placed your Courier Access Card on your dresser." He gestured loosely with one hand; she noticed he only had three fingers on it. She'd never noticed that on a bioroid before, but she had never had a reason to look.

She glanced at her dresser; sure enough, a Courier Access Card was there. Opening the top drawer she pushed the underwear aside; both the Courier Access Cards she'd been issued where still present. The ID number on one was the same as the one on top of her dresser. Someone had not only bought her a bioroid--not cheap--but had duplicated one of her Courier Access Cards.

"Who was the buyer?" She wasn't entirely comfortable with the idea of human shaped things having purchasers or owners, but had always been willing to leave well enough alone. It was, she suspected, the reason proper androids had been only a fad.

"I was bought as a gift by one Janet Cunningham."

She couldn't help but whistle; her sister, who she hadn't seen in nearly a decade, had decided to make contact like this? That her sister had clearly done well for herself was obvious and Angel made a mental note to dig up her system ID so she could ask her sister what was going on in that larcenous head of hers. Then she made a second mental note to have her apartment swept for bugs when she got the chance; the extra work this time of year could pay for it.

"Um, good," she said. "I am, I'm afraid, going to need the bed and I don't share well." That wasn't entirely true; she wanted someone to share it with, but she wanted someone human and male, though she was willing to stretch that last point. Not someone who was nearly two feet taller than her and not even a legal person!

"I will rest in the living room," he said, standing. His head didn't quite brush the ceiling, but it was close. But then the bioroids had been designed after humans had arrived at Charred Rock and built everything with seven foot ceilings with only a few exceptions, so that wasn't too much of a surprise. "Where should I place my things?"

She shook her head. "I'll decide in the morning; right now I'm too tired to deal with this."

"Of course," he said. He picked up a satchel from where it'd been hidden beside the bed before squeezing out of the room. Watching him made her realize that he was entirely naked, though remarkably there didn't seem to be anything to see. She remembered bioroids did have some clothing though.

Feeling him brush past her reminded her that she was holding her shirt and her cheeks burnt. XJ-471 was already past, however, unable to see her reaction. His short fur felt quite good brushing against her, but she did her best to put it out of her mind. She wasn't going to change her mind, especially not this soon after she'd made the decision! Besides, she didn't think they'd both fit in her bed. He was quite large after all.

She shut the bedroom door once he was out and made her way into her bed. Sleep came slowly though; she couldn't help searching for any stray hairs that'd gotten into her bed.

Angel woke slowly, groaning as the alarm went off. One hand reached out, swatting the small end-table several times before she was able to find the snooze button. She blinked, trying to get the sleep out of her eyes. After a moment she gave up and swung her legs out of the bed, pushing the thin cover aside. Reaching out once more, she actually turned the alarm off.

By the time she had wrapped herself in her old bathrobe and stumbled out of her bedroom she had cleared the sleep from her eyes and was seeing relatively clearly. Thus, she was surprised to find that the kitchen light was on. Had she left it on before going to bed? That didn't sound like her; she usually didn't even turn it on. Since she'd started grabbing dinner at the fast-food joint down the way she hadn't been doing anything after getting home other than finding her bed.

Feeling suddenly rather more awake, she walked towards the kitchen, keeping an eye out in case there was some kind of intruder. She could hear noises coming from the kitchen; someone had to be there. But who would break into her suite? It's not like she had a vengeful ex-husband or lover stalking her or anything like that. Besides, she could smell food cooking and she couldn't imagine someone breaking in to use her stove.

She stepped into her kitchen, her heart pounding with anticipation. Perhaps she should have called the police first? Home invasions, while rare, were not unheard of. Too late now!

The bulk of her kitchen was taken up by a large, fuzzy form with a long tail curled around its legs. Thin gloves covered its hands, too thin to be protecting them from any heat the pots scattered around might have. As she stepped into the kitchen it turned to her.

"Good morning," the bioroid said. "I trust you slept well?"

