Author's Notes: This marks the third chapter of the series. And also marks the debut of Captain Maleek "Rush" McIntyre, and Staff Sergeant Stuart Macmahon.

Disclaimer: This story contains fairly random acts of violence, sex and blood. Here, we find out more about the missing link between Colonel Schumann and his unique callsign.

Hunter's Moon: Interlude

A file folder lay open before the newly-appointed commander in chief of the task force designated to force the threat to their knees. In it was the initial military report on the disaster at Borzoi AFB not more than six months earlier.

Joint Military Report on Borzoi Massacre

Time of Attack: 1900-0300 hours

Date of Attack: September 13-14, 2015

Number of casualties: 1, 720

Cost of destroyed military hardware: US$ 800.7M

Number of survivors: 64 personnel

Number of Infected: 60 personnel

Infected personnel: Transferred to Area 51, except Lieutenant Colonel Raymond "Gene" Foley

Non-infected survivors: Colonel Stephen "Sage" Sawyer, Dr. Ashley "Dale" Compton, Sergeant Bryan "Wolf" O'Donnell and Lieutenant Samuel "Blitzkrieg" Thuo.

Matter referred to: Major Paul Schumann of A.S.R.O.C for evaluation and containment

Base Status: Closed for repairs and ongoing investigation.

Brief Description:

There appeared to be an outbreak of a viral disease within the base itself. Improper handling of an experimental biological warfare agent has led to the mutation of several members of the Airborne Ranger's Alpha unit. These infected personnel went riot within the base compound, killing or maiming numerous military personnel. At present, it is unsure if the lone "cooperative lycanthrope" is willing to shed light on what truly happened.

Most of the cameras in critical sectors were knocked out. Numerous bullet fragments and casings suggest a full-scale war between the infected and uninfected. With no video evidence to corroborate our findings, it may prove difficult to pin the murders on the Alpha unit.

At least thirty individuals appeared to have died peacefully, these suffered from broken spines which rendered them dead within fifteen seconds. The rest of the dead carry bite marks, claw swipes and missing organs. Of the missing organs, the heart is the most frequently isolated.

Saliva samples and dried semen indicate no known animal species. We may be dealing with a new species, possibly a hybrid of human and some other. As of the writing of this report, no member of Alpha unit has been located.

Recommendation: Hunt these units down and terminate. All means will be placed at the indicated officer's disposal for the containment and/or eradication of the unknown species.

Signed:

General Michael Willoughby, USAF C-in-C

General Monroe Adams, US Army C-in-C

Admiral Samantha Alexander, USN C-in-C

General John Smith, USMC C-in-C

Colonel Jack Price, Her Majesty's SAS

Colonel Franz Yvangelion, NATO C-in-C

It has been six months since the base attack. Strangely, Canid has gone dark. There have been no spot fires and no contact of any kind. Task Force Lycan was given the job of locating the rogue units with no initial success yet.

The major, now colonel, had bristled when the Armed Forces Committee had given him the unit's name. He had personally gone out of his way to find the reason. Personally, he felt that they were not going to be given priority until something catastrophic happened.

Senator John Conway was just preparing his things for another plenary debate about the budget allocations. Imagine his surprise to meet a fuming SEAL so early in the morning.

"Senator, what is the meaning of this?" Major Schumann had asked holding a white paper. Seeing the hot fire behind those eyes, the senator swallowed before answering.

"I have no idea what you're talking about Paul. This is out of my hands and you know it" Senator Conway had said.

"Don't lie to me!" Paul responded as he punched out a section of the alabaster wall. This action startled the senator and made him wince. "Who gave MY task force such a horrendous name?"

"It was... it was... Secretary of State Rose Simmons. She thought it appropriate given your company" the senator whimpered. Anubis reined in his temper as he fought to come to terms with the situation. At least there were no reporters around to capture the moment. At the moment, they were all camping out on the Capitol lawn. A last-minute security measure had rendered all press tags useless. Growling loudly, the major had removed his hand from the wall and checked for broken bones. Finding none, he extended his hand to the senator on the floor.

The senator accepted the dust-covered hand and was pulled to his feet. Looking deeply into Paul's eyes, John Conway thought he saw a flash of amber. Blinking to clear his eyes, the senator refocused and saw no change in the brown eye color. The SEAL had regained his composure by this time and was picking up the scattered papers. Paul's aide-de-camp, Lieutenant Colonel Raymond Foley, was retrieving some papers that had fallen over the edge of the marble banister onto the floor below.

After being handed the papers by both Paul and his aide, the senator watched them jump over the railings onto the ground below. John had closed his eyes to stop from seeing any bodies. When he opened them again, he saw the major silhouetted against the sunlight streaming through the doors. As the major turned to face the senator, there was another flash of amber in Paul's eyes. The A.S.R.O.C commander nodded his head before disappearing out the doors. The senator just slumped against the stone column with relief at having made it out alive.

Fast forward to the present day...

Colonel Paul "Anubis" Schumann's office

The colonel was thinking about the day he had confronted Senator Conway. There was no mistaking the fear he saw in the man's eyes. The punch in the wall was totally uncalled for. Even now, three months later, he was still wondering how he escaped injury to his right hand. Paul readjusted the pendant he was wearing over his dog tags once more as he pushed the military report aside in favor of personnel recruitments.

The first folder he picked up belonged to Staff Sergeant Stuart McMahon of the SAS. The strapping six-foot two-inch sergeant had applied to the task force on the recommendation of Colonel Price. Flipping through his personnel records, an item jumped out at Anubis.

#In over a decade of service, the sergeant had garnered heated criticisms for going against orders when the situation went against his team.#

Knowing he needed a second opinion, he picked up his phone and called General Stephen Sawyer.

After a couple of rings, the phone was answered. "This is General Sawyer. Who's this?"

"Still direct to the point after all this time Sage? I thought your promotion would cure you of that habit of yours"

"Paul, what can this old warrior do for you?" Sage asked.

"I'm having second thoughts about accepting the application of one Sergeant Stuart McMahon of the SAS. Doesn't seem to be a team player, is all" Paul answered.

"You're the one who's actually in charge over there Paul. I'm just a façade in a paper position. At least the rank's real" Sage replied to his colleague. "Do what you think is best for the team" Sage added before hanging up.

"Gee, thanks for the advice" Paul remarked into the phone. Replacing the handset back onto the carriage, he picked up one of the stamps and inked the folder. After some more thinking, Paul placed his approval.

The next folder belonged to Captain Maleek McIntyre of 1st Armored Infantry. At six foot eight inches, the officer was near the height threshold for the Bradley IFV. Anyone over seven feet would be scratching their heads on the ceiling of the transport unit. Combat reports from the field indicated that the captain had participated in both Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. For his participation, the captain was awarded two Purple Hearts and a DSO. The fourth page contained something interesting.

On this page, Paul noted that the captain was in fact a lycanthrope. Captain Rush, as he was called on the field, kept entering the thick of the fighting; risking his life in the process. When the actions were over, the lycan was nowhere to be found.

A full moon over Baghdad almost exposed the captain. It was here that the bloodiest mission ever to be undertaken by Joker Company was fought.

Baghdad, Iraq

Captain Maleek "Rush" McIntyre

J Company Commander, 1st Armored Infantry

As we made our way on a routine sweep of the city, we encountered a checkpoint manned by Iraqi police. Our convoy, consisting of three Humvees and two M2 Bradley IFV's, were waved on through. We had not turned a corner when the sound of gunfire punctuated the air. Getting on the radio, I learned that one of our companies had been engaged by Iraqi insurgents. With our patrol area not far from the pinned troops, we quickened our pace and struck a roadside bomb. This detonated near the middle of our column, completely destroying one of the Humvees. We wheeled our IFV over to help when RPG's started raining down on top of us.

