Summer Vacation By Alvin1_1

This is my first attempt at writing a fan fic... hope ya like it. Feedback is appreciated.

Chapter one - Lost in a daydream... One too many times.

3o minutes. That was all that remained of the last day of school for the year. Though most of the year went by fast, this last week felt like it would never end. Today was the worst day by far. He had already been called out at least a dozen times for day dreaming in class and forgotten his lunch at home. Luckily for him though he had the same lunch time as his brothers and was able to get a little food from them.

As his teacher went over their last little review for the year he started to daydream again. He had so many plans for this summer. Camping with his family, going out on a few dates with his girlfriend, hanging out with his brothers and even a few concerts. The one thing he looked forwards to the most was hanging out with his brothers. Though he still shares a room with them and sees them every day they have been so busy lately he hasnt gotten to spend much time with them.

His mind started to wander a little further, he now had a glazed look upon his face. Thoughts of the up coming camping trip were swimming through his head. This year was the first time he would only have to share a tent with one of his brothers. Not that he rely minded having to share with both of them, he actually loved doing so. But Theodore had decided he wanted to sleep in Dave's tent this year. This gave him and Simon the opportunity to do something they hadn't been able to do before. They would still be sharing a tent but it would be just the two of them. For as long as he could remember they always slept in the same room or tent.

15 minutes was all that remained of the school year. Though he no longer had any idea of what time it was, nor did he really care he could feel the end of the day getting closer. His mind started to wander now towards his girlfriend. He had always wanted to spend more time with her. If he was lucky enough to convince Dave to allow him, he would invite his girlfriend to come with them to go camping. Possibly even try to get to share a tent with her, though he doubted that Dave would allow this at all. He tried this the last time they went camping and it did not work out well at all. Dave let her come but her sisters had to come as well. The whole trip he tried to get some alone time with her but failed. Every time they found a quiet spot to sit and talk they got interrupted.

5 Minutes left. The day being almost over the teacher decided to let the kids talk amongst themselves, noticing that once again Alvin is off in his own little world. Figuring it wasn't worth the time she didn't even bother to wake him again. He was now completely lost in his daydream. Maybe just maybe if he only could talk Dave into letting her come with, just her this time. He might even get to mate with her if he was lucky enough. He had planned on trying to get enough alone time with her this time to try his luck. They had already played around a few times but never did much of anything. There was always the risk of getting caught. They already had the pleasure of getting caught by Theo once. When Dave found out he was grounded for two weeks. This time... This time would be different. He would make sure that no one interrupted them so long as he could help it.

The class room was starting to get noisy now as there were only mere seconds left till the bell rang setting them free for the last time this school year. Though Alvin just sat there at his desk dreaming away. 3... 2... 1... The bell rang and everyone except Alvin who was oblivious to his surroundings flooded out into the halls to go home. The teacher just sat there looking at Alvin and laughed quietly. Not only did he not cause any trouble in her class today, he was the only one still sitting there and in of all places, at his desk. She sat there and debated for a minute or two weather to let him sit there till he came to or to wake him and let him go on his way.

Right as she came to her decision to wake him there was a light knocking at her classroom door. Come in she responded. The door opened and in came his brother Simon. Excuse me, but have you seen Alvin? He was supposed to meet me and Theo outside to walk home and we havent seen him. he said sounding a little worried. She pointed to a seat near the back of the room where Alvin was still sitting glazed over and engulfed in his daydream. Simon chuckled seeing his brother like this. It wasnt too often that anyone saw Alvin sitting still let alone behaving himself. He walked over to his brother and tapped him on his shoulder.

As he tapped his shoulder he started to say Alvin... School is over its tim.... Alvin woke suddenly and had a rather stupid look on his face. W... Wha... What did I miss? Alvin stuttered. It's time to go home Alvin Simon replied. Oh. Sorry, I must have been daydreaming again. Simon giggled as Alvin said this. Alvin didn't pay him any attention as he gathered his belongings and halfheartedly tossed them into his bag. Come on Alvin... We are going to be late. Dave wanted us home early today. Simon stated.