"Um, yes," she said, relaxing some as she remembered finding the thing the night before. She still had no idea why her sister had bought it for her, but it didn't seem to be presenting her with any particular danger. Just confusion.

"If you would care to be seated in the dining area," it said, "I'll bring out breakfast presently."

"Breakfast?" She hadn't thought there was anything left in the small apartment to cook. She'd stopped cooking a couple of months earlier and had started eating entirely at restaurants near her home. Less work and less clean-up that way.

"Yes. I hope you do not mind, but I took the liberty of ordering some foodstuffs for morning delivery. You were rather low on supplies."

"Er, yes, good," she said. "I'll just go wait in the dining room."

She belatedly realized as she stepped back out of the kitchen that the bioroid was still naked; did it have clothes? It had mentioned having 'things', but whether that included clothes she wasn't sure, especially since it didn't seem to be bothering with any.

The dining room wasn't a room so much as it was a narrow strip of the living room that had a counter built into the wall and a plastic-tiled floor with built in stools. A short window could be slid open to pass food out from the kitchen, but it had been stuck shut since before she'd moved in. She settled onto a stool, her eyes roving over the rather unappealing counter-top. Aside from a layer of dust, it was also an unappealing colour and a few stains from the previous occupants remained that she'd never been able to get out.

Unexpectedly, there was a manila folder laying on the counter with the Genar Corporation logo in the corner. She opened it, finding inside a variety of documents, the one catching her eye first of all being a 'gift invoice' that avoided listing the price of her 'gift' and which listed Janet as the purchaser. It was made out for the purchase of one bioroid and she was listed as the intended recipient. The letterhead on the invoice provided contact information for Genar Corporation should she have any problems or questions. Perhaps they could put her in touch with Janet? Angel was really curious about the gift, but hadn't actually been in touch with her sister for years.

Before she had a chance to look over the other documents, the bioroid made its way out of the kitchen with a plate. A pair of eggs, some sausages, and a few strips of crisp bacon adorned it. She gave it a tentative poke with the provided fork, but as much as she wanted to distrust it the meal looked rather well prepared, certainly better than she'd ever managed.

"Sit," she said as she cut the first sausage. "Could we talk for a moment?"

"Of course." He settled onto the next stool over. He was tall enough that he had to stoop to avoid hitting his head on the ceiling and the way he sat looked rather awkward. It was the thick tail, she supposed; her furniture hadn't been made with tails in mind. "What did you want to talk about?"

"Do you know why you're here?" she asked. She ate the breakfast he'd prepared as she spoke and was surprised at just how good it was. Moreover, there was no trace of fur or hair in it, quite a feat considering how much he had, or didn't bioroids shed?

"I was purchased as a gift for you, Angel Cunningham."

He shrugged. "That is not my place to know." She shook her head at the lack of curiosity.

"You aren't at all curious?" At his negative answer she continued, "So what exactly do you expect to do? I'm not actually home a lot of the time." Although she might be home more if it meant having meals like this one.

"I was given the body-servant program. I am able to attend to many personal tasks, and I'm also familiar with general housekeeping and maintenance tasks."

"Ah," she said. Just what she didn't need; her sister was surely having a good laugh at her expensive. For a few minutes she just concentrated on eating breakfast, enjoying the taste.

"Do you mind if I go to clean the kitchen while you eat?" he asked after she'd been silent for a moment. She waved him off, but watching him return to the kitchen reminded her of something.

"Do you have any clothes?" She rather hoped he did; she wasn't at all sure how to go about ordering some.

"Yes."

"Would you mind wearing them?"

"Of course not. Do you have any preference regarding which outfit?"

"No, just choose one."

He nodded and stepped into the living room behind her. She could hear him rummaging around, then silence. He stepped back into view as she finished eating, taking the now empty plate without comment and turning to head into the kitchen.

The outfit he'd chosen was, for lack of a better word, strange. She wasn't sure whether she would normally have called it clothing, really, though it did manage to cover the requisite area. It was little more than a loincloth, really, only with extra bits that covered the sides of his legs as well.