Quickly, I herded my men onto the remaining vehicles and managed to pull out of the area. As I prepared to board one of the Humvees, an RPG struck the ground in front of me. The shockwave sent me flying. I heard my radio crackle with static as the vehicles bugged out. Closing my eyes, I felt a chill in my bones. This chill spread to the rest of my body and made me gasp. I rolled myself over and saw a full moon make its way out over the horizon. With the change upon me, I stripped my uniform and vest off.

My jaws and face lengthened to form a muzzle. My vision grew sharper as my eyes adjusted to the darkness around me. My hearing grew keen as my ears became triangular shapes on top of my head. The teeth in my mouth became dagger-like as I began to drool heavily. Muscles in my upper body bulged outwards as my innards started rearranging themselves to suit my new form. Growling out my frustration, I kicked off my boots as my feet began to acquire a digitigrade stance. With the claws forming on the end of my toes and hands, my bloodlust increased tenfold.

My pants tore to allow my lower limbs access to morph into powerful tools for the beast within me. I would need his speed and stamina to catch up with my men. My skin itched horribly as tiny hairs sprouted from the follicles. Raking my chest with my clawed hands, I was satisfied that the human skin peeled off nicely. As the black hairs covered my body, I howled my acceptance of the change.

A tail emerged above my ass pushing my pants lower than they already were. When the change had finished, I sniffed the air to hunt for prey. I discovered three of them on a roof above me. In the darkness, they never saw me coming. I killed the first one with a quick bite to the neck, crushing his windpipe. The other two were able to grab their human weapons and shot at me. Dodging their bullets was easy. I just waited for them to reload before I struck. With two swipes from my claws, I tore gashes in their chests and left them to bleed.

Hearing more gunfire in the distance, I made my way over the rooftops to where the humans had ambushed my pack. I cleaned them all out to allow my humans to escape. When the guns on my 'pack' had silenced, I settled down to feast on my kills. Crushing the dying human's skulls hastened their death and allowed me to eat their brains. The grayish matter was delicious. When I had finished, I switched to their hearts. These muscular organs resisted my first bite, only to give in to the second. As I sat on my haunches and munched the amount of flesh in front of me, two humans from my unit found me.

I growled at them to stay away from my meal and continued eating. In their confusion, they just sat down and waited for me to finish. When I satiated my hunger, I turned towards them. They reeked of fear and cordite. They made a grab for their weapons and pointed these at me as I approached.

I was covered with blood so the reactions were expected. What I did not expect was for one of them to approach and scratch me behind the ears. I was amused at the attention and followed them down to their vehicles on all fours. The others were just as surprised to see me. They put me inside the Humvee and went back to base. I curled up on the floor and went to sleep.

In the morning, I woke to find myself in the infirmary. Bits and pieces of the night before filtered back to me as I tried to remember what had happened.

The commanding officer of the division, Colonel Stephen Sawyer, took one look at me and shipped me home. In his report, I read that I had suffered PTSD from the combat scenario and was to be kept at a hospital pending further evaluation.

March 13th 2016

Paul finished reading the report and had made his decision. He would acquire the captain as his Executive Officer. It was up to the lycan to decide if he wanted the position or not. As he placed this folder into the "Accepted" box, he saw that he had nine more positions to fill and only seven more folders.

Pressing a button on his intercom, he asked for his aide-de-camp, White, to enter his office. When White entered dressed in khaki slacks and no top, Paul just raised his eyebrows.

"Sir?" White said as he saluted the colonel.

"Have a seat, White" Paul said as he made his way to the mini-bar. There he poured himself a stiff drink and a grabbed a mango juice for White. Handing the juice to White, he downed the whiskey in one gulp. Feeling the alcohol take effect, Paul sat down across his subordinate and crossed his arms. The pendant seemed to heat up while his body cooled.

'Hmm, something to check later' thought Paul to himself. Loudly this time, "White, where is your top uniform? You're setting a bad example for the men"

"It's in the wash. I don't want to smell like wet dog when I wear it" "White" Foley said as he smiled his toothy grin. The werefox had intentionally left his top uniform and strutted around the corridors like he owned the place. He had also shifted into his hybrid form so the soldiers would get used to it.

Pushing Maleek's folder towards Foley, Paul asked "Well, what do you think?"

Chuckling softly, White handed the folder back. "He's already here. I took the liberty of inviting him over. I did not take no for an answer"

"Well that's good for me, how?" Paul breathed out, frustrated by the knowing look in the werefox's emerald eyes.

"You'd make the perfect couple" laughed the fox, dodging the silver paperweight thrown at him by the commander.

"Think about it" White said, after having stopped laughing. "He's a submissive and you're dominant. Opposites attract remember?"

Instead of a response, a burst of light slammed the werefox into the steel walls. "You do know that hurt, right?" he asked Paul. Opening his eyes, he saw that Paul had acquired golden eyes. Knowing that the commander was human, this did not make sense. What was happening?

Paul's unblinking stare was getting unnerving. Coupled with the fact that his right hand was glowing blue and the left held a golden orb, there was something horribly wrong. Slowly the light faded as the commander appeared to get a handle on the situation.

"What just happened?" Paul said, looking down at the stunned werefox. Helping his subordinate up, he noticed what appeared to be a jeweled gauntlet on his right hand. The incredulous look on Paul's face was mirrored by Foley. A golden tablet appeared on the table behind the two of them. The writing was in Ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs, yet Paul felt that he knew the language from somewhere.

"I don't know. Maybe you're having a reaction to my saliva?" White suggested. Could having drunk from the same coffee cup have spawned this problem? Impossible!

"That was six months ago. You told me that the transformation is almost instantaneous" Paul replied, as he tried to remove the gauntlet. The gauntlet felt glued to his skin, the more he yanked; the more that it felt like he was ripping his own skin off. Determined with removing the object, he allowed White to give the glove a good yank.

With a tearing sound that could be heard in the outer office, the glove finally came off. Instead of blood, Paul was staring at a clawed hand. It resembled a certain jackal god's appendage. The soft, short fur covering the hand was black in nature. His hand had the pads associated with that of a lycanthrope except that only one hand was affected. The other parts were normal. Knowing that this would not sit well with the rest of the council, he slipped the gauntlet back on. To his, and White's surprise, the gauntlet merged with his skin showing no sign of a tear.

As they left the office, the tablet changed form to a folder. It vanished from the table and appeared in Paul's hand as the two officers made their way to the science division. Along the way, they met with Captain Rush. They informed the elated officer that he had been made the XO of the task force.

"Good morning doctor. How is the research coming along?" Colonel Schumann asked, startling Dr. Compton from his work. Ever since the tragedy that befell his colleagues, Dale had thrown himself into his work. Only a handful of people could detach Dale from any project he was working on and that included White and Anubis.

"Going along nicely, gentlemen. I believe that I may have a breakthrough with the new batch of formula" Dale replied.

"Would this be the one you called the 'Lycaon' strain?" White interjected.

"Yes, I believe so. We just need a volunteer to test this. A real volunteer, mind you" Dale said sadly, remembering what happened when an entire platoon was forced to be the guinea pigs.

"I'll ask around, doctor. Do join us for lunch. We could use another for the table" Paul told his head researcher.

"Okay, I'll just save my work and I'll follow" Dale said.

