Athest saw the white Dragon every night he had a dream. Sometimes the Dragon just looked at him in silence, but sometimes it roared at him and build itself up in front of him. It´s icy blue eyes always staring at him.
In the cave, where this dragon lived it´s parents were taking care of it. Looking after it, bringing it food and helped with the hunt for it´s own meal. And this little dragon was talented as hell.
The whiteness of it's body was rare, and never a good omen. Every 400 years a white dragon will be born and will bring chaos and catastrophes to their race. The last time a white dragon was born it almost destroyed the Dragons. So, the dragon parents were worried, and called the Phoenix.
Athest in the meanwhile was at his home with his parents, doing some work on the fields. The spring came slowly and he could smell that. This fresh ground when he worked on it, the new growing grass and it's scent. All those noises from the animals, shouting around, anting to impregnate the females. In this moment Athest cut some wood for the oven which would be on in the next nights to heat the house up, while some men with horses came, warriors with amour and swords. Looking proud and searching.
Athests father came out. "What can I help you with misters?" He asked them, rubbing his hands together.
"We search someone called Athest Nox. You know him?" One of the men said in a deep voice. "Yes, he's my son. What do you want from him.?" Athest who heard his name several times came around the house. "I heard my name?" He asked as he saw the warriors and gulped, calling back the memory what the druid said to him_. "But you have to go and be a Warrior.. Some men will come and will ask you to come with them to be a warrior, a knight. Go with them it will be your career."_ He said. "Ahh, young man. Its an honour to meet you." One of the warriors said and nodded politely. "We came to take you with us, to the Kings palace for your Knight training. " He said, also dawn, Athests mother came and heard the last words and started crying. "No!! Not my dear son!!!" She shouted and hugged Athest. "Why do you want to take my soon with you? Do you have any.. Papers with you for that?" His father asked and one of the warriors took out a role and Arkon took it to read it.
"It´s true. The king ordered it. We are allowed to come with him. If we want, Dawn. He won't be alone then what do you say?" He asked as he looked to his wife and his son who looked a bit surprised. "But, Arkon..." She just said and Athest moved out of her arms. "No mother, father.. I don't want that you come with me.. I always will worry then. But in the palace you are safer.. And when I am finished with my training.. I will go out to help the kingdom.. " he said and hold his mother by her shoulders. "I am okay that you come with me. But what is with the house?" He asked and looked to is father. "Well.. we need to sell it, then we buy a house in the village of the palace. And I work there. " He said and Dawn smiled. "Yes!" that's a good idea!" She was excited and smiled.
Some days later Athest was in the palace, already started his Training and was very good with the Sword. His body was toned from before but he could tell that his muscles went stronger and stronger.
The white dragon, was really active and loved the nature. "Sarzas, we can't let it go out that much... What when the humans find it and kill it?" The female black dragon said to her partner. "Don't worry Siza, we will protect our child..." He said and nuzzled her head gently. Now it was clear, it was a female.
"What should we name her..?" Sarzas asked his partner, Siza. "Hm.. I don´t know..." She said and snuggles her head to his throat.
All rights belong to me, the character Siza, Sarzas and the little baby dragon belong to me, Athest Nox belongs to Athest Nox!