She shook her head as she took the few steps required to settle into her easy chair and turned the television on with a word to catch the morning news.

Once she was at work she took a few minutes to look over the other documents that were in the folder and had been surprised. They included a variety of things, such as photos of the various outfits the bioroids came with (not photographed on XJ, but there weren't many differences) and a list of the skills he'd been trained in. It was a long list, especially considering he'd only been out of a forced-growth tank for a couple of weeks. Another sheet had a list of further educational options, but she had to glance at only a couple to decide it'd be better to just send him to university; it might take longer, but it was considerably cheaper. There was, after all, a reason that learning tapes weren't used more universally.

More uncomfortably, there was a sheet that described her preferences and habits as well as her work schedule. Thankfully, it got as much wrong as it did right. Certainly it explained the way she'd found the bioroid when she'd gotten home; the position was explicitly described in the document.

She left work a couple of hours early and caught a tube-car back home. The trip home was shorter than normal thanks to her beating the shift-change rush and, especially, her not stopping to get dinner. If the bioroid was going to be staying (and she had no intention of trying to return him--the thought of what Genar Corp. must do with returned bioroids made her shutter) she was going to need to look into getting some more things for her home and perhaps look into finding a larger apartment as well, though she didn't really want to pay the increased rent. Her expenses would be going up enough as it was.

She was also curious what her place would look like. He had been industriously cleaning the kitchen when she'd left and, indeed, had been doing so since breakfast. It seemed like an awful long time to be cleaning it, but who was she to judge? It wasn't a chore she got around to much.

She stopped cold as she entered her apartment, the door closing unheeded behind her. It looked like a different apartment; she couldn't believe that her place could look so good in such a short amount of time. XJ was still in the living room, squatting over the floor and scrubbing at the carpet.

"Hello?"

"Hello," he said. He left the various cleaners he was using on the floor as he stood. "You're home early; what can I do for you?"

"Nothing just now, thanks." He'd already done far more than it would ever have occurred to her to ask.

He nodded and returned to what he'd been doing. She noticed that he held his tail tightly wrapped around his legs, held up off the carpet slightly. She could see what he was doing fairly clearly. Not that she had any interest in doing so; carpet cleaning was the least of her interests and, at least until today, she would have said it showed.

"I'm sorry that I don't have dinner finished yet, but I didn't expect you for a couple hours yet."

"Don't worry about it," she said. "Would you mind coming down to the commercial district with me?"

"You are planning on going now?" At her affirmative, he stood once more and joined her near the door.

It did not take long to get to there, though they were delayed as the tube-car stopped a couple of times on the way to let other passengers on and off. XJ did not fit very well in it and spent most of the trip standing as the seats were not designed with tails in mind and hunched over so his head wouldn't hit the ceiling. Angel felt awkward at first, though as commuters failed to comment on the bioroid's presence, or even to acknowledge it beyond a double-take when they first entered, she grew more comfortable.

The same could not be said for their arrival. She'd never noticed before that the offices of Genar Corp. were located not far from the tube-car station. A large crowd of protestors with signs stood outside shouting and demonstrating. Although they did not outright block her passage as Angel tried to get passed, neither were they particularly accommodating. They said some rather uncomplimentary things as Angel and XJ forced their way through, but never very loud; XJ was a rather imposing figure. A solitary sign on the Genar Corp. office door proclaimed that, due to the protests, they would be closed.

Just when she thought she was nearing the far end of the crowd, she was shocked to see the crowd had closed around her, leaving nowhere for her to go. They were jeering and cursing, focusing on her and XJ as Genar Corp wasn't open. As she stood, paralysed with indecision, what they were yelling only got more vicious. Then someone draw a knife.

She didn't see much after that. A thump against her back turned out to be XJ pushing her to the ground and crouching over her.

In such close proximity she was able to smell him and while he didn't smell human neither did he smell unpleasant. Of course, her judgement just then may have been biased as the protest was quickly turning into a riot, profanities turning into screams of pain. She could hear glass somewhere breaking.