"We can wait, doctor" Paul said in reply.

Dr. Compton saved his work onto the base computer and joined the three officers for lunch at the mess hall. On the way over, he noticed the strange markings on Colonel Schumann's hand. "When was the tattoo, colonel? I did not know you fancied such exquisite markings"

All three soldiers came to a complete halt. Opening one of the doors, they entered an empty interrogation room. Rush was sent to the observation area with White to prevent anyone from listening in.

"It's not a tattoo, doctor. It's a gauntlet" Paul said, allowing the gauntlet to return to its jeweled form.

Dale was astonished. This gauntlet was a part of an armor set that was rumored to be very powerful. Not only that, it was supposed to be inoperable for a human; only gods could wield such weaponry. Could it be?

"When did you acquire this item? It's supposed to be the stuff of mythology!" Dale sputtered out. As the doctor moved to touch the item, a beam of light flung him into the wall. Rubbing his head, the doctor moaned "Ow. What was that?"

"Perhaps it has something to do with the pendant I'm wearing?" Paul said as he helped the doctor to his feet. Taking off the ankh, Paul placed the ankh beside the gauntlet on the table. Both items began to glow a vivid blue before acquiring a golden yellow color.

Rush and White saw the color reactions from both gauntlet and pendant. Sensing danger, they threw their combined weight against the observation window. Spider lines appeared on the glass, but it did not fail. The glass was designed to withstand a lycan or three throwing themselves at it. White had a feeling that their effort was useless. He drew his Desert Eagle out and unloaded three high-explosive rounds on the glass. Finally, the window gave way with a shattering of the safety glass. White launched himself through the opening and made an attempt to grab Paul's arm.

It was an effort in futility.

Just as White's paw was inches away, Paul vanished from sight. White impacted the prefabricated table, breaking it.

Rush entered the scene and said one line, "We're in deep shit now"

With no over-all commander, A.S.R.O.C would splinter. They had to find Paul before the rest of the council arrived in three weeks.

Colonel Paul "Anubis" Schumann

A.S.R.O.C C-IN-C

Paul was transported by the 'gold bubble' to a ritual room. The occupants of the room were stunned to have a human drop in on them. One of the figures was no other than the god Anubis. Moving swiftly, he scooped up the human and brought him to the bedroom in another part of the area. It was there that Colonel Schumann would awake.

As Paul came to, he noticed the he was lying on a bed made of silk and appeared stuffed with down feathers. No room in the infirmary was this plush, certainly not his own mattress. The blankets covering him felt like satin. Parting the bed curtain on his left, Paul saw the braziers with hot coals in them. He was definitely NOT within the airbase.

A baritone voice sounded behind him, "Ah, you're awake"

Paul felt his blood run cold at the remark. Forcing his body to function, he turned and faced the owner of that voice. What he saw shocked him awake.

Before him was the reclining figure of the Egyptian god of judgment, Lord Anubis himself. "And I'd like to get back to my troops. Perhaps, you could send me back?" Paul said, stalling for time.

"But you only just got here. Won't you stay for some introductions at least?" Anubis told the human, lacing his voice with a compulsion to obey.

"I can't stay. I am needed most where I came from" Paul replied, shrugging off the compulsion.

Anubis was surprised. No mortal had ever shrugged off a compulsion before. This one was the first. "My gauntlet would not have chosen someone of weak mind and body. Perhaps, this is a good thing" the god thought to himself.

"If I am where I think I am, that would make me somewhat of an oddity here" Paul said slowly, bringing the jackal god back to the present.

At that moment, the doors to the room were flung open. A veritable pantheon of gods walked in and started demanding answers.

"How did he get here?!" Ra demanded.

"Where did he come from?" Thoth questioned.

"Whose bright idea was it to bring him in?" Set inquired.

Instead of leaving Anubis to face the questions, Paul got off the bed and faced the crowd. Most of them towered over him. In most circles, his uniform would cut an imposing figure. Right now, it was just breeding consternation and confusion.

"QUIET!" Paul shouted over the din the gods were creating. This calmed the room down almost instantly.

"First things first, who sent the golden tablet to my office two hours ago?" waving the heavy object like it was made of paper.

"I did," Osiris said, the other gods clearing a path for him. "I had a feeling that you might need it, pup"

"Wait, what did you just call me?" Paul said incredulously.

"Pup. It suits you, Anubis Schumann, seeing as only you and your father can wield the gauntlet of Death" Osiris continued, startling the pantheon.

Bast made her way forward to take a good look at the human. Paul Schumann just watched her movements warily. Without warning, Bast made an attempt to strike. Reflexively, Paul just parried the strike and pinned the cat goddess' arms behind her back. With a free hand, he removed the combat knife from his shin holster and placed it against the cat goddess's neck.

"Yield" Paul growled out, his now amber eyes shining brightly.

The entire group, save for Anubis, Ra and Osiris, was surprised at the human's fluid movements.

"So he's my son?" Anubis thought.

"Oh, I just love the position Bast is in" Ra was thinking amusedly, seeing the expression on Bast's face.

"This is an amusing development" Osiris contemplated.

"Let her go little one. She was only playing" Horus spoke up. Horus had been watching his charge and only just got back. He had made his way to the sleeping quarters when he noticed that all the gods were watching something with interest. Shoving his way forward, he saw the fluidity of the human's parry and the subsequent counter-attack.

Paul released Bast at that statement. The gauntlet glowed red before fading from sight. Bast lay gasping on the floor, finally freed from her pained position. A human hand appeared in her field of vision. Grasping it, Paul helped her up.

"Wow, what was that?" he was thinking, as the adrenaline drained away. After helping Bast to her feet, he sat down on the floor. A falcon flew over and helped the human to his feet.

Horus could not stand the sight any longer and leaped into the air. Landing beside the human, he helped him to his feet. Dusting the human off, he thought he felt muscles underneath the shredded clothes.

Bast's attack had sliced through the uniform. Paul was saved by the Kevlar vest he wore underneath.

"What is this material you wear?" Horus inquired, feeling the soft armor.

"It's called body armor. This vest is a type II worn by law enforcement agencies. I usually wear a type IV" Paul answered automatically.

"And who made this 'body armor'? Humans can't have done something of this quality" Set interrupted.

Turning his amber eyes toward the wolf, Paul let him have it. "And I thought you were supposed to be omniscient. I guess that's wrong as well. How long has it truly been since a mortal set foot in these chambers? TELL ME!" Paul answered, shouting the last bit.

Wincing, the wolf put his head on the ground. Everyone's ears were ringing at the outburst.

A beeping sound made Paul temper his fury and start searching in his pockets for the source of the noise. From his right rear pocket, he pulled out a GPS transponder.

The beacon had been activated when Paul had landed. It was silent while he slept due to lack of satellites in the area. When one had happened to pass by, the signal it transmitted was dispatched to the worried team at Schneider AFB.

March 18th 2016

Schneider AFB

Operations Center

06.30 hours

A faint beeping could be heard in the quiet room. All activity was hushed as numerous individuals tried to pinpoint the source of the signal. Captain Rush McIntyre was monitoring the activity with Colonel White Foley. They had both gone without sleep for the last 36 hours. Both lycans were well aware that they would be blamed for the disappearance of the commander.

"I have a lock!" one of the operators called out. "He's in Egypt. We're triangulating the signal by bouncing it off a Chinese communications satellite"

"Good job, keep on it" White purred.

As suddenly as it appeared, the signal vanished. White looked to the young tiger manning the console.

