Anyways, Story:

**

A week later there was a knock on my door. I looked up at my mom as opened the door slowly and stepped inside, smiling at me gently as she entered. "How are you feeling?"

"Fine," I said, sniffling and wiping my eyes. I had just gotten over another crying fit, which I had been having ever since I was forced out by that stupid wolf.

"There's someone here to see you," my mom said hesitantly, "if you want to see him, that is."

"Who?" I croaked, my voice hoarse from disuse and crying.

My mother stepped aside, revealing the small fox who had been previously hiding behind her. "Hey." Nathan said softly, looking towards me but not quite at me."

"Hey," I said, sitting up and then looking down at my lap. Nathan came into my room and sat down on my bed a little awkwardly, still not making eye contact with me.

"Umm," my mom said, her voice awkward as well. "I think I'll leave you two alone."

She closed my door, and when it clicked shut I looked at Nathan. Now he was looking back at me, and he looked like he was evaluating me. It looked a lot like the look he had given me that first day, except this one seemed to be searching for something a bit more.

"So," I said, rubbing my nose, "whatchya want?"

"To talk." Nathan said.

"About what?" I asked him.

He looked down at his paws and twiddled his thumbs as he thought. "You're really a werewolf?" he asked, looking at back up at me.

"Yeah," I said, "I wouldn't have been avoiding you for the past week if I wasn't."

"Alan..." he said, "do you really think I care?"

I stared at him for a second and then nodded slowly, "Yeah," I said, "I do." I hesitated for a second before adding in, "If I didn't I wouldn't have been avoiding you."

He scooted closer to me and he reached out and took my paw. "Alan," he said, moving closer to me and then forcing himself under my arm and leaning his head onto my chest, "you're the only person in a long time who's met me and not felt disgusted by me. I accept you just as much as you accept me."

"This is different," I said, looking down.

"How is it different?" he asked me.

"It just... is." I said.

He reached up and took my chin in his paws and forced me to look at him, "It's not any different Alan." He said, "the only difference is that you didn't choose to be a werewolf. I don't care that you're a werewolf, get it through your thick skull."

I looked into Nathan's eyes, and all the feelings that had come up in the past week rushed to the surface. I reached up and took Nathan's chin in my paw and moved my head in slowly. I pressed my lips softly to his. Not a passionate kiss, just a simple peck on the lips, but I think it got my point across well enough.

When I pulled back I dropped my paw from his chin and blushed, looking down at my lap. "Thought you weren't gay," he said, leaning into me more.

"I wasn't," I said, leaning my head down and nuzzling his neck, "until I realized just how much I want to be."

It seemed like he was struggling for a second and then he giggled and said, "Awww. You're so sweet."

I smiled at him and bumped my head against his gently and said, "I've missed you so much this past week."

"I've missed you too," he said, nuzzling at the bottom of my chin.

For about five minutes we just sat there, him leaning against me and rubbing his head against my chin with my arm resting around his shoulders, much like we did before he found out I was a werewolf. "So..." he said, "What does this mean for us?"

"I don't know," I said slowly as I looked down at him, "I mean, if you want... I guess we're a couple."

"Is it really that easy?" he asked me, looking up at me with tears in his eyes, "Just... say we're a couple and suddenly we're boyfriends?"

"Why are you crying?" I asked him, rubbing my thumb over his eyes and wiping away his tears.

"I'm happy," he said, looking up at me, "I've wanted this ever since that first time you let me sleep cuddled up against you, and before this I thought it would never happen, and now it's happening."

I smiled at him and leaned down, kissing him softly again, "I think I've wanted it too," I said. He pressed himself harder into me and I squeezed him. I held for a minute before nuzzling behind one of his ears. "What are they saying about me at school?"

"Nothing much," he said. "After the first day the guy who originally told got his ass kicked by a couple girls."

"Why's that?" I asked him, tilting my head as I looked down at him.

He grinned and said, "They said, and I quote, that you were the best guy in school to look at. They think you're going to move."

"Really?" I asked him, "They think I'm the best guy to look at?"

He nodded his head and moved his nose to my chin and nuzzled me, "And they aren't the only ones."

I grinned at him and shook my head. "Is it weird how everything got back to normal so fast?"

"Not really," Nathan said, still nuzzling at my neck. "I mean, it's only been a week, and I never had a problem with it in the first place. I was just a little shocked."

I sighed and said, "For you that might have been, but I've been crying all week."

"All week?" he said, "Really?"

I nodded my head, looking down. "I thought you wouldn't want to hang out with me." I turned my head away a little bit and Nathan laughed.

"Alan," he kissed me softly on the cheek, "there is nothing in the world that can make me want to stop hanging out with you."

"Really?" I asked him, turning to face him and pulling him from my side onto my chest.

He grinned and then rested his head on my neck, "Yep." He said. "There's absolutely nothing that would make me want to stop hanging out with you."

I smiled at Nathan and licked the top of his head, "Nathan, it may be a little early to say, but..."

"But what?" he asked, finally stopping his nuzzling.

"I think I love you," I said, bumping my forehead against his again.

He grinned and said, "I think I love you too." He patted my back kissed me softly on the lips before pulling back and collapsing backwards with a sigh.

"What?" I asked him, scratching behind his ear.

"This is all happening so fast," he said, bringing his paws up to his head. "I've wanted this for months, and now that it's finally happening I just can't comprehend it."

"Then don't," I murmured softly, moving in to kiss his neck but he pushed me away gently.

"Alan, hun," he said, "I need time to think it out. Please."

"Are you saying no to being my boyfriend?" I asked him, my heart arte speeding up a bit.

"No!" He said quickly.

"Oh good," I said, putting my paw on my chest, "you scared me for a second."

He pressed his paw to my chest and pressed his cheek gently against mine, "I just want to take it slower than this."

"What can I do and what can't I do?" I asked him, pulling him tighter against me.

He giggled and said, "This you can do, that's for sure. Umm... I don't want to kiss yet."

"Ok," I said pressing my cheek against his, "What about this?"

"Murf," he said, "you can definitely do this."

I grinned. "You're so cute."

"Mmhmm," he said. I looked at him and his eyes were closed.

"Enjoying this?" I asked him.

"How can I not?" he asked me, looking at me with a soft smile on his face.

I reached up with my paw and put a finger to the top of his cheekbone, tracing it down to his chin with my claw and smiling. "I think it's time I got out of my room," I told him with a grin. "The only time I've left here this week is to go to the bathroom."

Nathan sniffed and then said, "Oh, so that's why you smell."