To her surprise, either the rioters were leaving her and XJ alone, which she rather doubted, or he was proving quite able to repel any attacks they were making. Still, it was not pleasant the way she was, barely able to move. The presence of his body, however, was not in the least objectionable. She remembered clearly the way muscles covered his body and had no doubt that he could put up a fight.

The best thing she could do would be to wait for the police to arrive; they'd be able to deal with the riot. Already she could hear them in the distance.

She could hear the batons beating on heavy plastic shields, a warning that the police had arrived and had no intention of waiting the riot out and, indeed, the crowd seemed to have thinned out. The non-violent protestors had fled. Of course, that left her surrounded entirely by rioters. It wasn't long after that she heard the sound of canisters landing on the ground around her with metallic clinks and the hiss of escaping gas.

Effective as he seemed to be against the rioters, XJ was unable to do anything to help her against the gas. It burned her throat as she breathed, causing her to cough and hack.

The bioroid seemed impervious to the gas, but was far less impervious to the sound of her distress. He knocked everyone around him away then put his arms beneath her and picked her up, trotting out of the riot area. He used his heavy tail to push anyone in his way out of it.

The acrid smell and the burning sensation continued in Angel's throat, even becoming worse as she was lifted away from the ground, but the continuous motion of XJ as he pushed away the crowd helped keep it from building up around her. She blinked her eyes against the tears forming there, trying to see where her protector was taking her.

Someone in thick black clothes with a word on his chest that she couldn't make out thanks to her tear-blurred vision appeared in front of them. A couple of others in the same outfit flanked him.

"Halt!" The figure held up a hand. She thought it was a hand anyway; it seemed to be connected to his shoulder so it seemed likely, but she wasn't able to make out much more than a blur. His face seemed even more indistinct and she suspected he was wearing some kind of a mask. It would certainly explain why he wasn't choking.

"Where are you going?" he continued.

"I am taking her to a safe place," XJ, never quite stopping, though he did slow down momentarily. The officer--Angel suspected it was a police officer they were facing--did not try and actually stop them. Whether that was because XJ was rather larger than the officer or because they wanted people to leave she didn't know.

It wasn't far to a small food-court, about a block or so, and the air cleared up considerably as she was carried away from the site of the riot. The officer followed them and, as her vision cleared up, she could see that he was indeed a police officer.

She looked up at XJ as he carried her; he'd seemed almost entirely unaffected by the riot gas and, despite having carried her, his strength didn't seem to be flagging either.

"Who are you?" the officer asked, pulling his mask off as they left the area with the gas. "What were you doing bringing a bioroid here today of all days? Announcements of this protest have been in the news feeds for weeks."

Angel tried to speak, but found that her throat was too raw still. XJ looked down at her with a concerned expression as he placed her on a bench. He completely ignored the police officer, but then he wasn't a citizen of Charred Rock, only a bit of property.

"Answer me!" The officer stood close, pushing in on Angel's space, but while this normally would have bothered her, the presence of the bioroid, also quite close, prevented it. Whatever issues one might have with the concept, or with the laws of Charred Rock in that regard, no one would argue that a bioroid wasn't loyal. It was literally designed into them. XJ demonstrated this as he placed a hand on the police officer's shoulder, the gesture completely hiding said shoulder, and pulling him away with what was probably supposed to be a gentle tug, but which sent the officer reeling backwards.

"Hey!" The officer glared at the bioroid and looked like he was going to make a stronger protest.

"It is likely that the riot gas is effecting her ability to speak," XJ said.

The officer glanced at Angel, his cheeks bright red. "Oh. Yes. It would do that. Perhaps if you could write down some contact information we can get back to you later?" He produced a notebook from a pocket on his shirt and placed it in front of her along with a pen. She wrote down her name and system ID number then gave him a weak smile. He flushed again before fleeing.