"We were able to narrow it down to roughly 100 miles of square desert. The signal was strongest here" bringing the area onscreen and highlighting the suspect location.

The three pyramids of Giza stood proudly in the center of it all. Nodding his head, Rush signaled for the tiger to begin coordination with Egyptian ground troops. They would need permission to bring their commander home.

Paul had watched the transponder send its signal out. When it was about to narrow his location, he inexplicably crushed the equipment beneath his boot. With the gauntlet, he set fire to the sturdy transponder until it was nothing but ashes.

"When do we start?" was his question to the assembled gods.

Inwardly, Paul was aghast at himself. His only ticket home and he destroyed it? What was wrong with him?

The answer would be forthcoming.

Anubis approached his "son" and pulled him close. Paul felt every muscular ridge on the jackal god's body, with the bulging eight-pack across his face. "I knew my gauntlet chose wisely. Come son; let us eat before we begin your training" Anubis told his son as they made their way out.

"Why can't I have a son like that?" Set muttered to no one.

"Because you love males?" Ra stated softly, giving the wolf a noogie.

"Hey, cut it out. You're not going to have your planned session with me later for that remark" Set replied to the lion.

"So be it. I'll just enjoy 'training' Anubis II" Ra laughed, ducking under the wolf's punch.

Paul walked the corridors with his "father" Anubis. While walking, both of them were deep in thought about the day's events. Neither wanted to read the other's mind, which would have been rude. It was Paul who spoke first.

"Why did your gauntlet bring me here? I do not have a drop of Egyptian blood in my veins" Paul asked of the god.

"It is because of the bond you formed with Horus' charge. I believe you remember Captain Ibrahim?" Anubis responded. At the nod of his son, he continued "When Horus' charge gave you the ankh pendant as a sign of friendship; he unwittingly bound the ankh to one of the pantheon. It could not have been Horus as he already had a charge. The ankh would choose randomly among the assembled gods and goddesses"

"So, you picked the short straw?" Paul responded, to the god's chagrin.

"In essence, yes. Though Set would have loved you just as well" Anubis replied.

"Really? He just doesn't strike me as the loving kind of parent. What I remember from Egyptian mythology is that you were enemies" Paul answered.

"We have had our squabbles in the past. Right now, we are more concerned with what to do with you" directing the question at Paul.

"Does my being human have a part in this?"

"You're not human. My gauntlet cannot be wielded by a human. It would drive them insane the moment they put it on. Not even your so-called Lycans can wield the gauntlet. You alone possess the will to overcome the whispers of power" Anubis said.

"What whispers? I hear nothing from the gauntlet. It feels like a glove that I can take off" Paul answered, proving his point when he undid the gauntlet from his right hand and handed it back to Anubis.

As Anubis accepted the gauntlet, he noticed that his son's right hand matched his own. Also, the fur was slowly creeping up the not quite human's arm. "Look at your right forearm. The changes have began"

Paul looked at his forearm and gasped. It was starting to blacken rapidly with the amount of adrenaline that was coursing throughout the man's body. Seemingly out of breath, Paul collapsed on the marble floor. Anubis picked his son up and made haste towards the healing room. There the jackal god sought the help of Isis and Sahkmet.

Both of the renowned healers were at a loss to do anything. With the rapid intake of breaths from Paul, the fur spread all over his body. The changes were not done yet.

Opening his amber eyes, Paul gasped as his face started to reform into a muzzle. His teeth sharpened to needle points, the tongue extending and wagging out of his face. His ears migrated to the top of his skull; the cartilage reforming into triangular points. By this time, his hands had become claws suited for tearing and rending. The first thing to be rent was the uniform and vest. Muscles that were only apparent after years spent as a SEAL suddenly expanded.

The abdominals were now prominent as they firmed up and resembled dinner rolls. Instead of the six-pack found on normal personnel, a toned eight-pack emerged. With the upper body almost done, a tail made itself known. Pressure built on the lower portion of Paul's spine. It was only a matter of time before the taut skin gave way.

Panting now, Paul was fighting the internal changes. A cool hand on his forehead made him look up. His father was gazing down on him. Stop fighting. Let the transformations finish before you wind up in too much pain.

Relaxing now, he allowed the transformation to finish. A tail erupted above his anus. The bony mass was rapidly covered by muscle, followed by skin, and lastly fur. The appendage wagged of its own accord expressing the feelings and emotions of the young jackal.

With the upper body complete, attention shifted towards the lower limbs. The muscles in the thighs doubled in size to support the extra mass on the upper body. Claws pierced the tough leather material of the combat boots as the feet lengthened and expanded. With a pop, the abused material fell off the changing feet. Velcro straps tore all along the jackal pup's body, releasing their materiel onto the floor of the ward.

The changes slowly subsided as the newly-transformed human came to terms with his new body. The mental wall he had built up to compensate for the intensities of SEAL training gave way. Normally, this mental barrier is supposed to filter out any emotional disturbance that could interfere with the mission. In Paul's case, it also stopped primal urges from coming to the surface. The barrier had weakened when the pendant was worn. It was still too strong for instinct to breach. With the addition of Anubis' gauntlet, the wall weakened considerably further. It was only as the transformation finished that the weakened wall shattered.

With an ear-splitting howl, the young jackal accepted his new fate. The energy coursing through his veins sang a different melody to the one he used to have. It told the birth of a new god.

Anubis and the other gods felt the excess energy wash over them. Depending on the sex of the god involved, the experience ranged from pleasurable to downright painful. The female goddesses experienced a mind-blowing orgasm as their insides slicked up without stimulation. The males experienced painful erections that no amount of masturbation could remove. Something was preventing them from finding release.

That something was Paul's own arousal. Anubis could only moan in frustration as his son's penis stood at full attention. A pair of heavy-set balls underneath kept expanding until these closely resembled grapefruits. The still human penis' shaft was now a staggering two feet in length. Its girth was another thing entirely, with sections nearer the base at five inches in diameter. Drops of pre made their way down the ebony shaft, making it glisten in the light.

Unable to control himself, Anubis marched over to his son's erect and throbbing member. He slowly licked his lips and spread his butt cheeks. Using the dripping pre as lubricant, he rode his son's throbbing erection in hope of getting release soon. With a little bit over two-thirds of the massive penis inside him, he hilted with still a good six inches of cock exposed in the air. Right now, it was as far as he got.

The warm walls surrounding the younger Anubis' shaft made him thrust upwards. With each thrust, the elder Anubis slid closer towards his son's base and throbbing knot. With one final thrust, the massive cock released a flood of cum. Without a knot to stem the tide, cum leaked out of Anubis's ass. The additional pressure on the elder god's prostate was too much. Seed literally exploded from his cock tip as he drenched his son with cum. Rope after sticky rope was fired into the elder Anubis as he replied in kind to his son. The elder Anubis' abdominals were replaced by a potbelly from all the cum.

As the genitals began to shrink, their job done; the younger Anubis opened his eyes. "That was better than all the blowjobs that White gave" he thought. It was about that time that he noticed a large amount of cum on his face, chest, abdomen and arms. A moan above him made him look at the adult Anubis. The elder version of him looked to be on cloud nine. As he made to pull out of his father's ass, he encountered resistance. Feeling his nether regions with his paw, he palpated a rather large knot buried into his father's backside. He would have to wait for the knot to subside before he pulled out.

In other areas of the gods' quarters, the other males were lying in pools of their own cum. The females were all passed out on the ground from the continuous orgasms they went through. Osiris was basking in the power of the new god's orgasm. Lacking any genitalia, these having been severed by Set, he just allowed the pleasure to give him the biggest high in his immortal life.

