Death of the shepherd (part 4)
"Jason!" When there was no response I closed my phone, what could have happened to him? Oh shit, I need to find him! I grabbed danny's arm, " we need to go now!" I ran towards the exit dragging Danny behind me. "Dude what's wrong?" He asked now I had let go of him and was running towards his truck. He ran up next to me, and pulled out his keys, he press a button and unlocked the truck. I ran up to the passenger side and quickly opened the door. I jumped into the seat as danny flung open his door and got in. He shoved the key into the ignition and the engion roared to life, "Where are we going?" I calmed down enough to speak as we pulled out of the mall parking lot, "La puppy!"
We speeded down the road going about going about 70 mph. We were so lucky no cop were on the road right now. We were entering town and slowed down. After making a right turn we entered the street where la puppy was on. We pulled into the parking lot, the second the car stopped I jumped out and ran across the parking lot, where could they be? I spun around looking around the area. "Where could they be!?" I shouted, Danny ran over and grabbed me, "Calm down! We'll find them now who are we looking for?" I took a deep breathe, "...Jason and mark, they were suppose to be having dinner here but I they called and...and..." He looked into my eyes, I was about to break down if I couldn't find jason.
He let go me and grabbed my chin, me lifted my head and made me look into his eyes,"We'll find them don't worry" I brushed away the water in my eyes and looked back at the restraunt, then I scanned the parking lot. There was no sign of them, I ran towards the entrance of the restraunt, once I was in the building I ran past the waiter at the front door. She tried to stop me but I got past her and ran to the middle of restraunt she was about to catch me a man stopped her and started asking her for a refill. I spun around looking at everyone in the restraunt I walked around but still didn't see them. The waiter was looking for us, before she saw us Danny pulled me into the bathroom. He closed the door behind us, "Damn we need find them quick before we get caught." I backed up against the wall, "I don't know what to do!" I punched the wall. Just then my canine ears picked up a faint nice. At first I didn't hear it but it came back louder, "...help..." At first I didn't get where it was comeing from, but then a saw a window above me. I ran out of the bathroom faster then I have ever run, I ran past the waiter who yelled at me, then I ran outside of the restraunt.
I ran around the building to the side of it and slowed down. Danny finally caught up to me, "Dude where are we go-" I covered his mouth with my paw. I put my finger to mouth to tell him to shut up, I let go of him and walked forward. We walked against the wall, I stopped at the end and look around the corner. I saw Nate with his back to us sitting on mark punching him repeatively.
Nate was a lion that worked for Mr. Haines. Danny saw it too, after another second of watching we ran at him. I was the first to reach him, I ran up and kicked his back, makeing him fall off of mark. The lion recovered quickly and stood up, but before he could get any closer Danny ran past me and tackled him to the ground. Danny sat on his chest punching him. I helped mark up. Where was Jason? I wondered as I helped mark over to the wall then I went to go help Danny. Danny was still punching him in the face, I grabbed his shoulder, he stopped punching Nate. I grabbed my phone and gave it to Mark, "Call the police." I walked back to Nate, Danny still had him pinned on the ground.
As I was walking back to Nate when I kicked something I didn't see on the ground, I picked up the object. It was a pocket knife! I flipped out the 5 inch blade, Nate must have dropped it when Danny tackled him. I walked over to andy, Danny got off of him. We pulled the bear up and pushed him into the wall. I pushed the knife up to his crotch, "Tell me where Jason is or I'll cut your dick off inch by inch!" He spit some blood in my face. I put more pressure on the knife, "Have it your way" I continued to put more pressure on the knife. I heard his pants start to rip and so did he. The tip of the blade went through his pants, "Stop!" I pulled the knife back and looked at him. "Where is he?" He didn't respond, I was about to push the knife back into his pant, "Stop! I'll tell you where Markus took him!" He said Markus! That dick of a father must have found out about Jason taking him to court! "Well where is he!?" I pushed him against the wall and put the knife to his throat. "He's at the abandon warehouse outside of town!" He yelled at me.
I heard police sirens off in the distance. With in second three police cars showed up. Mark was explain what happened, while me and danny spoke to another cop,"Nate said that they took him to the abandon warehouse." I said,"We need to go find him." the cop looked at me, "okay son let's go me and Danny followed the cop Into his police car. We sat there gor a minute while the cop called for back up. It wasn't long before we were back on the road. We were going to get Jason. It wasn't long before we were outside offl town with about four police cars behind us.
The ride to the warehouse went in silence, the ride was about thirty minutes long but it felt like forever. To make the time go by I closed my eyes and imagined me and Jason hugging each other, and kissing, me telling him it was going to be okay. The car slowed down, then I saw why, standing in front of the warehouse was Markus holding Jason by his neck. The husky pulled Jason by neck behind the warehouse. The police car drove forward and behind the warehouse. Marcus was standing on a dock that was built behind the warehouse where the was a river. He had his around Jason's neck holding him. Asoon as the cars stoped at least ten cops ran out and ran behind the cars, we follewed them. They all pulled guns except for a Doberman who pulled out a mega phone. Marcus saw the guns and began to panic, just then Marcus reached in his pocket and pulled a pistol out. Nobody shot, there was the risk of hitting a civilan.
The cop with the mega phone said, "Sir put down the weapon!" Marcus took the pistol and put against jason's head, "Stay out of this!" He yelled back. I growled, Danny put his paw on my shoulder. "Now stay back or I swear I take his head off!" I growled again, now Danny had to get in front me to stop me from running out there and ripping markus's head off. I tried to calm down I looked over to the Doberman, he saw us and called a bull over, I moved closer so I was in earshot ,"Get those civilians out of hear." The bull walked over to us, "Hey guys I'm going to have to ask you to back away" He said. We didn't move, he walked in front of us and started to push us back. I try to get past him, I looked past him and saw Jason scared to death. I needed to do something. I grabbed the bulls arm and pushed it out of my way. Once I was past him I ran over to the Doberman, I grabbed the mega phone out of his hands and jumped on to the hood of the police car and yelled,"Leave him alone!" Marcus looked at me. "Shut up!" He yelled back. "What are to much of a pussy to go to court! You know you'll lose Marcus!" He was pissed now, "Shut up!" The cops tried to pull me back so I jumped of the hood now infront of the police car. "What are you going to do shoot me?, your to much of a pussy!" He pulled the pistol away from jason's head and pointed it at me,"Shut the fuck up!"