"Perhaps something to drink would help your throat?" XJ suggested. She shook her head, gesturing for him to come closer and to turn around. He shielded her from the riot and she wanted to be sure he was okay. He wasn't acting hurt, sure, but she'd known plenty of people who had hidden even fairly major wounds in order to look tough and they didn't even have XJ's preprogramed loyalty to blame for it.

He crouched in front of her and she gently ran her fingers down his softly burred back. She could certainly see where he'd been hit and, had he not been covered in fur she suspected he'd be showing rather unpleasant bruises.

He seemed to sense her question and replied to it without her having to say anything. "While I am not designed for combat like the VN series, all Genar Corporation products are expected to meet certain standards in durability and self-defence. "

As much as Angel wanted to protest him categorizing himself as a product, her throat was still too raw. Besides, according to law he was. Instead, she nodded her understanding, though she knew he wouldn't be able to see it. With a final gentle stroke over his fur-covered back she let him stand. He disappeared around a corner for a moment before returning with a small paper cup of some fruity beverage. She gave him a smile as she took it, sipping it cautiously.

It wasn't until she'd finished it that they left for home, leaving the empty cup on a nearby table.

By the time she got home, Angel's throat was feeling much improved, even if she still found herself rubbing it occasionally. Her voice had returned as well, though it still sounded off. In any case, it was a relief to be home once more and she was tempted to just flop onto her bed and sleep for the rest of the day. She pulled off her shirt as she stepped inside, unthinking habit controlling her arms rather than her tired brain.

XJ followed her in only a couple steps behind her, stopping to secure the door before continuing in and brushing against her as he turned around, his body soft where it touched her skin.

"Should I start preparing some supper?" he asked.

"Sure." Her voice, though audible, was quiet.

The light on her terminal was blinking; she'd gotten a message while she'd been out. Instead of flopping into bed she flopped into a chair by her terminal, a touch to the side waking it. Not surprisingly, the message was from the police asking her to come down to the station in the next couple of days to make a statement. She flagged it as urgent, remind later and glanced up at where XJ was in the kitchen, working steadily in a way she'd never had the patience for.

After watching him for a moment she turned back to her terminal and attempted to use it to find her sister's contact info; she knew it was there, but it had been long enough finding it could be a problem, but some kind of thank-you note seemed appropriate at the least. Despite her intentions, she found herself looking up at the bioroid every few minutes as she worked.

She shook her head; there was no way she was going to find anything if she didn't stop looking at him every few seconds while he was cooking her supper. Picking up the terminal, she carried it into her bedroom where she wouldn't be able to see him; perhaps that would keep her from getting distracted constantly. Why was his presence distracting her so badly anyway?

The move to her bedroom was not entirely successful; the room was without a proper chair or desk to sit at, which was the main reason her terminal lived in the living area rather than her bedroom in the first place, and she ended up sitting on the edge of her bed.

Being in her bedroom and especially sitting on her bed, only served to remind her of how XJ had looked when she first entered the room. Had it been only last night? It seemed as though he'd been present a lot longer; certainly more had happened in the past day than in the month before.

She tossed the terminal onto an end-table where it landed with a satisfying clunk and stood, pacing the side of the bed. If she sent a thank-you note there was a chance she might discover she'd gotten him by mistake. She certainly couldn't think of a good reason for her sister to send her a bioroid. Could she give him up? Despite her distaste for the concept, she found XJ quite appealing as a person.

By the time she picked the tablet up again she had come to a decision: she would wait and see if she heard from her sister (or the police) in the next few days first. Then, as she went to leave the bedroom, a memory of how he'd looked stretched out on her bed hanging in her mind, he stuck his head in the doorway.

"Supper is ready if you'd like." He smiled and beckoned her out, seemingly unaware of the thoughts she'd been thinking. Which he was, of course.

They ate in the living room, the television off. For the first time she was glad she had two chairs there; she'd only gotten them as a pair originally because they were sold in sets and she wasn't going to simply throw one away. This was the first time she could recall having company, especially for a meal. Not, of course, that there would have been much chance of that given how many meals she's been eating out.