The younger Anubis' knot had deflated enough by this time to allow him to pull out of his father. As he did so, he noticed that his father's engorged belly shrank with each liter of seed expelled. Looking at his penis and scrotal sac, the young jackal felt amused. Instead of the canine cock he was expecting, the tip had retained its mushroom head. The shaft was a bit thick in places, but otherwise manageable. The color was now deep ebony instead of the human's pink. Besides the color, the knot at its base was of profound interest. What it was supposed to do, he would explore later. His balls still felt heavy even after that exquisite orgasm.

In truth, the moment the young jackal's cock stopped pumping cum; the balls were producing another batch.

Thinking of all the lewd things he could now do to White and Rush, he decided to clean the ward first. With a wave of his hand, cum and other fluids covering most of the place vanished. He left the three to their blissful sleep, but not before planting a kiss on his father's cheek.

"Time to visit Osiris", thought the young jackal. He had no idea that the energy he gave off had massive world-wide implications.

Lycan Quarters

As a wave of energy swept the base, the lycans not on duty were flattened in their quarters by their throbbing erections. Those on duty had to dash to the nearest bathroom or shower or even broom closets. It was there that they worked on trying to release their seed. As far as they knew, the source of the energy could wait. The most pressing issue was their members struggling against cloth confines.

Rush and White were no exceptions. They had gathered with Dr. Compton on trying to narrow down the source of the GPS signal when they were floored by their cocks stiffening. Rush was still in human form and he could control his erection somewhat. White, on the other hand, was having difficulty with his throbbing member. The way he was bent over the console, his cock was pressing itself against the metal sides and causing no small amount of pain to the werefox.

A second wave followed the first, quickly followed by a third. Most of the lycans blew their load at the second wave. White had still not, though he was dripping pre onto the sides of the equipment. Rush smelt the oncoming flood of semen and braced for it. With a yelp, White thrust forward and upward; coating both Dale and Rush. With Foley's release, McIntyre wasn't far behind. His cock strained some more against his pants before releasing his seed. The amount of seed he expelled was visible as a dark stain on his MARPAT pants.

Dale wiped his face free of most of the infective seed. Not being able to control himself, he licked his hand with which he wiped his face with. "Not half bad, actually" he announced to the room at large. He scooped what semen was on the face of the console and drank it all.

His change followed soon after. With the amount of cum he had ingested, his transformation was swift and almost painless.

Fur literally exploded from his body, coating his dorsal half brown and black. Tearing his lab coat off, he was amazed to see white belly fur on his ventral area. The small amount of fat he carried around his waist was burned off by the transformation. He could now boast of having a well-defined six-pack. His face stretched out to form muzzle as his nose blackened. With his newly enhanced sense of smell, he inhaled his own arousal.

His legs buckled as his feet shifted their stance. Bracing himself against the sturdy console, he watched his feet morph into paws. A sharp pain on his backside informed him of a tail nub. This soon sprouted into a furry tail with brown top, white bottom and brown tip. Wagging happily, he tore off what vestiges of clothing he had left. This meant his boxers.

Letting the aroused member out of its sheath, he sighed at the canine cock in front of him. He wanted to suck himself off and his flexible body let him do just that. Bending his top half forward, he could just taste the tip of his six-inch member. As it grew by six inches more, he could fit the tip and part of the shaft inside his gaping maw. With one thrust he came into his mouth, tasting his own seed. When he was done, he howled joyfully. The newborn wolf was overjoyed and ran to his packmates.

The pack within the base howled as one, scaring what humans had not been changed by the fountains of semen. Those humans who had ingested the semen, howled as well with the newfound acceptance they had sought.

Those who had not, continued with their daily routine as their fears subsided. However, they would no longer be bound to the old codes of conduct governing their former units. They were members of the Lycan Group and they WILL reign supreme!

Colonel Paul "Anubis" Schumann

A.S.R.O.C C-IN-C

I woke from the soft bed and stretched my arms out. I thought that I had imagined everything that had happened.

I yawned out and felt my jaws open wider than they usually do. As I touched my face, the sharp sensation of nails made me glance at my hands. Not only did my hands resemble those of a Lycan, they had those distinctive pads as well. There was an obstruction to my vision as well, yet I knew that this was my muzzle. There was no doubt about it; I was no longer the human I once was.

I made my way out of bed, my clawed toes clicking on the floor. Standing in front of a full-length mirror, I both admired and abhorred my new body. Now standing at a good ten feet, I approximated the height of the Anubis fellow from yesterday. I flexed some of my muscles and I was pleased that they were still functional. What made me abhor my new form was the promise I had given to the President. I had promised that "as long as I remain human, the rogue Lycans will never threaten our national security".

Scratching my head on my next options, I saw a glint overhead and rolled to the side. A dagger stuck itself into the floor, harmlessly. Closing my eyes, I felt the ambient energy around me. Threat above!

I rolled once more as I let loose the knife I kept with me for emergencies. A thud and a yelp confirmed I got my would-be attacker. There was also some chuckling. Scanning the ceiling, I saw Ra pinned to the wall. The chuckling came from Horus. The falcon landed beside me.

"Nice aim. I did tell him it would have been a bad idea to surprise you. How did you manage to avoid his attack, though? No one has yet been able to dodge one, let alone two" Horus asked.

"It's called radar. Most aircraft, ships and some vehicles are fitted with it. We use it to prevent encounters with or engage threats" I answered, smugly.

"Ah, I could use one of those since I'm out so often. Isis as well" the falcon god replied, walking Anubis the younger out the door.

"A little help here! I'm still stuck and I don't want to drop thirty feet down" Ra called out to the backs of the retreating gods. In response, the knife pulled free from Ra's shoulder and let the god drop thirty feet onto the soft mattress. The sudden drop led one unfortunate lion to scream before he vanished in an explosion of feathers when he made contact with the bed.

I met Lady Bast outside my room. Scratching her behind the ears as she lay on all fours, I was greeted by one of the loudest purrs from a cat. Since she refused to budge, I levitated her and proceeded to bring her to the dining area.

Opening the doors to the dining area, I noticed that Osiris was already there. "I was wondering if he was still sore from the hilting I gave him yesterday. And judging from the way he sat, that is a yes" I said to myself.

"Lord Osiris, pleasant morning to you" I greeted him, as I took the chair with my name on it. Osiris waved me over to sit by his right side, on Ra's chair no less. The moment I did, the names interchanged.

"Do I have your permission to return to the mortal plane? I have unfinished business there" I informed him softly.

"You can return after you spend some time training in the Hall of Time. Time is faster in there than on the mortal plane. Five days inside is equivalent to five hours" he replied, adjusting his position once more. Seeing his discomfort, I morphed his cushion into an inflatable dildo of steadily decreasing width. It was timed to return to a regular cushion when the anus shrank considerably enough.

"When do I begin?" I asked before I dug into my breakfast of steak, eggs and toast.

"In two hours, human time" Horus spoke, across from me.

"What is taking Apis and Set so long? They should have been here by now" Sahkmet complained. Maybe they are still having passionate sex, my lady? At her gasp, I knew what she would do next. How is it that you can read our minds easily, but we can't read yours?

That's not true, Lord Anubis can read mine.

He's your father. He should be able to. I also want to thank you for the wonderful orgasms yesterday.

How do you know it was me?

Because it was only with your arrival did all of us have such fun. And make such big mess. Could I have another?

Teach me battle moves and I'll give it to you.

