Cuboned by Love
Notes for reader: There are no super yiffy parts in the first three chapters, as I'm trying to write a story with a little bit more of character development. Perspective switches will occur periodically that change between pokémon and human understandings."You don't know what it's like being me! You think this fur just automatically keeps itself in this condition?! Nuh uh! You have no idea how much time and effort I put into it!" A well groomed Vulpix barks at her less than well-kept, scruffy furred Eevee friend; the two young females having somewhat of an on-going rivalry and bickering about this and that as they usually did. "Well maybe if you didn't spend so much time maintaining your fur then you'd actually be able to beat me in battle for once! You think I was just born with this talent and skill?! It's called training! Try it once in a while!" Eevee rebuttals to the slightly larger fire-fox pokémon; the more determined vixen always seeming to just barely beat her in every battle they've ever had together and only losing a few times. "And you think that once I evolve that you will even come close to matching my combat abilities at all?! Ha! You do realize that your fire attacks have been carrying you this whole time right?! Even if I become a Leafeon I'd still be able to beat you! I'm sure of it!" "Hmmph!" Vulpix grunts an annoying reply; knowing there's a hint of truth behind what she's saying.
* * * * Perspective-Switch: Human * * * * * "Vul vul, vulpix vul vulpix!" "Eevee vee vee, eevee vee! Vee eevee vee!" "Vul!" A male trainer hides behind a nearby bush, watching two of his absolute favorite kind of pokémon argue about something in their poké speech in the middle of a grassy clearing, a serene view and welcomed new bit of terrain compared to the seemingly endless forest he has been traveling through. "Distracted... Perfect..." He whispers to himself; right hand slowly trailing down to his belt to grip the only pokéball attached there. Clicking the button to enlarge the technologically advanced pokémon holding container, the trainer sees his opportunity and takes it. "Go, Cubone!" He shouts while throwing his pokéball towards the two vulpine pokémon, the red and white sphere then hitting the floor and opening to reveal a Cubone in a flash of white light. "Cubone bone, bone! Cubone!" The small and sorrowful saurian pokémon strikes a pose and then barks at the two furry quadruped pokémon before her; left leg raised slightly off the ground as she balances on just her right foot and does some strange pose, her trademark bone-club was clutched firmly within her right hand and held high in the air above her head intimidatingly.
* * * * Perspective-Switch: Pokémon * * * * "All who
oppose my trainer will be vanquished! Prepare to get clubbed!" The Cubone exclaims, Vulpix and Eevee not looking the least bit worried as they stare at the strange pokémon for a moment, and then turn their heads back towards each other instead. "Vanquished?" Eevee asks her friend. "Clubbed?" Vulpix replies shortly after. Suddenly both of the wild female fox pokémon burst into laughter; never before encountering such an odd looking and acting pokémon. Thunk With a loud whack, Vulpix is hit upside the head with the blunt end of Cubone's club; Eevee watching in horror as her friend falls over unconscious after being hit by a super effective ground attack. "What the Muck?!" Eevee barks before then quickly jumping backwards and away from Vulpix and further from the Cubone to stand facing her in a defensive stance. Before Eevee can so much as gain her bearings and assess how to go about fighting back, she notices the Cubone's club now air born and spinning towards her. Freezing up for a moment in fear, the lower level, less experienced pokémon is hit square on the center of her forehead with a bonemerang attack; Eevee's eyes rolling to the back of her head as she's one hit K.O.'d as well now, fainting and collapsing to the ground to join Vulpix in being defeated.
* * * * Perspective-Switch: Human * * * *
"Pokéballs, go!" The trainer yells, quickly hurling two pokéballs towards a weakened Vulpix and Eevee; the two red and blue spheres hitting their bodies before opening and sucking them inside in a flash of white light. With no struggle whatsoever, both pokéballs shake twice before settling with a distinct low pitched tone, signifying a successful capture. Giddy with happiness the trainer rushes over to his Cubone to kneel down behind her and wrap his arms around her chest to hug her. "I love you so much, Cubone! You're the best!" "Bone cue..." She replies happily, placing both her forepaws on top of her trainers and closing her eyes; her skull helmet hiding a light blush. "Let's examine our two new friends a bit, yeah?" He says before leaving Cubone's touch to quickly gather up his two newly occupied pokéballs. "Go, Vulpix and Eevee!" He yells needlessly as he releases them, the two quickly materializing on the ground before him still unconscious. Shuffling over to the back side of both fox pokémon's prone bodies, the trainer bends over to gently lift up the brown fluffy white tipped tail of Eevee with his right hand and reveal a tiny little genital slit and tail hole, and then repeats the process by raising the two center red furred curly tails of Vulpix as well. "Both female!" He exclaims excitedly as he gathers them both up to hold them in either of his arms and hug them against his chest. "Vul... Vulpix?" Vulpix groggily speaks.
* * * * Perspective-Switch: Pokémon * * * * "Wha-- What happened?" The young six-tailed vixen asks while dangling in the arms of yet another strange, large, pink and fleshy pokémon she had never seen before; used to only seeing ones covered in fur or feathers. Looking over to see Eevee unconscious next to her, Vulpix begins to get worried. 'Right... I was hit hard by something... By that weird pokémon's bone thingy... How did it manage to beat Eevee too though?!' Vulpix thinks to herself. Gently placing Eevee's limp body down onto the ground to hold just Vulpix, the trainer faces her towards him and lifts her high into the air with both hands underneath her forlegs to further examine her. "You are just soooo cute!" He exclaims with excitement. "What kind of non-sense language is that?! Didn't your mother ever teach you proper poké speech?!" Vulpix barks angrily in response; priding herself on her perfect pronunciations of the language and not being able to understand anything this creature was saying whatsoever. "He can't speak pokémon, he's a human. You will learn his language in time, or at least be able to pick up on some of the more important words and body gestures. The one he has just given you now is a sign praise and affection, you should be
thankful." Cubone speaks up to explains as she walks over to her trainer's side, blushing profusely in jealousy as she watches her trainer excitedly lift Vulpix up and down; embarrassing emotions once again visible to none as they are masked by her skull helmet. 'Human...? Trainer...?' Vulpix questions the words in her mind as she thinks back to when she was just a cub being explained the dangers of human pokémon trainers, and suddenly realizes what has happened here, and that she's been caught by this person. "Bo... Bone!" Eevee mumbles as she wakes up a bit confused, re-living that last moment before she was struck.
* * * * Perspective-Switch: Human * * * * "Vee... Eevee!" "Oh, are you awake too girl?!" The trainer says happily, and then carefully sets Vulpix down to pick Eevee up by the upper chest just underneath the base of her forelegs before raising her high into the air as well now to get a good look at her. "So adorable!" "Vee Eevee! Eevee vee, Eevee!" She barks back at him, kicking her hind legs around in protest. "This one has a bit of an attitude I think Cubone!" He chuckles, then lets her down on the ground to join Vulpix in sitting there and staring up at him with her head cocked the toe side curiously. Walking around to the back of Vulpix and Eevee, Cubone wraps her arms around either of their necks from behind in a playful manner. "Cubone cue cubone!" * * * * Perspective-Switch: Pokémon * * * * "We're going to be the best of friends!" Cubone tells them as she embraces them happily, Eevee and Vulpix looking at each other hesitantly.