As he ate, XJ managed to lounge in the chair looking quite comfortable despite the tail the chair designer had not had in mind. But then, XJ and his ilk had to have been designed with existing fixtures in mind, however much his height might suggest otherwise.

Between bits he talked about what he'd done while she was at work--mostly to watching television and cleaning. The latter wasn't particularly interesting so what they discussed was mostly the shows on the couple of channels she got. Not just the events that had happened in the either, which was what she would have expected, but an intelligent discourse on their content, their flaws and virtues, and their relative merits.

By the time they finished eating Angel was convinced that, despite having watched only a single day's worth of television, at least that she was aware of, XJ would have been more able to run the programming than most of the people actually doing it.

The meal itself, like his previous cooking, was incomparable in her experience. She feared she'd be spoilt for the cheap fast-food she'd been eating before he'd shown up, but as long as he was present she wouldn't have to worry that; There was no way she'd go to one of those places when the alternative was XJ's heavenly cooking. That he seemed quite able to avoid getting bits of fur into the food was astounding considering she didn't think there was any part of his body, save perhaps the bottoms of his feet, not covered in it.

The meal was over all too quickly and he insisted on doing what clean-up there was, though admittedly this consisted of little more than taking the dishes into the kitchen and dumping them into the washer. She turned the television on and was idly watching, if not really paying attention to, one of the programs when he returned.

They continued their discussion, the lack of meal disappointing for its own lack, but making it easier to talk. Although they started on the subject of the program on the screen their conversation soon found itself wandering and XJ proved himself to be full of information on quite a variety of topics.

It was getting quite late when she realized what time it'd gotten to and she excused herself for bed. Her night-time routine took no longer than normal, but as she climbed into the bed alone she felt an absence that she was not familiar with, a feeling that there should be someone else there with her.

Still, she remained in her bed, shifting around until the thin cover was rather mussed up. In the end she got up and walked over to the bedroom door, not bothering to put on a robe. The television and lights were off, but XJ didn't appear to be asleep.

"Would you care to join me in my bed?" she asked. What she'd do if he said no she wasn't sure, though the rational part of her mind insisted he could hardly do so.

"Certainly," he said. She got out of the doorway to allow him in and, as he entered the room, he knocked the door shut with his tail.

Moments later they were both under the covers, a bit of a tight fit, but all the more pleasant for his close presence. She quickly fell asleep with his furred arms wrapped around her, hugging her to his chest.

It was still night when Angel faded into consciousness once more; the clock on her nightstand showed that it was still well before morning. The unfamiliar, but not unwelcome, feel of XJ against her back was still present, the fur covering his body brushing against her skin with his every breath. His arms were loosely cradled around her, though in sleep they lacked his strength. His snout rested on the top of her head with her head tucked under his chin. Even the long tail he had could be felt, the end tucked neatly against her feet. The heat of his body warmed her almost too much in the climate controlled environment of Charred Rock; she had the thermostat set with just herself in mind and had not adjusted it to take into account his presence. Still, the extra warmth was not at all unpleasant.

She was glad that, whatever had woken her up, it was not the need to use the bathroom; she had no desire to break his embrace or flee from the way he held her. Despite not having known him very long at all, and despite her original misgivings, she had come to be quite fond of XJ.

Gradually she became aware of another firmness pressing against her buttocks, this one without the fur that covered the rest of his body. She reached down with one hand, gently exploring it with her fingers. There was no doubt of what it was, though it didn't feel particularly like its human equivalent. Her questing fingers had no difficulty finding the opening it had come from either, though the fur covering his body had hid it from sight quite effectively.

She became aware of a change in his breathing. "I didn't realize you were, ah, complete down there." She spoke softly, not wanting her voice to disturb the peaceful feeling in the room.

"I am." She could feel his chin moving against her head as he spoke.

"So I see." There were, of course, always rumours of people engaging in carnal acts with bioroids, but she had no doubt people would spread rumours of people engaging in carnal acts with their tables if they thought anyone would believe it. Perhaps even if no one would.