Agreed, but Bast has to be along for the experience.

Watching our mental exchange, Bast cut in. "Mind sharing what the two of you are talking about? The rest of us would like to know your thoughts right now"

"Lady Sahkmet has agreed to train me in her style of battle, you are to come along as well and 'help' me" I sniggered.

The hostile look Bast shot Sahkmet was all the more entertaining to the rest of the table.

Rogue Lycan Units

Canid felt a massive energy pulse sweep throughout his pack. As it did so, his cock extended outward and began to drip pre. Try as he might; neither he nor the rest of the assembled pack could find release. As a second wave washed over them, he had no alternative but to thrust into the mouth of the nearest Lycan. As a third wave hit, the entire pack released their seed into the air, onto themselves or inside one another.

"Who is capable of such a thing?" Canid panted. He would meet the owner of said power when he struck once more. Right now, the only thing they could do was bask in the glow from their orgasms.

Emerald knew they would not win against the bearer of such power. Their best bet was to turn the owner into one of them and use the power to corrupt mankind. As he formulated a strategy to take down the human, little did he know that they would go up against a god.

Colonel Paul "Anubis" Schumann

A.S.R.O.C C-in-C

Dodging a blow from Bast, the young jackal slid fluidly under the cat goddess. When he reached the proper position, he swept the cat's feet out from under her. Quickly rolling to one side, he narrowly missed a swipe that would have inflicted lasting damage; if he were still human. Being what he now was, the demigod curved towards the cat goddess; striking her while she was still off-balance. Still compensating for the strike, Bast had no time to maneuver. The jackal's paw landed square on her jaw, letting her drop onto the floor.

As he stood over his defeated "enemy", Bast drew her hind paw underneath the jackal's package and kicked.

A howl of agony could be heard. It came not from the jackal, but from the cat goddess. The jackal merely smirked at the attempt to be attacked where it hurt the most. It was a low blow, sure; in a battle, the enemy does not play fair. In anticipation, he had cast a shield to block any attacks to that specific area.

Scooping up the yowling cat goddess in his arms, he plunged her into a bucket of ice-cold water. The effect was immediate. With a snap of his clawed fingers, he froze the goddess into an ice cube. As he stepped back to admire his handiwork, the sound of applause drew his attention.

There, hovering above, were Horus and Isis.

"Well done, young one. Bast won't like her icy prison one bit, though she really should cool off" Horus said.

"At least she won't ask for ice for the bruises she received today" Isis replied as she chuckled at her companion's fate.

"You might want to let her out. She might just curse you into the ground, Osiris' wishes notwithstanding" a new voice interrupted the light-hearted banter.

Turning toward the intruder, Anubis dropped into combat stance. With both glowing gauntlet and Bast's sai in his arsenal, the jackal could inflict serious damage on any attacker.

"You're still jumpy. You won't last a minute with Set" the figure said, as he lowered the hood. The prominent mane gave the identity of the character immediately. It was Ra.

"It's called being prepared, Ra. I thought you learned your lesson last month on how not to surprise me" Paul said, teasingly.

Ra winced at the thought. He was humiliated by a mortal in combat. Granted, the attack was unprovoked, but still! Shaking his furry head, as if to clear it, the lion god let the cloak fly into the jackal's face. When he assumed that the youngster was distracted, he charged into the space left by the cloak. Striking his sword into the place where the jackal stood, he heard the blade clang on the empty ground. Trying to feel his surrounding for the jackal, he was surprised to feel cold bronze against his neck.

"Try changing tactics. You use this one too often as you're opening move" Paul whispered into the lion's ear.

"No one has ever dodged it. You are still the only one who can survive indefinite strikes like that" the lion responded squeakily. "Mind letting go? My mane needs fixing" he added. The blade pushed inwards before the lion was set free.

Rubbing his neck, the lion summoned a mirror to look at the scar. There was none, it was just a red mark detailing the point where the blade had been embedded. Extending his right paw to the jackal, he opened it to show a tiny sword. When the jackal hesitated, he placed the paw into the jackal's own. Finished with his task, Ra left the chamber.

The jackal opened his palm to look at the gold sword. As with Bast's sai, the sword needed to draw blood from its new owner. Anubis the younger sliced his wrist with his sharp canines and allowed blood to drip onto the sword. The artifact glowed blue before enlarging to fill his palm perfectly.

"You now have three artifacts of power. Only four more to go" Osiris stated, as he appeared in the chamber. The three beings already inside knelt in front of the prime, except Bast who was still frozen.

"Rise young one, you are not yet ready to call me your lord. You still have to show the humans and rogues the true power of an Acolyte" Osiris said, placing his hand underneath the jackal's muzzle. Raising it, he stared into Anubis' amber eyes. "So different from the father, yet so similar in actions. Both jackals were incredibly hard to read, these days. No matter, soon it would make no difference" Osiris thought to himself.

"When can I return to the human world?" Paul muttered under his breath. He had read the thoughts forming in Osiris' mind. Not even the older Anubis could read the prime god's thoughts, so this was a new development.

If you're done thinking how different I am from my father, answer me this question. Why did you choose me of all the humans in the world?

The god stood slack-jawed at the query from the jackal. Interesting, you can read my thoughts as I think them. What else can you do?

If there was shock on the jackal's face, he hid it well. I can manipulate the elements to do my will and I can project a sensory signal. The signal reminds me of the electronic pulse we call radar. Any threats in my path are identified; I can deal with the threats if I choose or cloak myself and continue forward. I answered yours, it is time you answered mine.

While the two were talking mentally, both Horus and Isis looked up from their kneeling forms and tried to melt Bast free. When they were unsuccessful, they resorted to hacking at the ice with the weapons in the room. Still the ice thwarted them, with each piece of ice breaking off only to reform.

It was to this confounding scene that Set marched confidently in. "I'm here to train the pup. Everyone else, leave or face my wrath!" he announced. When no one took notice, he repeated his little introduction at a higher volume. When he was still ignored, he opened his mouth once more to shout it out. And was gagged by what appeared to be a ray of blue light, emanating from the jackal's gauntlet.

Very well, it was I and not your father who sent the gauntlet. The tablet was supposed to explain what you truly were. Since you did not read it, I assumed you knew. At the incredulous mental image of the jackal, Osiris continued. This might make you power-hungry.

You are the embodiment of all of us, it is the sole conclusion that I can come up with. The ability to control the four elements is Sahkmet's ability. That is her weapon. Bast is good with deception. Anubis is able to bring back life to a corpse provided the body is still intact. Ra is known for courage and force. Horus's skill is with wisdom and diplomacy. Thoth is blessed with knowledge. Isis is a good healer. Set is violent and brash. Apis is known for striking with brute force and extreme hard-headedness. There is no dissuading him when he wants something. I am supposed to be a neutral person, taking no sides in any conflict. Yet I can't help but fawn over you and your progress so far.

All of us feel that you should not return to the mortal realm. We believe that in doing so, you will destroy it.

So what do you think of me now? The jackal asked, feeling twinges of alarm from the attacks on the ice construct.

You are just a pup in our eyes, too young to understand the rules of the land. It is with a heavy heart that I ask you to stay here. Both humans and the rogues will try to use you for their own gain. We cannot stop you if you really want to return. It is your choice. Osiris ended his spiel with a sigh. The elder god hoped against hope that the message got across.

I cannot stay here and watch the unit I helped create be torn apart by ill-timed political winds. I must return and restore order to my pack and my duties. When I am done on the mortal plane, I will return here. Paul answered the elder.

