Vengeance
"In a stunning verdict this morning Ray Valentino, who was accused murdering a a family but the older daughter escaped that fate by being at a friends that night, was found not guilty despite overwhelming evidence to his guilt, they decision was aid to have been rest on the fact a key witness for the prosecution withdrawing their testimony. The decision has the public in an uproar as several attempts were made on Ray's life as he was escorted from the courthouse, in other news......" the TV that had been playing the news report was turned off. A furred fist slammed into a table cracking the wooden surface of it. The fur the fist belonged to gritted her teeth at the pain in her hand from the blow.
"That fucking bastard should be rotting in hell!" She yelled at the blank screen.
After a few minutes the rage slowly left her as she let out a sigh and got up from where she sat and walked into the bathroom nearby. Turning on the sink and splashing some water on her face she dried off with a towel glancing at herself in the mirror. The image she saw as that of a 19 year old cheetah that would have beautiful if it weren't for the toll all the stress shed been under since shed found out her family had been murdered in cold blood. She stood around 5'8" and had medium length brown hair that framed her face, and gold colored fur covering most of her body.
Shaking her head she looked a way before she stepped back out into the living room. Glancing at the photo of her family that hung on the wall she clenched her fists saying, "I vow to make this guy suffer and avenge you all."
Across town in a small apartment Ray Valentino sat smirking as he watched the news about him getting out of the murder charges. "so easy to bribe people." he said as he continued to watch the news.
The news then switched to a live report of a cheetah walking down the street then being mobbed by reporters asking, "What are your thoughts on the trial?"
She walked right up to the camera for the news station he was watching, snatching the mic from the reporter before saying, "I know he rigged the trial, and that he did it. Oh and Ray I'm coming for you." she then dropped the mic and walked off leaving the stunned reporters behind.
Ray was a bit taken aback by what the cheetah had said, then he burst out laughing at it and flicked off the T.V. And headed out to a local dive bar where he normally hung out at, not thinking twice about the girl.
The cheetah girl walked down the street flicking up the hood on her black hoodie as the rain started down on the city. She walked up and looked at the sign for the bar on the corner, pulling a perfectly forged I.D from her pocket.
Her name was changed so no one would know it was her as she walked in. her eyes were instantly drawn a back corner booth where the son of a bitch she was looking for was sitting there with what must have been his buddies. Deciding to ignore him for now she sat at the bar ordering a Jack and coke, which a minute later she was sipping on.
As the hour dragged by and she finished her drink Ray had moved up to a seat near her at the bar, she was tempted to just turn and snap his neck right then and there, but she waited biding her time till she saw him walk out with a woman. She payed her tab before following a minute later.
Later that night she sat back at home watching the T.V. As a news bulletin came up.
The reporter stood out side of the motel from earlier as rescue and police teams were in the background. "earlier today Ray Valentino got out of a murder charge, but this time he was found holding the murder weapon, covered in the blood of women who he hand brutally murdered. He is now in custody and being held with out bail."
she turned of the T.V. Smiling laughing at the news. "I told you Ray I was coming for you."