She rolled over to face him, enjoying the feel of his fur brushing against her as she did, especially when it brushed against her nipples.

"Did you want to, you know..." She hesitated; while she'd certainly been through the sex-ed program growing up, she'd never actually spoken about the subject outside of that course.

One of his hands slid down to her buttocks, gently holding it for a moment before he replied. "Do you?"

"I- I'm not-" Even as she stumbled over the words he brought his other hand around and placed a finger over her lips, silencing her. With a smooth motion he rolled over her, supporting himself on his hands and knees as he looked down at her.

"I understand. Just tell me if you're at all uncomfortable and I'll stop." He brought his head down to nuzzle at her neck. She gazed up at him, the blanket still hanging off of him and making the area under him appear as a cave. Shifting to balance on one hand, he brought the other to her chest, running a finger over one of her breasts and down her belly until it reached the area between her thighs. Once there it circled around her sensitive bud of flesh, caressing her with its singular touch. The firmness she had earlier felt pressing into her she couldn't feel at all anymore, but she could see the outline of it in the blanket cave and shivered; so big! She was admittedly not really familiar with the human variety save in general detail, but there was no way he could be undersized. Indeed, the thought of it in her made her a bit nervous; would it fit?

XJ stopped and raised his head to look at her, the question clear in his expression. It was amazing how well human expressions came across on his decidedly nonhuman face. Or perhaps not; surely that had been considered in his design?

"Please, don't stop."

He said nothing in return, but his finger resumed its motion over her flesh, enticing increasing reactions from her. Her body trembled at his touch, her lips parting to let soft, inarticulate sounds escape from her throat. He lowered his head again, this time nuzzling her breast, his tongue slipping out to caress her nipple and a moan found its way out of her. Despite the slow, calm motions her heart was pounding and she was looking up at him with a haze over her mind.

She wrapped her arms around his chest, burying her fingers in the fur on his back. She pulled him towards her and, ever compliant, he came, his head moving back up to return its attentions to her neck. His finger slipped away, leaving an emptiness in her groin that was soon replaced as he penetrated her, his flesh pushing its way into her as she pulled him against her body. His fur brushed against her increasingly sensitive and, as he began to thrust into her with deliberate movements, his fuzzy chest rubbed against her.

"Oh. Yes. Don't stop." Her words were scattered amongst moans even as her hands worked their way down his back until they reached the base of his tail. With every thrust she pulled downwards even as she bucked her hips upwards.

His every movement was sending shivers through her, the way his hand caressed her breast, his thumb teasing her nipple. As he nuzzled her neck his tongue brushed against her skin. Her heart was pounding in her chest and he was only exciting her more with every movement. Even his tail joined in, its length stroking her legs, pressing them apart so his shaft could fill her further and giving her sensations she could never have imagined in the past.

She reached up, wrapping her arms around his neck and shoulders, pulling him tight against her body even as she arched upwards, the sensations becoming too much for her. Inarticulate cries escapes her throat as she was rendered momentarily speechless.

Dropping back to the bed, she felt the tension of the previous twenty-four hours, the time since he'd joined her, flowing away. It was, she could feel now, still in his embrace, still with him inside of her, entirely right.

XJ uttered a soft gasp, thrusting hard against her with her arms still loosely around him she could feel his muscles go rigid as he buried himself deep inside of her. His seed no doubt was flooding into her. He raised his head and his jaws parted in a silent, but extended cry.

Moments later she felt him going limp on top of her and he smiled up at him. Together they rolled onto their sides as he pulled out of her. She could feel his still partially erect shaft pressing against her legs as they embraced each other, damp with the combined fluids of their union.

It was not long before she fell asleep once more, but she still managed to curl up against him, and he around her with his tail running up along her spine, the end near the back of her neck and the entire length helping to hold her against him.

She slept with her face buried in his warm chest-fur, the scent of his body strong in every breath.