Talk to Thoth when you finish sparring with Set. He will allow you to return to your realm.

Farewell,... my ...son. Osiris finished with a heavy heart. He had a feeling that Anubis Schumann's return would only stir up more conflict.

As Set was being held ten meters in the air by the blue light, the sudden dissolution of the ray caused him to fall flat on his back. The ice sculpture imprisoning Bast shattered as Anubis Schumann retracted the power keeping it intact. With a gleam in his amber eyes, the young jackal turned towards the stunned wolf.

"Shall we begin, uncle?" Anubis grinned at his pained instructor.

It was with a shudder that Set knew he would be in for a severe ass-whipping.

Colonel Paul "Anubis" Schumann's empty quarters

A ball of yellow light appeared in the center of the dark, well-kept room. Slowly, it split into a portal connecting the netherworld to the mortal realm. Out of this shimmering portal stepped a ten-foot tall black jackal. If not for the uniform it was wearing, anyone entering would have assumed that Lord Anubis himself had come to exact judgment on the world.

As the figure stepped out, a furred hand held him by the shoulder. The figure placed its own hand on top of this and gave a slight tap. The hand withdrew and the portal closed behind the figure, disappearing with a flash of green light.

"I'm finally home" breathed the jackal in a deep baritone. It was amazing that his room had not been left to gather dust. As he sat on the bed at the right-hand side of the room, the mattress creaked under his weight. Lying down, he was not surprised that his legs were left dangling off the edge. After having undergone a growth spurt that left him four feet taller, he had to adjust the clothes magically. Inhaling the ambient air, he picked up a long-forgotten scent. A mate. HIS mate.

Colonel Anubis Schumann had left the immortal realm for the mortal one not more than fifteen minutes ago. In so doing, he bade goodbye to his immortal uncles and aunts. With only five of the seven artifact pieces, the armor and weapons he had brought on his person were not so powerful. It was still sufficient, however, to bring a certain rogue back into the folds.

Looking around the tiny room, the jackal demigod waved a hand and enlarged the space a thousand fold. Releasing the pent-up energy took some time; he did not want to alert the base to his presence. Not yet, at the least. Closing his eyes, the former human reached into every dreaming person's subconscious. Heeding the words of his elder, he did not tamper with the free will duly placed on them. Instead, he opted to give them the best sleep they would ever experience in their finite life.

Gathering the threads of sleep around him, he manipulated individual strands until he found the result that pleased him most. Adding some magic into the mix, he returned the threads to their respective owners. When the base woke, they would be changed in more ways than one. It was with this thought that the demigod began rearranging the furniture to suit him.

Captain Neil Edward "Nex" Canis

The captain woke from the freshest sleep he had in a while. As he stretched his arms out, he found that there seemed to be another pair of arms on his back. Rolling his shoulders, he felt a paired muscle group expand and contract. When he took off the eye shade he used to fall asleep, he was astonished to see that his nails had blackened and formed points. Not only that, but he could see quite well in the semi-gloom of his room.

Attributing the changes to the stress he was under, he got out of the bed and went to grab his slippers. To his amazement, he was coated in white fur from head to toe. Moving quickly towards the mirror in the bathroom, he flicked on the light and was temporarily blinded. As his pupils adjusted to the light, the form staring back at him was a blue-eyed, white-furred, white-winged wolf. It was what he had always dreamed himself to be and it had come true! As he explored himself further, his boxers seemed to be rather tight. Taking these off, he saw that he had an ample sheath and heavy scrotal sac. Cupping his equipment, he gave a soft growl of pleasure. Admiring himself in the mirror, he felt a pressure on his mind. Pushing back, he sensed the source of his transformation. It was simultaneously amused and adoring.

Stretching his wings, the soldier was told by the mental presence that the wingspan was three feet long. Thanking the presence thoroughly, the newborn lycan submitted himself to the source's will. Inwardly, the captain wanted to show off his new form to the entire base. It was only a tinge of shame that prevented him from doing so. The solution would be forthcoming.

Staff Sergeant Stuart "Stu" MacMahon

Simultaneously with the transformation undergone by Captain Canis, Stu woke to feel his muscles all tensed up. As he made to adjust his six-foot two-inch figure, the sound of tearing fabric jolted the SAS awake. Checking himself for any bites, scratches or claw marks, the human was relieved that he was just dreaming. As the sounds intensified and seemed to fill the entire NCO quarters, Stu was reliving the nightmare of his camping trip in the Scottish moors just two weeks prior.

Last March 11th, he and Corporal Elliot were hiking through the woods outside Baskerville manor. As they made their way towards the stream where they would pitch their tent, the corporal leaned against one of the trees. Elliot seemed out of breath and was panting like an exhausted dog. As Stu made his way over, a full moon appeared out of a cloud bank. The corporal had bent over in agony as he was illuminated in the light. The transformation looked excruciating. The man-dog hybrid had torn his hiking clothes off leaving just a pair of boxers to cover his modesty, ample amounts of fur covering every exposed surface. When Elliott fixed his amber eyes on him, Stu ran as fast as he could into the manor. He had never imagined that his squad mate of the past eleven years was a creature straight out of mythology.

It was at that moment that a woof made him bolt straight up. Directly in front of him was the same hybrid as the one Elliot had turned into! Could history be repeating itself? As the sergeant's mind went blank, he collapsed into the Golden Retriever's arms.

When the sergeant came to, the weredog was just holding him in its arms. The dog bent down and sniffed Stu's ginger hair. Thinking that the intention was to think he was edible, Stu tried to break the weredog's grip. As Stu struggled to get free, the hybrid whimpered and drew him in closer. The amber eyes held no malice, only sadness. It was that expression that sent him back down memory lane.

Thinking quickly, Stu had unslung his silenced G36 from his shoulder and aimed at the weredog. He did not remember telling the hybrid to stop in his approach, just that he depressed the trigger. When the gun locked on an empty chamber, the weredog was gone. The gunshots drew the attention of the watch dogs stationed on the manor grounds. As they growled at him, the weredog had leaped onto the wall behind Stu and growled in response; scaring the dogs off. He had blacked out against the stone wall, only waking when the groundskeeper had come around the following morning. By that time, Elliot was gone.

Upon returning to Fort Innsbruck the next day, he learned that Elliot had asked for a transfer. He had pressed the corporal for a forwarding address. He received a curt "so you can shoot at me once more?" as the corporal packed his things and departed the base.

Tears welled up in the sergeant's eyes as he realized what he had done. He hugged the Golden back and was relieved that his hug was returned. Now that he had accepted what Elliot truly was, he found himself happier as well. As the weredog howled, he found himself agreeing with the sentiment expressed.

Captain Maleek "Rush" McIntyre

Upon the advice of Dale Compton, Rush had taken a sedative before heading to bed. When he woke, he was feeling well-rested and refreshed. As he tried to work the kinks out of his muscles, his forehead brushed against a furred chest. Believing it was White, he raised his head to apologize for sleeping on the werefox. What he saw brought him to full consciousness.

On the bed beside him was a ten foot tall black jackal. Said jackal was stroking himself and paid no attention to the newly awakened werewolf. The amount of musk given off made the submissive wolf light-headed. As he made to grab the massive cock, a strong hand stopped him. The jackal was looking straight into his eyes.

When the jackal nodded his head, Rush took the massive cock in his jaws. Because of its size, the wolf was having difficulty swallowing it in his human form. The jackal seemed to understand his predicament and shrank himself down to seven feet. The jackal's cock also became smaller so it would fit into the human mouth. From the exceedingly bulky two feet, it was now down to fifteen inches. Still, even at reduced size, it would be quite the mouthful.