Having finally gathered the last of his belongings Alvin followed Simon out into the hall. They met up with Theodore just outside the cafeteria as they made their way towards the exit doors. They talked about the things they wanted to do with the summer. Alvin was looking forwards to their camping trip coming up at the end of the next week. Simon was looking forwards to having plenty of time to play with his brothers and read. Theodore was looking forwards to having plenty of time to play around in the kitchen. He had a few recipes he hadnt gotten to try as of yet and hoped they were as good as they sounded.

About half way home Alvin turned to Simon and said Hey Si? Yeah Alvin? Simon responded. Do you think Dave will let Brittany come with us this year? By herself. Simon smiled at him No Alvin. I dont think Dave will allow her to come this year. You two got in a little too much trouble last year. Alvin was about to argue that point with Simon but he wasnt given the chance. Come on Alvin, you seriously can't say you dont remember what you two were caught doing last year. Theo saw the whole.... Ok Simon... I get your point. But I still think it is worth a try Alvin interrupted. Theodore was blushing deeply as he recalled the sight he stumbled upon while searching for some berries to snack on. Just dont get your hopes up too high Alvin. I doubt any of the Chipettes will be coming this year to be honest. Jeanette and Eleanor both said they did not want to go this year. they reached their front porch just as Simon finished speaking.

Alvin sighed as he reached for the door knob, pausing for a moment before opening the door. Though they made good time coming home they were still late. As opened the door and walked in, Alvin tossed his book bag in the chair near the phone as he usually did. His brothers were not far behind him. Simon and Theodore both set their stuff neatly no the floor just to one side of the chair Alvin had tossed his bag into. They closed the front door behind them, Theodore calling out Dave? Were home... and starting to head off to the kitchen for his usual after school snack. He didn't get too far before he heard Dave calling from the living room.

Dave had been sitting in the living room waiting for them when they came in. Where have you guys been? he said as he stood up to meet them in the entry way. I thought I asked you to come straight home from school today? Dave sounded disappointed as he spoke. I'm sorry Dave. I was daydreaming and didn't hear the bell ring. Alvin said. Dave sighed and told them to put their stuff up in their room and get ready to go. They were going out to dinner tonight with the Chipettes and then to the movies. Dave was going along with them mainly to keep an eye on Alvin and Brittany. He knew they were all dating one another and had a sneaky suspicion about Alvin and Brittany. That their relationship was getting a little more serious than he would prefer.

After a short while Simon and Theodore came down from their room dressed as they usually did. What is taking Alvin so long? Dave asked. Simon looked at Theo and they both giggled and replied He wants to look his best for his date tonight. Just as Dave was getting ready to call Alvin down so they wouldnt be late he appeared in the living room beside his brothers. He was wearing his new hoodie and smelled like he had just swam through a pool of cologne. Dave looked at Alvin and told him to go lighter on it next time. You dont need to bathe in it, a little goes a long way. Alvin nodded and said ok.

They all piled into Daves car to pickup the girls and then head to dinner. On the drive to the Chipettes house Dave gave Alvin a lecture on what wouldnt be happening tonight. Alvin wasn't paying attention to what he was being told. He was just nodding and saying ok or yeah. The whole time he was lost in another daydream. Him and Brittany sitting next to each other at dinner, kissing in the movie theater, sharing a big bucket of popcorn and a soda. As they pulled up out front of the Chipettes house Alvin came to just in time for the end of the lecture and to hop out and greet his girlfriend. Simon and Theodore also hopped out to meet up with their girlfriends as well. They all hugged each other and Alvin kissed Brittany quickly to avoiding Dave's eye.

After their hellos they all got back into Daves car. Alvin and Brittany sat upfront with Dave, Simon, Theodore, Jeannette and Eleanor all sat in the back seat. The drive to the restaurant was relatively uneventful, they all were debating what movie they all wanted to go see after dinner. Alvin wanted to see the new action movie that came out the other day, Simon and Jeanette wanted to go see a documentary, Theo and Eleanor wanted to see the new Ice-Age movie. Brittany wanted to see a chick flick and knew Alvin would see whatever she wanted to just to be with her. Dave was debating letting them all go see what they wanted to. He didn't even want to see any movies tonight, he still had a lot of work to do on their latest album. Even though he did not trust Alvin and Brittany to be alone together for prolonged periods of time, he figured they should be able to behave in public for a couple of hours. At least enough to stay out of any major trouble.