Licking his lips, the wolf went down onto the cock as if his life depended on it. Shifting form to his hybrid state, Rush was able to take the entire meat down his throat.

Lieutenant Colonel Raymond "White/Blanc" Foley

I found myself running through a forested area in my hybrid form. It resembled the pine forests in Washington State, yet the climate was colder than usual. I came to a halt outside a cave. As I peered inside, I saw the rogue pack. They seemed unaware of my presence, allowing me to approach within hailing distance. The closer I crept towards them, the more my heart began to race. When I was almost on top of them, I saw Canid turn and face me. His eyes were cold and carried no warmth.

I held my breath as I waited for him to speak. As I did so, a strange feeling overtook me. I wanted to kill the impudent whelp in front of me, just for living. Holding the feeling back took a lot of my self-control, the effort was tiring me out. Behind my former alpha, I saw that Canid had been busy recruiting more humans by force. Most of the core units that escaped with him had been given the primary task of enslaving more humans to the lycan cause.

I could not stand by any longer as the human race, the race I swore to protect, were turned into mindless drones by the protégé Sage and I once thought of as a son. Howling in protest, I charged at Canid. He made a determined effort to defend himself from the surprise strike. I bit into his shoulder while he slashed at my face. The pain from the slash made me release my grip on his shoulder. Seeing it as a moment of weakness, Canid picked me up and hurled me outside the cavern. I was thrown against a boulder that knocked the wind out of me. Trying to get to my feet, I was shoved into a tree by the furious Alpha.

"You dare go against me! I, who allowed you to be spared the fate of your comrades!" he yelled at me, picking me up and throwing me against another tree. This caused some of the pine needles to fall off.

"You're no longer sticking with what you told us. You only wanted power. That I cannot abide!" I replied as I charged at him, knocking him to the ground.

Pinning me with his body, he whispered maliciously into my ear. "Is this because I smell the scent of another Alpha? Have you decided to abandon me for another?"

"I abandoned no one. You left me to my fate" I roared as I strove to kick my way free from under him.

"Struggle all you like. There is no escaping the pack" Canid replied as he howled for the rest of the pack to join him.

Come to me my brothers! Watch as I dispatch the traitor within our midst. Know that the humans will seek to use you against your own kind.

It was as I feared; the calm always came before the storm. At least I would die with my honor intact...

"Let him go, mortal. You are underestimating the pain I will put you through for his death" a new voice sounded out.

Canid dropped me and snarled at the newcomer. "What are you going to do to me? I can't die"

"By normal means, yes. However, there is nothing impossible for me. If I was you, I'd back off right now" the newcomer said, enforcing his will by driving the rogues back with some invisible force.

"This isn't over" Canid snarled before retreating back into the woods.

"On the contrary, it is only just beginning..." the stranger said as he vanished in a burst of light.

I woke up with all my muscles stiff. For some reason, I felt as if I truly fought with Canid. When I got off my bed, the mattress did not spring up with its characteristic creaking. I felt my blood chill. There was someone here, someone neither human or Lycan. And it felt like he was behind me. I did not know why I believed it was a male. My instinct just told me it was so.

Slowly, I turned around. My heart seemed to stop as I gazed at the creature before me. "What are you?" I thought.

Why I am a friend of yours. I believe that you were looking for me a few days ago. Tell me why it concerned you to look for me?

Impossible, did the thing just use telepathy on me?

I most surely did White. I'm in Rush's room now, getting some sexual relief. This is one advantage of being a god. I can be in different places at once. I am not that sorry though for intruding in your dream.

I gasped out; "It was you who stopped Canid from killing me" The idea that this god stopped a lycan from killing another of his own, even in a dream, was ludicrous. At least that was what it seemed initially.

"Who are you, really?"

"I am Colonel Paul Anubis Schumann. My heritage has been revealed to me and there is no stopping my wrath. If Canid harms one member of the Task Force, be it human or Lycan; he can expect that I will multiply his punishment by a thousand times." Colonel Schumann said both mentally and vocally.

An overriding feeling came over White. His will was left untouched, which was surprising. The werefox could actually feel the power radiating off the jackal. If the jackal in front of him so wished, he would run around the streets of Washington in his hybrid form. NAKED.

This feeling was different from the dominating presence of Canid. This one was more of acceptance, and protection. It was in the jackal god's presence that White felt at peace.

Anubis could not believe his eyes. His father was telling him not to push his power directly into the Lycan in front of him. He had followed his father's advice, only allowing a small portion of the enormous reserves to "leak". Anubis was more than pleased that White had accepted his role within the Pack hierarchy.

Although, he may have overdid it. The look on the werefox's face resembled that of someone who went through multiple orgasms. No matter, he did not remove the free will of his friend. What White did was completely under his control.

Captain Maleek "Rush" McIntyre's Quarters

The room was a mess.

The bed was torn asunder and was heavily soaked with semen. You could squeeze the mattress and milk out body fluids. That's how soaked it was.

In the middle of it all was an amused jackal demigod. When he had allowed his XO to suck on him, he had inkling where it would be headed. He never imagined it would involve wrecking the office and attached areas.

The moment Rush had shifted into his wolf form, Anubis thrust into his officer. Pulling his cock all the way out of the wolf's throat, he slid it back in with practiced ease. The wolf was enjoying the sensation of having oral sex with the jackal god that he never noticed a pair of hands grip his own stiffening penis.

Seeing that his mate was distracted, Paul began to stroke his partner's seven and a half inch cock. Infusing a small amount of magic with each stroke, he kept his wolf on the verge of ecstasy. After around an hour of play, he knew he would have to end this soon. Paul felt his scrotum pull closer to his body. Giving a howl of pleasure, the demigod came into Rush's waiting maw.

Rush was sucking and teasing the cock for all he was worth. He had been rewarded when a jet of pre was shot into his mouth. This preemptive shot was making him yearn for the seed that lay within the heavy set of balls hanging underneath the jackal. Intensifying his sucking, he knew that the being in front of him was somewhat close as well to actually cumming.

When Paul howled, he had shoved the rest of his cock down the wolf's throat. In Rush's throat, something akin to a fire hose was going off. Thick, creamy cum was ejected from the jackal's member and shot down the wolf's throat. Unable to keep up with the flow, Rush had gagged at first.

Paul laid a hand on the choking wolf and expanded the esophageal tract. Pushing a little more forward, his cock made headway into the stomach. The tip was just inside as he continued to fuck the little wolf. Hot, white seed flowed into the stomach; distending it slightly. As the flow became a trickle, the demigod pulled out of his wolf. It was now Paul's turn to suck on the wolf's engorged cock. He had intentionally not allowed the wolf to cum; he wanted to suck this one off himself. Positioning himself properly, he started by coating the canine member with saliva. When he had licked most of the salty-sweet pre off, he got down to the real job of making the wolf release.

Nibbling at the furry sack, Paul was able to hear Rush moan in ecstasy as his sac was played and fondled. The engorged knot at the base showed just how close Rush actually was if Paul had not halted the release. Only the cessation of the binding spell would allow the wolf to release at any rate. Picking his moment carefully, Paul closed his entire muzzle around the cock; then released the binding spell. Rope after sticky rope coated the inside of his muzzle; he swallowed the entire amount released from the wolf. When the amount of cum available ran out, Paul lay his subordinate on one of the unsullied furniture and left the living quarters.

He had work to do...
